Heart of a dragon

Chapter 01
It was a beautiful day in mustafu. The sky was clear and there was a very nice breeze. However, unlike everyone else that was enjoying it, there was one who was NOT enjoying it.
Izuku midoriya, a young adult with an angelic countenance, four freckles on each cheek, eyes the color of the purest emeralds, wild and messy green hair with shadows of black closer to his head and eyes that show excitable innocence. However, the innocence that had once shown itself throughout his life was no longer there, as of five minutes ago. He couldn't BELIEVE that his childhood-friend-turned-bully had said what he did.
Flashback
Five minutes before class begins.
"Hey there, you worthless DEKU, what the ever loving FUCK are you still doing here, HUH?!" said a voice that practically OOZED pride. Izuku turned to look towards the source of the voice, albeit VERY reluctantly. After all, if he DOESN'T turn to answer him, izuku would've been attacked by the owner of that voice, YET AGAIN.
"Kachan," izuku said fearfully. "This is a school, I'm SUPPOSED to come." izuku finished saying. "I don't care that you're HERE, you worthless nerd. I want to know WHY you haven't jumped from the roof yet,"Katsuki Bakugou said rather maliciously.
However, before Izuku could say ANYTHING ELSE, the teacher walked in, and class had begun.
(end of the school day)
Just before school let out, Katsuki decided to corner izuku. "Well, answer me, you fucking useless nerd?! Why did you not off yourself, yet?! HUH?!"
Izuku, however, was too terrified to even blink.
Katsuki got tired of izuku being like that, and not answering. "Listen to me, you fucking nerd, if you come to school tomorrow, i WILL KILL YOU! You get me?!" Katsuki said rather menacingly.
Izuku was too terrified to even respond.
"Che, fucking useless nerd" katsuki gumbled. Katsuki and his cronies left, which allowed Izuku to breathe in relief. "I better get home," Izuku said.
Present
Izuku walked home, not paying ANY attention to his surroundings. When he was walking under a bridge, suddenly, a mass of sludge appeared behind him from the sewers.
Dammit, I got careless. I didn't expect ALL MIGHT of all people to show up. I gotta hide, the sludge villain thought. He then saw a "skin suit" for him to use. Ahh~, the PERFECT disguise. The villain jumped onto Izuku's back, and began to cover him. WHAT'S GOING ON?! He cried out worryingly. "Don't worry kid, after about 45 seconds, you won't feel anything ever again," the sludge villain stated, before he began to shove himself down izuku's throat.
After 14 seconds, Izuku was about to pass out from lack of air. Mom, Izuku thought, i'm sorry. Suddenly the manhole cover burst into the air and embedded itself into the bridge above it. That action caused enough noise for the villain to stop what he was doing to look at the source of the noise.
"Never fear, citizens. Why? Because I am here." said the newcomer. "FUCK," said the sludge villain as he tried to force himself down izuku's throat faster (no that it would work, anyway). "Texas SMASH!" the newcomer yelled, before he punched the air in front of him, thereby forcing the villain off (and out) of the boy in front of him. The newcomer started to put the villain into two containers from his shopping bag.
Izuku woke up to something slapping his face and a voice saying "hey, come on, wake up, hey.'' Izuku's eyes opened up. Upon seeing the mountain of muscle above him, Izuku woke up IMMEDIATELY. "A-A-A- All might?!" "Yes, it is I," all might reply. "AAHH, i gotta get your autograph" however upon opening his notebook, he saw that it was already signed. "AAAHHH~ it's already signed. Thank you so much, this will be a family heirloom for generations to come!" HAHA, that autograph is my apology for getting you mixed up in my heroine!" all might be said. "Now stand back. I'm about to go turn this villain in!" all might continue.
However, JUST before all might take off, izuku LATCHED onto his leg. By the time he noticed, they were already in the air. "Hey hey hey, what are you doing?! I love my fans, but this is too much. GET OFF!" "no, I can't let go! If I let go now, I'll die! "Oh, that's a good point," everyone might have realized. Besides, I have a question that only you can answer!" izuku cried out. "Alright, just let me land, first." almight finished.
"Now, young man, what was so important that you risked DEATH to ask me?" all might asked. Can a person get a soulmate, or be a hero, if they're quirkless?" izuku asked. All night was SO shocked that he unintentionally relaxed his muscle form, and became his REAL form. Suddenly, there was a LOT of shite smoke that covered the rooftop.
Izuku STARRED in stunned shock at where all might was. In the place of a MOUNTAIN of a man with enough muscle on him that a 16 ton BOULDER would not even FAZE him stood, there was a walking skeleton of a man that looked like he hadn't eaten in WEEKS and that a stiff breeze would kill him.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!" izuku SCREAMED at the top of his lungs for over five minutes. "WHO ARE YOU?! WHERE'S ALL MIGHT YOU IMPOSTER" izuku screamed out.
"I assure you that I AM all mi- BLERGH'' was as far as the man got, before he vomited blood. Izuku screamed some more. "Sigh, I'm going to show you something, but I want your promise to not go blabbing about it to your friends," the man said. "That's assuming that i even HAVE friends" izuku said while looking at the man with a deadpan.
The man had the decency to wince. "Anyway, my name is Toshinori yagi, and the reason I'm like this is, well-" Toshinori pulled up the side of his shirt, showing a rather GRUESOME scar. Izuku was shocked that he had that. "Pretty gross, right? I got this in a big fight five years back. I lost half of my stomach and one of my lungs. My respiratory system is basically shot to hell," toshinori said. "Five years-? Was it the fight against the toxic chainsaw?" izuku asked. "Wow, you know your stuff," Toshinori was a bit impressed. "But no, chainsaw might have gotten a few good hits in, but he'd never be able to bring me down. This fight was kept out of the media." Toshinori looked at izuku. "Earlier, you asked if it was possible for a quirkless person to be able to have a soulmate and to be a hero, yes?" Toshinori asked. "While there is a VERY slim possibility of a quirkless person getting a soulmate, you cannot be a hero without a quirk," Toshinori said, shocking izuku. izuku 's heart nearly stopped from what all might have said.
And so, unable to hear the rest of what Toshinori was saying, Izuku's head hung, and walked to the door.
a few hours later
As izuku was walking, he suddenly found himself in the forests surrounding musutafu. "What the- how did i end up outside musutafu?! Did i seriously not pay attention to my surroundings?!" izuku berated himself. Before izuku could get TOO deep into his mumbling, he heard a noise.
Roooooaaaaaar
Understandably startled, yet incredibly curious, Izuku went towards the source of the noise. Upon reaching the source of the noise, he saw something that he'd NEVER have thought otherwise, a dragon. To be precise, it was a standard European dragon. It had green scales, odd horns and eyes the color fire.
Also, it was pretty badly hurt.
Understandably, Izuku grew concerned upon seeing an injured dragon. "Hello? Are you awake?" he asked somewhat timidly (no matter what ANYONE says, unless they're INCREDIBLY drunk or dreaming, you WILL be scared upon seeing a dragon. Anyone that denies that, is most likely lying to themselves). The dragon stirred, groaning as it did so.
"Who? Wha?" it groggily said. Then its vision cleared, and it saw izuku clearly for the first time. "Great. Just perfect. The LAST creature I happen to see before my death is some lowly, scrawny pathetic HUMAN" it snarled the last word.
"You're dying?" izuku asked. Yes, you imbecile. Unless you can somehow pull out the sword that is in my side, i will perish by nightfall." the dragon angrily retorted. "Alright, i'll do what i can to pull it out." "wha-?" the dragon started to say, before it was cut off by a sharp amount of pain. "AGH, STOP PULLING YOU IMBECILE! IF I'M GOING TO PERISH, THEN I'D LIKE TO DO SO WITHOUT AGONY RIPPING THROUGH ME!" the dragon yelled in pain. Don't worry, you WILL live, because i WILL NOT allow you to die here!" izuku yelled.
The dragon felt its heart skip a couple of beats, and part of its very SOUL connect to the human. It was touched that the human was trying to save it. What is this feeling? Is this human- the dragon was cut off when it felt a very sharp pain in its side and the human go "GGRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" and suddenly, the sword was out of her side. Izuku was EXHAUSTED. That damn sword was ACTUALLY RESISTING being pulled out. When izuku put all his heart into it, THEN the sword came out. The sword disappeared into motes of light, which went into izuku, not that he knew that.
"Thank you, human," the dragon said. "You're very welcome," Izuku replied. Just then he realized something. "I just realized something, what's your name? Mine's izuku midoriya" "Ah. Right. Well, my name's tohru" the dragon replied, albeit a bit uncomfortably. "I have a quick question, but I hope it's not insulting," Izuku began. "Yes?" the dragon asked. "Are you a boy or a girl?"
Tohru was understandably confused at the question, but then Izuku realized that in her current form, it's hard to tell her gender. "I'm a girl" tohru simply stated.
"Wow," Izuku muttered. "Anyway, do you have a place to stay?" "no, I do not." tohru answered. Well, if you have a human form, can you please change into it? I don't want to end up in a lot of trouble when I bring a giant dragon into the city. Tohru was confused for a moment, but then it clicked for her. "Ah, ok. Changing now," She said.
Suddenly, there was a bright light coming from tohru. Thankfully, it wasn't so bright that it drew the attention of the people of the nearby city. But, it WAS bright enough for izuku to need to cover his eyes, lest he go blind.
"Ok, I'm in my human form," he heard a girl say. When izuku looked, he saw the most beautiful girl that he had EVER seen. On a scale of 1-10, she would be, to him, a 20 out of 10. "Izuku? Why are you staring at me?" tohru asked. "Beautiful" she heard izuku simply say.
Tohru blushed, "what was that?" she asked him. "Huh? Wha?" Izuku was confused, as if he'd snapped back into reality after his mind shut down. "Nevermind," tohru said.
"So, how about we go to your place?" tohru asked. "Ah, right, follow me." izuku said. After roughly a few hours, they arrived at Izuku's apartment.
"Mom, I'm home. And I brought a friend,"Izuku called out. Suddenly there was a loud crashing noise in the kitchen. "Izuku, my baby, what took you so long?!" Inko cried out. Izuku did not get a chance to tell his mother ANYTHING, because she suddenly wrapped him up in one of her bear hugs.
"Um~, excuse me, but i don't think izuku will be able to answer you, ma'am, if you keep squeezing him like that," tohru nervously said. Inko looked towards her son, and saw that he was bypassing blue and beginning to turn purple from a lack of air. "Oh, my," Inko said. With that, she released her son, who GREEDILY gulped HUGE amounts of air.
"IZUKU MIDORIYA, YOU WILL TELL ME WHERE YOU WERE FOR THE LAST SIX HOURS, RIGHT NOW!" "YES, MA'AM," Izuku yelled in fear. Izuku told her that he'd had a bad day, and that he just went for a walk. However, because he wasn't paying ANY attention to where he was going, he ended up in the woods surrounding the city. There, he found someone that was pretty badly injured. He did what he could to help her heal, and they got talking. When he asked if she had anywhere to go, she said that she doesn't. So, he invited her to stay with them.
When Inko heard about it, she calmed down. "Izuku, I'm glad that you FINALLY made another friend aside from katsuki. Tell me, is she your new girlfriend?" Inko asked slyly at the end.
Izuku turned NEON RED. hell, he was even steaming, like a freshly steamed lobster. "MOM!"
Inko just chuckled. "I'm just messing with you, izuku," said inko. Inko then turned towards the girl, who she'sd been ignoring up to that point. "Hello, dear, my name's inko. Welcome to our home."
"Hello, inko. Izuku was a gentleman, helping me heal, comforting me, and giving me a place to stay. I'm grateful to him,"Tohru said, with a bit of a blush covering her cheeks.
Well, dear, why don't you join us for dinner? Inko asked. "I would love to," tohru said.
After dinner
"Well, i'm EXHAUSTED BEYOND BELIEF *yawn*,"I'm heading straight for bed, " said izuku. "Good night izuku/night izuku," said inko and tohru.
"Let's go to bed, tohru. You can use the guest bedroom across the hall from Izuku's room," Inko said. "Thank you, inko," tohru said, since she was feeling tired as well.
Sometime during the night, a glow suddenly started coming from Izuku's room.
Next morning
We see the morning is full of sunshine, with not a cloud in the sky. Suddenly, the scene changes to Izuku's room. We see what izuku's room is like. It honestly looks like a damn SHRINE to all might. However, it looks like izuku managed to pack some of it, before the need for sleep became too great.
We turn to look towards izuku's bed. Shockingly, Izuku's not alone in his bed. Suddenly, izuku wakes up. Izuku's eyes blearily looked around, until they landed on the other figure in his bed.
"Oh, looks like tohru's in my bed?" izuku muttered sleepily. "Huh, cool" and with that, Izuku went back to sleep. For all of five seconds. Izuku's eye's SHOT OPEN. he looked towards tohru. Once his brain comprehended that tohru was in his bed, izuku SHOT out of bed, while panicking. Dimly, he noticed that he and tohru had their clothes still on. so, that was a comfort (he didn't realize that he was missing his shirt). Izuku felt a breeze on his chest, so he looked down. He was confused, where's my shirt?! Then he noticed a strange pattern on his arm: it looked like a strange language (it's LOTR elvish). Izuku ran to the bathroom, looked in the mirror, and SCREAMED. It looked like the markings started on his right hand, then went up his arm and stopping just above his right eye.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~"
His scream woke up his mom, tohru and ALL of the people that live in that particular apartment building, as well as the three apartment buildings around izuku's. "IZUKU, WHAT'S GOING ON?" inko and tohru asked. Izuku turned to face them, and they saw the markings. Inko fainted, while tohru was shocked.
"MOM?!" izuku cried out. With that, that snapped tohru out of her shocked state, and she and izuku took inko to lay her on the couch in the living room. "Tohru?" asked izuku. "Yes?" replied tohru. ""Why were you in my bed?" izuku asked. Tohru chuckles sheepishly, "i didn't think that would happen, but i think i sleepwalked" said tohru.
Inko then woke up. "Uh, what happened?" inko asked. Upon seeing her son shirtless, with writing going down on one side of his body, it all came back to her. "I see i was not dreaming," inko stated.
"Mom, do you know what these markings are?" Izuku asked.
"Yes, dear, those are mate markings. They only appear when you're in contact with your soulmate for the first time. Tohru, let's check to see if you have them, as well," inko said. With that, inko dragged tohru to the bathroom and started to undress her. Inko and tohru saw the SAME markings that were on izuku, on tohru's right arm (tohru was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, so only her top was taken off).
After being amazed at the markings, tohru put her shirt back on. "Izuku, he's my soulmate," tohru said happily. "Looks like it, dear," inko said kindly.
"Mom, i'm leaving for school, i'll be late, otherwise," called out izuku. "Ok dear, have a good day," inko called out to her son. Although, only tohru, thanks to her dragon hearing, was able to hear izuku mutter "i REALLY doubt it'll be a good day." tohru was worried when Izuku said that, but she didn't want to worry inko, so she didn't say anything.
Aldera high
Upon entering the classroom, the class quieted, though they were rather curious about the markings that they could see on his right hand and the right side of his face. Katsuki, in particular, looked like he wanted to LITERALLY KILL izuku.
DAMN USELESS DEKU OF A NERD! HE DIDN'T FOLLOW ORDERS! WHEN SCHOOL ENDS, I'LL MAKE HIM FOLLOW THE ORDERS I GAVE HIM! Katsuki angrily thought.
End of the school day
"DEKU, YOU USELESS FUCKING NERD! WHY DID YOU NOT FOLLOW MY ORDERS TO OFF YOURSELF, HUH?! ANSWER ME!" katsuki yelled, not caring that the teachers could hear him.
"Katsuki, you are not my parent, you are not a government official, and you are NOT a hero. If anything, you are more akin to a VILLAIN than a hero," izuku said in a rare show of confidence. Everyone that heard izuku say that was stunned. Katsuki was stunned, as well, before he became PARTICULARLY enraged.
"Deku~" katsuki growled out. "By the time I'm done with you, you will WISH that you had followed my orders to off yourself. After he said that, Katsuki gave Izuku a beating which NONE at the school had EVER seen.
30 minutes later
"*Huff huff* I hope that you learned to follow my orders, you useless deku," katsuki said. After beating up izuku to the brink of death, katsuki left, certain that izuku would follow orders, this time. Soon, I don't know when, but soon, I WILL put katsuki in HIS place. To show him that he is NOT #1! Izuku thought to himself.
After a few minutes, Izuku was able to walk. Not wanting mis mother or tohru seeing him like he is, Izuku decided to go for a walk. While walking, izuku was having an internal dialogue.
Why does katsuki act like that?! It's because he was CONSTANTLY praised for his damn quirk, and NOBODY reprimanded him. The internal debate went along those lines, until izuku heard ANOTHER pained roar.
Izuku then worried that the one he heard would perish if he doesn't do something. Upon actually looking around him, he saw that he was now at musutafu beach. He got around the pile of garbage he was in front of, just to stop in amazement and horror, for he saw an odd creature. However, the creature was not what was horrifying. What was horrifying, was the fact that there were FIVE swords in this creature.
Izuku panicked and asked "who are you? What happened"
Groan "wha?" the creature looks at izuku. What did you ask, you pitiful creature?" i asked who you were, and what happened" i'm feeling a bit of deja vu, here, izuku thought. "I am fafnir, creature. As to how i ended up like this, i was ambushed."
Oh no, stay here, i'll be back with tohru, she should know how to help," izuku said. "Tohru? She's a friend of mine. How do you know of her?" "well, i saw a dragon that was injured in forest outside of the city, i convinced the dragon that i'll pull the sword out of her. I did, then we talked and introduced ourselves to each other. Then i invited her to my place for her to stay, since she had nowhere to go." "i see. It's nice that tohru received the help she needed. Fafnir pondered something for a few seconds, do you think that you can pull out the swords from my body? I would like to die without the pain they're causing," asked fafnir.
"Sure, i can do that," confirmed izuku. The process of removing those five swords went by much faster than the one that was in tohru's side.
Groan "thank you, human. Now for your reward," fafnir started. "Reward?" izuku asked. "Yes, you have ensured that i would die in peace. I wish for you to partake of my flesh and blood," "you want me to EAT YOU?!" exclaimed a shocked izuku. "Yes, this way, i can live on for a bit, to teach you how to use my abilities and, if those marks are what i believe them to be, you will get to live as long as tohru. You wouldn't want to break her heart, would you?" said fafnir. Izuku thought about it, but the thought of breaking tohru's heart caused his heart to twist for some reason. "Very well. I will partake of your flesh and blood, "izuku promised. "Thank you, human,"fafnir said. With those final words from him, fafnir died. "Well," izuku started, "time to honor my promise." and with that, izuku began to eat fafnir's corpse. While it tasted disgusting, at first, it's flavor changed to his favorite food. The same happened with the blood.
Surprisingly, izuku manage to eat all of the flesh, including the organs, and managed to drink all the blood. The only organs that izuku did NOT eat were the brain (he couldn't reach it) and the genitals (izuku thought that was disgusting, no matter the flavor). Fafnir-san, i have fulfilled my promise to you. After izuku took a few steps away from the remains of fafnir's corpse, the swords disappeared into motes of light. The same happened with the remains of fafnir's corpse.
I think it's time i went home, izuku thought. And with that thought in mind, izuku went home.
