Doctor 1: OROCHIMARU Sama t-t-the last test child survived the project.

One of the key leading researchers informed Oruchimaru, the founder and creator of the current project, a living weapon of mass destruction as he staggered while addressing the progress out of fear.

Orochimaru: What? The last test subject child is still stable and alive. Then it means it's a success hence we can re-create the ultimate shinobi army.

The snake-like man assumed it was a successful experiment. As out of 500 children one 1 survived which was no less than a miracle. He fanatically reads the reports to make sure nothing bad happens to his creation.

???: Is it alive? Orochimaru?

A familiar old voice echoed in the vaste experiment lab which belonged to the bandage wrapped old man; he inquired in his neutral yet cold tone expecting some result, a good one on that.

The tall snake feature man didn't speak immediately as he was contemplating the arrival of his backer or the person funding him.

Orochimaru: Danzo, Although he is alive, whether he is awake or not is a different matter.

He explains without holding back otherwise the cunning old man might cancel his precious research for immortality. Hearing him out Danzo expression did not change and he attempts to detect the chakra level of the experimental subject.

Danzo: It's enormous for an 8 year old boy. He has the reserve of a Jonin at this young age, he might be the perfect weapon….. Can we mass produce him?

Out of his curiosity the old man asked, he was surprised by what he found in the young boy. It was the first time something went good for him apart from being a leader of a root organization.

Orochimaru smiled hearing such a question but didn't answer instead glare at his subordinate to respond on his behalf.

Researcher 2: Lord Danzo, it's impossible now all our resources have been depleted as well as all the assets for these experiments.

Danzo: Dam it, Orochimaru. Nevertheless I will be taking him. I need

some good weapons for the sake of the village.

He cursed as he was not pleased and did not have spare resources for more production. Moreover no one further explained to him out of fear of death that the is no chance of mass production due to low survival possibility.

Orochimaru: I never thought there would be a survivor at all. But there is so you can have it but in exchange you know you have to support me for the Hokage position.

Danzo: Hmm, I will. You don't need to remind me. Although the election would be hard and there is no guarantee for now.

Their conversation carries on henceforth, related to various subjects, majorly about their interest for a long time till both of them were satisfied with each other's reasoning. There was no one apart from the test subject with them.

As they were talking loudly, the test subject was quietly hearing them out. Although he was in deep sleep/paralysis hence couldn't react however his mind was active and was able to understand them words by words.

Danzo: So what should we name him?

Old man inquired, he wanted to have a codename to the unname subject as it soon will be in his care if alive. It was evident that the person's well-being was a matter of significance to them.

Orochimaru: Yes, I had a name for him and whenever the name is said he reacts to it.

Orochimaru, known for his cunning and experimental prowess, spoke up, revealing that he had already chosen a name for the individual. He explained that whenever this name was uttered, a reaction could be observed.

Danzo, intrigued, sought clarification about the nature of the response. Was the person merely paralyzed, or was there more to it?

Danzo: Wait, how does he react to it? You said he will stay paralyzed for a while?

Orochimaru: Don't know how but he reacts. Why won't I demonstrate it to you myself? Ryujin!

With an air of mystery, Orochimaru suggested demonstrating the peculiar reaction firsthand. He called out abruptly. The sudden exclamation left Danzo surprised, his expression reflecting a mix of anticipation and uncertainty.

Danzo: !!? So does it mean he can hear and understand us but he is physically paralyzed? How long do you think it will take for him to restore his body?

Danzo inquired, trying to comprehend the intricacies of the situation. Orochimaru, ever enigmatic, admitted not knowing the hows and whys but affirmed the observable reaction. The prospect of the person regaining their body remained uncertain, leaving Danzo with a sense of cautious acceptance.

Orochimaru: NO clue, day, month, years?

Danzo: ……So I have to wait then, Very well. Now you can focus on the wood release experiment.

Danzo conceded, acknowledging the unpredictable timeline ahead. He swiftly redirected the conversation, instructing Orochimaru to focus on the wood release experiment, highlighting the urgency of their other endeavors.

Orochimaru: Yes, I will. How will you ship him in root Anbu?

Danzo: That's my worry, you keep doing what I told you.

Orochimaru, committed to his tasks, agreed to the directive. The conversation shifted to the logistics of transporting the mysterious individual, with Danzo expressing concern about the secure involvement of the Root Anbu. It was a moment of strategic planning, a glimpse into the complex web of intrigue and experimentation orchestrated by Danzo's calculated leadership.
