Chapter 12
"HUH!?" came out of the masses.
There were head tilts everywhere as Yua explained the situation. "Toshi is… pregnant." She said bluntly once more. "SO as such, it's all hands on deck to help him. Right now, Choso explained their biggest concern is food. Apparently he went a little wild the other night, nearly Yuuji and Suiryu wild when they came at me that one time." She explained.
"Please don't remind us…" Yuuji said gently.
"I still regret that…"
"YOU ATTACKED HER?!" Everyone jumped at Sukuna's stunned outburst. "Seriously?! What did she do to piss you off!?"
"Baby dragons phase, weren't in the right mindset, spilt a whole bunch of marinade on myself after helping Eso in the kitchen… So it wasn't in my favor…" she explained.
"Damn, you were marinated…" Sukuna muttered.
"Heel" came bluntly out of Suiryu.
Yua smirked a little as Sukuna face planted in the ground. "Thank you," she said offhandedly. "So, I think the same situation is happening, but it's going to be on a greater scale. As such I think we need to break up into teams and ensure there's enough food for Toshi and his growing family… and everyone else at the curse wombs estate."
Nods were seen all around. "How about I take half the kids with me to the hunting grounds. Kiyoshi needs some lessons and same with Megumi." Said Yuuji.
"Great idea! Bring back meats you know will keep for some time. But also those that can be eaten over the next few days that are hearty would be good as well…"
"Leviathan meat." Suiryu and Yuuji said instantly. "It only keeps for a week before it decays. But, it's a week and if his appetite is growing then this is the best way to ensure he stays full." Suiryu explained.
"Then please, as much as you can get and what can be offered, I know these creatures are not hunted and it must be asked for and given."
"What?" asked Sukuna from the ground.
"Get up," muttered Suiryu as he stood once more.
"You ASK this beast for it's meat?!" Sukuna shouted.
"Gods, don't you have an INDOOR voice!" Suiryu snapped back.
He didn't flinch; he glared at Suiryu who suddenly paused. "I take it back, that's a no," he muttered. "Tch, should have realized that…"
"Anyways, yes, Sukuna, there is a creature that one can harvest meat off of. It's a symbiotic relationship. If the creature grows too large…"
"Boring…." He said discontently.
"Then don't ask if you don't want to know," she snapped back.
"Anyways! Toshi needs food, so let's go hunt!" Yuuji announced. He turned and picked out who would go with him. Kiyoshi for certain and half of the nephews and six nieces that wanted to get their skills up. It was like pulling teeth to convince Megumi to go along, but eventually he agreed. They were gone in an instant.
"Say, where are the other ladies?" Yua asked offhandedly.
"They didn't say, however the other girls went with them, something about getting Toshi proper clothing?" explained Junpei.
That an interesting to say, since Toshi is going to be growing constantly throughout this, why get clothing now?
"And what of the brothers?" she asked Junpei.
"Eso in the kitchen, for an odd reason Toshi is craving a lot of fermented foods, pickled everything!" he explained. "Good thing big bro knows how to master his technique to use it for fermenting…"
"Is that how he does it? Interesting…" came out of Sukuna.
"You're helping," Yua decreed.
"Figures…"

They separated into their respective teams.
Yua was mapping and listing out the needs of Toshi and the brothers. Yet it was a little hard to judge since this hasn't occurred before… at least to them. "Take into consideration it's a similar situation when the brat was turning his kid."
It was odd to have Sukuna as a soundboard, however he was the better one to have. Gojo on the other hand…
"I'm planning the baby shower with Suguru!" he called aloud from across the way.
Yua and Sukuna rolled their eyes. "FINE" she called back. "But don't upset Toshi!"
Gojo snickered as he was off to plan this.
"Why did you marry him?" Sukuna asked offhandedly.
"I wonder that every day…"
"Tuna…"
Yua paused as Toge approached. 'Yua, is there any way we can help? Panda and I? We haven't done much around here to really… assist in any of this.' He asked.
"You two have kept the students in line and kept a routine going for them. That's HUGE to me. As for this… hmm… can you help Eso take stock of what we have food wise? I know Yuuji won't be long, but I would like to know our current levels."
'Of course! Leave it to us!' Toge was quick to find Panda, and assist Eso.
"Curious to that brat, how did he learn that?" Sukuna asked.
"Suiryu" she said bluntly. "When he first came here according to Gojo, he offered to teach since he had your knowledge, the school refused until he made an agreement with Yaga at the time. If he could get one student to accept him as a teacher and that student passes the test the council had, he would be able to teach. Telepathic speech was the first thing he taught him."
"Tch, that damn knock off…" he muttered.
"Anyways, let's get back to Toshi. We have NO idea how this is going to go do we?" she asked aloud.
Sukuna… paused oddly.
"What's with that?"
"I… might have something… come with me."
Yua paused oddly as Sukuna began to wonder off. He was going into the wooded area of the domain and began to trudge through without a proper path. Yet, along the way, Yua paused oddly as Tanso's familiars began to come out to take a look. "It's okay, he's showing me something," she said gently.
They backed off a little but kept a close eye. I guess Tanso don't fully trust Sukuna after he destroyed a good portion of his familiars from their battle.
Yua was also starting to second guess herself in following him, yet, the deeper they went, the more she realized how unexplored this domain really was! They reached a far wall. Sukuna paused as he cleared away some of the foliage and peered about. "I know it's here… somewhere… ah!" his hands skimmed over the rock, until he found what he was looking for.
Yua didn't realize that there was a stone out of place.
Sukuna pried it out before reaching in and taking out three old books. "Ah, I knew they would have hid them to be safe…" he said offhandedly. He then passed them along to Yua. "Your family kept these books with them. They read them to the children like fairytales. It's how I got my knowledge about dragon." He explained.
She opened one of the books but paused. "Strange… this language…" she didn't know it the least bit, however the more she stared, the more the words suddenly translated in her mind. Information began to come out and she began to read. She sat there and went through the first book in little time. Then the second, and then the third.
"So… male dragons have the ability to have the children if the conditions are right. A wounded, sick or dying female and the brood must belong to the male in order for him to birth them. With the exception of a nursery dragon…"
Sukuna nodded.
"I am starting to think there is going to be a greater fallout to this than one realizes…" he said offhandedly. "After all, Toshi's wife is cursed, so are the others are they not? Perhaps something more is going to become of this…"
Then again, he is the king of curses…
"Would you like to tell me?" she asked.
But he shook his head. "I refuse for the time being, besides, if I say it out loud, it may warn whoever has it out for Lady Tiamat and her daughters. It may inspire false hope as well…"
She considered his words until she realized what he was referring to. However, she understood his reasoning for staying silent and nodded in agreement. "I won't speak of it either until it's certain. I can understand this method too. We don't know who is listening to us right?"
"I told you, Toorus are smart." He said and smirked. "Just so you know, I would have helped him even if you didn't ask or order me to do so… he's my brew master. Like HELL I am training anyone else… then again his brats learned really quickly… as if they already knew the method and process… perhaps it's hereditary among dragons when talents and abilities are passed down to the next generation…" he said.
"That could be another reason why the males cull the young. If they inherit their power, and then talents on top of that, and be stronger than their fathers… no wonder they felt threatened!" Yua said aloud. "Then why are we so different?"
Sukuna snickered. "You were not raised to believe the next generation is going to take you out. You of all and those here know the importants of evolution. One has to adapt and evolve in order to better survive the world they come into. You negate that the moment you deprive yourself of a new blood."
Yua… was oddly startled to this. "You have really thought this through, haven't you?" she asked.
"I married a Tooru, I have to think things through before I act, especially around HER" he said in a warning tone.
Yua understood, one must never underestimate Chusi!
