What if Kron stayed with the Belladonnas Part 1

"Heyoooo!" Fu shouted at the camera. "You guys missed me? Sorry for the wait, I did some shinanigans involving taking a version of Broly from a different timeline were he had a crown, made him on par with the Broly that grew up on Vampa and had them duke it out!" He chuckled thinking of their fight.

"Ohhh man, it was crazy, I'll show you some pics later!" Fu said putting a hand to his chin. "Oh man, next time I should have em fuse."

"Anyway, let me see what you guys voted for, hmmm" He looked at a tablet with the voting results. "Oh wow, Option B wins with 10 votes! Guess you guys wanted a happier timeline after tha last one alrighty!"

Fu pulled out a scroll with the letter B and placed into the screen.

"Here we go!"

A black screen showed on the monitor with the title "What if Kron stayed with the Belladonnas?"

Kali and Kron had their talk, that in the reality we all know would be the last time he saw Kali.

But unlike our reality, at this moment Kron was being watched.

A black bird watched the entire conversation.

Raven had decided not to leak any information on Kron to Ghira just yet and was curious how he was getting on with such a family that had no conflict involved in it.

To her surprise he wasn't as annoyed as she expected.

In fact she saw a whole new side to Kron, one she couldn't understand.

This woman, Kali had softened him, in just a few weeks.

She had raised Kron, watched him fight, murder and laugh as he did so. He loved the carnage he caused. But now he seemed so different, he seemed…. Happy.

Raven looked at Kali and felt something she hadn't felt in awhile.

Envy, watching them interact. She wished she could form this kind of bond with someone.

It was different than her 'bond' with Kron he and her knew that they were tools to the other. Kron would use her to get stronger and she would use him to be a pawn against Salem.

With Kali? She had genuine care for him, and Kron despite his hesitancy, felt it to. He cares for her.

Maybe Tai was right, maybe Yang was better off without her.

And maybe Kron was better off without her.

She can bring him back under her wing. Just enact the plan and have Ghira know where Kron is in a wounded state. He would capture him, and he would break free once recovered. And would give into his rage and be forced to leave.

Then she can have him under her wing once again. Either learn his power or raise him to be the strongest of the Branwen Tribe, next to her of course.

But seeing these two made it clear.

Doing her plan would destroy Kron's new bond.

Seeing this sight would force her resolve to crumble.

It was here that she decided to change plans. She couldn't do it.

This was the beginning of a happier life, for Kron.

Kron was in his room about to drift off to sleep.

Just then a black and red portal opened.

The Saiyan fought sleeping and sat up.

Not to his surprise Raven walked out of the portal.

She wore a strange expression on her face, it wasn't one he was used to seeing. Almost sad?

"What is it Raven?" Kron asked as his tail waved back and forth. "Here to demand an answer of me rejoining the tribe?"

If he was honest, he wasn't sure that he'd want it, not after what he's experienced here.

Still the idea of fighting in the tribe wasn't entirely unappealing, the only downside is that he'd be back to taking orders and the constant wining of the other tribesmen.

Raven smirked hearing that and sighed.

"I'm afraid not."

Kron was confused hearing that and before he could question Raven continued.

"Kron" She sighed, it pained her to say this. "You are exiled from the Branwen Tribe."

The Saiyan heard this and his eyes widened.

"What?" He asked. "Wait why? You've been hounding me trying to convince me to come back, what's changed?"

Raven can hear a hint of disappointment in his voice, sounded like he was tempted to come back. But she knows he wouldn't come back, and he shouldn't come back.

"After thinking about it, I realize that it's best if you don't return to the tribe." Raven responded. "I can't promise the other tribesmen will not attempt to attack you behind my back again, and if they do, I doubt I can convince you to spare them."

That was one reason she had.

Kron tensed up and took a stance even with his busted-up arm. Does mean she was going to kill him.

Raven chuckled at his reaction, she taught him well.

"Ease up Kron, I'm not going to kill you." She turned around and cut open another red portal. "Your free to do as you wish, just please do not get involved with the Branwen Tribe."

Kron calmed down, he was relieved and at the same time disappointed he didn't get another fight with Raven, even if he was injured as she left he didn't know what to say.

Before Raven stepped in the portal she turned to her surrogate son and smiled.

"If you decide to stay here, then I recommend you tell Ghira everything about me. Goodbye Kron." She walked through the portal with a saddened smile.

As she left leaving behind Kron alone in the room.

Once she left Kron was confused by that last sentence. What was that? For a lot of his life Raven was very Saiyan, sure she liked using tactics that made fights boring and relied on ambushing. But she was still cruel and ready to fight at a moment's notice.

It was a shame that she decided to cut him off.

The door behind him opened.

"Kron?"

The Saiyan turned to see Kali entering his- the guest room.

"Kron? Is everything alright? I thought I heard you talking." Kali asked.

Kron overwhelmed by the last talk he had with Raven and immediately decided to lie.

"It's nothing, I just slipped."

"You did?" Kali walked over to the nine-year-old and looked at his arm.

Kron grunted and pulled away.

"I'm fine."

Her concern still bothered him but he seemed to accept her treatment. "I'm heading to bed, so.."

Kali looked at his recent injury that he had taken to save Blake, she fought the urge to offer help and decided to give him what he wants. "Ok, Kron, just please, don't be afraid to ask for help." She had a gentle smile when saying this.

Kron turned to her and nodded glad she wasn't being so insistent.

Kali walked out of the room and almost closed it.

Kron turned to his bed and struggled as he got into it. He glanced at his door, to see it wasn't really closed. He sighed, she really couldn't leave him along could she.

It was opened enough where she can peek into his room. On the other side Kali smiled and closed it, glad to see that he didn't have such a hard time getting to bed.

Kali walked away glad to see him recovering smoothly and hoping that he can stay.

Kron looked at the ceiling and thought of options.

What should he do?

Going back the Branwen Tribe is now not an option, he supposes it's not a bad thing, he enjoyed his freedom anyway.

First, he needed to stay long enough to recover, hopefully before Ghira comes back.

After that he'll leave.

And then what?

Continue with his goal?

Clear the planet and have it ready for the PTO?

He thought of that, it's what he wanted for four years. Sure he had second thoughts on Raven, and was more welcoming it after she fired lightning at him. But now while he would like another shot at fighting her her, he didn't feel the need to kill her.

Then he thought of his current 'caretaker' Kali. He couldn't imagine ending her, when he tried it wouldn't feel right to him. Made him feel sick in fact.

Hell, even that brat Blake, he didn't want to hurt her either.

It made him sick that somehow, he had gotten weak.

He's ended the lives of dozens maybe hundreds of huntsmen in his life, like any true Saiyan. But now, he couldn't bring himself to even imagine harming either Kali or Blake.

And the life here, while there isn't much fighting given that he's recovering, he's enjoying his life here, for one reason or another.

He thought of her offer. It was ludicrous. Why is tempted? He's a Saiyan, did she do something, is she tricking him?

No. If she wanted to he'd know. He's sure of it.

The Saiyan started to get drowsy and started to drift off to sleep.

Enough first sleep, recover, and then he'll decide next move.

He slept getting used to his comfy bed.

Unlike in the reality we all know Kron had slept through the night with no interruptions.

Kali was helping changing his bandages on his arms.

She looked surprise and smiled at his arms.

"Look at that, your wounds are already healing."

Kron looked at his arms that had been broken, it's true, he still couldn't move his arms right but they should be healed by tomorrow.

"The doctor said you needed a month, maybe you have a strong Aura." She said as she started wrapping his arms in bandages.

Not really it was more genetic than anything.

"I should be healed by tomorrow then."

"I believe that, I'm so happy for you." She said as she finished wrapping bandages around his arms.

"Since I am I don't need these." Kron reasoned as she tried to take them off.

But Kali placed her delicate hand on his wrist, which he couldn't bring himself to push away.

He looked up at Kali who had a stern look on her face.

"Keep these on, just in case."

Like usual Kron tried to fight it.

"I'll be fi-"

Kali pulled his ear again.

"Gahh!" He yelled in pain from the simple action. "Alright, alright, stop!"

The woman let go and smiled.

She placed a hand on her head as he rubbed his head like how Raven did.

"Good, I want you to get better, ok?"

Kron again felt these strange new emotions he wasn't used to and nodded his head.

"Once your healed, I'll take you to place where it's all you can eat, and we'll go to the bookstore where I'll buy any three books you want ok?"

When she said that Kron practically drooled at the thought. And his eyes lit up at the new books he can read, maybe to learn more about Menagerie.

Kali smiled at that finding it cute, but she kept that to herself not wanting to trigger him.

"Alright I'll get some breakfast for you, and remember your manners please."

Kron shook from his stupor and nodded not wishing to have his ear pulled again. Which he can stop, but for some reason he couldn't. Was it a Semblance maybe? She doesn't seem like a fighter if anything she seems like every weakling he's seen.

Once she walked away he sees Blake walk towards him.

He rolled his eyes expecting her to annoy him as usual.

"Kron" Blake began. "Are you ok?"

The Saiyan shrugged.

"I've had worse." Kron said and starting to walk away.

"Wait"

He sighed and glanced at her.

Blake gave a friendly smile. "Thank you again for saving me."

Kron was surprised that she wasn't annoying again, maybe he should save her more often.

"Your welcome, now I'm going to go read." He said walking away.

Blake looked sad at how she was being brushed off.

"Wait, one more thing."

Kron turned to her with an indifferent look.

Blake looked shyly at Kron, pressing her fingers together.

"Can you show me that trick you did at the beach?"

Kron was surprised to hear that, he looked at her and sees her eyes. It reminded him back on planet Vegeta when Saiyans were impressed by his skill of manipulating his Ki into shapes. Few Saiyans though.

The Saiyan liked the attention like his father, as much as he hated to admit it.

Kron sat down and looked at Blake.

She sat down and smiled.

He held his hands, red light showed in his hands. They took shape.

One Ki orb separated into three shapes.

Small beowolves.

And the other took the shape of himself as a young child.

Kron manipulated his Ki shapes to fight, one of his usual fights with multiple beowolves he grew up with.

Blake smailed and watched with fascination, enjoying the show.

Kron sees this and couldn't help but smirk a bit, enjoying the attention.

His ki that has been used for bloodshed was now being used to entertain. Like back on Planet Vegeta.

But he enjoyed it this time. He used to do it to take anything other Saiyans are willing to give for he and his father's survival. His mother Elery only gave them protection from others and all the credits she earned was used for herself, and he and his father were allowed to live with her if they provided enough earnings for her to enjoy, minus whatever they need for food and water.

This time it was done out of choice, and he thrives with the attention.

Staying here really wasn't so bad.

Still, he doubts he will have long.

He frowned thinking that as Blake enjoyed the show he provided.

The next day had came.

Kron had recovered, he had gotten out of bed and removed his bandages.

It was time, he can leave now.

Kron looked around his room, it was filled with books, books he hadn't finished.

He wanted to take them with him, but he thought it'd be better to leave them here. She's done enough for him.

Kron walked out of his room, it was early morning and he was going to leave before either Kali or Blake had woken.

But once he had, he noticed an unfamiliar smell, and two people talking.

In the living room was Kali and a large brutish man. One he's seen pictures of him.

Kali turned and smiled seeing Kron.

The large man looked at him and looked surprised.

Kron can see that this man recognized him.

Kali came to him and looked at his arms. "Kron, your bandages are all gone!" She yelled looking at his arms. "I told you to wait for me to take them off."

Kron as usual sighed from her treatment.

"I'm fine, I'm fine look." He explained showing him his arms, no injuries were brought on him.

Kali seemed to stop her incessant mothering and smiled. Glad to see that the boy under her care was alright.

Kron didn't look at her though, he looked at the man who was staring at him and not in a friendly way.

Kali pulled away not recognizing the tension and put a hand on Kron's shoulder.

"I'm happy that your awake, I think you need to meet my husband."

She still had no idea who he was.

Ghira looked at the boy and recognized him. He was here, in his home while he was dealing with the Branwen Tribe's actions.

Kali smiled as she looked at her husband. "Ghira this is the boy I-" She stopped when she looked at his face. "Ghira? Are you alright? What's wrong?"

Ghira shook his head.

"Kali get away from him now?"

"What?" Kali asked. "Why?" As the poor woman looked at her husband confused she kept asking. "Ghira what's wrong I don't-"

Before she finished her sentence Kron vanished and appeared in front of Ghira without her being fast enough to see.

Ghira was, barely though. He was so fast for someone so young.

Kron looked up at Ghira, he's way bigger than the picutres showed. As big as Hazel he believed. He sees no weapon on him but can tell he can fight, he also fights with no weapon.

It'd be fun to fight him.

"Kali, take Blake and run." Ghira stated as he bared his fangs.

Kron glanced back at Kali who seemed confused and worried. He wanted to fight the panter Faunus.

But seeing her face somehow made him rethink what he wanted.

The Saiyan sighed, he truly had gotten soft.

He looked up at Ghira and said.

"She found me and treated my injuries." Kron said to Ghira and turned to the door. "I'm leaving now, so don't worry, I'll get off the island."

Kali heard that and she shook her head.

"Kron? Wait."

Kron felt effected by that voice but he knew it wouldn't end well.

Ghira wasn't sure what to do, he wanted to stop him. But here? In his own house? He couldn't bring himself to endanger his wife and child. He had to let him go for their sake.

As Kron opened the door a hand grabbed his shoulder, a small delicate hand that definitely wasn't Ghira's.

Kron turned to see Kali looking at him with a sad look.

"Please, just wait."

"Stay away from him Kali!" Ghira yelled as he stepped forward.

As he did Kali held an arm up.

"Ghira stop now!" Kali yelled at him causing him to do so.

In this situation Ghira would have attacked regaurdless thinking his wife was being manipulated. But for what purpose? The Moneky Faunus was so close to Kali, if he was ruthless as believed he would have taken her hostage.

"Please" Kali looked at her husband and back at Kron.

"Before anything else, let's talk."

Ghira can see that she wasn't going to budge and surprisingly sees that Kron again is not putting her in danger.

Kron was about to turn but Kali's hand became firm whoch caught his attention.

"Please, Kron don't leave."

Kron looked at Kali, and at Ghira who was still tense from seeing him so close to her.

Might as well, he'll leave after this.

Kron had sat in the living room along with Ghira and Kali.

They had to explain everything, Kron's involvement with the Branwen tribe.

Kali had listened and looked at Kron.

"So, you were a part of the Branwen Tribe?" Kali asked looking at Kron with a saddened face. "I, that's quet a surprise."

It affected him more than he wanted to admit.

Kron had stood up and once again was going to head for the door.

"So, were done now right?"

Kali looked at him.

"Kron"

The Saiyan was starting to walk towards the exit.

Kali looked at Ghira, she didn't want him to go.

Ghira thought he might as well try.

"Kron"

This time it was Ghira who had said it.

In surprise Kron turned to him with curiosity.

Ghira walked forward while glancing at Kali and was in front of the 'Monkey Faunus.'

"I'd like to offer you an alternative." Ghira said. "Will you come with me and divulge all information concerning Raven Branwen."

Kron remembered how she told him to tell him everything he knows.

"If you do we" He looked at Kali, he knows what she wants but she can't promise anything. "We'll work something out, help you get a fresh start."

Kron looked at Ghira and at Kali. "And where would we go? Going to lock me up in a cage."

He would have but given what he had been told he shook his head.

"You have saved my daughter, I am in your debt." He glanced at Kali and turned to Kron. "I don't think I can allow you to stay, but I will arrange a place to stay for you until… we figure everything out."

Kron looked at him not even tempted by the offer.

But then he remembered where he was. On an island away from the four kingdoms. Strong as he is, he's not strong enough to fly across oceans even after his current Zenkai.

He needed to consider his options

"How would this work?"

"I will arrange for a home to be built where you can be monitored-"

"Ghira"

Ghira turned to his wife who walked towards Kron.

"Kali, please this is the best I can do." He stated seeing her face. "And I will ensure you can visit him at any time."

Kali didn't like the sound of it, but she understood, honestly it was better than she can expect. She looked at Kron.

She can tell he didn't like the sound of it.

So, Kali walked up to him and kneeled to his level.

"Kron, this, is a lot to take in." Kali said to him. "But I won't abandon you, will you please accept this? I promise to visit and help you find your place here."

Kron looked at her strangely.

"You know what I've done and you still want to help me?" Kron asked confused.

"I'll admit, I, haven't processed everything." Kali admitted while looking away. "But I know that there's good in you, please? Will you accept?"

She wanted to avoid a fight.

Kron thought of his options.

He had none.

He was on Menagerie Island with no way out. Sure he could force someone with a boat to take him to one of the continents.

But would they let him leave? Does this island have some security?

Ugh, he wished he was strong enough to fly across oceans.

"I accept"

Kali smiled glad to see that he had agreed.

"Come with me, we need to talk."

Kron had left with Ghira while Kali looked worriedly as they walked away.

It had been days since Kron's deal with Ghira.

Unlike in the reality we all know instead of a jail cell he was placed in a house where guards surrounded it.

He didn't like the situation, he can break out, but he didn't need to. He didn't want to cause Kali anymore to discomfort than he had already after discovering his identity.

Once he was done with telling him everything, he'll find a boat and hitch a ride on it, then he'll figure something out.

Preparing for Raven wasn't necessary, she had taken him to this island to be healed. Though she had more or less ditched him here she at least made it clear she wasn't interested in making him an enemy. She did go through the trouble of saving him.

Saving him would have been a waste since he didn't rejoin the tribe. So why give up on that?

Not that it mattered, one things for sure.

He knew she was strong and so he had a goal to get stronger and challenge her to rematch.

Though it was no longer to kill, he had no reason to do that even if she would kill her if he tracked her down. But rather because she was strong.

That was enough to entice him to look for her.

But then what?

That was something he couldn't figure out.

"You have a visitor." A guard said as he opened a door.

Kron turned not to his surprise to see Kali.

"Kron, are you ok?"

The Saiyan looked around the accommodations. "I'm fine Kali, relax."

Kali had a saddened look and knelt to Kron.

"Kron listen to me, I know this is hard, but give me some time, I'm sure I can convince Ghira to allow you to live with us, like I promised."

Kron sighed.

"Why would you want that? You know I don't belong here."

Kali shook her head.

"I know you've done wrong, you've made mistakes." She said. "But in the time I've gotten to know you, I care for you, I- I want to be there for you. Me and Blake both do."

Kron kept a blank face when he heard that, he still wasn't used to this.

He was supposed to be planning to leave but somehow, she was affecting him. Something about her persistence made him want to stay.

He sighed.

"Kali, Ghira won't allow it, you know that. Just leave me be." He said to her. "You don't need to visit anymore." He'll be stealing a boat the moment he get's to.

Kali looked saddened hearing that but kept going.

"Kron please, will you just give me some time?" Kali asked and smiled. "I found this book, called Artemis of the Bear Faunus tribe, sounds like something that you'd be interested in?"

She was tempting him with books. And in addition with her plea it was working.

"Alright, fine, besides I don't know when Ghira will be done."

"And if I can convince him, will you stay?"

Kron thought of that and thought of the alternative. Menagerie is away from the four kingdoms, harder to get into even if the Crown decide to attack him.

A safe place to train for a while. He had nowhere else to go.

And, he had a feeling that it'd be nice to stay with them if he could.

"If you can convince Ghira, then ok, I'll stay." He doubts it would happen.

Kali hugged him on the spot, much to his annoyance.

"Thank you Kron, I promise, you won't regret it?"

Kron thought of that possibility, he doubts it will happen. And isn't sure that Ghira will keep his word.

But if she's as persistent as latching on to a Saiyan, then he supposes it's possible.

Maybe he can stay.

And even if he can't, one thing was for sure.

He won't be purging Remnant, not if it meant hurting her.

Little did Kron know he would have a life he would have enjoyed more than the reality we all know.

The screen fades to black.

"Well this seems like a happy start." Fu said smiling and sighed. "Gotta say I feel better after watching the last one, speaking of."

He pulled up four scrolls.

"Alright so, the same deal as last time, you guys vote for the next timeline we'll watch, since Options C had 0 votes I'll shelve it and offer it up again later, so here are your options!"

"Option A: What if Kron never met Kali?" Fu showed and smiled. "So if you guys wanna go back to our first visited alternate timeline, feel free to choose this."

"Option B: What if Kron stayed with the Belladonnas Part 2?" Fu introduced. "If you guys wanna continue the happy timeling let me know!"

"Option C: What if Kron's pod landed near Atlas?" Fu exclaimed. "Ever thought of what would happen if Kron landed near the strongest Kingdom without Raven but the possibility of dealing with the Atlas military instead of the Branwen Tribe? Can he change for the better or is Atlas going to be Kron's first conquest?

"Option D: What if Kron stayed with the Branwen Tribe?" Fu exclaimed. "I know this got 0 votes and thought of offering something else, but I need time to find more scrolls of these timelines, so be patient, all right, if this get's 0 votes again, I'll swap it for another timeline."

Once Fu placed all the scrolls on the table he looked at the camera.

"Alright boys and girls, same deal as last time, now this time I'll go looking for more time scrolls, vote for the options here while I look for more timelines for us to watch."

"Thanks for your time!" He yelled and vanished.

So I know we didn't get to Kron growing up in the Belladonnas but that'll be covered in the next chapter.

It's just I didn't want to summarize Kron's progress and decided it needed another chapter to show his upbringing. And this is the first part.

I forgot to say, the first chapter of every What if will always be shorter than the rest, because we are focusing on the differences between this reality and the one we know.

I hope you enjoyed how Kron is going through with his new situation and you gotta think, if only Raven had seen exactly how Kron is opening up to Kali. Raven knew how risky her plan was but failed to see how close he had gotten with the Belladonnas.

The next part will show how Kron will be with the Belladonnas and him growing up the same age as Kron Prime.

Yes, our Kron in One's Own Path will be called Kron Prime.

And remember, part 2 will be longer so don't worry.

And u got other options.

I apparently forgot to mention, you have until 7 days to vote, a week after this chapter is posted, the votes will close and I will dedicate myself to whichever you guys pick.

I would love to have review responses but sadly I'm tired, as I said I was overwhelmed with work so I'll just leave it at that and talk to u guys in the next chapter hope that's ok.

I hope u enjoyed this and can understand why the next chapter of Own Path is pushed back by another week.

Have an awesome day!
