Shoto and Tenya were sent to Hosu General Hospital to get their injuries treated, minimal as they were. Izuku, Hilda, Ben, and Penny stayed at a local hotel while they waited for their friends to recover. In the morning, they all saw each other again.
"How's your shoulder?" Hilda asked Tenya.
"It's starting to heal. The doctors say there was no permanent damage. And my internal radiator has also started to recover."
Penny smiled. "And even then, you could count on one of us to help you out."
"Still can't believe we pulled that off. Who would have thought a bunch of high school students would be the ones to take down the Hero Killer?" Ben chuckled.
Shoto frowned. "Though I doubt we'll be allowed to get credit for it since we're underage."
"I wouldn't worry about that."
The six turned to see Gran Torino there, along with Atomic Samurai, and Garp. Also with them was a large man with the head of a beagle dog.
"My name is Kenji Tsuragamae, Hosu Chief of Police-Woof." He introduced himself. "On behalf of the city of Hosu, I would like to express my thanks for your part in bringing down the Hero Killer."
"Awww, 'twas nothing!" Hilda giggled.
Kenji nodded. "I was very impressed with how you handled it. Stain has a few bruises, a couple of fractured ribs, and other minor injuries from the fight, but nothing life-threatening. Your supervisors made it clear that you had full permission to engage, including authorized usage of Quirks, and I'm glad to see that you didn't take advantage of that, aiming to secure and capture Stain rather than outright attacking him."
"We did our best to detain him in the most logical way." Penny said.
Tenya nodded. "I could not shame my brother's legacy by letting my anger take control and cause grievous harm."
"Be that as it may, you also saved Native's life. Of course, the official record will have to be that Endeavor, Garp, and Atomic Samurai were the ones who captured Stain, but given the circumstances, I see no reason why you can't be given partial credit. Helping to capture a notorious villain, especially if it was part of training, would certainly look good on your future resumes when it comes time to apply for your provisional licenses."
"Well, it's better than getting no credit at all." Ben shrugged.
"Has Stain said anything since you detained him?" Tenya asked.
"A breakdown of his motives, which are understandable even if his actions in accomplishing them were horrible, and confirmation that he has nothing to do with the League of Villains." Kenji said "We will be coordinating with precincts in other districts to find the bar he was brought to, based on his description of the interior. Hopefully, we can find it and set up a sting operation to capture the ones behind those monsters who attacked last night."
Tomura, Kurogiri, Parten, and the Dark Knights were busy watching the news detailing Stain's arrest.
"We may have to vacate soon," Grim Knight noted. "If they were able to interrogate the Stain, then he'll tell them enough for the police to zero in on our bar."
Tomura scratched his arm in irritation. "All they're talking about is Stain...still, at least we're on the news as well."
Murder Machine got a ping and then projected a holographic screen, showing several different files on various villains of various notorieties.
"I have received word that some of the villains that All For One suggested are coming in, along with the ones of our own choice."
Parten perked up. "Is SHE one of them?"
"Indeed, she should be coming here right now with one another."
The door soon opened and a girl walked in, followed by another; a man wearing a bull-shaped skull mask.
"Airi!" Parten smiled, walking over and hugging the girl, who hugged him back. "So glad you could make it!"
Airi wore a black skintight, backless, and sleeveless catsuit with pink details and trims, fingerless black gloves, and a skull mask that covered the lower half of her face. The skin that was exposed was also covered in all sorts of tattoos.
"She your girlfriend?" Tomura asked.
"Ewww, no," Airi said, wrinkling her nose in disgust. "I'm his cousin."
"When has that ever stopped anybody?"
"Settle down." The bull skull-masked man said. "As for me, I am Rudbornn Chelute. I'm an associate of Merciless."
"Glad you could make it," Merciless said to his old acquaintance.
"I've heard that the Hero Killer was finally apprehended. Most impressive, I must say."
"The ones who captured him were Midoriya and his friends," Tomura said, taking a sip of some bourbon. "Seems he's proving himself to be my future nemesis more and more each passing day."
"Oh, have some patience, my boy!" Batman Who Laughs chuckled. "Stain is an established and notorious criminal in the minds of the people, so his arrest would obviously be all over the news. But you're still an unknown, a wild card, a joker in the deck, as are the Nomus. It won't be so for long. Now that three are in custody and one is, well, dead as a doornail, the populace will start to understand what sort of terror they represent."
Tomura smirked as he contemplated Laughs' words, looking at his reflection in the glass.
Katsuki panted as he landed on the arena floor. The week had been the hardest in his life but also the most beneficial. Sengoku had put him and Nia through the same two things every day for the past few days. From dawn to late afternoon, It was combat and strategy training, and then from dusk to about midnight, it was patrol.
"Honestly, that bloody Quirk of his would have made him on par with All-Might and all the S-Rankers combined!" Nia said, regarding Sengoku's Quirk, [Buddah].
"Alright, let's take a break, kids," Sengoku said as he clapped his hands. "You've been improving by leaps and bounds lately."
"Give me a challenge and I won't stop until I've beaten it!" Katsuki grinned, getting up and wiping some blood from his nose.
"Well, aren't you just a damn masochist?" Nia snarked, getting a middle finger in response.
"Anyway, I felt like you should know that your friends are trending online right now." Sengoku said as he showed the two his phone.
"Damn, Deku! Taking out the Hero Killer?!" Katsuki grinned in amusement. "And Stay Puft, Four Eyes, Icy-Hot, Elemento, and Robo-Girl were helping him out too? Why weren't we in Hosu?!"
"Most of the heroes hunting Stain were those that could conceivably counter him," Sengoku explained. "Still, there's more. The attack by those Nomus, like the ones from USJ. When creatures like that attack, it causes people to panic and it's up to Heroes to keep a cool head and confront the danger head-on to make the people know they're safe."
Nia nodded. "A true hero always keeps their fear in check."
"Good answer. Now, let's get on to patrols tonight. The people need to see heroes on the streets now more than ever."
Rikidou and Kouji were training with Melony, the former being bounced back by the woman as she inflated into a giant sphere with a head, hands, and feet thanks to one of the applications of her Quirk, [Snowball].
"Oh my, are you starting to get cold, dear? I can warm you up if you wish~." Melony giggled.
"No, that's alright, Mrs. Alpin," Rikidou said with a small blush as Kouji helped him up.
"Just Miss, dear," Melony said as she deflated before noticing the news. "Oh dear, we better start patrolling. Who knows what kind of trouble might brew tonight."
"Got it," Rikidou said. "I'll be sure to tank up. Make sure you got some animal buddies handy, Koda!"
Kouji nodded. Thanks to Melony's motherly comforting aura, he was slowly coming out of his shell more while Rikidou was learning how to increase the timer for his Quirk, [Sugar Rush], as well as reducing the sugar crash when it wore off. He had also been learning how to use different sugars to boost different attributes.
"I'm so glad to hear you guys are okay." Ochako said, talking to Izuku over the phone. "I just saw it on the news and I got worried."
"Awwww, don't worry your cute little head over it, Mochi~!" Hilda cooed on the other end, taking the phone from Izuku. "We'll be back to cuddle you before you know it."
Ochako blushed brightly but smiled, giggling bashfully at just how forward Hilda was sometimes before a troubling thought crossed her mind.
"Wait, Stain also cut you, didn't he? What will this mean for OFA?"
"Don't worry, I had no intention of transferring it at that moment, so it didn't matter that Stain swallowed some of my DNA."
"Aren't you all so cute together?" Giggled Gunhead, the Pro Hero that Ochako was interning under, causing the brunette to stammer in embarrassment.
"What's up with you, little bird?" Keigo Takami AKA Hawks asked Fumikage as they were out getting lunch.
Fumikage was looking at the news on his phone. "I didn't think Midoriya and the others would do something so foolish."
"Try not to sweat the details too much," Hawks said. "I'm sure they did everything smart when confronting Stain. After all, they had each other's backs."
Fumikage nodded. "I suppose you're right. Iida, Todoroki, and Midoriya know better than to take such foolish risks. Yasakani can be brash at times, but she is also quite cautious and both Torekuroshi and Polendina are skilled in their own rights. They wouldn't get into anything they didn't think they couldn't handle."
"A PHONE CALL IS HERE! A PHONE CALL IS HERE!"
Toshinori coughed in embarrassment as he answered his phone, ignoring the laughter from Blast, Tsunade, Rayleigh, and Bang, whom he was having coffee with.
"Hello?"
"Hey Toshi, ya hear the news?"
Toshinori smiled. "Kamikaze! It's been a while, old friend! How are you handling Young Iida? I hope he isn't too stiff for you."
"Nah, he's been learning to loosen up." Atomic Samurai chuckled on the other end. "Anyway, I wanted to tell you that he and those kids you're so fond of worked together in taking down the Hero Killer last night."
Toshinori almost freaked. "I didn't think Young Midoriya and Yasakani would progress this quickly!"
"Ha! That brat of mine! He sure knows how to keep surprising me!" Rayleigh laughed, having overheard everything.
"Well, the kids had each other's backs, as well as a few others from their class." Atomic Samurai replied to Toshinori. "The official report is that they were acting as Sidekicks helping out Garp, Enji, and me in capturing Stain. But there's a bigger problem, Toshi... It turns out the Nomu that attacked the USJ wasn't the only one."
"So the League of Villains had more waiting in the wings," Toshinori realized before scowling. "That tears it, we didn't finish him off after all. I thought doing what Nana didn't, fighting as a team, would overwhelm him to the point where he could never harm anyone ever again."
"Yeah, the next time we see the League of Villains, they'll definitely have much more up their sleeves." Atomic Samurai said. "Do you intend to tell the kids about HIM?"
Toshinori nodded. "Yes, I do. It's best that he and his friends understand... The same way Nana Shimura suggested I tell you and our other friends."
Toshinori hung up and turned to Tsunade, the two of them having a mutual look of understanding of what needed to be done when their students returned from internships. Blast, Rayleigh, and Bang also frowned, knowing exactly what was going on as well.
In a diner somewhere out in the middle of the city, three young men were discussing their plans to join the League of Villains.
"So in the end Stain's ideals fell flat when he was struck with reality from three young teens," A lizard-like man named Shuichi Iguchi said. "I kinda feel bad for him."
"Chizome Akaguro, like many others, was inspired by the heroics of All-Might and went to a private Hero School, but found the educational system to have a gross misunderstanding of what it meant to be a Hero." A man wearing a black balaclava named Atsuhiro Sako noted. "He tried to revamp the system through words but found they weren't enough. So he tried turning to action, only for his actions to be dissected and proven counter-intuitive to his cause."
"Secret villain forums are talking about recruitment for the League of Villains," A younger boy known only as Mustard noted. "You guys thinking of joining the cause?"
"Honestly, I was never one to lead." Shuichi shrugged. "Whatever crazy schemes they have planned to stir up chaos in this country, I could go down for it."
"Indeed, despite their desire to spread chaos, the League also does have its ideals," Atsuhiro noted. "A grand performance for anyone to enjoy is one I can certainly get by."
"What say we turn in our applications, huh?" Shuichi suggested, the other two nodding as they paid for their food and left the diner, sneaking off into the night...
We go for a nice little aftermath to the confrontation with Stain as the League picks up their new members and expands their numbers in preparation for their grand debut as a true criminal organization.
