Ben 10 A Magical Mishap (Remake Version 2.0)

Chapter 1: A Spell Gone Wrong (2.0)

Earth 15: Bellwood

Our story opens with Ben Tennyson, our 10-year-old hero, and his grandfather Maxwell Tennyson, a former plumber, traveling through the streets of Manhattan in a Rustbucket RV. Ben also has a cousin, Gwen Tennyson, who is a sorceress-in-training and a pain in the butt a lot.

The Tennyson Trio received unfavorable information about two of their more formidable foes recently. Old sorcerer Hex was determined to rule the world, and Charmcaster, his somewhat obedient niece, would frequently seize the chance to do so. The two had plundered the history institution just hours after they had broken out. All they stole was an ancient, battered, and worn book with enigmatic glyphs carved on the cover.

The Tennyson trio followed them to an abandoned parking structure, unable to stop them from removing the book. Hex started getting ready for what appeared to be a powerful spell, and Charmcaster was assigned the duty of keeping an eye on things. A circle of old runes stood in front of the hex. Hex had lifted the pilfered book and ignited four golden torches.

As Charmcaster asked, "Well Uncle, now that we've acquired all this junk, will you tell me exactly what this so-called ultimate power is?" she was growing weary of the way things were looking.

Her Uncle turned the pages of the tomb and said, "I wasn't supposed to explain to you how crucial this mission is, but if you insist."

"Tell me Charmcaster, do you remember where you had practiced your magic before becoming my apprentice?" Hex replied.

Charmcaster said, reminiscing about her past as a sorceress, "Uh yeah. I think it was called Cloud Tower. And if I remember correctly, the girls there had a thing for chaos, so why do you ask about that uncle?"

"In my years of studying the vast potential of magic, I very soon stumbled across a centuries-old legend. This myth speaks of a powerful manifestation of magical power known to as the dragon flame." Hex started out. "People say that its intense fires created the whole magical dimension by itself."

"That is nonsense!" Charmcaster objected.

Hex responded, "Is it? I've also lately heard about a girl who graduated from the Alfea school for fairies who is also the keeper of the Dragon Flame."

Charmcaster remarked in contempt, "That goody goody school? The girls from there are complete wimps! I never once considered any of the fairies at that school to be strong-willed throughout my stay there."

"Well, I guess the dragon flame keeper might be different," Hex replied. "It also appears that she's teamed up with a few friends. Though not quite as powerful as she is, they are still a great troublesome group when working together."

Charmcaster questioned, "Hey uncle, how do you know all this stuff anyhow since you've been trapped in jail for the previous year?

Hex answered, "Charmcaster, I don't spend my entire prison sentence twiddling my thumbs. I still have access to the most recent knowledge in the magical realms.

Charmcaster asked with a tone of interest, "So, this dragon flame that you're talking about is what we're going to take it, right?"

Hex and his niece laughed and said, "Exactly. And if everything goes as planned, then not even the combined power of her worthless little friends will be enough to stop us."

However, the two evil sorcerers had no idea that the Tennysons were lurking in the rustbucket, close behind them and undetected.

Ben inquired in a curious tone, "Hey Grandpa, what's with all of that junk they're bringing?"

As she informs Ben about the treasure Hex and Charcaster stole, Gwen remarks, "It's all charms and stones. A variety of relics are typically required to cast a high-level spell.

Ben asked, "What sort of spell?"

Gwen replied, "Whatever it is, it isn't going to be good."

Max, Ben, and Gwen proceed to pursue Charmcaster and Hex, as Max says, "Which is why we're going to stop them before they even get a chance!"

Eventually, they tracked them to an abandoned parking structure, the lots of which still held a few abandoned cars that had broken down.

Hex replied, after arranging the charms in a circle in front of him, "Ah, this spot should be adequate." There was now a floor beneath Ben, Gwen, and Max while he was preparing everything. To avoid being discovered straight away, they were traveling slowly.

Gwen said, "Okay, what's the plan, grandpa?"

Max began before Ben had activated the Omnitrix, "Well, we maintain the element of surprise since they are unaware that we are here. Ben, you transform into Ghostfreak, and..."

Ben changed into the Petrosapien he knew as Diamondhead instead of Ghostfreak and beat on the watch's dial, saying, "Actually Grandpa, I have a plan of my own."

A displeased Gwen exclaimed, "What the? Grandpa said Ghostfreak, not Diamondhead!"

Just before rushing to the next floor, where Charmcaster and Hex were waiting for him, he remarked, "I know. But for what I have planned, Diamondhead's the perfect choice."

"Okay, you two. It's recess time. Every inmate must return to their cells," he smirked.

"Tennyson!" Hex turned to face his niece and exclaimed, "Charmcaster!".

She pulled a few tiny rocks out of her back and muttered, "Yeah, yeah I know." The rocks had developed into creatures like dogs after she had flung them.

When one attempted to lunge at him, he punched it away and said, "Really? These things again? I'd expected you would've come up with some new tricks since the last time". He went on as if he had just pierced one with a shard of diamond.

Her sneaky comment was, "Oh, I think I've learned a new trick or two." Ben had no idea that one of her rock golems was silently approaching from behind him like a leopard stalking its prey. The Petrosapian was too late to dodge the creature's sudden charge for his head. However, Gwen's mana bolt shattered the golem before it could chomp away at his head.

Leaning over Ben, she whispered, "You know Ben, I can't keep saving your butt forever."

After the two had taken care of the remaining rock golems, Ben said, "Heh, strange. I never remember asking you to." However, as soon as they had dealt with the rock creatures, they discovered that Hex was emitting a faint purple aura. He chanted the spell's incantation, and the charms before him started to rise.

The charms had started to spin quickly, and they continued to spin until they were just a blur. A vortex soon started to open. Max had attempted to break the energy field by firing a laser cannon blast after realizing this. Hex, however, had launched an energy shield to block his strike and send it flying into a nearby column. The portal was open in a matter of seconds.

Hex exclaimed, "Yes! It's done! Charmcaster, we are leaving," as he started to move through the portal.

"Oh no you don't!" exclaimed Diamondhead, trying to stop Hex from fleeing, but Hex had forced him into the portal, and he was right behind him.

"Uncle!" exclaimed Charmcaster upon entering the portal following the other two. The portal soon started to close. Max and Gwen attempted to enter as well, but the portal had closed too quickly for them to get there.

He shouted, "Ben!" together with his granddaughter.

Ben was soaring through a vortex with Charmcaster and Hex in behind as they wondered where he could have gone in this amount of time.

Ben said, "Okay, Hex, where is this thing heading us?

Hex answered, "To none other than the world where all things magic exist. But you will prove to be a nuisance if I allow you to interfere." He then unleashed a powerful ray of magical energy at the hero, electrocuting him briefly as the spell took effect before realizing that nothing had changed.

"Hex, I believe you're stuck; your magical staff is broken," he replied, gesturing with it.

Hex said, charging for another blast, "I assure you, the spell will take effect in due time." As he abruptly vanished, he said, "Until then, I shall make sure you don't interfere!" and unleashed an even more powerful blast that sent Diamondhead crashing into the vortex's wall. Ben was still stumbling into the vortex when the opening titles rolled, with the title shown in large, green and white lettering appear.

Earth 7: Gardenia

There was a sudden, dazzling light in the sky that resembled a star.

A tiny child said to her mother, "Look mommy, a shooting star."

Looking closer, it appeared like the star was directly in their direction.

The girl closed her eyes and said, "Hey! It's coming to us! Make a wish, Mommy."

"That's not a star!" exclaimed the mother as she hurriedly gathered up the young child and moved to a safe distance. Ben was actually still in his Diamondhead form, covered in a purple spear of energy. When it crashed, it produced a massive explosion that was felt and seen miles away, especially in the six-girl-owned pet store Love and Pet.

Asked a girl with long orange hair, "Did you girls feel that?

Yeah. but, what was it?"A girl with blonde hair asked.

A girl at a computer said, "It looks like it came from the park."

As she and the others sprinted to examine the crash, the girl with orange hair said, "Let's check it out."
