NOTES!
My first fanfic! Its just a simple little idea i had with Naoto from "Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro", All i am doing is little side stories where he interacts with people OTHER than Nagatoro. (And nagatoro still bothering him too). There will be the obvious ones to bother him (Maki Gamou, Yoshi, Sakura) Then there's the other side characters. (maybe Nekoba, Orihara or something idk lmao) Plus, this is an AU where he does things other than art. (In this AU, He Abandoned the old activities when he got into art, but has started doing them again. It's just a fun side thing i wanted to incorporate.)
So with that Being said, here is my crappy Fanfiction!
ANOTHER NOTE: U.S. Things will be mentioned at times (Bands, artists, Stores ETC) and when it is mentioned it will have a * next to it, so at the end of the chapter, I will give a definition on what it is, just so you can find out.
FINAL NOTE: This Fanfiction is in no way a continuation of the current Manga, IT IS ONLY A SIDE STORY! It doesn't Matter if you think this is after Naoto and Nagatoro started dating or not, that is up to you to decide. AGAIN, THIS IS JUST A RANDOM SIDE STORY FOR FUN! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE SERIOUSLY!

CHAPTER 1: Maki Gamou
It was a normal, normal day for Maki Gamou. She hung out with Hayase Nagatoro and Yoshi like usual, and went about her school day. There was no judo practice, so she had nothing to really do after school. Although, one thing was on her mind.
Earlier That Day:
"Hey, Gamou.."
"Yeah, Hayase?"
"I.. I have to go to the store today, so i cannot see Senpai."
"Oh? What 'bout it?"
"Just... Can you probably see what Senpai does on his free time when were not around?"
"Probably pervy things~"
"Gamou! I'm being serious this time around."
"Okay Okay, Hayase. I will check."
"Thank you, Gamou."
Present:
"Huh, she really wants me to check on Paisen. Is she that jealous someone can snab him from her?"
Whilst Maki kept thinking about why Hayase would want her to check on Naoto, She heard some snare drums.
"What the hell was that?"
Some more snares.
"Is someone drumming?"
They were clearly coming from a top floor, Since Maki could hear it from the 1st Floor. She went up the school stairs and went to the 2nd floor, and it got louder.
*SNARE SNARE SNARE*
"It must be the third floor!"
Maki raced up the stairs and soon enough, she got up to the third floor. She put her ear to every door, Once she got to the art club room door, she heard somebody drumming a song!
"Huh? Paisen's cave? Who could be drumming in his place?!" questioned Maki. "Better yet, why is it a song i know?"
She kept her ear to the door and slowly but surely, she memorized the song from her favorite band , Shinedown*.
"That's a Shinedown song! Who is drumming the song though?! And why is it a good drum cover?!" Maki had all of these questions flowing in her head, so she decided to wait until the song was through and over so she can find out who is drumming.
Soon after the song and drumming was over, Maki prepared to bust through the door, Still curious and driven to find out.
Inside the Art Club Room:
"Phew, i have not drummed like that ever SINCE i started art!" That was the voice of Naoto Hachiouji, whom was not drawing for once, BUT he was drumming for the first time since childhood.
What he didn't know though, was one of his curious, driven kouhai getting ready to burst into the room. Maki Gamou was still awaiting the perfect time to bust into the room.
As he opened the Storage Room, and got the drumset halfway into there, The door busted wide open.
"WHO WAS DRUMMI-" Maki Gamou stopped halfway through her sentence once she saw the very scene before her eyes, Naoto Hachiouji was halfway through putting his drumset away. Not just that, Naoto didn't even have on his signature school uniform! Since they allowed Home clothes to be worn at school, Naoto was in a normal outfit, something very rare for him at school! He was wearing a Grey shirt, with Grey sweats.
Maki took this time to process everything, and as she did, Naoto reacted hastily.
"You saw nothing!" He said as he pushed the rest of the drumset in the storage room and slammed the door shut. Naoto looked beyond embarrassed, blushing and all. Nobody has seen him do anything other than Art in years, this was a first.
Maki finally found her words and started questioning Naoto.
"Paisen?! You drum?! How did i never know?!"
Naoto had no real response to her question, seeing as he just lashed out in a quick way to hide the drums. Maki already saw everything, so he may as well come clean.
"F-Fine.. yes, i drum. There, Happy now?" He responded.
"I never thought YOU would drum, at all!" she said.
"Well i do."
"How come i have never known? Does Hayase know?"
"If she knew, i would never hear the end of it."
Maki was still processing this. Naoto just revealed a secret, AND Nagatoro doesn't even know?! She had a lot more to ask, but left it for another time. She had one more question that mattered now.
"So.. about the song.." She started, before Naoto cut her off and came clean about that too.
"It's Shinedown. I listen to them in my free time when i draw. They became a big part of easing myself after Nagatoro bothered me constantly."
Maki was even more in shock. Naoto listens to Rock? That is insanely crazy to her, and for good reasoning.
"Waitwaitwaitwait, let me get this straight.." She started. "You drum, Listen to Rock, And Hayase knows NOTHING about it yet?!"
"Nope. None. Nada." Naoto responded.
"Shocking you can keep a secret that long. Makes me wonder what else that pervy mind hides!" Her teasing demeanor came right out of nowhere and started changing the topic.
"So tell me Paisen, anything else you got to spill before i depart?"
"N-No!" said a Blushing and embarrassed Naoto. "You already know 2 secrets and i am not willing to spill anything else! What are you even doing here anyway?!"
"Hayase wanted me to see what you do in your free time, when we don't pester ya."
"... And she chose the day i brought my drumset in."
"Apparently so. Can't wait to tell her!~"
"Oh no you are NOT!" Naoto immediately switched to a defensive and almost aggressive tone, something None of the girls would expect, especially Maki. "You are not telling HER out of all people! The others? Maybe. But NOT Nagatoro!"
"Jeez Paisen, you trying to keep her in the dark?-"
"SHE WOULD NEVER LET ME HEAR THE END OF IT! I can only imagine the new nicknames she can incorporate with the music taste and instrument i have. I do NOT want that to happen."
Maki stopped her demeanor of teasing and thought for a minute. Naoto really wanted to keep this between them, for what reason? It's something she didn't want to peer into yet, but it was definitely on her mind. She thought to herself "Maybe another time."
"Well Paisen, I'll be sure to keep it very.. VERY secretive." Maki got her traditional smug face back and kept up her demeanor. "But ya gotta promise me something."
"... What?"
"Play me some Shinedown songs on the drum!"
".. Ah.. I figured. Okay then."
Naoto took the drumset and drumsticks out the storage room and made sure he didn't break it when he shoved it into there earlier. Once he set it up, he started doing a drum cover of one hit song from Shinedown, Devour*.
Later that day:
Maki was walking home after a good hour or 2 of bothering Naoto and listening to his drumming. All the while still thinking about her unanswered questions she never got to ask. While in her thoughts, she got a text message from Nagatoro.
"Yo Maki, what was Senpai doing in the room?"
"Normal paisen things. Drawing, Dull, Boring, and fun to Tease!~"
"Really? I thought he would be doing something different by now!"
"Nope! Not anytime soon, Hayase."
"Well thanks for checking in on Senpai!"
"Not a problem! It was definitely fun to tease him!"
Maki stared at her texts for a minute and said to herself, "Paisen isn't that bad of a guy after all." With that, Maki smiled and put her phone in her pocket, walking down to her house.

Devour- a Hit song by Shinedown from their 2008 Album "The Sound Of Madness"
