Nadja was doing a news broadcast of the recent events that transpired

"Coming to you live from the Grand Palais Museum," said Nadja. "I'm Nadja Chamack. Gabriel Agreste's fashion show was recently delayed after the Queen of Fashion, Audrey Bourgeois, was akumatized. But everything is back on schedule again after Ladybug and Lord Sprite heroically stepped in to save the day, as usual. The fashion show can finally begin!

Gabriel was watching the news on his phone within his repository, but he then switched off his phone and placed it in his pocket.

"I don't want to break our promise, but… I can't keep putting our son in danger," he said, looking at his wife in her coffin riddled with guilt. "Style Queen was supposed to be my masterpiece… but even she failed. I feel like I've done all I possibly could, you know? I'll never be able to fulfil my wish without Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. Forgive me, Emilie. I'm giving you up, Nooroo."

He then removed his brooch, forcing Nooroo to enter the Miraculous. He placed the brooch in a silver box and left the repository in the light, which began to go out one by one.

Once you reach back to the surface, he sat down in his chair, distraught and took off his glasses. Nathalie noticed this and hugged Gabriel.

Back at the Grand Palais, the fashion show was back on. Lights danced around the room as Adrien posed on the catwalk.

"Scoop," said Alya as she recorded everything. "The hat Adrien Agreste is wearing was made by my BFF, Marinette!" She then pointed her phone at Marinette. "Anything you'd like to say during my livestream?"

Marinette waved and squealed the camel awkwardly, but Alya noticed something behind Marinette, which surprised her.

"What?" Alya gasped.

Marinette turned around and was equally surprised as everyone in the hall. Audrey crossed her arms in disgust, and Chloé mimicked her pose.

"I… don't… believe this!" said Alya.

"What's going on?" Jack asked, confused. "Don't tell me someone's been akumatized."

"No," said Marinette, stunned. "But it's just as shocking."

Adrien turned around, shocked, as he stood on the catwalk at his father. This was the first time he had appeared in public since his wife disappeared.

"Ladybloggers, a huge update!" said Alya. "That's Gabriel Agreste; he hasn't been in public in ages."

Gabriel walked down the catwalk towards Adrien and stopped in front of him. Adrien just stood there frozen in shock and then took off his hat as his father pulled him in for a hug. Adrien wrapped his arms around his father while holding the hat.

The paparazzi instantly began taking photos of Adrien and his father in embrace.

"Scoop number two!" Alya cried. "Gabriel Agreste has just turned up!"

Audrey unfolded her arms and pulled her sunglasses down with her finger. Chloé mimicked the same pose, and Alya and Marinette stood up in excitement.

"And that means we'll be seeing your hat in every single photo and news broadcast!" Alya said to Marexcitedlyryone began taking photos of the Agreste duo.

After the fashion show, everyone began to leave.

"This was Gabriel Agreste's first public appearance since his wife disappeared," said Nadja. "This fashion week is full of surprises and shockers."

Gabriel and Adrien were now making their way over to the Bourgeois.

"My dear Audrey, I heard about the unforgivable misfortune you had to endure," said Gabriel. She extended her hand to him, and he kissed it.

Audrey took her hand back. "I'm still quite overwhelmed."

"I want you to know that I've fired the person who was responsible for the misunderstanding," Gabriel informed her. "Only one row in the house is befitting to Audrey Bourgeois, and that's the first."

Audrey smirked. "Let's not overdo it. Huh, Gabriel?"

"Did you enjoy the show?" he asked.

"So, so," she said, taking Adrien's hat off his head and examining it. Jack, Marinette and her parents were watching close by. "This hat is not a 'Gabriel Agreste'." She then looked at Marinette. "Are you responsible for that?"

"Uhm…" she said nervously.

She looked at her parents, and Tom gave her a thumbs up. Jack nodded at her encouragingly.

"Stand proud!" Adrien whispered, and Marinette smiled at him.

"I… I'm the one who created it," she said with a nervous smile.

"Marinette won a fashion design competition," Gabriel explained.

Audrey lifted her glasses to better examine the hat. "It's the most…" Chloé looked at Marinette smugly, expecting her mother to chastise her. "…exceptional thing I've ever seen! You're a visionary, Marinette! Glitter's had its day. Feathers are the trend of tomorrow!"

Marinette gasped in surprise at Audrey's enthusiastic statement.

"I haven't felt this much emotion since…" Audrey continued and looked at Gabriel. "…you."

"She does have talent," he said, smiling at Marinette.

Audrey then looked at her. "You wanna be a fashion designer, right?"

"Uh-uh… Yes, ma'am," she said nervously.

Audrey placed the hat back on Adrien's head. "Then come to New York with me! I'll make you the biggest name in fashion! I'm sure you'll even upstage Gabriel."

"I'll be able to model for you!" Adrien smiled.

"It's certainly the opportunity of a lifetime," said Jack.

Marinette then looked at her parents, who looked at her proudly.

"We'll be here for you, honey, no matter what you decide!" said Sabine.

"My helicopter will be leaving for the airport at 8 p.m. tonight," said Audrey, putting her glasses back on.

Marinette put her hands in front of her face, not knowing what to do. She was a bit reluctant to leave Paris since she needed to protect it, but could she really refuse the biggest opportunity of her life?

"Isn't this awesome for Marinette, Chloé?" said Adrien, looking at Chloé.

Chloé currently had her head down, seething.

"It's… It's ridiculous!" she yelled furiously. "Utterly ridiculous!" She then turned to her mother. "I've never been to New York with you, and you're taking Marinette Dupain-Cheng!?"

"I'm taking her because she's exceptional, Claudette. Uh— Chloé," said Audrey simply.

"I'm exceptional, too!" Chloé argued.

"The only exceptional thing about you, my dear… is your mother," she said harshly.

Marinette and Adrien looked at each other with sympathetic looks.

"Audrey, dear—" said Mayor Bourgeois, grasping hold of Chloé, but she pushed him away. "Chloé!"

"Ugh! I'll show you how exceptional I can be!" Chloé roared.

She then suddenly pulled out the Miraculous Jewellery Box. The moment she opened it, a yellow glowing orb flew out.

"Chloé!" Adrien yelled.

"No!" Marinette cried at the same time but quickly covered her mouth.

"This is not good," said Jack under his breath.

Gabriel just gasped as he recognised the glowing or, and Audrey lifted her glasses. Then suddenly emerging from the ball walen, much to the shock of everyone.

"How may I please you, my Queen?" Pollen asked.

"What is that thing?" Audrey asked.

"Chloé… what are you doing?!" Adrien asked.

Chloé threw her sunglasses to one side and put the hair comb in her hair. "Pollen, buzz on!"

Chloé then began to transform; her golden blonde hair turned into a long ponytail with black highlights running down it. She was now wearing a skintight yellow outfit with black stripes, and strapped to her waist was a yellow and black striped spinning top.

Everyone then watched as she somersaulted backwards and landed on top of the Gabriel Agreste board.

"I am Chloé Bourgeois, and from now on, I'll be your new superhero, Queen Bee!" she announced. "We'll soon see if you think Dupain-Cheng is still more exceptional than Moi! Spinning Top!"

She then used her spinning top to exit the Grand Palais.

"What is happening to our beloved daughter?!" Mayor Bourgeois gasped.

"She always was such a show-off," said Audrey and walked down the red carpet. "See you tonight, Marinette. I'll meet you at my helicopter."

Mayor Bourgeois then ran after her.

"Why do I get the sneaking suspicion that things are going to end badly for Paris," said Jack.

Nadja and her film crew had caught everything on camera.

"Un-bee-lievable, Paris' got a new self-proclaimed superhero whose not-so-secret identity is none other than Chloé Bourgeois, daughter of fashion Queen Audrey Bourgeois," said Nadja.

As Nadja talked, Gabriel was making a call.

At Master Fu's shop, both Master Fu and Wayzz had just watched the TV footage from his tablet.

"How could Marinette have given the Miraculous to that Chloé girl?" said Wayzz.

"There is no way she would have given it to her," said Master Fu. "But I know whatever transpired, she will set things right."

Back at the Grand Palais, Nathalie approached Gabriel and Adrien and pointed to their limo, where Placide I.T. was waiting.

"We better be going home, Adrien," said Gabriel. "Thank you all for coming."

Adrien sighed as Gabriel escorted him past Jack, Marinette and her parents.

"I better make a move as well," said Jack and placed a hand on Marinette's shoulder. "And no matter what you decide to do, you'll always be exceptions."

Marinette smiled at him and watched as he walked away.

"It's probably not a good idea to stick around with Chloé Bourgeois thinking she's the bee's knees," Tom suggested.

"I'm sure Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite will fix everything!" Sabine confidently.

Tom then placed his hand on Marinette's shoulder before she could say anything. "Let's go back home."

The three of them then walked out of the Grand Palais.

Jack quickly found a hiding spot and let Nooroo out of his jacket.

"This is bad," said Jack. "Chloé with a miraculous is a recipe for disaster."

Nooroo nodded. "Yeah, who knows what kind of damage he could do."

"Then we better move fast," said Jack. "Nooroo, light wings rise!"

Jack then began to transform into Lord Sprite.

He then somersaulted onto a nearby rooftop and called Lady P.

"Lady P, and gets you to know about our new so-called superhero," said Sprite, bringing his cane to his mouth.

"Who hasn't? It's all over the news," said Lady P. "I'm trying to track her down now; I'll let you know when I have something."

"What a mess," said Sprite, shaking his head.

He jumped off the roof and began swinging through the street with his cane.

Adrien was now driving back home with his father, and he was more than a little concerned about Chloé.

"I hope Chloé doesn't do anything foolish," he said to his father.

"I'm sure Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite will deal with her," he said confidently.

Nathalie looked back at Gabriel through the car's rearview mirror as Adrien sighed, annoyed.

Chloé, who now went by the name Queen Bee, had reached the Place de la Concorde. She swung around using her spinning top to navigate Paris and had just landed on the Roue de Paris.

She sighed. "There's nothing exciting going on in this city; no one to save." She growled in annoyance but then noticed the Métro entrance. "Hmm… If you want it done right…" She then flicked her head, smiling. "…you have to do it yourself."

She then took out her spinning top apart so she could make a phone call.

Back at the Grand Palais interview area, Nadja and her crew were packing up when she got a message on her phone.

"Nadja Chamack? Chloé Bourgeois here," said Queen Bee. "I mean, Queen Bee. Come ASAP; I'm about to rescue the passengers of a metro that's in peril. You've got to film this!"

Once she finished her phone call, she immediately swung towards the Métro entrance.

Marinette and her parents were currently on a train.

"We'll open a bakery in New York and introduce our Dupain-Cheng pastries to the Americans!" said Tom.

"Are you sure, Tom?" Sabine asked. "You've always been afraid of flying."

"I'd fly to the moon and open a bakery for my daughter if I had to," said Tom dramatically.

Marinett smiled but then looked sad. When no one was looking, she grabbed her purse and opened it to look at Tikki.

"What should I do, Tikki?" Marinette asked. "It's like my dream come true. I can go to New York and become a real fashion designer."

"Who will protect Paris from Hawk Moth if you leave?" Tikki asked.

"Cat Noir, Lord Sprite, Rena Rouge—"

"Only Ladybug can capture akumas," Tikki pointed out. "I wouldn't be able to come to New York with you."

"Nothing will come between my daughter and her dreams," said Tom.

Marinette then heard footsteps. "What was that?"

The footsteps belonged to Queen Bee, who was running on the side of the train. She then reached the driver's cab and jumped inside.

"Venom!" she yelled.

She then quickly spun her spinning top, which suddenly transformed it into a stinger. Then, before the driver had any time to react, she stung him on the arm. The driver then tripped, falling backwards while still holding the throttle, causing the metal to pick up speed, and then he suddenly froze.

Everyone in the Metro immediately screamed, and the televisions turned on to show Queen Bee's face.

"Passengers, have no fear," she said. "Watch Queen Bee in action. You can thank me later."

"A new superhero?"

"Who is it?"

Queen Bee jumped in front of the train and tried to stop it without success. Nadja and a cameraman waited on one of the platforms, where the metro rode past very quickly past them.

"Is she gonna save us or not?" a passenger asked.

"She's not going to pull it off," said Marinette.

Gabriel entered his Lair and opened the brooch box, releasing Nooroo.

"Master?" Nooroo frowned.

"I still have one chance, Nooroo. All is not lost," said Gabriel. "I have a unique opportunity to akumatize someone with a Miraculous. Nooroo gasped in horror. "A superhero-turned-supervillain can only be… exceptional!

He then removed his scarf. "Nooroo, dark wings rise!"

Nooroo screamed as he entered the Miraculous, and Gabriel transformed into Hawk Moth.

Adrien had just entered his room and quickly closed the door behind him, and Plagg flew out.

"I hope we're not too late!" he said and held out his ring. "Plagg, claws out!"

He then began to transform into Cat Noir.

He then launched out of the window and onto a nearby rooftop when he suddenly got a message from Sprite.

"Hey, Sprite, I suppose you heard about Chloé," Cat Noir assumed.

"Hard to miss when she transformed live on television," he said. "Anyway, Lady P has found her in the subway. I'm heading there right now."

"Meet you there," said Cat Noir, who began to make his way to the Métro.

In the runaway train, Tom quickly burst into the driver's cab and began putting down random buttons to stop the train.

"Uh… uh… uh…" he said frantically.

"Stay here; I'm gonna help your dad," said Sabine to Marinette as she dashed towards the driver's cab. "Tom, make it stop!"

"I'm doing my best!" he said.

Marinette looked around and saw that there was no one watching, giving her the perfect opportunity to transform. She bent down behind the seats and let Tikki out of her purse.

"It's time we drag Chloé down to earth," she said. "Tikki, spots on!"

Marinette then began to transform into Ladybug.

At the same time, Nadja and her cameraman had just entered the Métro platform. Then, she noted that Cat Noir and Sprite were on the opposite platform.

"Cat Noir, Lord Sprite, what are you doing here?" she asked.

"Waiting for the next train," he said.

"And it should be arriving… now," said Sprite.

Sure enough, the train arrived, and the two of them quickly jumped onto the train.

Nadja looked at her cameraman. "Come on!"

They then quickly ran back up the stairs.

Queen Bee was still struggling to push against the train, but she wasn't having any luck stopping it, and she screamed as they went down the tunnels.

The trio managed to climb onto the train and ran across the roof towards the front, where they saw Queen Bee.

"Need a helping paw?" Cat Noir asked.

"Sto-o-op sta-aring!" she said, shaking thanks to the sleepers on the track. "Can't you se-e-e you're distracting me-e-e?"

"This is not a playground!" said Ladybug. "Cat Noir, I'll slow it down as much as I can; you and Sprite stop it!"

Ladybug then began to jump off the train and swung her yo-yo, wrapping it around the train. She then landed on the wall, hooked her yo-yo string around one of the supports, and held onto it with all her strength. This slowed the train down a bit, and when they reached the next station, Cat Noir tossed his staff, which extended just before the next tunnel.

Queen Bee screamed when she saw the staff, and she probably would have been sandwiched between the train and the staff were it not for Sprite, who pulled her up in time. The train slammed into the staff and came to a stop, though the engine was still running. When the doors opened, both Cat Noir and Sprite helped everyone off the train.

"Thanks for your cooperation, people," said Cat Noir. "Please, keep on being pawsome and evacuate the station calmly."

Ladybug then swung into the driver's cab.

"Ladybug, thank you so much!" said Sabine gratefully.

"You're welcome, mo— madam and sir!" she said. "I'll take care of the driver."

Then, suddenly, the yellow glowing spot on the driver's arm faded. He then snapped out of his stun and quickly switched off the train.

"You're welcome," said Queen Bee in front of Nadja's camera. "It was nothing. I was merely—"

Ladybug then marched up to her. "Queen Bee! This was your doing!"

"Oh, Ladybug, you're too kind!" Queen Bee beamed. "This was teamwork. Oh, how amazing is this? We're a team now!"

"You're the one who paralysed the metro driver, aren't you?" Ladybug scolded. "You used your power to create this situation just to make yourself look good!"

"Who cares?" She said dismissively. "We saved them, didn't we?"

"Completely irresponsible!" one of the passages glared.

"Your actions put yourself and everyone on that train in danger!" said Sprite furiously. "And in point of fact, it was us who saved the passengers, not you!"

"Queen Bee, or rather, Chloé Bourgeois, we're on the air with your mother, Audrey Bourgeois," said Nadja, holding out the tablet with her mother on it. "Audrey, do you have anything to say, live, on TV?"

"What? Regarding my daughter's ineptitude?" Audrey asked. "I think it speaks for itself, doesn't it?"

"Chloé. Give me back your Miraculous," Ladybug demanded, holding out her hand.

"Finders keepers, losers weepers," she said, covering her Miraculous.

Cat Noir gasped. "Did you… lose a Miraculous?!"

Ladybug then took his hand and pulled him away from the camera. "Listen, you lost a Miraculous once, too! May I remind you I was busy taking care of Style Queen?"

"Uh, guys, you think you could have this conversation later?" Sprite asked.

The two of them quickly turned around and saw that Queen Bee was heading for the stairs.

"Queen Bee—Chloé, wait!" Ladybug yelled.

They quickly ran after and reached the surface, but she had disappeared.

"Chloé!" Ladybug yelled.

"Wherever she is, she must've transformed back by now," said Cat Noir.

"She's probably gone home," Ladybug assumed. "I'll pay her a visit and get the Miraculous back!"

"I'll come with you," said Cat Noir.

"You're not leaving me behind," said Sprite.

The three heroes left, and the van stopped in front of the Métro to pick up Nadja and her cameraman.

Queen Bee had just landed on her bedroom balcony and looked down at the floor dejectedly whilst panting. Her Miraculous was beeping, indicating she would transform back soon.

From his lair, Hawk Moth could sense Queen Bee's negative emotions and opened the window to his lair.

"It was bound to happen," he said. "Superpowers aren't child's play, my dear Chloé Bourgeois." He then turned a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my little Akuma, and evilize this fallen hero!"

He then released the akuma, and it fluttered out the window into the streets of Paris.

The akuma soon reached Queen Bee and entered the Bee Miraculous. The moment it did, a butterfly-shaped halo appeared on her face.

"Queen Wasp, I am Hawk Moth," said Hawk Moth telepathically. "Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite don't want you as their friend, so you will be their most powerful enemy. Nobody has managed it yet, but you will defeat them because you are… exceptional. In return, you must seize their Miraculous."

"You can count on me, Hawk Moth," said Queen Bee. "I'll teach them to respect me."

Dark ether then began to cover her body as she began to transform. When it disappeared, she just stood there wearing the same costume, except her face was now yellow and her outfit colour scheme was now opposite, so now it was black with yellow stripes.

Just a few moments later, the three heroes had just landed on the roof of the Le Grand Paris and jumped down onto Chloé's balcony. Once there, they snuck into her room.

"Chloé?" said Ladybug.

"Queen Bee?" said Cat Noir.

"Looks like she's not here," said Ladybug. "Let's go!"

They quickly took the elevator and made their way down to the lobby. Upon arrival, they gasped at everyone in the lobby, who were all frozen in place. They examined everyone and then noticed that all of them had sting marks on their necks.

"What's that, an insect bite?" Cat Noir asked.

"No, they're sting marks," said Sprite.

"That's impossible; she can only use her special power once, like my Lucky Charm," said Ladybug, confused. "She should've transformed back." They then suddenly heard a buzzing and saw a swarm of wasps heading straight towards them in an arrow formation. "Cat Noir, watch out!"

Ladybug pushed Cat Noir onto the ground and landed on top of him. Sprite quickly spun his cane, using it as a shield, blowing the wasps away.

"Your reign is over, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite!" said Queen Wasp, looking down at them from the stair railings. "I don't even care if you don't give me your Miraculous; my wasps will paralyse you, and I'll simply take them myself."

"Nice work, Queen Wasp," said Hawk Moth. "You truly are exceptional! I knew it!"

"Wasps, Venom!" Queen Wasp commanded.

The wasps then flew straight down at them in the form of three darts.

"Run!" Ladybug yelled.

The trio quickly fled out of the Le Grand Paris and then jumped onto a nearby rooftop.

"Hawk Moth must've akumatized her while she was still Queen Bee," Ladybug assumed.

"Giving her power up in the process," said Sprite.

"I bet the akuma's in her Miraculous," said Cat Noir.

"That makes sense, but Miraculous are indestructible," said Ladybug. "We will need your Cataclysm to release the Akuma."

"You know I'm all yours, M'Lady," Cat Noir smiled. "We just have to find out how to capture it without getting stung."

"A ladybug doesn't stand a chance against the queen of wasps!" said Queen Wasp, floating above them onto swarms of wasps beneath her feet.

She then had the wasps lift two cars into the air and then tossed them at the heroes, and they quickly jumped out of the way. However, one of the cars began to fall towards the civilians on the street, but Ladybug quickly formed a net with her yo-yo, catching it before it hit them.

Sprite then quickly moved in, grabbing the civilians and pulling them out of the way so that she could lower the car. Then, she saw the wasp-darts heading towards her once again. She began running around, avoiding them, just as the TVi van with Nadja arrived. Cat Noir tried to hit Queen Wasp with his staff, but she was able to grab it before it hit them.

"Hahaha, put your claws away!" she laughed as she spun him around and released him.

He came flying straight towards the ground, but luckily, Ladybug was able to grab it before he hit the concrete. However, the impact caused her to slide backwards into a street lamp, and Queen Wasp laughed at them.

"So, who's exceptional now, then? Them… or me?!" she asked.

"To claim total victory, you must take their Miraculous, Queen Wasp," said Hawk Moth.

"I was just having a bit of fun, Hawk Moth… before delivering the final sting!" she said, sending her swarm of wasps at them.

The swarm headed towards the three heroes, who went up and quickly ran away. They jumped onto the rooftop of the wasps, which were still on their tail, now in the form of a missile.

"Jump!" Ladybug yelled as they reached the edge of the roof.

They then jumped off the roof and dived into the Seine. The wasps stopped just before they hit the water, and they were now unable to follow them. They just hovered over the surface.

"You can't escape my wasps!" said Queen Wasp, then floated over the Le Grand Paris. "Bring Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite to me!" The wasps then suddenly began to fly all around her. "Dispersal!"

The wasps spread out all over Paris, forming binoculars and spyglasses in the air.

Meanwhile, the three heroes were still swimming, using their weapons as oxygen masks. They climbed aboard a houseboat.

"What, you think I'm a catfish?" Cat Noir asked.

"I don't know, but I do know we're gonna have to come up with another plan," said Ladybug.

"Yeah, we need a way to get away from her wasps," Sprite agreed.

Ladybug nodded and tossed her yo-yo into the air. "Lucky Charm!" Then suddenly, materialising in thin air was a red and black spotted snorkel, which she caught. "A snorkel!"

"Your Lucky Charm has a great sense of humour: at least you won't drown," said Cat Noir.

Ladybug's eyes widened. "'Drown'! That's the idea: wasps don't like water!" She then looked around and noticed an inflatable duck, a roll of tape, a hose and three garbage bins. "We may have to get a little dirty."

"That's ironic; we just took a bath," Cat Noir joked.

Ladybug rolled her eyes and smiled. "Just follow me."

A few moments later, the three heroes hid underneath the garbage bins and steadily walked towards the Le Grand Paris. However, for some unexplained reason, neither the wasps nor Queen Wasp noticed them.

"Where are they?" said Queen Wasp impatiently.

She then heard the sound of the elevator bell dinging. She quickly spun around and was surprised to see three bins exiting the lift. The wasps immediately attacked the bins, but they couldn't penetrate.

"Ugh, that's disgusting!" she said.

"Cat Noir, now!" Ladybug yelled.

They quickly stood up and tossed the bins at Queen Wasp, who knocked them aside.

"You'll never get it back!" she said, covering her Miraculous.

However, Cat Noir jumped onto her, grabbing and wrapping his legs around her waist while carrying the inflatable duck, the hose and the snorkel; he then stuck the snorkel into her mouth. Ladybug and Sprite jumped into the Seine, and Ladybug managed to wrap her yo-yo around Queen Wasp's ankle as she fell, pulling her and Cat Noir down to the Seine with her and Sprite. She then placed her yo-yo over her mouth, and Sprite removed the stone from his cane, placing it against his own.

Cat Noir quickly fixed his oxygen staff just before they hit the water, and the inflatable duck, which functions as a buoy to keep the hose from going underwater, and the hose attached to the snorkel, makes for a makeshift oxygen mask for Queen Wasp, so the four can fight underwater. This also meant that the wasps could not assist Queen Wasp so long as she was in the water.

The three of them then began to engage Queen Wasp, but she still put up a strong fight. She managed to grab Cat Noir and tossed it to one side, but then she had to engage both Ladybug and Sprite at the same time.

"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir yelled in a muffled voice.

Cat Noir then swam down towards Queen Wasp, and Ladybug managed to grasp her arms and put her in a hold. Sprite then grabbed her legs to prevent it from kicking, leaving her completely defenceless. Cat Noir then swam up quickly and placed a finger on Miraculous, causing it to disintegrate upon impact. The akuma flew out of it, and Queen Wasp transformed into Queen Bee, who transformed into Chloé. Chloé grabbed the broken pieces of the Miraculous and held them tight sadly.

Above the water, the wasps disappeared, and the akuma flew out of the water. The three heroes then jumped out of the water with Cat Noir carrying Chloé and Sprite grabbing the hose and the inflatable duck with him.

Once on dry land, Ladybug opened her yo-yo. "No more evil-doing for you, little akuma." She then began spinning her yo-yo around. "Time to de-evilize!" She swung her yo-yo, catching the akuma and pulling it back. "Gotcha!" She then released the now-purified butterfly and watched it flutter away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly."

She then tossed the snorkel high into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"

The magical ladybugs then appeared and fixed the Bee Miraculous.

The trio then fist-bumped. "Pound it!"

"I have to get the Miraculous back, Chloé," said Ladybug as Nadja's van arrived.

"Give me a second chance, please!" Chloé pleaded.

Nadja then approached, holding the tablet with Audrey on it. "Audrey Bourgeois, tell us live how you feel about what just happened."

"According to me, Chloé just clearly demonstrated that there is nothing exceptional about her," said Audrey on live television.

Cat Noir bent down and placed a hand on Chloé's shoulder. "I know that you did the things you did to impress your mother."

"Anyone can make mistakes, even a superhero," said Ladybug. "What matters is how you fix them. I personally made one by losing that Miraculous. Don't make the mistake of not giving it back. Act like a hero."

"And show everyone how exceptional you can be," Cat Noir added.

"And one does not need to be a superhero to be exceptional," said Sprite.

Chloé smiled and rose to her feet and handed Ladybug the Miraculous.

"Thank you," said Ladybug graciously.

The trio were just about to run off, but Chloé stopped them. "Ladybug? Cat Noir? Lord Sprite?" The cameraman then moved in closer. "I'm sorry."

The trio smiled and then ran off.

At the helicopter pad, Audrey was waiting for Marinette.

"Time to go, ma'am," said the pilot.

"I give her the chance of a lifetime, and she dares to be late?!" Audrey fumed. "Unacceptable, utterly unacceptable."

"Should we leave?"

"No… give it one minute more."

The pilot then walked away exasperated.

Marinette was riding the elevator at the Le Grand Paris.

"Are you really okay with this, Marinette?" Tikki asked.

"I thought about it long and hard, Tikki," said Marinette. "I'm sure I'm making the right decision."

The elevator stopped, and then she knocked on the door to Chloé's bedroom.

"Go away!" said Chloé through the door.

"That was the plan, but no," said Marinette.

Chloé opened the door and stared at her surprise. "Dupain-Cheng⁈"

Audrey was still waiting on the helicopter pad, getting more infuriated, when she saw Marinette arrive.

"Well, well. It's about time," she said and began to make her way to the helicopter. "We can take off now."

"I won't be coming to New York with you," said Marinette, much to Audrey's surprise. "I still have so many things to do here. All the people I love are here: my parents, my friends."

"You're making a mistake, Marinette," Audrey warned.

"I think you're wrong. A huge part of your life is here in Paris, too!"

Marinette then stepped aside and showed Chloé and Jean, who were carrying quite a number of suitcases.

"Chlorene? Uh— Chloé?" Audrey stared.

Chloé looked at her mother, then at Marinette in a guilty manner, then back at her mom.

"Why don't you love me, Mom?" asked.

"But… Uh— Of course I l-l-love you," she said, taken aback.

Marinette groaned. "You're also wrong about your daughter not being exceptional. In fact, Chloé is exceptionally mean. She's the worst person I've ever met. She may be more heinous, pompous and selfish than you. Compared to both of you, even a rock seems more capable of love."

Both Audrey and Chloé then suddenly turned towards Marinette, furious.

"How dare you⁈" they yelled in unison, but then gasped and looked at one another surprised.

"See? You're both much more alike than you think," said Marinette and walked off humming.

Audrey then looked at Chloé. "Are you as mean as this… Maria… says?"

"Well, I don't have one single friend in school except for Sabrina, but she doesn't realise that I'm just using her," Chloé admitted and then whispered. "My favourite hobby is giving Jean-Louis a hard time."

"You mean Jean-Yves."

"Who cares what his name is?" said Chloé dismissively and then turned to Jean. "Jean-thingy put my luggage in there! No, not like that?! Take them out and stack them from smallest to the biggest!"

Audrey watched as Chloé bossed Jean around and was rather impressed.

"I think I may have judged you unfairly, Chloé," she said. "Martha… uh— Marinette's right, you are exceptional, just like me." She then hugged her. "I've decided I'm staying in Paris with you."

"So we're not going to the airport after all, then?" said the pilot.

"You're fired!" the two women yelled, and they smiled at one another.

Gabriel was in his repository looking at Emilie.

"Ladybug, Cat Noir and Lord Sprite made a mistake today… and there will be others," he said. "Then, we'll finally be together once again… my love."

Gabriel then entered his atelier and came out of the floor in the elevator. Nathalie stood there waiting for him.

"You said you were going to stop," she said.

"I can't give up, Nathalie," said Gabriel. "I miss her too much."

"I understand… sir."

Nathalie then walked out of the atelier and closed the doors behind her. She then leaned against them, disappointed.

Marinette was currently in her living room playing a videogame with her parents and Alya.

"Are you sure that you won't regret this, Marinette?" Tom asked.

"I'm sure, Dad," said Marinette. "Paris is my city. Our city. Besides," She then wrapped her arms around her father and Alya, "everyone I love is here."

"Yeah… and one guy in particular," Alya half-whispered and then laughed.

Marinette laughed as well. "And my best friend."

She hugged Alya and winked at Tikki, who was watching from her bedroom, and she winked back.
