Evergrand High
Battle Field
Today was the day! It was Battle Day in Evergrand High and everyone was excited. The first five pairs were waiting in the wings for their turns, the very first pair was Ash and Paul. Ash and the gang were headed to the Battling Grounds near the gardens, Ash had trained his Pokemon everyday since this event was announced and picked the ultimate team with three of his aces (including Pikachu of course) on the roster.
"Good luck Ashy-boy! I know you'll kick his hide, I've heard the way he treats his Pokemon and it is highly despicable." Gary says a scowl on his face as he pats Ash's shoulder.
Serena smiles giving the boy a hug, "Show him what a real battler can do!"
"After seeing how you best Brandon in the battle frontier, I know you can do it! Paul is not like his father, and should brought down a peg or two." Add in Leaf.
Dawn was looking into his eyes as their friends gave him well wishes for his battle. She had faith that he could beat Paul, when it was her turn she pulled him into a tight embrace tiptoeing as she placed her arms loosely around his neck. He hugged her back slightly lifting her off the ground, taking in her scent.
She whispered her words of encouragement into his ear, "Win this Ash. I've seen you beat tougher trainers, he should be scared. I have faith in you, My Guardian."
His breath hitched as he heard the possessive phrase, he knew he was hers from the moment he dedicated his win in the Silver Conference to her. He wanted to be with her, after this battle he would make her his.
"Thank you for your support. If anything, I'll dedicate this battle to you, My devine diamond." He says cupping her cheek gently.
She nuzzles his hand, absolutely loving the pet name he had given her. She felt her heart flutter, she decided to be bold and kissed his cheek near the corner of his mouth. He placed her down giving her forehead a light peck before walking to the field. Dawn faced their friends who were giving her sly smiles, she flushed ducking her head down in embarrassment.
Leaf began teasing her, "Aw. That was sweet."
"Who knew Ash had it in him?! Haha, you've always been the exception Dawn. You've always been the one to make him do things that he wouldn't normally do. It had been like that since we were kids." Says Gary chuckling at her flushed face.
May giggled placing an arm around the bluenette's shoulder, "I doubt he has no clue how you feel about him. He is not as dense as most guys our age would be after all. And it helps that he's been raised by Delia for most his life, and that his uncle Raily has helped him gain more knowledge in these type of things."
"Anyone who dares to try something against your bond will be in for a ride awakening alright. Ash would never let anyone hurt any of his friends, but... you, Dawn, he'd go through hell and back if you got hurt in any way just as you would move mountains to see him in perfect health. You are meant to be together." Serena says with conviction.
Dawn smiled with confidence not even doubting that Ash returned her feelings in the first place, "I was planning to admit my feelings for him after this event. I want to be with him in every way."
"Is it me or is love in the air?" Says Miette teasingly as she and Carrie approached the group seeing the moment between the pair.
Once it was explained to both Ash and Dawn how the two girl apologized to the group they were onboard for the two to be in the fold. Ash smiled seeing Carrie and Miette working towards repairing their friendships with May and Serena respectively. Ash had been happy to see the relaxed smiles on all four of their faces, Dawn was happy that Serena got her old friend back and she felt the same for May. The duo didn't know about Ursula's plot with Paul to separate them, their friends believed that it would crash and burn from the start, and Leaf already suspected that Ash had figured out something was odd about the two bullies and had told Dawn about it.
The announcer spoke from the mic, "Good Morning Evergrand High! I am Scott Matthews and I will your announcer for today's battles, giving you the play-by-play report happening on the field. This Battle Royale is the most anticipated event that happens twice every school year, it is to show the prowess of promising young trainers - such as yourselves - and how their skills over the years. All battles in this event with be considered official ones by the PLA, any underhanded tactics will be an automatic disqualification from the competition. There will four rounds; first will be the preliminaries, quarter finals, then the semifinals, and lastly the finals. We have a total of twenty trainers this time around, the first round starts off with a wild pairing!!!"
Ash breathed in deeply his right hand holding onto the Pikachu charm that Dawn had giving him all those years ago. She was right there watching him, he wanted to make this more then amazing. He had seen most of her contest from the moment he had heard about her meteoric rise in Sinnoh before he began his journey through Jonto.
"Scott! I didn't know they got him as an announcer." May says surprised to see the Head of the Battle Frontier on the battle grounds.
Another voice greeted the group, "It is great to see you again May! As for Scott, Brandon called for a favor and the boss couldn't resist watching Ash battle again."
The group turned to see Lucy the Pike Queen and Battle Maiden Anabel sat behind. May introduced them to everyone, and explained how she had met them.
Anabel smiled and then said, "Brandon wanted us to assess his son. Of course this is only second time we would see Paul battle, we can't deny that he has the skills to be an amazing battler but there is no way he can match Ash. Palmer from Sinnoh had often said that Paul lacks the finer polish as a trainer and Maylen detests the way trains his Pokemon."
"I've heard he only looks for the strongest ones and that if they can't keep up with his harsh training methods he'd kick them out and leave them in the dust." Says Gary narrowing his eyes
Dawn scowled, "That is just... why is he even still a trainer?!"
"No one can really prove his training his Pokemon brutally. Even Professor Brandon has never seen how Paul trains his Pokemon." Responds Richie.
Drew shakes his head, "I hope someone finds out someday. The only we will is of we can see how the Pokemon acts around him."
"Or if Ash can sense how the Pokemon is feeling through his Aura. This might just be the day we find out how Paul really treats his Pokemon." Says Serena scowling at thought of Pokemon getting abused by their trainer.
A lady in a red suite sat beside the Pike Queen, "Don't worry young ones. If young Mr. Shinji is proven of Pokemon abuse then Ash can legally take his Pokemon away from him. He was inducted to the Pokemon Rangers when he continued his Aura training after coming back from Hoenn."
"Lizabeth! Really, when did he have the time to do that? And how's Jackie?" May greets while making introductions to the rest of the group.
The older woman smiled, "We were looking for him, Noland from the Frontier contacted another of our Rangers and said he was headed for Rota."
"I am glad he accepted the invite into the Rangers, from what I've heard of his feats the job of a ranger suits him. And it also allows him to travel around the world." Says Anabel with a smile.
Back to the field Scott continued to announce, "On the red corner we have a top notch trainer the current Champion of the Orange Island Cup, Lily of the Valley Conference, Evergrand Conference, and the one and only trainer who had completed the Kanto Battle Frontier. The Pride of Pallet, Ashton Ketchum!"
Uproarious applause filled the field as Ash came out of his corner, waving to the crowd meeting the eyes of his friends, his eyes lingering on Dawn who smiled and blew him a kiss.
Scott continued with the next contestant, "On the green corner we have the recent runner up of the Sinnoh League and he has collected two Symbols of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier. Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Paul Shinji!"
Polite applause filled the field, not as loud as Ash's but there were the occasional wolf whistles. The battle began.
Scott iterated the rules, "This will be a three-on-three battle. First trainer to knockout two out of three of their opponent's Pokemon is the winner."
Both trainers shook hands and took out their Pokeballs, Pikachu staying beside Ash as his trainer picked his first Pokemon.
"Torttera stand by for battle." Says Paul his PokeBall emitting light before a turtle-like creature appeared.
Scott enter in, "And Paul takes out his Torterra! That's a big grass type folks, a Sinnoh Starter. What does Ash have to counter this massive beast."
"Charizard I choose you!" Ash says throwing the ball into that air light emits from the device followed by a flash of flame. From the flame emerged a large Charizard.
Zoey passes out a comment, "Isn't Ash going to be in a slight disadvantage with this march up?"
"You might think that but don't forget that Charizard is part flying type, ground type moves don't work on it, so Earthquake won't even do a thing. And that Charizard is one of his ACE Pokemon, it's stronger then the average Charizard." Gary responds studying the field.
May shakes her head, "His Charizard also has a History with shit trainers, his former trainer abandoned him in the rain when Ash met him. That was when Ash began his days as a trainer in Kanto. Paul better hope Charizard can't tell if his Pokemon has been mistreated, because that's a one way ticket to his shit list."
On the field Charizard greets Ash with a weak ember to the face, much to the amusement of his friends and the confusion of the crowd. The confusion washed away when the lizard licked the soot off the boy's face.
"Hey there Charizard! Good to see you too bud." Ash greets with a chuckled at his friend's fiery greeting.
Paul scowls "Tech."
Brandon smiled at the intersection between Ash and Charizard seeing the close bond that the young man had with the pseudo dragon creature. If only his son could see that there is more to training Pokemon them just raw strength and power.
"Stone edge Torterra!" Orders Paul off the bat.
The grass turtle pounded hots stubby front paws on the ground causing jagged to rocks to appear from underneath.
Ash stayed calm and said, "Protect yourself with steal wing Charizard!"
The fire lizard wrapped it's wings around itself and fortified them with a metal sheen. The jagged rock broke against the armor.
Ash gave his second command, "Continue using steal wing and fly up."
Charizard roared and unfolded it's wings, flying up and away from the rocks while also letting some fly his opponents way. The spikey projectiles did minimal damage to the Grass type, but there were no scratches seen on the orange lizard.
"Smart move by Mr. Ketchum using Steel Wing as a shield to defend Charizard from those jagged rocks." Says Scott smiling.
Gary smirked, "Mm, defence is the best offence. Ash sure has learned a lot over the years. But honing that kind of technique is not easy."
"Charizard still looks fresh. None of those spikes got through the Steel Wing at all!" Says Dawn in awe.
The battle continued with both sides causing damage to one another, despite the slight type advantage in Paul's end it seemed like he couldn't land a super effective blows on the fire lizard. Charizard was one of Ash's aces for a reason, the mon had trained on the Charizardic Valley for two years before joining Ash again and staying with his trainer for good.
"Rock Slide!" Paul commands.
Ash smiles, "Slash again then Dragon Rage."
The rocks were slashed to pieces, though a few did cause a decent bit of damage to the lizard they weren't enough to knock him out. Then a burst of draconic energy came out of his mouth straight onto the his opponent which caused a Critical hit!
"Torterra use take down!" Paul says anger clearly heard by the crowd.
Richie frowned assessing the damage done to the turtle mon, "If that take down doesn't land then Torterra will be on its last legs, the damage it got from that dragon rage was huge. And Charizard is still good for more. I don't think even Zippo can stand up to Ash's Charizard."
"I don't think Paul cares about Torterra's condition at this point. He just wants to beat Ash." Was May's rather sour remark.
Back on the field even Scott felt disgusted at how Paul was planing to end this battle. Ash narrowed his eyes at the other trainer's choice, he didn't want to do it but he had to.
"End his pain Charizard, Focus Punch!" Ash called out frowning as he crossed his eyes.
Dawn frowned as well as if knowing Ash's thoughts. She saw his stance, how conflicted his face looked. He did not want to, but he had no choice...
Anabel shakes her head, "Ash is conflicted with his choice to end the battle this way. But he doesn't want to see Torterra struggling anymore. His compassion is truly immeasurable."
Back on the field Charizard obeyed his trainer without hesitation, though he didn't like to end the battle this way he also didn't want to see his opponent struggle past his limit. He like Ash didn't like how Paul ruthlessly handled this match up. With his fist glowing red he charged his opponent dealing a heavy blow.
Scott called the victory, "Torterra is unable to battle, Charizard wins. Green trainer bring out your next Pokemon."
"Tech. Torterra return. Monferno stand by for battle!" Paul says recalling the grass type and calling out another Sinnoh Starter.
Ash pulled out Charizard's Pokeball, "Thanks bud. Take a good rest."
The fire lizard smiled and nodded at his trainer. Back he went. Ash clipped the ball and got another from his belt.
He smiles, "Come on out Wartortle!"
White light flashes soon revealing a blue turtle with sunglasses. The Pokemon looked around until he saw his trainer and went up to hug him. The crowd was warmed by the display, Dawn smiled at how cute it was. The staff sable situated in front of the bleachers, all of the teachers smiled at the love shown between the trainer and his Pokemon, Brandon chuckles recognizing the bond between Ash and Wartortle. Despite still being in it's second evolution this particular Wartortle was a tough one.
Ash laughed petting his old friend, "It is great to see you bud! I've heard you've been a great help to Officer Jenny back in Kanto. All that work for the Fire Department helped you get stronger, right?"
The water turtle nods enthusiastically, waving it's short arms happily. The group saw Monferno's reaction to the interaction, the fire chimp looked forlorn. The ladies didn't like how sad he looked, and the guys looked thoughtful.
Lizabeth said with narrowed eyes, "Well then, looks like we will get our proof after all. That Monferno looks like it has never gotten an ounce of affection and looks rather malnourished."
"How despicable indeed. Ash doesn't look too pleased, and neither does Wartortle." Says a new voice from behind the group of friends.
They turned to see the now esteemed Pokemon Doctor Brock Stone! Gary, Drew, and Richie greeted him with hand shakes, while May, Leaf, and Serena hugged the older man.
"Dawn, Zoey, and Kenny this is Brock Stone a friend of ours. He recently finished his studies as a Pokemon Doctor. I thought you'd be too busy to make it here Brock." Says May as the older man sat beside her.
Brock smiled, "Professor Birch called me for a favor and I couldn't refuse! So I'm helping Nurse Joy with the treatments for this event. Besides I couldn't miss seeing Ash battle. And I'm not liking what I'm seeing on Paul's side."
"Let's see what happens next." Says Richie his eyes narrowing.
Scott looks between both trainers, "Red trainer gets the first move this time."
"Alright Squirtle withdraw then do rapid spin." Says Ash.
Paul gives his Pokemon a sneer, "Alright you useless chimp Mech Punch."
He couldn't have been clearer with his insult towards his Pokemon, Brandon narrowed his eyes at this. The crowed looked surprised, not used to seeing this kind of treatment. Ash's group was the exception since they've all seen some very questionable trainers treat their Pokemon in similar ways. Scott tried hard to keep his displeasure from showing, but Anabel and Lucy felt affronted.
Ash balled his hands, "Dodge that using Water Gun Wartortle."
Wartortle did as he was told, but with the added momentum of rapid spin the water gun went through all of the holes of his shell. Creating a water spinner, Monferno's punch was stopped as he got hit with a torrent of water pushing him back, the fire monkey took a harsh amount of damage from the impact.
"Damn, I don't how Ash manages to keep unlocking his non evolved Pokemon's potential without making them evolve at all. He was able to teach Wartortle hydro pump while he was in Jonto!" Exclaimed Gary awed by the power Wartortle had.
Brock chuckles, "Part of it his because of his aura abilities. But it is mostly because they have absolute faith in each other. Now let's see what's next."
Back on the field Monferno was laying face down on the ground panting heavily from the super effective hit. Wartortle was standing proudly, not a scratch on him. Ash was eyeing the opposite side critically, observing Paul's actions. If rumors were to be believed then Ash would take Monferno into his team and raise him properly.
"You better get up you weak monkey! Don't make me take out Ursuring and let him beat you!" Paul declares with a sneer.
The crowd was aghast with this comment, Brandon glared at his son in disdain. Monferno struggled to stand, his legs shaking and breaths labored. Even Scott doubted the chimp could go on, the boss of the Frontier knew it wasn't weak because it lacked skill and strength, he was weak because of mistreatment.
"You asked for it. Ursuring teach this weakling a lesson!" Paul says monotonously.
The crowd was angered by this, Ash's friends were appalled by his actions, most of all Dawn. The blue haired girl was disgusted, she hoped Ash would do something. She knew he would do something. The big bear roared and charged at the chimp, everyone screamed in fright. A flash of blue came from Ash's side of the stage, then the young man was seen holding the bear back, his eyes now a radiant blue and his body stiff with rage simmering just beneath the surface.
Ash spoke his voice quiet but the mic he wore made his words heard by all, "How dare you?! So this is how you train your Pokemon? Despicable!"
"So? What of it Ketchum? They are my Pokemon. I'll treat them as I please." Paul says smirking.
Ash growled, "Your not a trainer. Real trainers care for their Pokemon. You're a monster!"
The crowed roared their approval at Ash's words, they didn't like what they were seeing especially the adults. The group of friends felt like bile was coming up their throats at what they heard Paul say. Lizabeth was on her phone talking to someone, while Anabel was trying to calm Lucy down.
Scott placed down his phone and spoke through his mic, "Red trainer your capacity as an honorary ranger has been activated. You may do as you please."
Ash nods his thanks to the man, "Alright then. Lucario I choose you!" He says unclipping a Pokeball from his waist and freeing the Jackal Mon from it.
Lucario assessed his surroundings and saw the danger Ash was in. He growled seeing that his master and friend was protecting an abused Pokemon.
Ash met the aura Jackal's eyes and nods, "Extreme Close Combat now."
Doing as he was told, Lucario was a blue blur until he reappeared and hit the bear with an onslaught of punches. Ursuring tried to dodge but was too slow and got a KO. Paul approached them fury painted on his face, he took out Monferno's PokeBall and was about to return the fire monkey when a smirk came upon his face, instead he crunched the ball right in front of his face.
"Don't bother coming back. I don't need weak Pokemon like you on my team." Jeered the purpled haired boy.
The poor chimp was saddened, but he looked at Ash. The trainer the stood up for him and protected him from another beating, maybe he could with this one. Seeing how Ash interacted with his Pokemon made Monferno realize that Paul was not worth seeking affection from, Monferno felt a subtle pat on his shoulder and look to his side, it was the Wartortle who had beat him in the battle. The blue turtle smiled and gave him a thumbs up as if saying it would be okay, beside his opponent was a Pikachu who smiled sadly and gave him a friendly pat on the head.
Scott scowled at Paul's harsh attitude, "Mr. Shinji never have I been so disgusted with a trainer as I am today. Your behaviour towards your Pokemon is deplorable and unbecoming of a trainer! As an honorary member of the Pokemon Rangers and an Apprentice Aura Guardian Mr. Ketchum has the right to take your Pokemon from you and as a League Official I have jurisdiction to suspend or legally strip you of you Trainer License."
"Ash can really do that?" Asked Dawn in shock that Ash had that kind of authority.
Lizabeth nods grimly, "Yes he can. His duty as a Pokemon ranger is to keep Pokemon wild ones and otherwise safe from harm. And as an Aura Guardian his duty as a knight of Arceus requires him to keep the balance between human and Pokemon relations. And taking care of abused Pokemon is part of his jurisdiction as both of those. Paul's treatment of his Pokemon is questionable indeed, he can't be trusted to care for any of them if all he does is hurt them."
Back on the field Ash nods to Scott and slowly approaches Paul, "Upholding my duty as an honorary Pokemon Ranger I hear by demand you to hand over your Pokemon. You are no longer legible to hold them due to your abusive treatment as evidenced by today's events and the trauma you have caused this Monferno."
Ash didn't wait for Paul to give his Pokeballs, he waved his hand and summoned them to him. Paul further angered by the events charged at Ash with a raised fist, but was knocked out by one of Ash's Pokemon, it was Noctowl.
Brock chuckled shaking his head, "Figures, his Pokemon would want to Protect him form harm. Noctowl sensed the danger and popped out of his PokeBall and used Hypnosis on Paul."
"That kind of bond is rare among trainer and Pokemon. And it isn't just because of Aura that makes it possible, Ash had a unique personality that affects the people and Pokemon around him." Provides Lucy smiling.
Back on the field Scott couldn't help but chuckle as he watched Ash lightly scold his Pokemon. Said owl just nuzzled it's beak in apology for it's actions, the trainer just shook his head with a smile. And called back the two Pokemon leaving Squirtle out, seeing his Pokemon comfort the fire monkey he grins.
Scott shakes his head and clears his throat, "Since mistreatment of a Pokemon is a call for immediate disqualification in any League sanctioned event Mr. Ketchum is the default winner of this round!"
Applause were heard, many were giving whistles, and some ladies had hearts in their eyes. Ash waved to the crowd with a smile, he once again locked eyes with Dawn who gave him yet another flying kiss. He pretended to catch it, his smile turning into that goofy grin. He felt a light tug on his pants, he looked to see Monferno looking at him.
He smiled and sat on the ground, "How about you join my team Monferno? We'll prove Paul wrong together."
He offered his hand to the Mon, who stared at it thoughtfully. So far this trainer had already proven he was unlike Paul in so many ways, the fire monkey could feel that Ash meant his words and would treat with care and kindness. He took Ash's hand and allowed the boy to lift him up gently onto his shoulder, Ash presented a fresh PokeBall which the chimp opened with his fist. I didn't even shake as it clicked.
Scott clasped him on shoulder proudly,."Well done Ash! You did well today."
"Thanks Scott." Ash responds shaking the man's hand.
The older smiled at waves him off, "Now you better get going. Your friends want to see you. See you in the next round."
The teen walked off running towards the waiting area. He handed Monferno over to nurse Joy to be checked, along with Wartortle and Charizard. Though both of his Pokemon didn't really get hurt he felt better having them healed all the same. He chose to head to the break room, once he got there he immediately cringed seeing one of his least favorite people, Ursula Yates! Ever since he learned she has been degrading Dawn's talents as a Coordinator and bullying his best friend, Ash immediately detested her. Now he wasn't one to hold grudges but Ms. Yates had been a pain to deal with for his group of friends ever since she started this school last year.
He plastered his fake smile and greeter he as pleasantly as he could, "Good Morning Ms. Yates. What bring you here?"
"Ash! Nothing much, just came in for a cup of warm chocolate." Says the girl bounding over to him unashamedly invading his space.
He stepped back squirming, "Ah. Well, I hope it did you some good."
"It did. But now that you're here I feel much better.." He knew she was trying to be coy with him but he didn't really care for her advances.
She came up to him, leaning in closer and placing her arms around his neck. Bringing her face closer to his. He pushed her back a scowl on his face. What they didn't know was that Dawn was right out the door spying them from the small glass frame, she knew that Ash didn't have feelings for Usual and didn't really care for her tricks. She gasped when she felt an unwelcomed arm pull her waist.
It was that despicable purple haired trainer, "So you saw mm. How about we return the favor? Ketchum doesn't care about you like you're thinking he does.
"Let go Shinji! Your lies and tricks aren't going to work on me. I know Ash better then anyone, we grew up together. You or Ursula will never understand the kind of bond we have." Dawn gritted out trying to pull out of Paul's grip.
The boy had the nerve to smirk at her, "I knew you're just playing hard to get Berlitz. No can resist getting with me!"
"Well then, let me be the first to do so. Because I'll NEVER pick you over Ash!" She says pushing the boy away.
He staggered back slightly, at first he looked surprised but that quickly shifted into a more menacing look. He closed in again, backing her to the lockers behind her. She shook as a slight fear came over her, she knew Paul was stronger then her but she still tried her best to fight him off.
The boy laughed maniacally, "Well then of I can't have you... then I'll just force my way."
"L-let go you twisted bastard!" She yelled kneeing his groin.
He flinched but then recovered pushing her header into the lockers. He closes in placing his unwelcomed lips on hers, her eyes widened her azure orbs blazing with anger. Her empathy powers were activating due to her frustration at the situation. He was feeling her up, his hands getting pretty familiar with her butt and breasts. She felt so violated! She felt tears in her eyes as she struggled to push him away.
"Ash! Please I need you!" She thought in desperation. She was using her empathy powers to get to the one person she knew she could count on.
At first all she heard was noise in her mind but then a familiar voice answered her, "D-Dawn? What's wrong?!"
"It's Paul! He's .." She trailed off feeling his rage seep through the link.
From the corner of her eye she saw a flash of blue coming from the break room, then felt Paul's lips and hands come off of her. Then she saw him, her savior, her Guardian. He looked righteous in his anger on her behalf, he through Paul across the hall and she could have sworn she heard something crack. He vanished and reappeared in front of the purple haired trainer.
Her heart's desire spoke his voice filled rage, "You dare to defile her?! What did you think I would do if I saw this? Did you actually think I'd be dumb enough to believe that she did it on her own free will? I know her better the you do Shinji. And we both figured that you and Ursula cooked up this little scheme, it may seem unfathomable to you that we did find out about it but we did and this wouldn't have worked even if we didn't find out."
Their bond was too strong for this kind of thing to break them. Dawn saw Ursula come out mouth agape, she shook her head. Of course, she trusted Ash. She knew that he would never do anything to hurt her, or do anything like what Ursula was making him do. Dawn gave the dark haired girl a stern glare, the other girl must have seen the blue flames erupt from her eyes because she backed away, she had tears of devastation in her eyes. Dawn thought that she should stop Ash from killing the jerk he was currently raging at.
"Ash..." She spoke her voice tinted with softness as she walked towards her Protector.
She reached him and slipped her hands over his shoulders gently pulling him off of his current punching bag. She looked over at the purple haired boy, Ash really did a number on him.
"Ash." She says again, this time turning him towards her. She met his now electric blue eyes, the anger still present.
He struggle against her for a few moments, "D-Dawn?"
"Calm down Ashton. I know you don't want to kill him, he's already out of it. Don't do something that will taint your soul, please." She says running her hand over his black locks. She smiled feeling his power recede a little, she felt his breathing ease out.
Ash pulled her closer needing to feel her familiar presence around his general space, "Are you alright my shining Diamond? He didn't do anything too horrid, did he?"
"His kiss and his unwelcomed touch were horrid enough. But he didn't go further thank goodness. Did she do anything more to you?" She says looking into his calm eyes still blue from his aura powers.
He shook his head nuzzling his nose into her hair savoring the smell of lavender and vanilla, "Her kiss was atrocious enough. And she dared to try removing my shirt but I stayed firm and kept her out."
"ASH, DAWN!" They heard someone call.
It was Miette, followed by the rest of their friends. Leaf and Serena had seen the entire scene play out in the hall, and were nearly ready to pull Paul off of Dawn. While May and Zoey were ready to drag Usrula off of Ash the second the girl dared to feel up his shirt! But Richie and Brock had stopped them and asked them to wait. Brock knew what would happen, Ash had told him about his feelings for Dawn when they traveled through Kanto that first time, after meeting the girl today he grew to like her personality which reminded him of Ash's. For the older boy, he could see a bond that would transcend lifetimes, he also wanted to bust Paul's ass for defiling Dawn the way he did but Ash did that in the most savage way.
May in all her anger stomped over to Ursula and slapped the girl HARD! It left a dark red mark on the other girl's face, "That is for trying to defile my brother in all but blood you SLUT! If you thought no one was watching then you are dead wrong Ms. Yates, we recorded everything and will send it to Professor Birch. You and Paul will be put through a bucket load of punishments for sure."
"You two go have some alone time. We'll handle these shits. Take as long as you need. And Ash, Monferno is fully healed, I told nurse Joy to send him to Professor Oak's lab." Says Leaf smiling at her friends.
Dawn nods and returns the Burnett's smile. She takes a still calming Ash's hand and takes off to have a much needed talk to the black haired boy.
Gary looked towards the two shits and smiled creepily, "Now what to do with you..."
