The titan lurched and rocked with every step.

"The foot!" Called Karagon as all available munitions focused on the descending foot of the titan. A soft joint on the top-heavy titan that had been weakened from the inside out finally gave way under the pressure of the external fire and the heel with the access hatch broke away. Alarms blared onboard the warlord titan as the world of everyone inside began to tip sideways.

"Brace, brace, brace." Rang the alarms before the world rumbled from both within and without as the titan found itself toppled upon its belly amidst the carnage of no man's land. There was a brief pause as the dust settled; then, the titans' weapons exploded into action again, turning the scrap metal landscape around them into a vortex of shrapnel and molten steel. The Red Scorpions began to surge around the weapons whilst the traitors scurried over the top of the titan to sacrifice themselves to the Emperor's weapons of retribution.

Inside, everything was dark but for the spasms and sparks of loose cabling and battery powered; self contained emergency lights.

"Brother Geltus" voxed Sabius. "Status?"

"Alive, but a bit stuck." He replied.

"Where?" Asked Sabius, and a beacon chimed in his helm. "On my way!"

"Stuck are you?" Said Ferrum Umbra. "Just like the corpse of your false emperor." Geltus issued no response but to fire his flamestorm cannon. The traitor laughed as he stepped out of the way of the flames that could not be aimed and hacked the unit off at the limb with his power axe. Geltus gunned his assault drill and swung it at the terminator champion but with his legs tangled he was unable to get enough stability for the blow. Ferrum Umbra laughed again as he hacked away the unit, leaving Geltus unarmed (literally!) Geltus spat hate at the traitor terminator as the power axe bit deep in his sarcophagus.

There was no cry of pain, just silence, then; a new glow entered the room.
