Chapter 81:Opening Doors and Hearts.
"As you can see here we've spared no expense or effort in making sure that not only do the Beledon have not only all the room they could need to grow but also the infrastructure to support them, but the Beledon are not the sort of people to handle charity well they like to earn what they have through hard work and sheer effort, which as you can see here is in boundless supply," Liam Silver-Diamondscale said gesturing around himself to the large farming community that had sprung up on the rolling hills where Beledon farmers tilled the fields and then back around to the large blacksmiths where there where smiths churned out new fittings for homes.
Surrounding him were not only his own pack all dressed in formalwear in the form of business-style blouses, jackets and skirts for the occasion but also Smoke and his pride all dressed in their Hunter armour showing the best of Clan unity to both the visiting Governing Pride of Raptoria and the Royal Pack of the Serpentinus.
Jack Mason himself had asked Liam to kick off the tour of the newly formed Beledon territories for their visiting guests so they could see not only how the rescued Beledon had settled in but where their own investments in the cause had been put to use while also showing how Clan Mason could be trusted to handle a crisis of this magnitude.
So Liam with the help of both his pack and Smoke's pride had started things off by showing the visiting dignitaries around the capital of Clan Mason before taking a ride on the monorail across to Beledonia the new capital of the Beledon territory before giving them a tour of the city and its infrastructure, showing them everything from the hospital that was set up there as an extension of the great hospital hive where Xenos were teaching the Beledon not only new medicines and techniques but all about the other Clan species as well.
Then it had been on to the industrial sectors showing how the Beledon were faring in taking on the challenges of new modern industries and handling the materials and machines needed to refine and produce said wonders.
Now finally they stood outside the new school as all of the dignitaries watched the young Beledon of a variety of ages running and playing in the yard as if they had no cares in the world.
It was obvious to Liam that they also noticed the two Saviours on duty there watching over the children as they played, both were stood tall and proud in their deep blue armour but neither was above playing with the children when the opportunity arose and much to queen Ciri's amusement the human male guard a man name Shamus caught hold of a large errant ball that bounced his way before bouncing it a few times with his hand then set off into the fray of screaming children as he rushed from one side of the court to the other with all of them in hot pursuit only to dunk the ball through a large hoop.
Pretty soon the kids on the team he'd scored a point against in mock outrage had convinced his partner a large Yautja male called Servel to help them get vengeance and the pair squared off on the court with the kids forming up behin their new playmates like two opposing armies ready to go to war.
That's when Liam spied another group approaching and he breathed a sigh of relief as he saw Jack Mason and Tik eleth Mason along with Ketra and Saviour First Class Jay Mathers heading towards them, along with them were the two strangers who had followed the Path and had ended up in their charge.
"Please forgive our tardiness honoured guests we've had a bit of a situation arise," Jack said as he drew level with the group.
All eyes were instantly drawn to the two strangers in their midst and Liam instantly recognised the mass flicking of tounges from all of the gathered Serpentinus to be powerful curiosity.
"That's quite alright Grand Patriarch we've spent a most enjoyable morning touring both your territory and this newly founded Beledon enclave with your second in command young Seeker Silver-Diamondscale here who I must say is a credit to both his lucky pack and the good people of Clan Mason not to mention your Seekers of course, he has been most enlightening on how our relief efforts have been used and I believe I speak for my entire pack when I say we are most impressed with the progress you have all made in such a short time indeed," Queen Ciri said with a radiant smile and a flick of her regal tongue in Jack's direction.
"As indeed are we, the Guardian of Males here and his lucky pride were just explaining to us how you have sought to not only instruct the Beledon children in their time-honoured traditions but on those of Clan Mason to create a form of unity between the two from the ground up so to speak, he told us all about the exchange programs going on between the schools in the Clan Mason capitol and here so that the younglings from your schools can come here to learn all about the Beledon and their ways but also how they do the same in your schools, quite marvellous we must say," the Raptorian Governing pride said in that group speak of theirs.
"Clan Mason and yourselves we, not just instrumental in our rescue but in the building of a new future for my people, there simply are no words to express our gratitude to you all for your intervention on our behalf, it is a debt that no Beledon will ever shirt or forget," Ketra said proudly her new Seeker's armour glinting brightly in the hot sun.
"Indeed and glad we were to assist, we too know what it is to be indented in such a way, it was Clan Mason that showed up at our door in our hour of need and they showed us there were good people out there in the depths of space who would assist not because they stood to gain but because it was simply the right thing to do," Queen Ciri said turning to look at the large Beledon Dream Warrior with a warm smile.
"Indeed it was the same for us, one moment we were battling for the very survival of our species to prevent a vile and merciless enemy from taking our beloved males kicking and screaming from their homes and the arms of their beloved prides and then seemingly out of no-where comes this Clan of warriors with fire in their hearts and justice in their souls dropping into our jungles armed and ready to stand with us to protect what was ours, with their assistance we not only repelled the vile invaders but we found a freedom on our own home world that we had never had," the Governing Pride said happily.
"There was one question that both myself and my pack wished to ask of you however," Queen Ciri asked turning to Jack Mason.
"Of course your highness please ask away," he said in his very best statesman voice and Liam couldn't help but smile, the man was not just a born warrior but a born diplomat as well.
"It is our understanding that thanks to the records that have been sent to us detailing the saved populace of Beledon that there were quite a lot of orphaned younglings and we would like to know what is being done to remedy this dire situation?" Queen Ciri asked and Jack Mason nodded and then gestured with his hand to a large building at the centre of the city easily visible.
"First thing we did was to build an orphanage to ensure that every single cub had a warm bed, food on their plate and toys to play with it is staffed by both Saviours and Battle Angels twenty-four seven, and adoption efforts have been put in place to ensure that every single cub is rehomed as fast as possible both with other Beledon and with families within Clan Mason, to date we have effectively rehomed fifty per cent of the orphaned cubs," he explained.
"Are you opposed to them being rehomed off world say among our peoples?" the Raptorian Governing pride asked and Jack shook his head.
"Not at all governors though I would stress to any Raptorian prides interested in adoption of one of these wonderful cubs to do their proper research regarding their needs beforehand take one look at Seeker Mathers there and then at one of your fellows and I'm sure you'll follow my logic," he said with a warm smile as they all turned to look up at the massive Beledon Seeker.
"I would also stress that any cubs rehomed off world be given access to information regarding their birthing species, we wish every single one of these poor cubs to grow up knowing exactly who they are and where they come from if they are rehomed on another world we want them to know that it was nothing more than an act of pure love that took them there nothing more," Tik eleth said and both the Royal Pack and the Governing Pride nodded their heads in agreement.
"Well excellent I'm sure the embassies here can transmit up-to-date data to your homeworlds to be disseminated among your people for consideration," Jack said and this seemed to make all of them very happy.
"So what was the pressing issue that delayed you if you do not mind me asking, I feel that it has somthing to do with the two beings flanking you whom we've yet to be introduced to?" Queen Ciri asked and Jack nodded.
"Indeed your highness, Clan Mason as you are no doubt aware been spearheading the effort to track down those responsible for this heinous atrocity and it appears that we may have had a breakthrough of the most fortuitous and unexpected variety," he said gesturing to the pair and suddenly Ciri's eyes went wide and her tongue went crazy.
She slithered rapidly up to the pair and began to circle them looking at the rather uncomfortable-looking Velons from a variety of angles, "Is it my imagination or are they the same race as the one who sent you that transmission you sent to our intelligence packs?" she said and Jack nodded.
"Well spotted your highness indeed they are, they call themselves Velons and these two here have come seeking our assistance regarding the very same problem we wish to solve forthwith," he said.
"Well this sounds both promising and curious indeed," the Raptorian Governing pride said.
"Indeed we've taken the liberty of convening a council meeting in a room in the Seeker temple, the Beledon elected their own representatives to join us there as well despite them naming both myself and my beautiful wife as their high king and queen I thought it would be for the best to have Beledon eyes and voices involved in this discussion," Jack said gesturing to a shuttle that he must have signalled when everyone was distracted that was now descending towards them.
"Agreed I would very much like to hear their perspectives on all of this," Queen Ciri said.
The shuttle landed and immediately two Saviours stepped out and stood guard saluting the group as they approached, "Thank you, Saviours," Tik eleth said as she stepped aboard and helped everyone to find their seats.
To their surprise Liam, Smoke and Jay were asked to attend along with their spouses to add more voices to the chorus and more opinions and ideas to the mix.
So once all were aboard the shuttle whisked them off to the Seeker temple where the group headed into the large meeting room and passed all of the training and meditating Seekers who as one snapped to attention at the presence of their Grand Patriarch and Matriarch, Liam could see why they chose the Seeker temple because, like the training grounds of the Hunters and the Saviours, it was a place that showed true unity, all of the species working together for the betterment of themselves and the Clan.
Humans, Yautja, Raptorians, Serpentinus and now Beledon all working together to become Seekers, the only ones missing from this little mix were the Xenos but there was a contingent of War Angels training with the Seekers to learn how to fight Nightmare Assasins and also a Battle Angel medical team just in case of accidents which happen during training even with the strictest safety protocols.
Liam noted that one of the Velons seemed truly fascinated by the training going on and stopped for a moment to watch a pair of Seekers who were sparring in one of the many training areas the place had.
The pair consisted of a Yautja female Tamer called L'Ren and a male human Soul Knight called James, Liam turned and watched also as the pair began their clash, they moved in rapid sequence harrying each other with punches and kicks that came so fast only another Dream Warrior would have seen them move Liam could see James's plan unfolding.
He was using a very well-tried and tested technique when dealing with a far larger opponent like a Yautja which was to frustrate them using your size and speed advantage to get under their guard and harass them with small testing jabs not designed to do much in the way of damage but to annoy your opponent by the fact that you got through their guard, it was like a kind of non-verbal taunting.
It worked as well because Liam could feel L'Ren's anger building like a burning red pulsing in her aura until it exploded, she let out a tremendous roar and dashed forwards trying to grab the nimble little human before her only for him to vanish before her eyes and sweep her legs sending her flying face first into the canvas.
"Point James, he got you again L'Ren how many times do I have to say it don't let your anger influence your movements, store it, use it for when it serves best, use it to enhance your strength not compromise your wisdom," Ryan Mason said appearing on the sidelines of the ring like a half Yautja phantom.
"Yes Patriarch, sorry Patriarch," she said as James offered her a hand to her feet which she graciously accepted.
"Don't be sorry L'Ren as someone who has as much Yautja blood flowing in my veins as ooman I know the struggle only too well, you need to work on your focus, keep a level head and see what your opponent is doing, granted that's easier said than done when the opponent is one of our Soul Knight brothers because if there are masters of misdirection and illusion in this plane of existence it's them but that's why we train, to overcome those shortfalls and to strengthen ourselves, now let's try this again," Ryan said gesturing to the ring.
"Yes Patriarch," both of them said in unison and took their stances again making Liam smile, Ryan truly was an amazing trainer he seemed to just know exactly what someone needed to hear in order to not only strive for the best but to give them the confidence they needed to achieve it.
Adesus turned to rejoin the rest of the group as Jack and Tik led them into the waiting conference room where a large round table was set up and the pair guided the various groups to their seats, the Beledon representatives in the form of Lady Layala and Lord Beltran were already present and the pair stood respectfully as the group entered the room.
They were greeted warmly by both the Serpentinus Royal pack and the Raptorian Governing Pride before all took their seats at the table, the outliers like Liam and his pack were seated around the table as well with handy name placards telling everyone where to sit.
Liam instantly noticed his own seat was a human chair in amongst four comfortable-looking pillows designed for Serpentinus to sit comfortably, there were two on either side of his seat so he would be planted square in the middle of his pack, this was obviously Jack Mason's doing as the man never missed a trick when it came to studying the cultures of other races and learning how best to not only appeal to them but to honour them as well.
Liam noted that the two Velons had been seated next to Jack and Tik an obvious showing of unity here, infact it was Jack who was the first to speak up, "Alright ladies and gentlemen we've gathered you all here because of a grave situation that has arisen, know we are all aware of the heinous and cowardly attack on the Beledon homeworld that resulted in our new friends and allies the Beledon now being among us here on our beloved world and the first thing I would like to do is to say a massive thank you on behalf of Clan Mason to both our allies the Serpentinus and the Raptorians for their swiftness and overwhelming response to our plea for aid on behalf of these good and noble people," Jack said gesturing to both groups.
"As would we, your actions that fateful and hateful day spared the lives of a great many innocent souls our own included and I believe we speak for all Beledon when we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all here for your generosity in both spirit and material," Lady Laya said standing up alongside her husband to salute the table.
"You are very welcome both it was our distinct honour to aid our allies Clan Mason and our Raptorian sisters in this very worthy endeavour and it pleases us greatly to see all that has been achieved by your people in the days since it speaks very highly of the spirit and fire of the Beledon people," Queen Ciri said.
"Thank you your highness your words honour us greatly," Lord Beltran said bowing to the Serpentinus monarch.
"Indeed we echo the sentiments of our Serpentinus sisters it is heartwarming to see what Clan Mason has done for you and it speaks very highly of your people that we have already seen members of your race among the great sections of their Guardian Core including their exhausted Hunters a branch that holds an extra special place in the heart of all Raptorians as it is the branch of the Guardian of Males himself, his image is still displayed all over Raptoria as an inspiration to all males everywhere, it says that they too can be strong while relying on and loving their pride, then together there is nothing they cannot overcome and achieve!" the Raptorian Governing Pride said shooting Smoke and his pride a very knowing glance which made the softly spoken Smoke blush crimson while his pride simply hugged him from all sides.
"Thank you honoured Governers your words are most kind," Lady Laya said smiling and bowing to them.
"We would also like when there is time to discuss with you the possibility of transferring some of the Beledon orphans that were unable to be rehomed into our care I know that there will be prides queuing up around the cities to sign up for the chance to home one of them, Clan Mason is held in high regard among all Raptorians and the chance to aid the Clan in such a noble endeavour as the protection and raising of younglings is the noblest endeavour there is," the Raptorians continued.
"I would welcome this lady governs," Lord Beltran said with a smile.
"Ok on to the next matter at hand and undoubtedly the one which has probably got everyone most curious, our two mystery guests here, we took the liberty of updating their translators with Clan Mason versions direct from the science hive so they can now speak all alliance languages, so ladies please introduce yourselves and please tell us your tale," Jack Mason said gesturing to the two Velons to take the centre of the circular table.
The pair stood and moved to the centre turning to look at each group in turn, "My name is Adesus I am a Guardian of Life, a protector of my people and of the sacred blood we all share, it is my sworn duty to protect and care for the fragile balance of life upon our beloved homeworld Velona and to guard it with my life, this is Feris she is a hand of Mycelia that is someone who has bonded with an ancient lifeform that inhabits one of the continents of our homeworld, she is ancient and incredibly wise, some say she is all knowing but I do not know if that is true but what I do know is it is because of her that we stand before you today, she forsaw the cowardy attack on our homeworld coming, she saw the Clan Ruara upprising and she saw all the death and destruction it would bring if it was successful, the bad news is that it was, as of the day we left Clan Ruara have control of all Velona and they seek to rule it with an iron fist, to make Velona a threat to any that dare oppse it, but this is not the Velon way, we are peaceful we value life for its beauty and simplicity not its value in any other form," Adesus said.
"The All Mother sent us out into the depths of space to seek out the Godslayer and the Breaker of Chains, she told me that they would help us to free Velona and to put the balance back in place, that they would help us, it took us far longer than we would have liked by we tracked down these two the pair your call Jack Mason and Tik eleth Mason and we pled our case to them by following the path of the Unchained Heart, a tome sent out into the depths of the great black ocean itself as a bacon of hope to all who read its words, a path to freedom from persecution for loving differently, we followed its words and its clues and it led us to Clan Mason who brought us to the air we sought, Jack Mason reached into Adesus's mind and he saw the truth of our struggle now we stand before you both aggrived and humbled in the face of what a member of our species has done but still we ask, please help us, please help free velona from the grip of a vile madman," Feris said tears rolling down her snout.
Jack Mason stood up and stepped into the centre of the room, "In order to show you all the weight of their words and the truth I will show you what I took from her mind so that you may weigh it for yourselves, so please clear your minds and walk with me now as I show you truth raw and unfiltered, please brace yourselves," he said reaching out his hands.
Purple energy crackled around him and Jack lifted into the air in a hover before tendrils of purple light arced out and joined the minds of all gathered Liam included and as one they felt the memories that he had pulled from the Velon girl Adesus worm their way into their own minds, joining with their own memories until the two couldn't be described as separate any more but as one unified whole.
When he was done Jack disconnected and lowered himself to the floor the energy subsiding, "Well we must say that was quite an incredible experience, we had read about Dream Warrior memory infusion from our intelligence reports but experiencing it is quite another thing entirely, it's so intimate and oddly gratifying," the Raptorians said as they shook their little heads to clear them making their feathers ruffle.
"Yes it is quite potent is it not? We have learned a great deal about it and other things since the return of a great many of our beloved ghost Slitherers who now sit with their own place in the Royal Guard a position known as the Queen's Ghosts," Queen Ciri said proudly.
"We must say these memories are incredibly disturbing, what this Adem has done is monstrous indeed, at the very least he needs to pay for his actions against the Beledon but we would also say that we have a great opportunity here to not only do some good in the universe but to also show the very reason that this alliance exists in the first place, to protect the innocent while driving the forces of this Darkness and more specifically this Dark Seed from worlds like our own, we cannot allow its influence to stand on Velona or the consequences could be quite dire," the Raptorian Governing Pride said.
"Agreed what kind of example would we be setting as an alliance if we ignored the plight of those innocent people? The Velons are not responsible for the actions of this vile man Velon or not, imagine what would have happened to my people if Clan Mason had simply ignored our plight in our time of need and simply flown on by!" Queen Ciri said with passion and fire in her voice as he flicked her tongue defiantly at an unseen foe.
"Indeed we think the same noble representatives, if Clan Mason and yourselves had not come to our aid on that fateful day then the beledon people would have been nothing more than a note in someone's journal somewhere, there would be nothing left of our culture or our history let alone our people but instead here we stand now ready to lend our blades to this worthy fight it is a chance to not only carve the vengeance of all those innocent lives out on that vile man's hide but also to show that the Beledon will not go quietly into the night, we will stand and fight beside our brothers and sisters of Clan Mason whatever their battle, the Beledon people will be right there at their side to meet it head on!!" Lady Layla said with such fire that even Tik eleth looked impressed.
"Well said Lady Layla I couldn't have said it better myself," Tik said nodding her head and clicking her mandibles.
"Well then it's time to cast your votes honoured representatives vote for war or diplomacy," Jack said gesturing to the buttons before the leaders of the major groups and before he could even turn around all had pressed the one that said war.
"So be it the decision is made Clan Mason and its allies are going to war on behalf of the Velon people, thank you for your input honoured representatives, we will begin the preparations here I suggest you do the same you may use the quantum communications networks at your embassies to inform your homeworlds of this decision and we will inform you when we have a plan of action to propose but for now we must leave you as I am sure you are aware there is much to be done," Jack said as all parties rose from the table.
"Indeed and thank you for the invitation here Grand Patriarch and Matriarch it has been a wonderful experience coming to your homeworld, one that I do hope that we will get to do again soon though hopefully under much better circumstances," Queen Ciri said slithering up to shake hands with the air of them.
"A sentiment we echo also," the Raptorian Governing Pride said doing the same while also then queueing to shake hands with Smoke and his pride, it seemed that boy really did have himself a fan club on Raptoria that reached even the highest levels of government, who knew that a simple act of mercy would have such far-reaching concentrations?
The two groups also shook hands with the Beledon and the two Velons before they departed then Jack turned to Liam, "Alright there's a lot of work to be done, while the Grand Matriarch rallies her hunters we'll work on getting the Seekers ready and up to speed, there's a lot to be done, I'll have Ryan give his sister a shout in order to start getting the fleet ready," he said and Liam nodded.
"What about those two?" Liam asked nodding towards the two Velons who were standing talking to Lady Layla and Lord Beltran along with Jay and Ketra.
"We need to assign them a guard team, I know that the Beledon council have put out the word among their people that they are friends of Clan Mason and that they are not to be touched, now it's not that I don't trust them but grief is a very powerful motivator and given how many here have lost loved ones we would be foolish to not act in their best interest, a team of four should suffice and I want the message to be loud and clear they have the protection of the Clan untied behind them, so make it multi-species and multi-service, I want all who see it to know that the Clan has their backs," he said and Liam nodded.
"Gotcha boss I'll get right on it," he said opening his wrist comp an idea forming in his mind already on how best to send this message.

Markus Reinhard strode down the corridors of the Seeker temple with purpose in his every step, it wasn't every day that you got summoned by the great Serpentinus wrangler and second in command of the Soul Knights himself though as a Tamer Markus answered to Ryan Mason though one would be a fool to ignore a request from Liam Silver-Diamondscale.
As he stepped into the room he'd been summoned to he found an odd little group standing before him who all turned to look as he entered, there was a Raptorian male dressed in the blues of the Saviours, a Beledon male dressed in the gold of the Hunters, a Xeno female in the fire red of the War Angels and now him in the blue silver of the Seekers, they were all carrying the same kind of duffle kit bag that he was which indicated they were being deployed somewhere.
Stood at the centre of this odd little group was Liam Silver-Diamondscale along with his pack and the two beings that had been creating such a stir within the Clan over the last few days, Velons he believed they were called.
"Ahh, Markus good now we're all here I'll explain what's going on, this here is Adesus and this is Feris, they are Velons of the planet Velona, they have come to us in order to gain the help of the Clan in freeing their homeworld from a maniac dictator who has seized control of it," Liam said and that's when it clicked in Markus's mind, they were from the same species that had killed the Beledon homeworld, it also explained that a rather sour look on his comrade's face as he looked down at the pair.
Liam turned and gestured to the pair and then continued, "As you can imagine tensions will be running high as the Clan is gearing up to go to war here, the Grand Patriarch wishes to make a statement to dissuade any grief from overspilling and becoming something more serious, that's why he instructed me to assemble this team, you are to watch over Adesus and Feris and to give them a tour of our home, I want you to really show them all that makes Clan Mason great and what it really stands for, this is also a twenty-four-seven gig hence why I have chosen all of you because I know you are all unhunted and will not have jealous spouses showing up at my door demanding to know where I've sent their beloved one off to, quarters have been arranged for the whole team as well as our new Velon friends here at the temple," Liam said transmitting a key code to all of their wrist comps.
"Ok boss we expecting any kind of trouble?" Markus asked glancing at the received keycode and instructions on how to reach the suite arranged for them, he knew it was one of the suites reserved for visiting dignataries.
"Hopefully not, the Grand Patriarch and Matriarch trust the Beledon to do what is right and not what grief tells them they should do but the Grand Patriarch is a cautious man and as a Seeker, you should know he leaves nothing to chance so he has arranged this team not only to serve as a deterrent but also as a message, he wants the people to know that Clan Mason as a whole stands behind the Velons and will do all in its power to assist them, that's why there is a representative from the four major combat branches here, as a senior Seeker I am placing you in charge of it as you hold the highest rank here, so that's all get to it Guardians," Liam said saluting them all.
Every one of them returned his salute as he headed out of the door leaving the two Velons along with the team, "Alright team first introductions and then we'll take our new friends down to the suite and pick ourselves a room each to stow our gear and then we'll start the tour savvy?" Markus said turning to face the group and gesturing to the large Beledon male on his left to go first with introductions.
"I am Victus Longhorn of the proud Northen cloud walkers and now of the Hunters of Clan Mason I take my oaths seriously and will give my heart and blood to defend them," the proud looking long furred Beledon male said flicking his head so that his braided red fur shimmed and the beads woven into it clicked against the metal rings around his long horns.
"I'm Lusious Littletail I'm a Raptorian male and I came here to Clan Mason after they freed my people from the scourge of the Scalathor and Draconis on my homeworld, I was inspired by the noble deeds of the Guardian of Males who stood bravely in defence of innocent males and children in the face of a vile mimic who wished to devour them alive in one of our recreation zones, he alone protected them and showed me exactly what a single male driven by purpose could achieve, I came here in the hope that like him I too could become strong enough to protect people and to defend the innocent, now look at me I'm a fully badged Saviour who wears the sacred shield upon my chest as I like my brothers and sisters stand as a bulwark against any who would harm the defenceless," the little Raptorian Saviour said proudly his passion filled voice sounding a little chirpy.
Markus moved his finger over and pointed at the female Xenomorph who stood proudly as his attention fell on her, "I am Levi Sharptooth of the War Angel Hive our queen was rescued from vile humans who were running experiments on her and on all of her surviving children, it was Clan Mason who broke into the facility that housed us and tore us from their grasp shielding us behind their mighty Guardians and giving us a new home among them, our queen swore to uphold the principles of Clan Mason and to join them in their fight against evil, our hive is sworn to protect the Clan and to fight its enemies with the fury of Angels, hence why they call us the War Angels," she said proudly lifting her long domed head so that the light glinted off the little valkyrie wings that ran along her helmet in gold and red.
