Neb: Domori isn't himself as of late. His other personas seem to be taking control, and the people who ground Domori to reality are no where to be found. His sister is away, his rivals are away, and his apprentices seem to be off doing their own thing. He was hoping Hiro could be a new potential rival/ student, but the last battle he had with the boy completely changed his mind on that. I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, or any other forms of Beyblade. I hope you enjoy the fanfic.

Domori was back at his Aunt's Watch Shop helping her repair some broken pocket watches. He changed the gears, and cleaned the dials, and before he knew it, the watches begun ticking again. He smiled at his work before heading to the counter. "Go ahead and call the Ito's over, their watches are ready."

"Excellent work again Domori," his aunt complimented. "You certainly are talented when it comes to fixing watches."

"Thanks Aunt Paula," Domori smiled.

"Domori, is everything ok?", Paula asked. "I ran into a few friends of yours a while back. They suspected that you were traumatized when you were locked in that refrigerated Walk In."

"I told you I was fine didn't I," Domori responded in an aggravated tone.

"It's like I'm looking at a different person when you are out there blading," Paula shook her head. "You use to be buried in the blueprints you'd draw, but now your going after new bladers and humiliating them."

"They should learn to take the loss on the cheek," Domori argued. "I did when I lost to Lui, I did when I lost to Free, and I did when I lost to Aiger. Those battles only made me stronger. You know what, I continue to grow stronger every day. Meteor Draconids grows stronger every day, and soon. He will awaken!"

"Get a hold of yourself Domori," Paula sighed. "Your talking about an object for goodness sake. It has about as much life in it as these watches."

"He serves a purpose like those watches," Domori shook his head. "Your objects do contain life Aunt Paula. Like dad's cars contain life, like my blades contain life. Don't think that because they don't breath that these objects don't have value."

"Compared to those around you, they have no value," Paula argued. "I'm just telling you to not be so cold to the other kids."

Domori got up to leave. "You're telling the wrong me."

It figures that Aiger was off doing some other Beyblade event. He was getting ready to face the next generation of bladers, and had no time for an old friend like Domori. "Were we even friends?", Domori wondered. They battled twice, and Aiger looked into his family history once. There was a connection, but friends seemed like a stretch. Although Aiger's dad had designed Domori's Eclipse Draconids back in the Turbo era, that was more at Valt's request. "It doesn't matter. I'll face him when I'm ready." Domori's next opponent would be his old apprentice Crystal. She agreed to face him in her home turf where she had the greatest advantage. Domori entered an Ice Skating ring where Crystal waited for him.

"I did it Domori," Crystal grinned. "I evolved my beyblade without your help."

Domori raised a brow at this, but nodded in approval. After all, the reason he left Crystal and Komoto to their own devices was so they'd grow stronger as bladers. "Show me your progress Crystal."

"This is my Seraphim Christalis," Crystal grinned. "It's Icey Light will send your Draconids to oblivion."

"Good luck with that," Domori smirked as he pulled out Meteor Draconids. "This is my Meteor Draconids, it's sword strikes true!"

"It's so different from before," Crystal responded. "Did you get tired of your old strategy?"

"No," Domori shook his head. "The same mechanics are in this dagger, with a few extra tricks. I doubt I'll be building spring loaded blades the same way every time. I want to invent new mechanics and grow stronger after all."

"Still the same Domori," Crystal smiled. She started circling the arena as she picked up speed with her ice skates. "When I was your left hand and Komoto was your right, you told us to focus on our strengths and to let you worry about the beyblade designs. We were just athletes who had never played beyblade before, but you didn't care about that. We were simply just replacements for your hands at the time."

"Crystal," Domori sighed.

"Not anymore," Crystal decided. "Komoto and I got stronger on our own and now, I'm going to show you that I'm just as passionate about this game as you are!"

Domori begun to smile as he readied himself with his sword launch. Domori inhaled for a moment and remembered his time in the walk in cooler. It was easy to re-simulate that experience when in an ice ring. "I did use the both of you," Domori admitted. "More then anything I wanted to be able to beat Lui, but I couldn't with my injured hands. But now, show me what you can do independently!"

3 Crystal leaped in the air.

2 Domori begun drawing his sword launcher in front of himself. As he did, it looked like their were multiple copies of himself as he switched his stance.

1 Crystal performs a triple axel

"Let it rip," both bladers yelled.

Both blades hit the arena and begun circling around each other. Despite how much momentum Crystal built up when skating, Domori's blade was moving at similar speeds.

"He's gotten stronger." Crystal realized. "Exactly what training had you been doing in Spain?"

"I've been training against Valt back at Spain," Domori explained. "I also had been training new bladers. Through those challenges, I eventually got stronger. It was disheartening when the Turbo era ended and I had to hang up my Eclipse Draconids, but eventually."

Chrysalis performed a flurry of attacks causing the blade on Draconids to extend.

"I found my new design," Domori finished. His blade crashed into a wall pushing it's extended blade back inwards causing the gears to shift and the beyblade to heal it's damage. "Now go, Meteor Repulse!" Draconids shot in the air off of the wall as it spring launched itself towards Chrysalis.

"Nice try Domori," Crystal grinned. "Now to show you my power!" Crystal begun glowing white as a cold wind emerged from her beyblade. "Let's go, Frozen Storm!"

"What is this?", Domori wondered as he watched his blade get caught in the storm and pressed upwards. "Your blade can create wind to defend itself, how annoying. "But how is she doing that?"

"I realized your blade enjoys crashing through it's opponents every time it battles," Crystal explained. "So I added a layer of defense to my blade making it hard to even touch."

"I do not fear the sky," Domori smiled. "In fact, my Draconids thrives up here!" Domori roared as he begun glowing gold. "Draconids!" His dragon avatar emerged in front of himself as his blade begun falling towards Chrysalis from above. "Draconic Spring Dive!"

"Second Wind," Crystal called out as a set of discs on the top of her energy layer begun to change and her blade begun spinning in the left direction.

"It can change the direction it spins," Domori grunted. He noticed her stamina was lowering, but he knew what her strategy was. "There's rubber on that energy layer isn't there."

"That's right," Crystal smiled. "My Seraphim Chrysalis sends it's opponents flying up above itself so it can steal the spin from their fall."

Both blades crashed against each other sending Chrysalis flying across the arena. Though the damage was great, the blade itself was now spinning as fast as it did when it launched.

"A right spinning blade that changes into a spin stealing left blade," Domori grinned. "Now this is exciting! Go Draconids!"

"Show me your power," Crystal yelled. "Chrysalis!"

Both avatars begun battling each other in the minds of their bladers as the blades themselves continued to crash into each other.

"Go further," Domori yelled. "Go further!" His grin was going wider as his gold aura shined around himself. He noticed that whatever wind strategy she was using doesn't work on left spin, but her blade was just like Free's Fafnir now.

"Your blade should be low on stamina," Crystal smiled.

"Don't count Draconids out yet," Domori laughed. Draconids went up the slump of the arena only to use it to pick up speed. His blade after a few hits was now fully extended again. "Now go Draconic Sword Slash!"

Draconids clashed against the spin stealing blade again, but this time the tip of the dagger smashed into Chrysalis causing the opposing blade to burst.

"What?", Crystal yelled.

"What fun," Domori grinned. "You designed quite the beyblade."

"I can't believe it," she rubbed her head in frustration. "I did everything right." She saw Domori staring at her with a hunger for more battles. She's only ever seen that look in Lui's eyes before, but Domori seemed to be quite like their menacing rival.

"Let's battle again," Domori decided as a darkness radiated off of him. "Let's keep battling until there's nothing left we can learn from facing each other!"
