The time was flying and in the same time it seemed like nothing changed. Justice was growing and by the time she was in the eighth grade teachers were surprised because the girl definitely needed a higher level of education. She had no choice but studied by herself in her free time. The school level wasn't enough for her.

You know teachers are confused and don't know what to do with you. – said once James Gordon who visited the orphanage once a week.

I know. But I'm trying not to show to my classmates that I study by myself after classes.

I'm glad that you doing such an amazing job with your education and knowledge. I heard there is a school for gifted children and Wayne Foundation is the one who is financing this school. It's hard to get in but if you are smart it's not that hard. And you are smart!

But I don't have a chance there that school probably for rich people.

Not exactly it's just happened to be that rich people have better education and they study a lot to get into this school but… Just let me ask around and I see what I can do.

Thank you.

Justice didn't have any expectation about this special school. She knew she wasn't one of those kids who can just go there even if she was smarter than most of them. She was realistic.

The next week James Gordon didn't come to visit orphans. It happened sometimes when he had a lot of work so Justice wasn't paying attention to his absence. They had this big room in the orphanage where the big TV was placed and usually in the evening kids could watch some cartoons. That evening Justice was studying in her room when somebody knocked in the door.

Hey, Justice it's me Evan! Go downstairs and see the TV news. You know Thomas Wayne died!

Justice left the room and didn't say a word to her friend, they went downstairs together and there it was the TV news. The reporter was going on and on repeating that he was on the scene where the Wayne family was killed. He talked about a theater play and an alley. They were showing video of police cars and ambulance and even James Gordon. All he kept saying was "No comments".

You see Justice finally somebody did the right thing! That guy was getting annoying and too rich!

Evan, go to your room! – said teacher. – You shouldn't say stuff like that! The Wayne family helped us a lot!

Helped you a lot… they didn't help me! Ok, ok I'm leaving! – Evan walked up to stairs and turned around to look at Justice.

She was going upstairs as well.

Oh! You don't want to watch the news!?

She didn't answer because she didn't talk to anyone but Gordon. Evan didn't expect an answer but when they went to their separate rooms he wrote her a letter in symbols and squeezed it under Justice's door.

Justice was sitting at the desk thinking about the news. If the person as popular as Thomas Wayne could be killed so easily so it must be rough out there and the city didn't get any better or maybe it was getting worse. She herd the noise under the door and looked back thinking it was a mouse but saw a piece of paper.

"Why didn't you stay to watch the news?" – symbols on the paper asked her

She wrote back in symbols: "The dead people won't rise so there is no news" and she pushed that paper into the gap. She went back to the desk but herd the noise again, turned around and read the paper. Next line of symbols said "Bruce Wayne is alive".

Justice didn't reply and went back to the desk. She knew Evan was waiting for an answer for a while but then left. "One more orphan in the city" – thought Justice and got back to study.
