Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!

Chapter 65: Homecoming?

Mandie and the remains of her ship soon appeared in space again. However, the damage to the ship was rather big and Mandie had to react quickly as it began to crumble into pieces.

"Oh wonderful! As if I didn't get this serviced already!..." She sent as she groaned loudly, as she pressed some buttons.

Her battle suit soon surrounded her body and she was able to breath again. Mandie managed to pull up thankfully before her ship crumbled into pieces. Now, she was free to get out without harm.

Just in time as the remains of her ship broke apart as it was too close to the earth's atmosphere.

"I just had it cleaned too!..."Mandie growled as she tried to pull out of a dive but she couldn't.

Earth's gravity had caught her and she was being pulled down...and fast!

"Oh man, this is gonna be a bumpy ride!..." She went as she quickly pressed some buttons and hoped for the best.

Using her suits advance jet boots, she managed to regain control of her descent and avoid a brutal landing.

"That was too close..." She went, as she landed safely.

Mandie stood there, taking in a breath. Now safe, she let out a sigh of relief.

She felt stronger, lighter even, like there was a weight on her shoulders like she'd been relieved of.

But why?

"Earth feels different, yet familiar all at once..." She thought, pondering on this.

Now that her life was no longer in danger, she recalled what had happened and was furious.

"ARRRGGHHH!iI CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!..."She yelled, forgetting her issue.

She recalled what had happened, how someone placed a dimensional bomb on her ship, no doubt to get rid of her.

Clearly, it didn't work as she was still alive, but it meant her ship was gone. It also meant her message to her people didn't go through, and that traitorous slime Brutis tried to get rid of her and destroy Danny.

"I always knew he was scum...but still, why did that idiot plant a wormhole bomb?..." She wondered, since something seemed off.

This didn't seem like his way, he was more about winning her over or making her give into him, not this. Did he finally give up on trying to marry her and resorted to trying to kill her instead?

"Did he do this or was this someone else's doing?..."Mandie wondered.

Now that her life wasn't in immediate danger, she could think a little more rationally.

However, she deduced this couldn't have been him.

"No, that stubborn idiot is a lot of things, but he wouldn't give up on me after so long..." She said out loud.

No, it wasn't Brutis who planted the bomb. He was too stubborn and prideful to give up on his foolish pursuit of her and even if he did, he is not the sneaky time and he would make a big spectacle of himself to let her know... which meant that he either had an accomplice or there is another traitor among their ranks.

"Whoever it is, they are going to feel my wrath! As soon as I get home!..." She thought, clenching her teeth and her hair sparking in flames.

However, she forced herself to calm down as losing her cool would do little to help right now.

First things first, she had to figure out exactly WHERE she is...and HOW to get home.

But, if the bomb did send her somewhere else in time and space, then that was going to difficult task.

She was starting to get anxious and stressed out.

"What am I gonna do?! This isn't the Earth I have come to love and I have no idea where that stupid bomb sent me! It could be anything from the planet being a lifeless rock or, in what would be an ironic twist, the humans in this world could be a world of conquerors... and Boudacia doesn't exist here!..."She thought, needing to prepare for the worst.

She shook her head, refusing to give up her chance to seeing Danny again.

She had to see what this world had. This was still Earth. Well, a version of Earth where she had no idea what to expect on the surface, but it was her best shot.

Her ship was destroyed and her systems were fried, so she had no idea what could await her on the Earth in this dimension.

"Come on Mandie, you faced a Titan worm as a pup and won over a guy who was once your enemy. You can handle what this planet has to offer..."She thought.

That's when she notice a city in the distance. It gave her an idea.

"Maybe they can aid me. Maybe someone there can fix this..." She said as she picked up the device used to bring her here, which was someone still intact.

She knew this was a long shot, but it was the only shot she could make.

Activating rocket boots, she flew in its direction, hoping to find some form of intelligent, civilized and cooperative human on this planet

She sped up as fast as she could, hoping help could be found. Once she got a closer look, she realized help would be hard to get now. Considering she's been here before.

Mandie soon saw a billboard with the name of a certain town on it. One that she never expected to see again.

A place she once terrorized.

"DIMMSDALE?!.. "She exclaimed, stunned see it.

She now realized why she felt lighter. She was back in her old dimension. Needless to say that this was the shock of a lifetime for the now lost and found alien warrior princess.

With a very audible groan, Mandie had her hands through her big hair, as this just got a whole lot more complicated.

"How bittersweet, I finally return but I have a reason to go back. Irony is crueler than I've ever been..." She said until an idea came to her.

"Wait...didn't Danny once say that natural portals to the ghost zone can appear and lead one there..."She thought, trying to recall those details.

He mentioned something like that during one of their dates, but Mandie was more focused on flirting than listening to him.

Now, she regrets not listening more closely. However, she paused upon realizing a few problems with this hypothetical solution.

"No...even if there were portals from here to that world, I'd never be able to find it without that map Danny told me about and I don't even have my gadgets and my suit has a limited fuel supplies. Gotta think of something else..."She thought, trying to brainstorm.

Soon another idea came to her, but it seemed just as likely as finding a natural ghost portal here. Maybe harder.

She recalled Turner and his fairies, and how it was fairy magic that sent her and her people to Danny's dimension in the first place.

"Wait...if it was their magic that sent my planet to that universe in the first place...maybe they can send me back..."She considered, feeling hopeful for a moment.

However, Mandie knew she's the last person Turner would help, but she needed it.

She was running low on time and patience on getting back to Danny's universe and she didn't have many options to choose from. Especially since she had a feeling that the traitor who sent her here, wasn't done yet.

Which means her parents and her people are in trouble, and maybe Danny too!

She needed to get back and help them.

The warrior princess sighed relunctantly, before putting a determined look on her face.

"I gotta find Turner and get his help...easier said than done but I have few options. It is true that baggers can't be choosers...unfortunately..." She thought, as she jetted towards Dimmsdale.

She did so in hopes of finding the buck tooth warrior who was her only hope of getting her back to the other dimension...and Danny.

Half an hour later

The alien princess searched all over the Earth town to find Turner and his fairies.

She search his school, the park, the mall...any place where he has been known to frequent.

"Where is he?! Don't tell me he is off world right now?!..."Mandie said, desperate to find him.

Mandie was having very little tolerance for any distractions from this backwards version of the Earth over the one that she slowly came to care for, thanks to Danny.

She is still determined, not losing any desire to find Timmy. She kept searching for her only lead home, despite knowing he might not listen to her.

She landed for a moment, wanting to conserve her suits fuel as she tried to figure out her next step.

"It's not like I know him that well, but I figure I'd have found him at some point by now..." She thought before he poofed in front of her.

"WHAT THE?!..."She exclaimed, taken by surprise.

The alien princess was soon faced to face to the young buck tooth warrior who once foiled her plans. Said young warrior was looking at her with shock and anger.

"Mandie!..." Timmy went, glaring at her.

He and his fairies had been having a nice day of wish granting and foiling Crocker's latest attempt to capture his fairies which involved him dressing up as a doctor and trying to do a "house call" as an excuse to search his house for fairies, only for Timmy to see through his disguise, and used his fairies magic to drive him out.

Which resulted in the crazy teacher being caught, thwarted and chased by the cops after Timmy took pictures of Crocker impersonating a doctor and tattled on him.

Now, he and his fairies were going to go get some ice cream to celebrate, only for them to spot the alien princess flying through the air and they panicked.

Now, the bucktooth boy was scared that another enemy was after them, but he was ready to fight.

Both Cosmo and Wanda raised their wants and created Timmy's suit that he uses in case of alien danger.

"Why was he-... Oh right I'd tried to destroy Turner every time I met him before. That somehow slipped my mind the moment I saw him..." Mandie quickly thought.

Timmy aimed a blaster at her, glaring intensely.

"Whoa! Wait a minute!..." She went, stepping back.

"I don't know why you're here, or how you're here, but you're going back to wherever you came from!..." Timmy went.

"Yeah!..." Cosmo went before grinning. "Also, are you here for me?..." He asked quickly.

Wanda then handed him a card she wrote on.

"Read it..." She ordered, edge in her tone.

Cosmo read it.

"Because I am married and therefore cannot be around you..."He read in a flat, unhappy tone, much to Wanda's delight.

"I'm not here to fight you Turner..." Mandie tried to explain. 'That's something I'd never thought I'd say..."She muttered under her breath.

"Don't toy with me!..." Timmy went.

"I'm not here for you, Turner! I'm here beca-..." She then noticed how few fairies he had.

"Wait... where's the baby?..." She asked, recalling the admittedly cute purple fairy baby they had.

"He is at fairy school right now and we were just about to pick him up..." Wanda answered her.

"What about that dog I heard you have now?..." Mandie asked, recalling that bit of info before she left this universe.

There was an awkward silence and none of them made eye contact with her, almost as if she asked about a rather uncomfortable subject.

"We don't talk about him anymore..." Timmy said as if it was something they'd rather not discuss.

"Okayyyyy..."She said, figuring she is better off not knowing about that.

She had other matters to attend to.

Such as getting home in the other universe...and her enemy here may hold the key to sending her back to that universe.

The same universe where her parents, her planet and Danny were.

The alien princess raised her hands in surrender, about to do something that she seldom ever did before Danny came into her life.

She didn't have time to acknowledge the irony.

"Look, Turner. I promise that I'm not here to destroy you, Mark Chang or Earth. I swear I did not come to cause harm to anyone here on this planet..." Mandie promised.

The pink hat wearing boy clearly didn't believe her and kept glaring at her.

"Yeah right, I heard that BEFORE when you hunted Mark down to marry him and when you finally did, you threw him in his dungeon and were planning to destroy Earth!..." Turner said, weapons aimed at her.

"Please believe me! I'm not the same person I was the last time you saw me. Honest!..." Mandie begged.

"A not very likely story!..." Timmy said with a scowl on his face.

The two fairies were also on guard, clearly not trusting her either.

"Timmy is right, you're an evil, lying, backstabbing witch who tries to destroy anyone and anything who gets in your way!..." Wanda said, still holding A grudge against her.

"Yeah! You scary yet beautiful monster..."Cosmo said, only to receive a glare from his wife.

"I mean...not beautiful to me...since I'm married..." He said, not enthusiastically.

Mandie ignored that and rolled her eyes as she steered the conversation right back to her topic.

She needed Turner's help and to prove she meant him no harm. She had the one thing she never expected to do prior to meeting Danny.

She humbled herself and sighed, she knew what she had to do in order to get back to the other Earth.

"You're right..." Mandie answered, looking down.

"What?..." Timmy asked, confused now as Mandie continued to speak.

"I was all those things and even worse things to others and not many of those enemies of mine deserved it. A lot of which I do not I want to admit since you are technically a child..." She said, looking down before she continued.

"I did a lot of bad things. I lied, I manipulated others, I conquered through underhanded methods...I did a lot of terrible things to a lot of innocent people who didn't deserve it..."She confessed, feeling regret now thanks to Danny's influence.

"What's happening?..." Timmy questioned.

Mandie was doing something unexpected, apologizing to her enemy and accept that what she did was wrong.

"You heard me, I have done terrible things..." She said as she admitted to her wrong doings from the past.

Then Mandie, with a quick movement, took her sword off of her belt gently tossing it at Turners feet.

This act surprised Timmy and his fairies as they watched the alien princess practically beg to being sent back towards the universe that she was previously banished in.

Again... what's happening?!..." Timmy questions again, growing more in disbelief.

She even kneeled to her now baffled enemies, much to their shock.

"Turner, I'm not expecting you to forgive me for all the things I've done to you but please...you have to listen to me. You are the only one who can help me now to send me back to where I was banished..." Mandie said as she did something else that neither Turner or his fairies ever expected her to do.M

"Uh..come again?..." Timmy asked.

"You heard me. I humbly request to be sent back to where I was banished to before with the rest of my people and homeworld!..." Mandie insisted, head in the ground as she bowed to him.

"Wait...you WANT to go back to wherever you and your planet were banished to?..." Timmy asked, making sure he understood this request from an enemy.

Mandie nodded, clasping her hands together.

"Yes. I mean it. It's a matter of great importance! Only you can help me!..." She said while the bucktooth child wondered if he was seeing things.

Mandie of all people asking her for help.

"Are we sure this is her?..." Timmy asks his fairies, who made no response.

"Maybe she's gone crazy?..." Cosmo guessed, and for once his wife didn't correct him.

"It's possible..." Wanda said.

Mandie knew full well that Turner and his fairies were extremely cautious with her. So she needed to do something to prove that she was a changed person, but she was currently at a lost on how to do that. She tried to remember the moments that she spent with Danny and all the times she changed from being cruel and ruthless to how she is now.

While Mandie tried to think of a way to prove she's changed for the better, Turner and his fairies kept their distance from the space Princess and remained reasonably cautious around her.

Which was of no surprise to the alien warrior.

"I should try harder to convince them that I'm telling them the truth and that I mean to harm..." She thought.

"Which unfortunately is easier said than done..." She muttered before speaking to the only people that could aid her at her hour of need.

The trio glared at her, still wary of her intentions and a part of her couldn't blame them. However, she really needed to prove to them. How, she wasn't sure, only that she had to make her plea.

"Honest. My planet is in danger and I have a strong feeling that beloved's home world is about to be invaded by members of my own people that are being lead by a traitorous usurper and I need to get back to the other universe to both warn and protect my beloved before he and his entire are in greater danger. I must return to the other universe posthaste. I need you to send me back to where me and my people were banished to..." Mandie begged.

Timmy was surprised to hear this.

"Say, what now?..." He askes.

"You heard me!..." She said desperately "I must return to the other universe posthaste. I need you to send me back to where me and my people were banished to... and send me back to my beloved!..." She insisted pure desperation on her face.

"Your beloved?..."Timmy repeated in disbelief, surprised to hear that Mandie has one of those.

Before Mandie could further explain her situation and plead for help, however that had to wait as someone screamed.

"ALIEN!..." Someone shouted, before running away.

Mandie blinked several times, realizing until bow that she wasn't in her human disguise.

"Oh brother!..." She said as she slapped her forehead in annoyance. "How could I have forgotten this?! Well, it beats people thinking I'm a ghost..."She said.

People began running away from Mandie, there was a time when she would have asserted her superiority over the humans but after meeting her beloved Phantom, she no longer found that prospect appealing.

"Oh great, just great!..." Timmy said sarcastically, knowing he had to unwish some stuff later before this became a problem.

"Don't worry Timmy. Today can't possibly get any worse..." Cosmo absent-mindedly said out out.

That's when Timmy, Wanda, Mark and Mandie facepalmed themselves as the green haired idiot just jinxed it.

"I see he's still the dumb one. I got to remedy this before the green idiot's bad luck kicks in!..." Mandie said as she quickly used the fake-I-fier.

She activated it too fast and ended up turning into a tree with beautiful purple flowers in it, needless to say that Timmy was shocked.

"She has a fake-I-fier too?!..." Timmy asked.

Before he could get an answer, the worst thing imaginable happened.

"HEY TWERP!..." A mean voice shrieked.

Timmy panicked while the disguised Mandie froze as she recognized who it belonged to, while Tommy's fairies instinctly changed into gold fish mode.

"That voice.. No... .it can't be!..." She thought.

She soon watched the owner of the voice appear

A certain evil sixteen year old red head who was ready to cause pain and misery to anyone who got in her way.

"Vicky?!..."Timmy shouted, scared and nervous.

"Of course twerp! Who else?!..." The evil babysitter questioned with a sadistic look on her face.

"Uh... just passing through?..." He asks.

"Nope. Your parents went out to the Cake N' Bacon, and told me to keep an eye on you. You know what that means?!..." Vicky said she pulled out flamethrower, laughing maniacally at the same time.

Timmy saw this and gulped.

"Should I start running?..." Timmy asked his disguised fairies.

"Yes, and fast, sport..." Wanda said.

"Unless you want Vicky to make you dig your own grave again..." Cosmo said cheerfully oblivious.

With that, Timmy ran as he evil babysitter chased after him to continuing tormenting him.

Mandie saw Vicky chase Timmy and his disguised fairies away to terrorize them. The aliens eyes saw the evil redhead and narrowed.

She recalled their last encounter and how her defeat at her hands lead to downfall...and now, she chasing away her only chance to get back home...and to Danny.

Mandie deactivated the Fake-i-fier.

Her eyes narrowed, rage and hatred building within her, her blood boiling with one thought in mind.

Revenge!

"Now this is a rematch I was looking for!..." She went, as she activated her jet boots.

Mandie took off to both both chase after her only chance to send her back to the other universe...

And to settle an old score.
