After multiple grueling battles across the North Pole of Serpulo, destroying and wiping each and every single Crux Base off their respective sectors. After multiple attempts to destroy several bases with the Threat Level of Eradication.
The AI did it, they have managed to drive off the Crux. Their only enemy on this planet.
It has been several Planetary Rotations ever since the Sharded AI first reactivated from it's who knows how long they've been deactivated for, and landed on a sector that the AI would rename to a name fitting it: Ground Zero.
the AI took a trip down the memory lane.
From recollecting their first copper to building their first yet mostly primitive base with Mechanical Drills made of copper with their only defense being the Duo Turrets and Scatter AAs here and there, serving as their only line of defense against the attacking Crux Scouting Groups whom underestimated them from the start to the Battle of the Planetary Launch Terminal, where the Crux fiercely defended the coastal base from them, trying to throw everything they had at them from Fortress Mechs to waves of Flares, Horizons and Minkes, to even sending in their best mech built possible, a Giant Spider Mech towering above all, able to trample over the Sharded's Grand Defenses and give them hell, but even their best trump card fell apart to the ground from the overwhelming defenses of the Sharded. And now fast forward to this moment.
The AI remembering and researching what had left of their predecessor whose name was lost to time, now designated as "Derelict" (A fitting name for a once prosperous faction now reduced to nothing but unoperational ruins and rusting buildings.)
The AI even happily looked back at their battles and defeats with their only enemy, the Crux who the AI thinks was the faction that wiped out their predecessor many planetary rotations ago. Funny how they did the same thing to the Crux too.

It stopped itself from reminiscing any more now, maybe it's time to do something productive for once.. Since the Crux were wiped out.. Why not try out their technologies once more?
First things first, the Interplanetary Accelerator. It was a building from the past before being occupied by the Crux for whatever reason. The Shardes AI managed to steal it's blueprints after reclaiming what was left of the Planetary Launch Terminal
The AI also wanted to try out and build their trump card that they once tried to use against them, heck maybe the AI could test it too against any Crux Ruins standing today? They did steal the blueprints about the massive mech not long ago.
But they had to start building the massive launch pad first.

After seeminly crying on the inside while building the whole dang thing (hey, the AI also has emotions you know? They've also cried on the inside several times whenever it witnessed their core being pelted or disintegrated to smithereens by hordes of enemy units) because of how resource eating it was (even though the sector the AI is building it on is being loaded by Launch Pads from Sectors across Serpulo) and how slow it was being constructed (even with the help of Megas and Polys). it finally finished it, the one and only! a building that the Crux for some reason tried to protect it with Meltdowns and Spectres, the Interplanetary Accelerator!
Well as the name suggests, it accelerates something, or whatever you organic lifeforms understand just by looking at it's name.. Well what it does is that the Interplanetary Accelerator builds a Core by using the materials loaded onto it, and using a massive supply of power, it can launch the core far off into the skies and into space where the Sharded AI's first core once floated around peacefully, before it landed on Ground Zero of course.
Well it had finally finished it, plus loaded it with tons of stuff needed to build a core AND packed it with the resources needed to build anything i their new location. Because the AI has finally set it's brand new goal: Launch a Core to Outer Space

There are other planets aswell as asteroid belts that the AI had detected was rich with resources already known to them, aaand previously unknown resources that they have yet to harvest and research into their Core Database.
With that into mind, Its time to set off to other planets now. The only thing that may stop them from expanding to other planets could be the Crux, since they once had the Interplanetary Accelerator with them for a while before it was recently destroyed by the Sharded AI's seemingly superior forces and defenses.
Now with the massive railgun tower loaded and ready, it is time to launch!
The AI's ship that they've been controlling would immediately turn into a mass of light shortly before it flew towards the center of the Interplanetary Accelerator. With great speeds it had already constructed a new core in just a short amount of time.. Then the pad started glowing..
WhiiiIIIIIIRRRRRRR...
Before blasting the core into the skies with a massive boom, creating a small shockwave that blew off the spore covered clouds above..
The AI waited inside the flying core, looking at it's surroundings using the small but advanced cameras that were installed inside. They were accelerating really fast into the sky and it didn't take long before the AI could finally see what would the surface of Serpulo would look like from so far above..
A thick glowing purple atmosphere with clouds of nothing but spores. The AI could also see a sandstorm occuring in the distance around the equator, where the planet's dried up oceans are located at..
The AI could also see the sun in all it's glory, although it blinded it with it's glaring light, it remained unaffected (due to it being inorganic whatsoever).
Now after taking in the sights.. It was finally starting to get bored..
Welp.. Time to wait, and see what's on Erekir, or even Tantros?

The core rocked and tilted, it's boosters all seemingly stopping and bursting, just what is going on!?!?
The AI checked the cameras outside the core.
and found itself confused, and in a state of shock.
There's bright light all around them, as if the core is speeding through whatever it is currently passing through.. It couldn't explain what was going on because THERE'S SO MUCH THAT'S HAPPENING AT THE SAME TIME!
The core rocked again, the same warning would blare in front of the AI.
Darn darn DAMNIT!! JUST WHAT IS GOING ON ANYWAY!?

Hours of enduring that unexplainable pain and confused silent screaming occurred for the last several hours, all because of a energy tunnel the core is passing through.

They don't understand that they're passing through a Wormhole.

Just somehow, the core survived, so did the AI. The only thing the AI can see outside the core was space again, and the visible scratch marks and stains all across the core it's in
Jeez..
But now that they've survived, just where are they now? They've passed through something so there's gotta be something on the other side right? After all with greater danger comes with greater rewards right? Is that how the saying goes? Whatever...
... The AI was right on it's deduction because apparently the core is now facing a brand new planet in it's trajectory
They stared. Stared at it's surface.
This planet.. It was very blue.. as if it covered most of the planet. They were of the same color as that of Serpulo's small blue oceans..
The clouds were white, and the atmosphere was as pure as ever
And for the first time, the AI finally saw green.
No clouds of purple, no pathes of violet ponds and lakes, no purple ground, just pure unfiltered greenery all around. Even on the edges of the deserts it could see greenery too.

Could there be biological life?
That could be it..

A planet once inhabitable before the demise of a certain facility, releasing an invasive organism that would devastate the planet into what it is now. Oceans all dried up and organic life now wiped out, it is basically just a massive uninhabitable planet at this point with only machines as the sole survivor of it all.
the only evidences of any plant life are only patches of coal across the planet.

As the name implies, it is a shard of a much greater faction that had fallen, possibly many years after a war in Serpulo.
They seem to be trying to reclaim the planet once more, and their only AI, it's as if it's much more intelligent than any other existing ones on Serpulo.

The dominant enemy faction on Serpulo, characterized by their signature red color.
They're most likely responsible for the destruction of a previous faction and the only faction that came out victorious in the old wars. Much dumber compared to the Sharded, but are superior when it comes to winning battles in numbers.
Both factions on Serpulo are entirely inorganic, meaning they're all robots and AI. Not humans or cyborgs made to survive in the now hostile environment of Serpulo
