Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!

Chapter 6: Back On Boudacia

Once the ship landed, Mandie attempt to sneak back to her room, trying hard to avoid being caught by the droids, servants or worst of all, her parents.

"Almost there..."Mandie thought as she kept moving quickly and quietly to her quarters.

She was almost safe in her room when-

"AHEM!..." The shared voices her parents said as she turned and saw her parents glaring at her, with their arms crossed.

"Ahh... Mother. Father..." Mandie said with an innocent smile. "Uh...I was just... inspecting the weapons..."She tried.

"Save it, we know you left the palace..."Maurus said, his eyes narrowed at his daughter.

"Did you think Dieana would leave us in the dark? She works more for us than you, after all..." Milee said.

"Ah... I was... out..." Mandie said while her father sent her an angry look.

"Doing what? You went to the Earth of this dimension, didn't you?..." Maurus asked accusingly.

Mandie knew that she was caught and decided to be upfront about her trip. At the very least, she couldn't get into anymore trouble.

"Yes... and I encountered this Danny Phantom..." Mandie said, getting the attention of her parents.

"And?..." Maurus asked as his daughter began to talk about her close encounter with the Earth's hero.

10 minutes later

Mandie explained everything that happened to her parents...save for certain details that she felt were better kept to herself, specifically the kiss.

"That part I'm keeping a secret for now..."She thought.

All the while, the alien princess had uploaded the footage from her ultra glasses to a display. Her parents were watching the recordings of Danny's battle, looking less than what they expected as they studied his powers and combat prowess.

"So, this is the one who defeated you...he looks scrawny and small..."King Maurus said with his arms crossed, believing it to be a fluke.

All the while, Mandie thought back to their battle and smiled happily...especially as she recalled her first kiss with the very warrior who defeated her.

"Oh Phantom, such ferocity..."Mandie thought as she looked at the recording on him, smiling like a school girl...which her mother noticed.

"Daughter?..." Milee asked.

Mandie snapped out of it and turned to face her mother.

"Y-Yes?..."She asked, wondering if she was in trouble or if her mother suspected what she had been thinking.

To her relief, her mother smiled and seemed pleased with her.

"I'm extremely glad that you have managed to collect so much useful data for our army, my little monster..."Milee said as she examined the information gathered on the one called Danny Phantom.

She was surprised by the kind of power he possesses but also that he seemed attractive enough to catch Mandie's interest. Her daughter never truly showed interest in her suitors as she was more interested in conquering worlds and expanding Boudacian territory...which she was proud of but still, she is 16 and is due for marriage soon.

"She is at the age...perhaps she is ready to choose..."The queen thought.

"I believe we should have to meet this Danny Phantom in person before we decide if he is worthy..."Milee said, getting her daughter's hopes up.

"So... does that mean what I think it means?..." Mandie asked, hoping that they will let her challenge Phantom to properly fight for her hand.

Before Milee could say anything, her husband spoke up.

"Do not think what I'm sure you're thinking! He is too small, scrawny and unworthy of you, Daughter!..."King Maurus said seriously before smiling. "Besides, Brutis has requested a formal battle to win the right for your hand again..."He said while his daughter now had a disgusted scowl on her face.

"Marry Brutis?! AS IF! I THOUGHT THAT I MADE PAINFULLY CLEAR WHEN I MARRIED MARK FOR HIS PLANET!..."Mandie said, refusing the mere thought of it.

She also couldn't believe that it hasn't even been a day since she beat that moron up and he's back to pestering her.

"Perhaps we should consider another?..." Milee suggested.

"Who? This flying ape? Ridiculous!..." Maurus scoffed, making his daughter angry.

"But Father!..." Mandie whined but her father refused to listen.

"No Mandie, I am King and your father, you are foolish if you think I am accepting this. You must consider a proper suitor to be your groom..."He said and his daughter scowled, hating that he didn't give into her request.

Mandie may be a powerful warrior but her father is still king and she has to answer to him...plus, he IS her father and still needed his approval.

Unfortunately, his first choice for her groom is someone she had no desire to be with.

"Must I agree to this? You know that I don't like that idiot!..."Mandie tried to protest again, but it fell on deaf ears as her father kept trying to get her to consider her most obnoxious suitor.

"My daughter, Brutis will make a fine husband. He is loyal, strong and will give you the support that any royal Boudacian needs. With him, you will rule this universe and eventually our old one with an iron fist!..."King Maurus said, grinning.

Dieana, who had been doing chores, couldn't help but overhear between the royal family and feel like swooning at the mention of the elite warrior.

"He is also so dreamy~..."The handmaiden said with a dreamy sigh as she though about the elite warrior. "Brutis is so strong, handsome, suave, talented and daring. What more can a girl want?..."She said, but it seem like she was talking to herself more than the royal family.

Mandie rolled her eyes before she turned her head to the side, holding her gag reflex. The thought alone of Brutis was enough to produce vomit and she didn't hesitate to tell her folks how she REALLY felt about the whole thing.

"Brutis can't even last five minutes against me in a spar! How can you say that he'll be able to benefit our family's future when he can't even last long enough in a fight with me than 5 minutes!..."Mandie shouted, turning her head away. "Honestly, the punching dummy I had when I was a 3 year old was more fun!..."She shouted, frowning.

She couldn't believe how some people in didn't see how shallow and manipulative Brutis is under all that noble status and looks. It was an embarrassment, even to Boudacians.

"I don't see what you see in him. Your mother had no issue with me..." Maurus said.

Mandie frowned hard.

"It's not what I see... it's what I'd have to deal with..."She muttered quietly and bitterly.

She has known Brutis since she was child and he has always been an arrogant, condescending fool. She knew that he only wanted to marry her for her beauty and status as the princess...that was alright since Boudacians usually only married for political and even military gain but he was such a pigheaded fool and braggart.

He keeps talking tough but every time they fight together, he barely managed to stay on his feet after she pummeled him in their last fight and the dozens beforehand. Mandie never once broke a sweat in any of their spars.

It was so pathetic.

"I have no interest in lowering my standards for him..."She said while her mother sighed.

"Perhaps we should consider another option..."Milee said, knowing her daughter won't change her mind.

She was still considering inspect the earth hero a little more, to see if he would make a decent addition or if he needs to be eliminated.

Her husband, however, did not budge.

"Give it time, and he will prove himself..." Maurus insisted before leaving with his wife to resume battle plans.

Mandie was left to return to her room.

Mandie groaned, not wanting anything to do with Brutis.

Her thoughts went to ghost boy and his combat prowess. From his strength to the look in his eyes, the girl felt her anger dissipate as she thought about that annoying fool and the one guy whom she ever truly lost a fight to.

"Compared to Phantom, Brutis is a mere pup that has yet to bare fangs..."She thought dismissively, doing her best to quell her anger or her hair will ignite once more.

She did not want such a weak and obnoxious fool to be her husband. She just could not see the appeal in a man that was more bark than bite...no matter how much noise he makes.

No, Mandie wanted a REAL warrior...someone who was worthy to be her king and rule by her side as she fulfilled her familial destiny to conquer the universe.

She wanted someone strong, powerful, fast, fearless and spirited...someone who would give her strong pups and stand equal to her as she ruled over both universes with an iron fist. Someone who would be the only one to fight her as an equal.

Someone... like the one she just met.

"There's only one man who ever bested me and he's not even from Boudacia..."She thought as she couldn't help but think back to that warrior on earth.

The only man who ever managed to truly best her in combat...and the only man she ever kissed as well.

She touched her lips again and couldn't help but smile... a very lovesick one too as she thought about him. Once she opened her eyes, she didn't know it, but she had blush on her cheeks from the memory of kissing Danny Phantom of earth.

She had never felt anything like that before in her life, it felt different... nice even.

"Father may not approve but I just know that I've found the one truly worthy candidate to be my husband. I just know I found the right warrior to wed and father the next generation of the royal bloodline..."Mandie thought before a determined look came to her face as she began to imagine more on that special warrior whom she met tonight.

Meanwhile

As the alien princess daydreamed, her parents were discussing the next step of their plan in the throne room, namely concerning their daughter's future husband.

"Why does she reject him so much? He is the finest male warrior we have to offer. I would find a warrior on my own world, but we have no access to it now!..."Maurus said, looking angry at his child's stubbornness.

His wife tried to calm him down.

"Well, Mandie does seem to be quite selective. Perhaps we should consider a warrior off world? She has taken a shine to this one of Earth..." Queen Milee suggested, wanting to be supportive to her daughter, as well as gain a potentially powerful ally in their quest for universal conquest.

Her husband, however, didn't seem to agree with that idea.

"My daughter will not have her hand taken by a scrawny runt! Brutis is the warrior to ensure the royal family stays strong...and lead us to victory!..."He argued and his wife sighed.

"Why do I get the feeling that we won't be agreeing on this anytime soon?..."Queen Milee thought before they went to continue making war plans...for the invasion of Earth and the rest of this universe.

All the while, Mandie had plans of her own.
