I am not interested in getting on a plane. The only type of flying I ever want to do is the flight I am capable of with my own wings Mary, the mother of Tom, said.

Tom just nodded as he left his mother who then saw that Katharine was at the end of the hallway seeming waiting for him to tell her everything.

Yup as I got her approval to come even though she decided to stay here. What about you as your dad was coming but he decided to stay as well Tom asked her.

He is trusting us to Hudson overall since he seemingly going there as everyone's guardian Kat told him

Is it really alright for him, Goliath, and Demona to all be absent from the castle though Tom wondered.

It should be just fine as that is why Katharine's father and your mother are staying behind. They will be looking after the castle for us Hudson told them as he happened to be nearby and others heard them talking.

I would how gladly stay behind and allow Malcom to take my place. He rejected that offer claiming that the trip was to visit the friends Goliath and Demona made in Japan. I should go with them instead he told them.

The two were then told to finish getting ready to leave as they were not leaving any time today but they would be leaving for the airport immediately after sunset tomorrow so they needed to prepare now.

Okay both of them reply as they run off to finish their own packing.

Continuing through the castle he was going to just relax and watch some TV when he noticed Demona looking at one of her arms which seemed to have a chain wrapped around it.

No idea as I just woke up and it was around my wrist already. We are thinking that might have something to do with Puck as I was told that I was calling out for him last night she said

Explaining that all last night was blank in her memories as she could not recall anything that happened until right before the sun came up that day.

Thinking that if the straight magical way was not getting them no where then working together to Senku to look at things from a different angle might be helpful.

Just like that, the night continued onward as everyone that was leaving at sunset tomorrow was finishing up getting ready while those that were staying behind were staying behind were making their own plans.

Broadway, Lexington, and Brooklyn were originally going to go with them but something happened and the three of them were no longer being allowed to head to Japan with them anymore.

Bronx also was not going anymore either as they did not find a flight that would allow pets as large as him to travel with them on the same plane at least. Not feeling right about having him fly separately it was just decided that he would be staying in Castle Wyern instead.

Amongst those that were going it was going to be Demona, Goliath, Coldstone, Coldfire, Hudson, Tom, and Katherine.

With their prep done and completed they all were doing whatever they wanted before the sun rose that day and they would be heading out the following night to the airport at sunset.

Demona was up on one of the castle's towers that overlooked the view of the water as the castle sat on a cliff that had a beach that led to a large body of water below it.

She was looking at the horizon as she held up her arm that had the chain around it.

As the sun began to rise over the horizon and she started to turn to stone for the day it seemed Demona was trying to see if the chain turned to stone along with her. Something that is considered a gargoyles would also turn to stone along with them.

Thus the gargoyle was testing out this method to see if she could tell or not if that were the case. She was not able to notice as she turned to stone before she could catch just the briefest of glimpses to see if that was the case.

Although Demona was not able to tell if the chain turned to stone alongside her. That indeed happened to be the case as she stood there as a stone statue with the chain also have turned to stone as well.

Cementing the fact that she did see this chain as part of her clothing and/or accessory. Which she would eventually find strange as she did not even know of its origin. Thus would be shocked to discover that does change with her all the time. This would not be made clear though until she gets to Japan and Senku helps her out in learning this.

When the sun sets the group that is heading to Japan then goes towards the airport.
