Magical Adventure
Arc 1
Reincarnating into a magical world like AQW Lore was supposed to be a blessing for me.
Unfortunately, I found myself in a children's show.
A girl's kids' show.
I'm really tempted to stick a fork in an outlet once I found out where I was as a baby.
The planet of Magix is perhaps the biggest melting pot in the magical dimension of the Winx universe. It hosts all kinds of Magical humanoids to various sentient magical creatures.
My new name is Owen Lenox, only child of a horny and newly wed student couple from Alfea and Red Fountain.
This is why you use protection.
My mom is your typical bubbly fairy. She came from planet Melody, a realm of music. Her name is Hailey Harmonica.
I'm so glad my dad married her or else I'd be wearing Harmonica as my last name.
Meanwhile, Dad is your typical bad boy and flirtatious Red Fountain Specialist.
Richard Lenox.
Both of them met each other in their school years and started dating but at the end of their schooling, things got a little too steamy and I popped out of Mom.
They were 19 when they had me.
Please use protection once again.
Of course, what they did wasn't planned and was an accident, but they decided to get married anyway.
They also decided to stay in Magix to support themselves.
Mom works in a music studio while Dad works at Red Fountain.
Growing up with them is...
...
...
...
...
...
Different.
They are so loving, caring and spoiling me rotten.
It's too disconcerting for me.
As I grew up as a child, people thought I was just and shy and quiet but incredibly smart for my age.
Too responsible and independent.
They didn't suspected anything suspicious about it. Instead, they are proud that I have their best traits combined.
Even so, it doesn't mean I didn't bond with them. It just feels strange to call them my parents when I'm me.
Music and practicing instruments with my mom is how I bonded with her. Music wasn't really a huge part of my first life, but I was interested in it.
I just never had the chance to act on it.
Although its very distracting how ecstatic she is every time I make a new song.
(i.e. plagiarizing songs that have yet to come out)
She even sometimes too me to her studio to record some of the songs I plagia- ahem, made.
Of course, Dad became jealous of our bonding time, but he would never admit it. So he arranged for us to have a sparring match, much to Mom's chagrin.
I made him cry that day.
Even in another life, you can never forget experience and the combat mindset.
Dad's stance is too weak, his sword (a wooden one) is held too high while his opponent is just waist high. Attacking his knees was too easy. I just fainted to attack his left side upwards because he is right-handed. The moment he began the motions to defend, raising the flat of his sword to his side in order to parry or redirect an attack, I switched targets.
He stumbled in one knee, his injured knee getting hit at the back. I then took the kill, using his own knee to springboard myself to his face.
Face meets knee.
A broken nose is a result.
Mom's cry of surprise made me realize that I had gone too far. It was blur after that, but I found myself in a hospital while doctors fixed Dad's nose. Mom was waiting with me.
She isn't angry at me, to my surprise. She blames Dad for what happened to him.
Too soft.
After the doctors fixed him, Dad greeted us as good as new without a broken nose.
Sometimes, magic in this place terrifies me.
Confrontating Dad, I tried to apologize.
It didn't work.
Instead, Dad was just too proud of what I did, and so was Mom. In their minds, I just cemented how I had both of their talents.
A warrior and a musician.
This world is far more insane than AQW Lore.
After that incident, Dad regularly trains me every day together with my education.
That's when the problem came out.
I was too advanced.
I'm the one who is teaching him instead of teaching me how to fight. That's how vast our difference was.
If I compared it to something, he would be akin to a B-rank adventurer. Fit enough to fight in a boss fight. Me, however, I would be an A-rank adventurer, fit for major fights like Void Highlords, Legion Revenants, and other high-end classes in lore.
I can't fight Ultra bosses yet in my current age.
Seeing my talents, Dad decided to enroll me to Red Fountain at 10 years old. At first, they didn't accept it. They can't train children in that age so early, it would be immoral.
So I just beat them up. To clarify, I challenged the Headmaster.
He accepted in order to teach me humility.
The old man was tough. I would say he was on the level of Division Zero (Guild Founding members).
It was a very tough battle. The old man specialized in magic, forcing me to play keep away from him. He was also fast enough to react whenever I used Flashstep to close our distance. He teleported away or blasted my landing sight, forcing me to defend.
With no way to get close, I tapped into my magic.
Magic in this universe is weird. Especially in my case.
It felt too primal and ancient to harness it.
Ice erupted, creating deadly walls of sharp icicles towards the old man. But with one simple gesture, he parted the wave of icy death like a trueborn Cryomancer.
Which totally worked according to my plan.
Ice shattered into millions of pieces around him, before darting towards him. Surprised and trapped, the aging man created a circular shield around him. Seconds later as Ice pelted the shield, a wave of heat came from the shield, melting every single icicle he controlled and turning them into puddles of water.
Just as planned.
A tendril of water snag his foot before throwing him in the air. He recovered of course and landed safely on his feet despite his old age.
But my blade is already at his throat at that point.
" Checkmate."
Instead of a look of defeat, the old man smiled before gesturing behind me. I then used my blade as a mirror to see what was behind me, keeping it on his throat.
There was a sneaky little orb of light just behind my head, out of my peripherals.
It was tiny, as small as a ping pong ball, yet I could feel that if it attacked me, I would be hurt badly.
"Draw?" I said after a few seconds.
"Draw it," Headmaster Saladin hummed.
"You're quite talented for a young man. Who taught you, and don't lie. I know for a fact that Richard isn't gifted in magic, and dear Hailey is too spirited to teach you." He inquired.
So I told him the truth.
" Myself."
My simple answer made the old Headmaster burst into laughter.
He accepted me shortly after.
In Red Fountain, I really didn't need to study much. Combat and magic were already in my veins. Instead, I focused on research and magic development to recreate the things I had once in AQW Lore.
Headmaster Saladin allowed it, of course. I was just too advanced compared to the rest of the students.
In my research, my first achievement was recreating the forge enhancements. It took great effort and a lot of specialized tools, but it worked. All weapon and armor enhancements are now in my grasp.
Upon the discovery of my results, Headmaster Saladin forbade me from releasing my research. I agree with him; the forge enhancements are just too powerful and in the wrong hands, we could have another Dark lord rising.
While in the Red Fountain, I also gained access to Earth, my original world.
So from time to time, I go to Earth and bring back contraband items (in Saladin's words) for entertainment.
My research also covers why magic in this universe feels too powerful and primal.
I discovered something I shouldn't have.
The Elemental planes of the Elemental Avatars are neighboring this universe.
Unlike in AQW, to enter the Elemental planes, there are only 2 ways.
One must get permission and passage from the Elemental Avatar himself/herself.
Two, Brute force a portal leading to the Elemental planes.
These two conditions are the reason why the Elemental planes are so guarded and dangerous.
One cannot simply walk into it.
But in Magix, you can drive a ship towards it.
Elemental planes are just a few light-years away, but they are also deemed too dangerous, as the primal energies of each plane will destroy any invaders.
Except for me.
I entered those planes on a summer vacation of mine. I tricked Mom and Dad into going on a date vacation for the two of them while I went on a research vacation. They sure didn't like it, but I managed to persuade them to the idea.
One borrowed ship later, I was off to the Elemental planes.
Imagine my surprise when I suddenly found myself on the Firmament, the meeting place of all Elemental Avatars.
We greet the Eternal Champion of Time and his Servant.
The giant forms of the Elemental Gods boomed, looming over me as they greeted me.
Then my tenant took offense to what they said.
I'm no mere servant!!!
Kathool appeared, the once Chaos Beast turned Eternal God of the Depths of Mind. His titanic form was tiny compared to the gigantic titans surrounding us, but he was still a match for them. Noticeably, his tentacles were guarding him. It made me realize;
He read their minds and found something dangerous.
And yet you served the Eternal.
Because the Eternal is the Ultimate existence.
Kathool bit back to VoidStar, reminding him of his place.
Brother, stop bothering his envoys. We are here not to fight but to talk.
That got my attention.
The Elemental Avatars do not simply talk. They are territorial and protective of their domains.
"What's the problem?" I asked, straight to the point. For them to talk to me directly means that something is actually threatening them.
It was Kyanos who spoke.
Its been a few million years since we met and its a pleasure to meet you again
I nodded back to the Avatar of Ice in respect.
But things changed. VoidStar, tell him of your mistake.
I looked at VoidStar, the Avatar of Darkness. The roo of all evil factions and entities in Lore but do not mistake him as evil. VoidStar is anything but evil.
Because the Avatars are beyond Good and Evil. Good and Evil is merely a human concept. Higher Beings do not conform to such things.
It happened many million years ago, at the end of your Era. Tired in seeing my Champions, my children in essence, die in the cruel curse of time, I sought to create a child of my own. A child whom I would have as a Champion.
But in my folly, I made a grave mistake.
I used Artix's essence, my greatest champion of Darkness but Artix never used my gift. Afraid that this child would end like him, I asked my sister of her Champion's essence.
Empress Gravelyn's essence's
By Grimskulls rotten balls! Did he just made a love-child of Artix and Gravelyn?!
But there was an unforeseen results.
Celeritas then continued VoidStars Tale.
We underestimated my Champion's ego in her essence, she dominated Artix's essence and assimilated in her.
This child of Darkness came out as Darkar.
Celeritas ended to which VoidStar continued.
This child of mine is Pure Evil.
She's not that bad.
She wants to eclipse everything to darkness and claim every single realm, dimension and timeline in total Darkness!!!
I never knew an Avatar could look so sheepish without a face. Celeritas and VoidStar really fucked this one.
" And you want me to stop her?"
Yes and she has a plan for it.
She wants to consume the Eternal Dragon.
Oooooooooh, that's bad.
But she can't defeat the Eternal Dragon with her own powers yet. So she went to the realms you are in to consume the Dragon Flame, a power from a Great Dragon God in your new realm.
" And by consuming another Dragon's essence, she can go toe to toe with the Eternal Dragon." I summarized.
This is bad. The plan itself won't work 100% because no one really knows how strong the Eternal Dragon was. But the chances is high, only a Dragon can defeat another Dragon and Galanoth had proven this before.
That foolish child, she already destroyed the realm which is hiding the Dragon flame but is unsuccessful in acquiring it.
Heed our words, Hero of the Eternal Dragon, would you accept this quest in defeating my foolish daughter of mine?
The answer is obvious.
My return to Magix was uneventful after that. Now, I need to look out for any Dark Lord rumors in addition to my research, which is a hassle.
Sheesh, Gravelyn really knows how to drive a guy to work even after death.
I then almost had an aneurysm when my mother called me to tell me that she is now pregnant.
They forgot to wear protection. Again.
My graduation came early when I hit 16 years old.
By then, I made a lot of changes.
First, I introduced Magix to the Principles of Nen and its application to magic. This thesis actually made a lot of noise in the magic community and of course at Red Fountain.
I was hailed a child genius due to this achievement in magical research.
So much so that Principal Faragonda wanted me to teach in her school to prove my thesis. I accepted out of boredom and for those juicy resources.
So here I am at Alfea School of Fairies as one of their professors at 16 years old only.
I teach combat and self-defense.
As I looked at the female students trickling into the school for a new year, I was then reminded of one cruel fact.
" Alfea School of Fairies! Princess Stella of Solaria is Here!"
Oh my God! I have to deal with her for a year!
I really forgot the show's plot at this point but fuck! I had to deal with this spoiled princess for a year?!
End for now
This is an alternate timeline of Malgor's reincarnation.
