Authors notes: And here we have chapter five I'm glad I'm finally getting into the depth of Izuku's 'quirk'. A few more chapters for the story to stand on and I can finally get to the canon timeline.

Ryuujin96: heh as said chaos cannot be measured .
Ryuujin96: sure thing omakes incoming
Ultima-owner: indeed also see above about omakes
Steampunkdragon987: I actually had Loki as god number 7 in the first draft but every time I started writing for him I had to stop. Because with my research into his myths he came across as less chaotic and more of a prick who does things not because their fun or chaotic and more as a petty bully with an inflated ego, honestly his only real claim to chaos is that he flip flops between helping and hurting the gods. Unfortunately most mythological gods in mythology almost always have a reason for what they do such as greed lust or wrath, that's why this version of Eris is the one from Billy and Mandy, because she does everything for shits and giggles. Marvel Loki is completely an anarchist too 100% motivated by power and conquest.
Chapter 5 How do I quirk?
Man has always been curious. Man has always sought answers. They have researched all forms of life, from the tallest mountains to the deepest oceans. They have delved into the building blocks of life from DNA to genetics. The mysteries of the universe has always held man's deepest intrigue, the stars holding man's next great adventure. But since the beginning of man, there has been one mystery that has never been deciphered, a mystery that the wisest philosopher's ponder to this day, a mystery that has stumped the smartest geniuses, a mystery all of man deal with everyday.
Women.
Young Izuku Midoriya unfortunately beheld this mystery in front of him. The girl in front of him introduced herself as Tsuyu Asui, she had green hair like him, though at a shade or 2 darker, she had Large Dark eyes and a small nose. The Girl was Waiting for him to Introduce himself Back to her, he swallowed and tried to stammer a response. "I'm uh...I..Izu...Izuku M...Midoriya." he managed to get out, failing to look her in the eyes.
The frog girl tilted her head slightly followed by a tiny nod. "OK than Midoriya I wanted to thank you for the Rescue earlier today." She said with a small smile.
Izuku rubbed the back of his head as a blush dusted his face. "I eh didn't even know i uh was going to be any help, my legs kinda just started moving on their own." he admitted.
The girls eyes widened slightly. "Thats Kinda cool to be honest, to try and help someone without having to think about it." She said as his blush grew darker. She brought a finger to the side of her cheek and Pouted slightly. "Although i gotta ask, what do you mean by you didn't know you could be any help?" she asked.
The boy stilled as he seemed to Stiffen and radiate anxiety, Tsuyu noticed out of the side of her vision that the boys mother Worriedly Rubbed her hands together, turning her focus back to the boy in front of her who looked one step away from hyperventilating, after a few moments he began to speak, strangely calm...no not calm the girl noticed, more resigned? "I didn't know that i would be any help because until That moment with the car. I thought I was quirk-less." he said in a quiet tone as he looked away from anyone.
The whole room stilled, the entire Asui family Looked stunned, sans the Youngest member Satsuki who was asleep in her mothers arms. Tsuyu's mouth opened slightly as she brought her hand up in shock. "How...How could you have thought you were quirk-less?" she asked in horrified curiosity. "Wait you jumped in front of a car to save some one you didn't know without any type of quirk?" She Questioned in astonishment.
The boy continued to look to the side as he sagged into himself. "I was diagnosed Quirk-less when i was four. The thing with the car was the first time in my life i did anything Special." he said as he rubbed his arm anxiously.
There was a small shuffle to the side, than he felt a pair of arms envelop him into a hug. The boy stiffened as he turned his head and noticed it wasn't the young girl that hugged him but instead it was her mother. The woman lightly squeezed him. "Thank you...i can not even imagine what growing up thinking you were quirk-less was like. The fact that you turned out as amazing as you have is incredible." she said pulling back with a fond smile. She than turned to Inko who's pride shined from her eye's. "You raised a wonderful son Inko." she said with a nod to her fellow mother.
The Green haired mother looked slightly downcast but looked at her son fondly. "I...I can't claim to be responsible for it," She admitted guiltily.
A quiet voice spoke up. "Why..why did you do it? you would have died, we...you..why?" Questioned the frog girl who had yet to recover her wits.
Midoriya couldn't really come up with a good answer as he shook his head. "i don't really know, i...my legs started to move on their own and i just had to...try, even if i couldn't help i had to...do something." He said as his fist visibly clenched.
As those words hung in the air, recovery girls voice came from the doorway. "And that is something all true heroes feel." She said as everyone turned to the elderly heroine who was standing next to a smiling Nezu who was holding a few papers. "Many a great person will describe some of their greatest moments as them moving without thinking, jumping into danger to help those that needed it, All Might himself often said that was a true measure of a great hero." She explained as the boy's eye's shined.
The Furry man next to her nodded. "Indeed it is. To jump into danger with no hesitation even if things are hopeless, while irrational and possibly a bit idiotic, is the mark of someone who i will always hold in high esteem." He said fondly as he handed a small amount of papers to Inko and than Strangely to Beru as well. "These papers are small contracts that i came up with to start a new small extra curricular training camp for the rest of the summer." He explained as the women went over the contract, Inko was visibly having trouble with the legal speak of the contracts while Beru seemed to have little to no trouble.
Beru nodded with a sly smile. "I have to say Nezu. This is a work of art" she said with an impressed chuckle. Noticing her fellow mothers confusion she explained. "Inko to put it in the most simple terms, this contract is basically Nezu using U.A's status as a Private hero school to place any student that signs up with the program as a probationary student, which would grant those kids with the opportunity to use their quirks in controlled environments under supervision. But what is truly impressive is that this will completely bypass the governments claim to any quirks that are deemed too dangerous for the public, as U.A has Special Permissions from when it was founded That allows them to keep any students on their rosters in hopes of teaching these children to control said quirks." She explained with an impressed smile.
Inko still seemed confused. "I dont understand, could my sons be quirk be seen as dangerous? Also would this mean that U.A has legal control over my son?" she asked overwhelmed by the idea.
Nezu shook his head. "No no Not at all." He assured the mother as Beru nodded in agreement. "No what this does is cut off the avenue for anyone who would attempt to take advantage of his quirk, with this contract and my new summer program, Midoriya is legally and technically a Student of U.A, therefore until he either goes to a different high school, in which he would be protected by their charters, or until you decide to unenroll him from the program the development and guidance of his quirk is decided by me. But his legal status and guardianship is still yours." He explained to the mother.
Said mother nodded slowly. "so its all just so no one can take Izuku away from me on a made up technicality." She asked as her worst fear came to the forefront of her mind.
Beru laid a hand on her shoulder and gave a comforting squeeze. "Yes. It is basically a safety net to not only help Izuku learn how to control his quirk but to keep him with you as he belongs." She said.
Inko shook with a small sob. "Thank you so much I'm eternally grateful." as she bowed her head slightly while exhaling the breath that she had been holding.
nezu smiled and clapped his hands together. "Now that the heavy talk is done with why dont we have a bit of fun" He said looking to the kids. "Miss Tsuyu i gave your mother a copy of the contract in hopes that you might be interested in not only learning more about your quirk, but also helping Izuku here learn about his, he has quite alot of time to make up for after all." He said his eye's shining with amusement.
Tsuyu gave a small smile at that and at the sight of Izuku bowing his head slightly in a bit of embarrassment. "Kero i would like that if my mom is alright with it." She said trying to sound calm, but the small amount of begging in her eyes that turned to her mother gave away how excited she actually was. In response her mother simply gave a small chuckle and pulled out a pen and signed the bottom of the contract in her hands. "Than yes i would like to join and help...myself learn more about my quirk." She said cutting herself off hoping the boy next to her didn't catch her slip.
Luckily for her Izuku was more interested in looking at his mother with his hands clasped in front of him begging to his mother with pleading eye's. She just smiled and patted his head. "Oh stop with the eyes i already agreed remember?" She said signing her copy as the boy started bouncing in his seat again.
Nezu turned and motioned for everyone to follow him. "Wonderful! now if you would follow me i'll show you to the place where we will be holding the summer program." He said walking down the hall with the group following.
As they walked down the halls of the greatest Hero school in Japan, Izuku could be seen twisting his head in all directions trying to permanently capture every detail in his memory. "This all looks amazing! Look at that over there! That must be the stadium That U.A holds the sports festival in! He said looking out a window at a large building on the school grounds.
The young frog girl next to him found his excitement rather endearing but internally her thoughts were a jumbled mess. 'I just dont get it.' She thought to herself. Anyone who knew her would never deny that she was a blunt person, but she still liked to enjoy life and its many facets, she would also never deny someone their joys in life, but the boy next to her didn't make any sense to her. He was supposedly quirk-less, only using it for the first time today, and while she did believe the boy and the nurse who backed his claims of not having a quirk, the boy didn't really fit the mold of someone who more than likely have a rough life. 'He did seem uncomfortable with talking about being without a quirk, but he still seems a little too relaxed with the whole thing. He had to have been at least a little unpopular with his classmates right?' With herself being an example of someone who looked out of the ordinary, she had been on the rough end of a good amount of playground taunts, and while she tended to ignore them, she knew that kids could be cruel to those that didn't fit in, she also knew that mutants like herself were very rarely held in high regard, but at least she had a quirk, and therefore was at least higher up on the social totem poll than someone quirk-less.
Bringing her very direct personality to the forefront, she decided to try get to know the boy a little better. "So Midoriya, How are the rest of your friends going to react when you tell them about your quirk?" She said studying how the boy would react.
She was not suprised but a little saddened that her question had made the boys smile falter slightly. He never stopped walking but he did seem a little less exuberant. "I...uh..I dont know, its really...gonna be a shock to everyone though." He said hesitantly with a small wince as he slightly curled into himself.
That wince and his hesitance very plainly told the girl and her mother that was listening in the entire story. 'He doesn't have any friends back home.' They both thought in a mixture of pity and displeasure. Beru gave a side eye to the boys mother and noticed the deeply saddened look in her eye's as she looked at her son.
Nezu feeling the awkward air decided to lighten the mood. "It is rather impressive that you recognized the stadium for our sports festival, is it something you watch every year?" He asked trying to bring the boy out of his shell a bit.
The question, while not bringing the boy to his previous mood did bring a slightly bigger smile to the boy's face. "Ya i try to catch it every year i can." He said to the principal. "This years was amazing, That final fight of the third years where they split the ring so hard that it broke the cameras at ringside was definitely plus ultra!" He said with excitement.
Nezu chuckled to himself with a small shake of his head. "Oh yes and while we encourage our students our students to go plus ultra, i know for sure that Cementoss and Power loader had some stern words with miss Usagiyama and miss Tatsuma after their match ended in a draw." He said with some humor to his voice.
The tour led the group outside to what seemed at first to look like a skate park with ramps, rails and platforms all over, but after looking at it a few moments they all noticed the inclusion of sand pits, tires and several other obstacles that one would find at a typical bootcamp. "Wow this looks amazing kero." Tsuyu looked out, very impressed with the training ground.
The Principal smiled and waved a hand to the training ground. "This is the training grounds which are fully available to all of the students in our heroics classes, they are all encouraged to use these grounds not only to expand their skills but also to hopefully learn to use their quirks in alternate ways." He explained to the gathered onlookers. "Now than, mister Izuku if you would, can you stand on that platform and we will attempt to figure out your quirk." He said as he motioned for the boy to stand on a nearby spot. "So why don't we try something easy" He said as he handed the boy a small ball from a nearby basket. "If you would, can you try and change this into something else, something simple like a rock." He explained.
The boy took the ball and looked at it. This was his chance, a chance to prove he could be a hero. prove that he deserved to be something...more. Holding the ball tightly thrust his hand out with a flourish as the ball went from a ball to...a ball. "Eh?" He asked, mostly to himself.
The group looked on as the ball stayed a ball, grass continued to grow, and someone somewhere was having a wonderful time watching paint dry. Nezu politely coughed into his paw to get the boy out of his quiet moment. "Well that doesn't seem to be it, maybe try and put the ball down and create a rock instead. this time try and pull forth the same feelings you had when you brought out the whoopie cushion." He coached.
The boy nodded and dropped the rock, he brought his hand out in a cupping position and clenched his eyes shut, trying to bring forth the energy he felt when he leaped in front of the car he just couldn't seem to grasp it. "Come on, please please work please!" He grunted to himself.
As everyone looked on Nezu's brow furrowed, he than patted his pocket and pulled out his cellphone. "Ahh excuse me for a moment I need to take this." He said with an apology as he walked out of earshot.
For a good couple of minutes the boy continued to try and summon a rock but just couldn't accomplish it. "No what am I doing wrong, please it has to work!" He berated himself tears stinging his eyes.
Tsuyu saw the boys frustration and spoke up. "Try and summon another Whoopie cushion maybe you can summon rubber things but not rocks." She suggested.
Nezu who had just returned from his phone call came over and spoke up. "A great idea, but before that why don't you spend a few moments to gather yourself and try to concentrate before you do your next attempt." He said
Midoriya nodded slightly and closed his eyes, he slowed his breath and tuned out everything around him, looking deep within himself he held out his hand. 'Please. I know you are here. I know that you are apart of me. Please, help me. Please.' He begged to himself. As he clenched his eyes shut and flexed the muscles of his arm, he finally began to feel something. It was small, but it was there, he clamped down on the new feeling and began to bring it out towards his hand. 'I'm doing it just a bit' BOOOOOOOOOOM!
His thoughts were completely interrupted by a ground shattering quake that knocked him off of his feet. Scrambling up his eyes widened in horror as he saw his mother, the principal and the Asui family be surrounded by a large stone dome. "What is-" He began to ask aloud when he was interrupted by a shadow covering him.
The shadow connected to a large man with ebony stone skin a rectangular head and was wearing black leather gear. "Well well well looks like I missed one." The man said with a deep gravely voice.
Izuku looked up at the man in confusion. "Cementoss?" He questioned the hero look alike.
The man's grin turned feral. "Heh no kid I'm not my pansy ass little brother, no I'm what you would call the failure of the family. And now I'm here to ruin my little brother's life, and his precious little schools reputation, all at once. I'm sure a few dead kids and a dead principal will bring him running. Heheheh." He chuckled
Izuku backed away from the insane man in front of him. " Let...let them go!" He yelled pointing to the dome.
The villain smirked. "Hmmmmm nah I have a much better idea heheheh." He said walking over to the dome and pressing his hands to it before it began to rumble. Izuku heard muffled screaming coming from inside the dome. "There we go" The man said dusting his hands off. "Now the dome is gonna slowly shrink on the inside until all that's left is a couple of piles of goo." He said looking very proud as he turned to the boy.
Tears streamed the boys face. " No! Let them go! Please!" He screamed.
The rock man shook his head in amusement. " No can do bucko, life don't work that way, the strong break the weak. I'm strong and you're not. Heheheh" he said with another chuckle.
The screams grew louder, and Izuku began to shake in fury and horror. " LET THEM GO!" He screamed at the top of his lungs his eyes glowing dangerously.
The villain suppressed a small shudder going down his spine. "Scream all you want kid, but screaming ain't gonna save anyone" He began to say as he stepped towards the boy. Izuku glared with loathing at the man who walked towards him. All sense of peace and tranquility left his body and with a sharp gesture he brought his hand out driven by instinct. The villain stopped and squared up into a small fighting position. "Oh? What are you gonna do kid? You gonna square up and be a hero?" He taunted with a grin. Izuku's eyes narrowed. Brought his middle finger to his thumb and then.
SNAP
The boy snapped his fingers and for a moment nothing happened, the stone man saw nothing at all and than laughed. "Heheheheh you almost had me their kid I was actually a little wor-eeeeeeeeeeied" He squealed as he brought his hands to cup his now agonizing junk, looking down he noticed a boxing glove attached to a spring had appeared beneath his feet and shot directly into his poor groin. "You punched me in the nuts." He squeaked out in a high pitched voice. "Why? Why did you punch me in the nuts" He asked in unbelievable pain as he fell to his knees.
The boy ignored his pain and raised his hand above his head.
PHHHSSSSHHHH
A loud hissing noise was heard, as the boxing glove transformed into a large clown faced boxing balloon, it quickly expanded underneath the stone man launching him into the sky. Izuku crouched down and pressed his hands to the floor, a puff of smoke obscured him for a moment but when it clears he is seen sitting upon a green space hopper ball holding the nubs in is hands, he takes a quick small bounce before his second bounce launches him at high speed into the sky.
He quickly reached the villain who had just reached the apex of his flight, jumping off the space hopper, Izuku brought his hands together and was suddenly holding a plastic hammer 5 times larger a sledge hammer, It's handle was yellow and the heads were bright red. The boy brought the hammer down with all his strength. "HYAAAA!" The boy roared.
SQUEEK
The hammer loudly squeaked as the villain was launched back towards the ground.
SPLASH
Only to belly flop into a kiddy pool filled with a sticky and smelly liquid. Shaking and aching the villain crawled out of the pool and shakily stood up taking in deep breaths. it was hard to move his body as the liquid clung to him. "The hell...is this stuff?" He asked in between breaths. Looking to the side of the pool he saw a sign. "Warning contains fish oil and ...liquid cement!" He exclaimed aloud. He than noticed a wide shadow surrounding him, looking up his jaw dropped and his eyes bulged as a semi truckload of white feathers fell from the sky onto him.
Clawing his way out of the pile, he burst out now looking like a large chicken with a rectangular head. "When I get my hands...on...him." He said trailing off suddenly noticing that in front of him was a horde of felines, hundreds strong, they ranged from small kittens to what seemed to be the size of cows, he could also swear to seeing what seemed to be a chia pet with googly eyes.
From the pack a large brown cat with black markings on hits head and a red ribbon on its ear stepped forward. The entire pack licked their lips and bared their teeth as they sniffed the air. "Mrewrow, mrew mrew morw." The head cat spoke as it pointed to their dinner, the horde descended upon the now screaming man, their bodies blocking sun as they flew.
Tearing and clawing, the cats tore into the man who in a desperate attempt to escape quickly surrounded himself with stone. He could her the growling and hissing surrounding his little bunker as he sat against the wall hugging his knees, rocking back and forth. "They can't get me, they cant get me, I'm safe nothing can..." he chanted but trailing off as he hear a small wind up noise in front of him. Looking down he noticed a small box with a crank on its side, the crank was moving on its own and the box was making a very familiar tune. The man felt true fear as the song reached closer and closer to the end, he was frozen, he couldn't move he could barely breathe, his body trembled. "Please...no more." He begged as the song reached its end.
Pop goes the weasel
From outside the bunker Izuku looked on, his face neutral as the bunker suddenly exploded outward in a blast of confetti and bright pink smoke. Once the smoke cleared he Impassively walked to the wreckage of the stone structure and found that the man inside was knocked unconscious, looking to the side he noticed that the dome that covered the others had stopped rumbling and he could no longer hear screams and instead he heard muffled conversation. Content that they were all safe he turned to the villain that dared to put his mother and new friend in danger. His impassive face slowly turned into a devilish grin that a certain Christmas stealing green man would be proud of, he held out his hand and a makeup pouch appeared. "Heh heh heh" He chuckled trying to imitate the man's laugh, pulling out some lipstick as he walked towards the helpless villain, who despite being unconscious shivered in terror.
Chapter 5 end
Omake: First action
As they sat around on the couch watching their newest acolytes the 5 gods found themselves very proud of the young boy. "I told ya da kids gotta knack for this." Buggs said
Eris laughed as she watched the stone man get turned into a man sized chicken. "I do have to wonder though, is if the boy is simply allowing chaos to take the wheel or is everything he summons something he actively knows about? I didn't think anyone of his era would even know what a space hopper or a chia pet is." She thought aloud bringing a finger to her chin.
Discord shrugged. "Who knows my dear, I'm just glad its correctly manifested, though the whole dark emotions thing he was doing is a bit worrying." He said with a frown.
Genie munching on some milk duds nodded. "I guess were gonna have to find out next chapter. I do hope he doesn't go through an edge faze though, its gonna be hard enough to keep the kid from being too ooc as its is." He said factually.
The floating triangle next to him rolled its eye. "Who cares, as long as he being chaotic he could grease his hair up and start listening to my chemical romance for all i care. Also you!" He said pointing to the sky. "Stop referring to me as a triangle you uninspired Hack!" The extremely grumpy, ugly, stupid and overall whiney little triangle yelled at the writer. A small flash of light and said whiney little triangle found himself in a small crib wearing a bonnet and chewing on a pacifier with a rattle in his hand. "Oh you absolute bastard." He growled out, He looked to the side and saw a sign that said.
Time out punishment for 1 chapter.
Buggs shook his head. "Just never learns does he?" He said rolling his eyes.
Heh don't mess with the writer
Omake end
Authors notes
Whew that was rough this chapter took awhile, in all honesty I wanted at first to end the chapter at the point where Izuku failed his first attempt at using his powers and leave it on a "well that was anti climactic" joke, but I really wanted to get to the actual fun bits so I just made the chapter twice as long as normal. As for the fight scene, I'm ok with it but also not ok with it, originally it too was much longer but it just didn't flow right and wasn't really leaving Izuku room to grow at all, so I kept it short and sweet for the sake of keeping his powers fun but not too overwhelming at the moment. As for him being a bit ruthless and serious here, don't worry we will get to that.
Also the cat in front was Tora from Naruto, i like keeping his godly powers meme going so he is making a cameo here. A translation for him is.
Mrewrow, mrew mrew morw: Tonight, we dine well. My feline speak is a bit rusty though.
I like the idea of getting direct input so at the end of the chapters I'm gonna ask you all a question or two for advice on things I'm a bit on the fence about or just things to help the story be better or just so it flows better.
For example
Questions for the audience
What looks better to you guys: quirkless or quirk-less? I could do either from now on but would like input.
And for the second question should Izuku and Tsuyu be in 1-A or 1-B together (Because no way I'm separating them.) Originally i was gonna stick with 1-A because it would be easier to write, but i kept getting stray thoughts on how it would be really funny if 1-A (mostly Katsuki and Todoroki) only got to see Izuku's new powers at the sports festival. But let me know what you all think, I would like to know your pros and cons of Izuku bringing chaos to either of the class.
Damn, looks like I'm a few words short of 5k uh
