We must take a break from our two main characters for a moment and go back to our third main character Riley to see what she's doing right now and how she gets all along in the quarantine zones with Helena and Julius. Also, we'll jump a year ahead next few chapters, they'll be sear jump, some not all, but you might say keep a couple of years at least one year or two in one spot but right now we're jumping a year. Riley is now eight and for clarification for the next chapters Luther will be 13 and Scarlet will be 17 so will be 18. Also big happens. We have to read and find out what it is All right.

Riley

One year later

it's been at least a year one year, since I was taken from the Palace and brought to the quarantine zone one year, since I've had the since I had my Voran tattoo removed and became part of the family one year since since Helena adopted me a year since my friends were captured, are you when a year since Janice took them away? I wonder how they are doing and if they're doing OK I'm always worried about them Scarlet and Luther locked away in that palace. I would think that Luther would be fine that Scarlet poor Scarlet be tortured by her brother something I couldn't bear to think about. I agreed for them to be locked away so that I could have my freedom but still, I wasn't expecting this.

The guard told me they'd be fine, but they wouldn't be harmed in any way they lied, and now my mother was getting ready to be killed too. It was too much too much even though Helena is my new mother. I still miss my other mother, the queen made with her in charge for still a little while maybe nothing bad completely will happen, mother can keep Scarlet safe in some for a while they're in prison, but it hurts so badly I'll never see my friends again they're not even allowed to leave the palace like I was because they're not Royals. They're only father prisoners in a way though I'm still father's prisoner even being locked here with with my new mother and father, with Helena and Julius, I'm still a prisoner of my father, traded one prison for another. I traded the palace as a prison for being in the quarantine zones with the humans and almost every family is incompetent. Every family in this quarantine zone is complacent except for the mother and father they're having hope that they'll get out one day, even though has been taken, I felt like there was no hope or trap forever no hope no escape.

I even told Helena that I told my new mother Mom there is no hope we are stuck here in these zones for the rest of our lives. Why my new brother and his lover are trapped inside the palace forever mom said, why can't you just fly to the palace and look for yourself I could, but the guards would see me if I flew over the wall, they didn't restrict my magic, but they restricted me from leaving this quarantine zone but I could fly to the wall. Like I said no one had freedom that they didn't have freedom. They couldn't even go to the sore eye like I could go the one night I snuck out I mean I didn't think out according to my parents but to the guards I did, I flew over the wall because I could fly over and landed on a parapet. I flew from one room to another first looked in on Scarlet the room she normally sleeps in, was empty for the time being so I flew to the room next door and looked through the window there I saw the horrific sight of her brother doing her ex-brother was doing horrible things to her, my face was as pale as white stone I can't believe what I was seeing eight-year-old eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I watched and whore as Scarlet was insulting and run in front of me. Her beautiful face once beautiful and fragile was covered in bruises. I felt like I was gonna be sick watching this I saw my future sister-in-law being tortured I knew she was going to be because I knew my brother was going to marry her one day Mother brought it up once she told me, that Riley, they'll be in the time when this will not be in our family will be reunited one day and your brother will marry her marry, Scarlet. I don't think anyone in the trials will have ultimate-level spells she not I mean not yes no one does. I was happy that they were somewhat healthy but I'm worried that they might not stay. That way I tried to get some rest, I need to sleep more than anything and I don't want them to know that I flew out and saw them. I can't let mother and father know the guard shall not know.

that I visited the palace recently, but I had to check on them I couldn't just not and I wasn't told I shouldn't. I feel better now that I have checked on them my new brother and my new sister-in-law to be.

Another few days passed maybe months passed in our family once again, I didn't Back to the palace to check on my family. Instead, I focused on new things that were going to happen for the new bundle of joy that mother and father were having a new sibling for me not just for me, but for Luther too, even though he'll never see him, it made me sad that they will never get the meat. I don't know if it's gonna be male or female, but I know that we're having something I'm excited for a new sibling to play with. I'm kind of lonely here.

because of the new baby, I decided to stay around more in the house. I did it to keep them comfy. Comfort was very important to them. I couldn't think of it. I couldn't focus on all the sad stuff that was going on. I had to think of the positive and the new baby that was coming but I was also worried about the new child. I can't believe that they're gonna have a baby in this darkness, well maybe it'll be a little bit of light a little hope maybe it'll bring mother and father joy And it'll bring me joy as well. That's what I deserve from having to be treated so poorly.
