"Good morning, Mōri-san. I'm going to see my uncle", Shizuka said since the detective agency.
"All right. I'll watch Okino Yōko's next concert!" Kogorō said, turning on the television.
"Yōko-san might not be suitable for that drunk", Shizuka wondered Kogorō's attitude toward Okino Yōko.
The sun was rising when Shizuka arrived at Professor Agasa's house.
Pim pom! Shizuka played the doorbell.
Agasa opened the door:
"Good morning, Shizuka-kun. Come on".
Shizuka went inside as the professor closed the door behind him. Shizuka left his shoes in the lobby, and put the slippers on his feet.
"Are you bored?" Agasa asked as she went to her lab with Shizuka.
"Somewhat. I don't know how I should look for those men dressed in black", Shizuka said.
"It's good that you took up the matter, because besides me, no one knows the truth about what happened to you?" Agasa asked.
"No. I've kept my mouth shut for that matter. I know quite well from your reminder that my loved ones would be in danger if those men dressed in black found out I was alive", Shizuka said, sitting in a chair.
"Good", Agasa said.
"For Ran, and her father, I'm just Irene", Shizuka said.
"Speaking of Ran-kun, he went here this morning to meet me and ask why you haven't come to school. I told him that you have found a new case to investigate and that you are doing your homework so far by e-mail. I told Ran-kun even that you don't want to be disturbed in solving the case I just mentioned, and that Ran-kun, for example, artists who can't stand interruptions in their work after receiving inspiration, know that I recommend that you come here to do your homework. By the way, have you adapted to school as Miyamizu Irene?" Agasa asked.

"What kind of tools do you mean?" Agasa asked.

"I'll check to see if I can design such tools for you. But finding Yokai could be difficult, and you might have to break into some places to check for art objects there for Yokai," Agasa said.
"How about infrared glasses for seeing laser beams so I can dodge them? Is that what my mother encouraged me to become a gymnast?" Shizuka murmured.

"All right. But how could I make the situation look like Kogorō would solve the cases?" Shizuka asked.

Agasa gave Shizuka a pink bottle of perfume.
"All right. Thank you", Shizuka took the equipment with him, and left Agasa's house, returning to Kogorō's home.
Kogorō had fallen asleep on the couch.
"Where have you been?" Ran asked Shizuka.
"I was meeting my uncle", Shizuka said.
"How can Hakase?" Ran asked.
"She's doing well", Shizuka said.
"Great, but where did you get those stuff?" Ran asked after seeing Shizuka's new goods.
"I went shopping a little", Shizuka said.
"Good smell", Shizuka said after sniffing a little of the smell coming from the kitchen.
"Thank you. I'm making curry", Ran said.
