"Radio Killed the Video Star"
Everyone was in the lobby after hearing the news of the new extermination Luke was petting Charlie's pet "Okay. So the extermination is coming in six months instead of a year. No big deal. Just a little setback. Nothing we can't handle. Just angels cutting our timetable in half. But who needs a whole year to save souls?" Charlie pondered the question herself.
She began acting manically "Am I right?" And next time, when they cut the time in half again and again, we'll just handle it, right?!" Charlie nearly freak out.
Vaggie grabbed her arms "Yes we will." she said.
"I have full faith in you princess." Luke said.
"Oh, please, ya had less than half a chance when you started all this salvation bullshit. And now... Ain't no silver lining this time toots." Angel said.
"Sure, there is. We just have to look a little harder for it." Charlie said.
"Well, while you're lookin, the rest of Hell is going nuts." Angel said.
He showed them his phone "People are already freaking out about the news. Look at what's happening in the Doomdays District." Angel said.
"Err, what is a 'donkey show'"? Charlie asked.
Angel nearly freak out "Aah, heh, nothing. My boss, Val is just freaked out about the news, too." Angel said.
"Author of this story doesn't like the Vees finding them crazy." Luke said.
"Like I said everyone's losing their shit." Angel said, ignoring Luke's words.
"Yeah, that's true. Sinners are desperate. Maybe desperate enough to try anything to escape the extermination?" Vaggie suggested.
Charlie gasps "This is the perfect time to recruit more sinners for the hotel!"
"Cute idea and all, but you really going to go out in all of this?" Angel asked.
"Well, it's not like people are just going to show up on our doorstep." Charlie said.
Luke shouted "Charlie! Vaggie! Get down!"
He pushed the two to the ground shielding them from a explosion. Sir Pentious dramatically shouted "Show yourself, Alastor!"
"Come and face-" he stopped himself and saw Alastor on a balcony "Oh, there you are..." he said.
"Face my wrath!" he exclaimed.
"Who are you?" both Luke and Alastor asked.
"Who am I? he asked twice.
"I am the great Sir Pentious! Inventor, architect of destruction, villain extraordinaire." Sir Pentious said.
"Woo! You tell 'em, boss." an Egg boy said.
Niffty appeared on Alastor "Ooh, he's a bad boy." she said.
Alastor put Niffty in the ground "Huh, well if all that's true you'd think I'd have heard of you." Alastor said.
"I attacked you literally last week." Sir Pentious said.
"I don't recall ever meeting you dude." Luke said.
"You were hired the next day after he attacked." Charlie said.
"Oh." Luke said.
"Silence! Now cower! For when I've slain you, the almighty Vees will finally acknowledge me as their equal!" he said.
"Ooh! Wait, who are the Vees?" Niffty asked.
"Basically, Hell's most dangerous gangsters." Luke said.
The fight ended with Alastor kicking Sir Pentious out of the hotel and having demon workers rebuild the wall Sir Pentious "You alright princess?" Luke asked.
"I'm fine Luke." Charlie said.
6 hours later the three went out to look for new recruit only to return disappointed. Vaggie opened the door after hearing banging and saw Sir Pentious at the door she attacked him and knocked him to the ground "Wait, wait, wait! I come in peace." he said.
"What are you doing here?" Vaggie asked.
"Vaggie what's the problem?" Charlie asked.
She gasp at Sir Pentious sight "Oh, hello again." she said.
"What's going on at the door?" Luke asked.
"I didn't come looking for a fight." Sir Pentious said.
"Oh hey." Luke said.
"I heard that you're helping people. People who want to be better?" Sir Pentious wants to join the hotel.
Charlie gasped "You heard right." she said.
She begins walking him in "Welcome to our home of healing. Our resort of restoration. Our-" she was cut off by Angel.
"Are you fucking nuts? This chump was trying to kill us, like, literally 6 hours ago." Angel said.
"And now you want to bring him in here to live with us?" Angel asked.
"Absolutely! This place is about second chances. And who deserves one more than this... slithery... slippery... special little man." Charlie said.
"Aren't you supposed to protect this place?" Angel asked Vaggie.
"Last I check Charlie is the founder of this hotel so whatever she says Vaggie gotta go by." Luke said.
Vaggie sighed "Luke's right and I guess he's not much of a threat without the war machine or even with the war machine." Vaggie said.
Charlie ran and hugged Vaggie "Oh, thank, thank you, thank you, thank you!" she said.
"Sir Pentious! Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" Charlie said.
"I'll say this I did like your original name the Happy Hotel." Luke said.
Charlie shows Sir Pentious around "So this is the bar and the bartender." Charlie introduced Sir Pentious to Husk.
She show him the curtains and the new wall after he destroyed it Luke pulled Charlie in "You know you don't have to show him every detail right?" Luke asked.
"Sorry, I'm just so excited to have our first real guest!" Charlie said.
"Uh, what the hell am I then?" Angel asked.
"Well, you're an important part of our family here, Angel. But you, um, uh..." Charlie didn't know what to say.
Vaggie spoke up "Constantly makes us look bad, sexually harass the staff, and have literally never once tried to improve?"
"What she means is, it's just nice to have someone interested for once." Charlie said.
"They both got a point Angel you only joined this place to get a free room." Luke said.
Charlie shows Sir Pentious Niffty and Alastor and she introduces him "How to apologize".
She felt it was time for them to get to know each other and also roleplay. "Oh I'm a bad man on the streets who never got enough hugs." Angel read a script.
"Now, where's an innocent kid I can sell crack to?" he continued.
"Wow. Who wrote this?" he broke out of character and asked.
"It's great, right? Keep going." Charlie smiled and urged him to keep going.
"I thought you were a actor?" Luke teased.
"Hey you." Angel said.
"Who, me?" Sir Pentious played.
"Yeah, you look like a kid who could use some devil's dandruff." he read.
"Oh, for fuck's sake." Angel moaned about the script.
"Not me. I have to go home and study." Sir Pentious said.
"Come on kid, it'll make you cool like me... The crack head!" Angel was seriously annoyed at reading this.
Luke laughed "The only cool thing here is to say no to drugs. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to not have sexual intercourse before marriage!" Sir Pentious said.
"Yes! Oh, bravo, bravo!" Charlie said.
Luke did fanfare sounds. "Wow, Pentious, at this rate you'll be redeemed in no time." Charlie said.
Luke and Angel leave the room. Luke got on his phone and read some text messages from an old friend who wants to come visit. Meanwhile Angel caught Pentious spying, the two got into a fight and Pentious was exposed to Charlie and Vaggie. He attempted to contact the Vees to escape but they refused to even help. Charlie still offers him to stay at the hotel which he accepts.
