Spoilers for all Fast & Furious up to the latest release (Fast X) just in case

I assume most readers know about the major fanfiction sites but if not:

I have a Han/Gisele fanfic on 'archive of our own' called "Unfiltered" that I haven't posted on bc the content is very mature and I'm not sure what the rules on here are or if they've changed so I haven't posted that here yet, so if you don't know then go search for that or if you came back from years ago then I've since updated Unfiltered after a three year break

*Even if I do have mature content on here so far it's been very little among the nonmature/explicit

Chapter 6: Double/Agent

In an unknown Agency location Tess is sitting across from Gisele in a holding cell

Chapter 6: Double/Agent

In an unknown Agency location Tess is sitting across from Gisele in a holding cell.

"Suspicious or coincidence?" Tess continues talking to Gisele after the usual introduction pleasantries, "You showing up here when you did?

"You read my file," Gisele answers evenly.

"It's not the first time. Infiltration is a time honored tradition for agents."

Tess remembers Gisele being slim and fit, so her physical features weren't giving things away at the moment, and if Gisele was indeed undercover they were both taught methods to fake it to a certain degree so perhaps that didn't matter either.

"Doesn't the Agency like to keep their books clean?" Gisele keeps her tone, "Again, my records are on file so it tells you where I've been."

"And the places not on file?" Tess asks, just as professionally as before, "We just want a little help in the right direction. Mr. Nobody's gone missing."

"And if I speak the cameras will catch what I say and it will be on the record. And the Agency itself would be in implicated which is exactly what they don't want so then I take the fall. Do you see the bind I'm in?"

"I'll see what I can do for you," Tess hands a sheet of paper for Gisele to read.

"You don't have the authority," Gisele scoffs, squinting a bit.

"And they tell us not to make it personal but we are a not machine," Tess reasons short of just pleading, "That's my dad out there. If you don't trust them then trust me because you trust him. Everything he's done for you. The window's closing before they move on and put him on the backburner."

Gisele looks back up at Tess, eyes softer now.

"Think it over. I know it's been a long time and you have been to many places. We can't afford false leads either," Tess says, "The next time I see you I'll see about cutting the audio. And get an updated eye test."

I am keeping Gisele's thoughts in the dark on purpose but maybe not fully committing to having Tess as the main point of view either; maybe if the chapters were longer but I want to keep it as direct as I can so that means as short as it can be

In Fast X Tess seems to be aware that Mr. Nobody is in hiding so I hope this can be read both ways, like she hasn't gotten confirmation yet and thinks Mr. Nobody/her dad might be in trouble or she knows already that he is fine but is trying to work out why Gisele is imprisoned/to get her out so she's keeping it from Aimes in the previous chapter and here too with Gisele
