EARTH-1, BEFORE CRISIS:
When they went back in time to get Thawne to fix the dark matter dampener, he got the idea to use that to his use.
Thawne races off and the three then fight through the city, but Thawne has more tricks up his sleeve and is able to outrun them both. He races at them when a tie portal opens and the Time Sphere exits and smashes Thawne, the entire team exits.
Ralph, Peter, Crystal, Miles, Frankie, Cisco, Tina, Tommy, and Harry with his speedster cannon.
"Isn't this nice?" Thawne asks them. "Team Spider-Flash, back together again...with a few new guys. Ralph Dibny. Welcome. You should be dead." He tells Ralph. "Miles Morales. The Ultimate Spider-Man. Frankie Parker, Metalla. And the two offsprings of the Snow-Parker pack. The Rogue Squadron."
"What can we say? We've been wanting to beat you up since we were kids." Tina states that she now has her own suit on. Her outfit design is not very different from Tommy's or Peter's, except it's all red with light blue sides and dark blue boots with a snowflake on the front and a spider on the back.
"Cisco. It warms my heart to see you again." Thawne tells him. "Sorry about the..." he makes a gesture, referring to when he killed Cisco in an alternate timeline. "But if I had not died that, you would never have become extraordinary."
"I don't need powers for that," Cisco says.
Thawne rushes at them, Tina activates a time window, opening up behind them as Crystal and Tommy blast him with ice, and Harry shoots him into one of Cisco's breaches. Peter is waiting as the breach opens and Thawne falls. He webs Thawne before punching him far away. Nora and Barry speed into another breach and punch Thawne as he lands with a lightning punch.
Nora grabs Thawne and takes off his cowl.
"It's not my father's legacy that's gonna disappear, Thawne," Nora promises and begins to raise her hand. "It's yours!"
Before she could go forward with it, the light in her eyes dimmed as Nora looked in horror at her hand. It was turning faintly blue, starting to particularize.
"So close, Little Runner," Thawne murmured. "It was never going to work anyway."
Nora tossed him back with a gasp. Now both of her hands were threading with blue and letting off a faint whispering sound. "Mom?" she croaked, looking to her parents. "Dad?"
"No no no," Iris breathed, hurrying forward.
"Mom, what's happening?" Nora asked desperately.
Barry's hand landed on her shoulder and he stared in horror at her glowing hands, then back to the Reverse Flash with terror on his face.
"A new timeline is setting in," Thawne said.
"What?"
"A new timeline that you created," Thawne went on, "where you destroyed the dagger! I'm sorry, Little Runner, for trading you in like this. But I had to be sure that I could go free."
Barry put on a burst of speed and slammed Thawne back into the electrical box. Iris grabbed Nora and held her close.
"You can still save her, Barry," Thawne murmured. "There's still time. You can still save her."
"How?!" Barry demanded.
"The Negative Speed Force," Thawne said. "She has to go there. It's the only place immune to timeline changes. But you have to go now. You have to go, Barry! Or we lose her forever."
Barry's eyebrows furrowed slightly, noting the use of the word 'we'.
"That's right," Thawne breathed. "I've grown fond of her, too. In many ways, she's shown me what it's like to have a daughter."
"You are a sick bastard," Frankie growled in anger.
Barry slammed him harder against the power box, but Thawne just smirked. To make sure he doesn't get away, Frankie crushes him in steel and Tina and Tommy freeze him in the metal so he doesn't escape.
"Just so there are no last-minute escape attempts," Tina stated.
Barry flashed off, Nora following along with him. Cisco reached out for Iris heart fluttering in her chest as panic and fear started to rise. Barry and Nora ran through into the Negative Speedforce. Everything was hazy, red and black, and Barry could feel the weight of it settling into his bones.
"I can't do this!" Nora cried.
"Yes you can, yes you can, you have to, all right?" Barry shouted back desperately. "Just hold on a little longer."
"No Dad!" Nora shrieked, her voice beginning to modulate as her eyes glowed. "I can't!"
"Nora!" Barry yelled.
"I can't!" Nora repeated and pulled out of the Speed Force.
Barry peeled away after her, the two of them pulling to a stop right where they'd begun. "Nora, what're we doing?" he demanded frantically.
"It's too late," Nora cried.
"No, it's not, we gotta go back!"
"Dad, no," Nora sobbed.
"Barry, you have to take her back!" Iris cried, tears welling in her eyes.
"I know, I know!"
"Mom!" Nora tried. "Mom!"
"Nora, you have to go back, please!" Iris begged.
"NO!" Nora shouted, her eyes flashing a dangerous golden and her voice taking on a double tone. That shut both her parents up and they stared at her, gasping for breath. "If I go back in, the Negative Speed Force will be a part of me forever."
"We'll get it out of you, Nora!" Iris cried. "We can get it out; we can save you, please, I promise!"
"Mom, you can't," Nora insisted, and grabbed at her arm, squeezing hard. "You can't. None of you can. It's making me like Thawne. Full of anger and hate. I- I don't want that to be my legacy. This is all on me."
"No-" Barry tried.
"All of it," Nora said firmly. Her voice was wobbling but her hand on Iris's arm was surprisingly steady. "My mistake. And I'm not gonna make another one."
She stared up at Barry, blue particles beginning to creep up her arm and chest. "Sometimes all you can do is live with the consequences."
Barry felt his heart drop, knowing that it was him who had given her that advice just one short day ago. An ache growing in his chest, he dragged both Nora and Iris into his arms.
"It's okay," Nora whispered, wrapping her arms around her parents even as her entire body began to glow blue. "It's okay."
Iris let out a sob, pressing her forehead into Nora's temple and holding on as tight as she could. She could feel a shift of atoms, a tingling under her fingertips, as Nora's body began to disintegrate.
"We love you," Barry murmured, holding them tight even as the ache in his chest grew and grew.
"Thank you for everything," Nora whispered.
And then she was gone.
"No," Iris whispered as glowing blue particles filtered up through the air. Tears masked her face and a sheet of ice began to spread around her feet. "No, no, no, no-"
Tommy and Tina were both sad to see their friend disappear before their eyes. Nora was their family, even if they only knew she was around recently.
But then all of a sudden, the next time that Nora opened her eyes, she was in a forest. Truth be told, for some reason she considered that this might just be heaven. She noticed she was still wearing her outfit, and was wondering what was going on when suddenly she heard and noticed electricity in the distance. Maybe she was on another Earth? But that wouldn't make sense, she was supposed to have been erased from existence. Not that she was complaining.
Then there was some sort of explosion in the distance, followed by more electricity, and what she could tell sounded like screaming in the distance. Running off to figure out what was going on, seems she still had her connection to the Speed Force and sped off.
"Hello, Peter Parker." Eobard Thawne greeted him, vibrating his voice to appear menacing.
"Hi. Did I do something to piss you from another dimension, too?" Peter asked this guy.
"I may not know where I am or what the circumstances are that brought me here," Thawne said as he started to vibrate his hand. "But what I do know...I'm about to kill Spider-Man."
But before he had the chance to send his fist into the chest of the hero, a blast of purple and yellow electricity came speeding and punched Thawne. The Reverse Flash was sent flying across the woods as Peter looked and found what he figured was Nora. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on but was working with what she got.
"Peter, it's me," Nora said as she helped the hero to his feet. "Nora, you remember?"
"Uh," Peter didn't know exactly what to say. "I'm Peter, but I'm not your Peter."
"What do you mean you're not my Peter?" Nora asks in confusion. "What the heck is going on?"
"I'll explain everything, but can you help us stop these guys?" Peter asked of the stranger.
"Uh, okay, sure." Nora decided she could help them out.
"You help out my team with this lighting guy, we'll handing the fast guy," Peter told her the game plan and tapped his comm. "Kamala, you and Kitty are with me. Everyone else, pull the plug on this guy."
"Got it!" Doreen cried as she crawled up the side of the power cables.
"We're on it!" Kamala cried as she stretched her limbs out and made it over to Peter.
Reverse Flash made his way running back towards the heroes. Peter looked and waited for the right moment and honed his senses. The moment Reverse Flash got close enough; he went in for a punch but was shocked when he saw Peter moving at superhuman speed to dodge the attack.
Working at almost the same speed as Thawne, Peter swung to punch him in the face, and Thawne immediately dodged and punched him into a tree. Working fast, he was ready to end this when Kitty came and kicked him in the knee, causing him to change targets.
But the second she hit the speedster; Kitty started to use her powers so he couldn't touch her. That set Thawne into a confused state as he's never seen anything like this in the past or future. And before he could even question that part of the situation, Kamala came in and punched Thawne with her enlarged fists.
Sending Thawne sliding around the forest and skidding against the ground. But the second he got his footing; he got back up and sped right back at them. But Peter managed to act faster and ended up shooting a web right at Thawne. The moment he realized what happened, it was too late as Thawne was transported and slammed into the invisible barrier.
"What the hell?" Thawne asked as he looked around.
Nora was currently helping out by running circles around the lighting form to create a sand barrier between them. The team was quickly working on ripping the power cables out of the towers to cut off her power supply.
"I can't hold this forever!" Nora warned as she didn't know how long she could keep this up.
"We're working on it, new girl!" Ava cried as she leaped across a gap and sliced the last cable.
Once they were all separated from the character, there was an explosion that sent everyone backward. When the swirl of sand cooled down that Nora had caused, it gave them a moment to regroup after the person was defeated.
"Different Peter," Nora commented as she looked at her (kinda) uncle remove his mask. "This is so weird."
"Thanks for your help," Peter tells the girl and pats her on the back.
Then the electrical being stood up, revealing to have been Livewire, Leslie Willis, stood up and looked around. Seems her clothes also turned to electricity as she wore a black jacket over a blue shirt and jeans.
"What the hell?" Leslie asked as she looked around, her electricity cooling down. "Where am I?"
"Hey," Peter called out to both Nora and Leslie. "This is going to sound insane, but this isn't your universe."
"What?" Nora asked in shock.
"Another universe?" Leslie questioned as she didn't seem confused by that. "That explains what I was feeling in there. The power. It's different." She then started to spark and her eyes glowed blue. "I like it."
"You don't wanna do that," Kamala warned her as she got ready for round two.
"It's actually my fault you're both here," Peter admitted as he looked at the two of them.
"In the universe or the woods?" Leslie asked as she looked around, disgusted by her surroundings. "I hate the woods. Seriously, I hate the mud, water, animal shit everywhere."
"I... was referring to the universe," Peter tells her. "And in advance. Sorry."
"For what?" Leslie asks.
Peter then shot out a web and sent Leslie back to the lair. As soon as Leslie showed up in the dungeon, the lights started to flicker, and Reverse Flash waved at her.
Nora then started to look worried at what just happened. "What was that? Did you just kill her?"
"No, no, no. It's okay." Peter promises, realizing how it looks to the speedster. "You just have to trust me."
"I don't trust you. I don't even know you!" Nora proclaimed and sped her way at him.
But Peter took that time to then shoot a web at her.
CHAPTER 10
A WHOLE NEW TIMELINE
EARTH-616, Washington DC:
The world was in utter chaos as Bill Cipher and his Henchmaniacs wreaked havoc across the globe. People were running in panic, screaming in terror, and trying to find shelter from the destruction. The situation was dire and seemed to worsen with each passing moment.
Meanwhile, in the Fearamid, Bill, Kang, and Chavez were trying to open a portal to the Dark Dimension. Chavez was chained by her arms and legs, dangling in the air with her limbs painfully separated. Despite the excruciating pain, she refused to give in to their demands and open the portal.
The scene was tense and charged with fear and desperation. The Henchmaniacs were growing restless as time passed and the portal remained closed. Bill's frustration was palpable, and he was clearly losing his patience. The fate of the world hung in the balance, and the outcome of this confrontation would determine the course of history.
"I'm still not going to help you!" Chavez proclaimed.
"So, is this your whole plan?" Bill asks Kang. "I would have thought that you would be better at this whole... conquering. You know, your name is Kang the Conqueror and all."
"I have it all under control," Kang promises him. "I know how this story ends, we just need to bring us to that part."
"And yet you don't seem to know what you're doing." Bill comments.
"Things are different," Kang muttered in fear. "Peter Parker of Earth-Prime was meant to fight back against me. And yet...his powers are fleeing." He then started to walk away, his platforms underneath him keeping him from falling. "Something is different. I don't know how or why, but something somewhere changed in time and space. I don't know if changing our timeline is enough, but you must succeed in this."
Kang then looked out to all of the chaos and destruction that was being caused outside. The chaos did make him remember how he was once one trying to protect and was now here causing. But he saw all of the future, he knew that all of this was something that needed to happen for Earth to have a future.
As the chaos continued on the streets, Miles, Dawn, and Sub-Zero were busy putting up barricades around their building to prevent the Eyebats from attacking them. The situation was rapidly deteriorating, and despite their best efforts, they were losing ground with each passing moment. Meanwhile, Frankie took the time to fill Nora in on everything that had happened since she was erased from time.
Frankie recounted the events in great detail, explaining how Caitlin and Frost had become separated due to the unpredictable nature of the multiverse. Nora listened intently, trying to make sense of the complex web of events that had led to this point. As Frankie finished speaking, Nora let out a deep breath, processing all of the information she had just received.
"Wow," she said finally. "That is a lot to take in. But it does explain a few things. So, my mom and dad split up?"
Frankie nodded in agreement, grateful that Nora was finally up to speed on everything that had happened. "Well, more like they never got together. That is why you disappeared back in the future."
"My mom is back with Eddie Thawne?" Nora clarified. "And doesn't remember me?"
"Yeah, sorry." Frankie nodded. "We all thought it would be better since Iris was with Thawne, Patty was with Barry, and you know, you were dead."
Nora nodded and understood, but it didn't hurt her to see the entire world she once knew was all gone and was replaced with something new. "Okay. But my dad?"
"He's alive," Dawn promised her and didn't seem to show any hate to Nora. She was technically a daughter from an old timeline but was also technically Dawn's sister as well. "And I know he can't wait to see you again."
Nora smiled and couldn't wait to see what else was different or maybe find what was the same in this timeline. But they had to deal with this current problem of Bill Cipher and Kang the Conqueror.
"Well, if we are going to find him, we gotta figure out our next move." Frankie sighed. "We are on our own and don't even know if anyone else managed to escape. So, we gotta figure out how we are going to save them and take down both Bill and Kang."
"Why don't we focus on one of them?" Aster offered a suggestion.
"Huh?" Miles wasn't sure he followed.
"Really? That was too hard to understand?" Aster questioned. "Look, we can't fight Bill Cipher. He can manipulate the universe. But Kang the Conqueror is technologically based. He can control tech with his mind and all of the weapons are connected to him."
"So, what do you suggest?" Dawn asks.
"We break into that building." Aster gestured towards the Kang citadel. "We get in there, and figure out what's keeping him here. I mean, if he is manipulating time in a time-dead zone, he must be using some sort of tech."
"That...actually does make sense," Nora admitted. "Because if I am still able to use the Speed Force without being erased from existence, that means that he shouldn't be able to manipulate time." She then walked over and showed the tower to everyone. "If we can figure out how he can manipulate time within this time sphere he created, we can destroy it, and we can send Kang, or at least his technology, back to the timestream where it originally came from."
"You make it sound easy," Dawn commented.
"Yeah, we're used to figuring things out on the fly," Frankie promises. "So, how do we break into a citadel that is created by Wakandan technology? Whatever the hell Wakanda is."
Dawn then smiled. "I might have a way."
Scott was in a state of panic as he frantically searched for his friends in the giant palace of Citadel. His heart was racing, and his fear was at an all-time high. He was looking for the platform they had arrived on, hoping to find any clue that could lead him to his companions. He scoured every corner of the palace, but there was no sign of his friends. He felt helpless and vulnerable as he realized that his worst fears were now a reality.
As he looked around, he saw that all of his friends were frozen in time. They were being dragged away by Kang's henchmen. A wave of panic washed over him, and he could feel his heart racing as he realized he was too late to save them. He grew to his normal size and started hyperventilating. "This can't be happening," he muttered to himself, feeling helpless and vulnerable.
Suddenly, a guard appeared behind him, aiming his weapon at him. "Stop right there!" he shouted.
Scott raised his hands slowly, knowing that he was no match for the guard. He reached for his shrinking button, hoping to escape, but before he could press it, the guard was knocked over the head by a Batarang. The guard collapsed, and Scott turned around to see Terry McGinnis, still panting in anger, ripping off his mouth mask to breathe better.
"I hate these guys," Terry growled, his eyes blazing with fury, but it was hard to see because his eyes glowed red due to the suit.
"Terry!" Scott was happy to see him. "How did you survive?"
"Oh, Armando managed to get a handful of us out of here before Kang's guys came around." Terry gestured behind Scott.
Scott turned around and watched a breach open as Tommy, Armando, Roberta, Hope Haddock, and M'gann came out and were all relieved to see one another. Tommy was last seen falling to his death, but it seems that was when Armando managed to open a breach and now they were back to finish the job.
"Alright, so where's Tina?" Tommy asked his friend.
"She went further into the Citadel. Thinks that there could be a way to finally stop Kang." Scott tells them. "Told me to come back and grab you guys before coming to find her."
"Let's hope my sister doesn't do anything stupid until we find her." Tommy groaned as they ran into the citadel to find her.
The situation down at the Lighthouse was nothing short of disastrous. The base came under attack by Kang, who had launched a massive assault on the facility, leaving it besieged. The top of the lighthouse was being bombarded by a massive command ship, which was hovering ominously over the structure, raining down destruction upon it. Meanwhile, a horde of future robots were relentlessly blasting their way through the doors, determined to breach the base and wreak havoc.
To protect the base, a brave team had assembled, ready to face the onslaught. Ray had donned his powerful Atom suit, which was capable of taking on any threat that came his way. Oliver had his trusty bow at the ready, arrows poised to fly at any moment. Elsa had her hands raised in preparation for battle, her powers charged up and ready to unleash. Courtney, on the other hand, was gripping her Cosmic Staff tightly, prepared to unleash its full power. And Mia and Violet stood at the ready, poised to defend their world at all costs.
As the first line of defense, this team embodied the very best of humanity - brave, determined, and willing to put themselves in harm's way to protect others. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, they stood firm, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
"How long will that door hold?" Ray asked, his voice filled with concern.
"This base wasn't made to withstand evil future cyborgs," Ava replied through the comms. "Which is saying a lot, considering what it was made to withstand."
"Speaking of which, have we put the emergency mode activated?" MJ asked her friends, trying to make sure that all necessary precautions were taken.
"Working on it," Morgan replied, frantically working on raising their alien invasion defense to protect the base.
"Yeah, okay, but what are our odds?" Rick asked, his voice heavy with worry as he tried to fix the Hourglass with the limited resources available to him.
"I don't like being told the odds," Ava muttered under her breath, trying to maintain her focus on the task at hand.
"Good," Thawne called out from his cell, causing them to turn towards the man in the cell. "Because your odds are not in your favor."
"Can we please shut him up?" Caitlin-1 begged, getting sick of listening to her old boss who was a supervillain.
The scene was chaotic and tense. Suddenly, without warning, the doors were violently blown off their hinges, and an army of robots stormed in, firing their weapons in all directions. The heroes were taken aback but quickly sprang into action, returning fire and trying to defend themselves against the merciless onslaught.
Amidst the chaos, a figure emerged from the smoke, running nimbly through the blaster fire with the help of her suit. It was Yolanda Montez, who then spun around and tackled Courtney, taking her by surprise. Courtney was initially alarmed by the sudden attack, but when she saw that it was her friend, she was relieved.
"Yolanda?" Courtney asked, still in shock.
Yolanda scoffed, struggling to pry the staff from Courtney's hands. "Yeah, I know. Out of all of us to survive, who would think it was me?"
The situation was dire. The heroes were outnumbered, and their suits were beginning to overheat. Ray cried out in frustration, realizing that they couldn't hold out much longer against the relentless robot assault.
But then, Morgan called out in relief, "I got them operating! Barry, you're up!"
Barry sprang into action, grabbing everyone except Elsa, who stayed back to execute the plan. Elsa shot a blast at the ground, creating a wall of solid ice just as Barry sped away with everyone else to the lower levels. Yolanda saw the wall of ice and realized that there was no way they could get past it without help.
But then, a glimmer of evil appeared in Yolanda's mind. Maybe they didn't need help after all.
As they made their way over to the Citadel, the group of heroes knew they had to be careful to avoid being detected. Frankie took cover behind some rubble, and Miles followed suit, staying close to her. Meanwhile, Dawn and Nora tried to sneak over, but their efforts were in vain as they ended up giving themselves away. Aster quickly took control of the situation, preventing Sub-Zero from shooting ice and revealing their location.
Eventually, they arrived near the entrance of the Citadel. Frankie gestured to the doors and said, "That's the only way in and out other than the balcony."
Aster asked, "Okay, how do we get in there without being noticed?"
Miles' heightened senses alerted him that they were indeed spotted. Suddenly, a flash of lightning appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Miles by the throat, slamming him against the wall. It was Hunter Zoloman, also known as Zoom.
"WHO SAID YOU WEREN'T NOTICED?!" Zoom demanded in a menacing voice.
Aster quickly transformed into Sub-Zero and used his powers to force Zoom off of Miles, saving him in the nick of time. Zoom was hit, but he was able to recover quickly and started wearing off the ice. Miles used this opportunity to start fighting back. He had never fought Zoom in his timeline, but this guy seemed just as menacing as the one from his world.
As the chaos ensued, Frankie started to lift some rubble when suddenly she was knocked backward by General Zod, who slammed her on the back. "You will all kneel before the might of Zod!" he declared.
Dawn quickly sped over and punched him in the face, sending Zod flying into the rubble. Frankie got up and saw that Nora had phased to appear invisible. "We'll take these guys. You and Aster get into that building."
"You sure?" Nora whispered.
"We've got this," Frankie stated, with Miles and Dawn speeding to her side. They then looked back at General Zod, Zoom, and Black Adam. "Probably."
"Let's do this," Dawn whispered, speeding off as Zoom followed after her.
Frankie, with her exceptional flying skills, took to the skies to evade General Zod's laser vision. She used debris to shield herself and cleverly threw it towards Zod, who flew towards her. On the other hand, Miles was facing Black Adam's electric charge. However, he absorbed the energy and used it to propel himself towards Black Adam, punching him with all his might and releasing all the energy at once.
While the chaos was unfolding, Aster and Nora made their way toward the Citadel. The guardians were busy fighting, which gave the two an opening to sneak inside. As they entered the Citadel, they could feel the tension and impending danger lurking around every corner.
Dawn was running for her life, racing down the streets with Zoom hot on her heels. She remembered the stories she was told about Zoom, a monster who was impossible to outrun. Yet, she kept running and managed to climb up the side of a building to escape him.
Zoom was closing in on her, but Dawn had a plan. She made a quick left turn, causing Zoom to run around the building. She then threw tons of lightning in his direction, causing him to topple but quickly getting back up and slamming Dawn against the wall.
"You think that's all it takes to kill me?" Zoom taunted her as his claws dug into her neck. "This isn't over yet."
Dawn, however, had a trick up her sleeve. She phased through the building, leaving Zoom bewildered as he sped around to find her again. As he searched frantically, Dawn reappeared, revealing that she had been phasing to appear invisible. She then stopped phasing and injected the serum Nora was carrying into Zoom's neck, causing him to lose his connection to the Speedforce forever.
"That's one." Dawn sighed.
Lighthouse:
Oliver paced around the dark room of the Lighthouse, his frustration evident in his groans. "We're not going to be able to win this," he muttered, knowing that they were outnumbered and outmatched.
Karen looked at him with concern. "How do you suggest we get out of here?"
Oliver shook his head. "There's only the front door and the docking bay. And even if we could get to the Waverider, the timeline is too unstable. We'd be risking everything."
Sara nodded in agreement. "Our head scientist and engineer are both trapped in the Framework. We can't count on them to help us."
MJ's voice was heavy as she spoke up. "And our other engineers are either dead or buried under tons of rubble. We're on our own."
Coulson tried to rally the team. "We've faced impossible odds before. We can do this."
Kitty spoke up, reminding them. "We had Peter and the A-Team to help back then. These guys can manipulate time.."
Suddenly, the screens flickered to life, showing Yolanda's older self. She spoke in a cryptic tone, suggesting that their situation was both changeable and unchangeable at the same time. "That is correct. And yet you guys seem to be able to break the rules."
"What does that mean?" Kara wonders.
"Half of you should be dead, and the other half should already have been turned to stone. You somehow have altered the loop we have been stuck in time and time again."
The team was confused and disoriented by her words, but Coulson tried to make sense of it. "We're breaking the loop. That's why we're still here. And you can go back and cry to Kang that this facility has survived invasions before and is still standing." Then they noticed her sinister smile. "Oh, boy. Sinister smile. I don't like that smile."
"You really think we did all of this and didn't have a backup plan?" Yolanda asks.
"I mean, I kinda did. Until you said it like that." Coulson admitted.
But their conversation was cut short by the sudden voice of the Reverse Flash, taunting them from his cell. They turned to face him and noticed he took off his Reverse Flash symbol and revealed it had a device hidden in it. "I keep telling you... I am always one step ahead, Flash!" Then he activated an EMP that disabled the power to the Lighthouse, the team was plunged into darkness.
Thawne was still contained in his cell, and the room of FRAMEWORK prisoners, and the kids along with Felicia-1, Ronnie, and Emily were keeping an eye on the kids. They kept anything of importance on its own separate generator in case of a case like this one.
When the lights suddenly went dark, Felicia of Earth-1 clung to Mayday, keeping the kid safe in defense of Caitlin and Peter. She was put in charge in keeping an eye on the people stuck in the FRAMEWORK, making sure everything was going okay. Mary Oldenburg-Parker, Jones-Parker and Parker-Danvers twins, and Mayday Snow-Parker were there because there wasn't a daycare in the Lighthouse for situations like this. There was no real need for one since nobody had ever considered they might lose the Triskellion.
"This doesn't feel good," Ronnie commented.
"No, it doesn't." Felicia agreed.
In the midst of chaos, the team valiantly fought against the horde of intruders who had infiltrated the facility. The team members utilized their unique set of skills and weapons to fend off the attackers, but the sheer number of the assailants overwhelmed their efforts. Melinda was the first to be taken down by Yolanda, using her claws and fast movements to knock her against the bars.
The situation worsened as Sara was struck by a gunshot, and Barry was hit with a forcefield that slowed him down, making him more vulnerable to attacks. To make matters worse, Kara and Karen were both weakened by the Kryptonite-infused weapons they were carrying. The Spider-Heroes' web shooters and gadgets proved to be no match for the attackers, rendering them useless.
Despite the odds stacked against them, the team continued to fight back with every ounce of strength they had left. However, the tide turned against them when one of the intruders unleashed a powerful shockwave that left them reeling.
In the middle of the chaos, Yolanda's voice rose above the din. "The Lighthouse is ours," she declared, signaling the team's defeat. It was evident that they would need to regroup and come up with a new plan if they wanted to survive the relentless onslaught of their enemies.
WASHINGTON:
Inside the Citadel, Nora and Aster were making their way around the building trying to do their best to look around the building. And with their combined cold and speed skills and powers, there was no way that they stood a chance against these soldiers from the future. They just needed to avoid them as best they could and hope they found a way to stop this facility from producing more soldiers.
"Okay, if he used a breach from the future to move his army here, it stands to reason that's where he is keeping his time technology," Nora told Aster. "If this is anything like the Time Sphere from my timeline, then all we need to do is sever the systems, and the timeline should correct itself."
"Should," Aster whispered as they continued to sneak around. "We are asking for a hail mary situation. And I can't help but feel we are forgetting something. Kang himself."
"You said he is in the Fearamid, right?" Nora replied as they hid behind a wall, watching a group of soldiers march past. "So, we shouldn't have anything to worry about."
"Other than, you know, getting lost in this giant place." Aster retorted. "This place is huge, and it doesn't look like they are big on maps."
Nora stopped and had to agree he did have a point. "You're right. How do they know where to go?" Then she looked to see two soldiers on patrol and smiled. "You do me a favor?"
"So, did you hear back from the Conqueror?" One of the troops asked.
"He's still in the giant pyramid with that Fifth-dimensional demon." The other replied.
"How long is this going to take? We've been waiting for his word, he said we were supposed to begin conquering the multiverse."
"I wouldn't be too impatient considering we have literal time on our side."
Then Nora sped in and slammed one of them against the wall. "Actually, you don't."
Aster then shot a blast that knocked out the second one, and they were left with the two soldiers knocked out, as well as their uniforms. Taking their uniforms, they placed the suits on and began to get an entire layout of the entire base.
"Whoa. That should help us out." Aster said with a chuckle.
As they roamed the halls of the facility, the duo maintained their cover of being soldiers on patrol, trying to remain unnoticed by the guards. After several minutes of searching, they finally reached their destination. Upon entering the room, they were surprised to see a larger version of the inner workings of a Time Sphere, complete with advanced computers and fewer guards than they were expecting.
Nora walked towards one of the control consoles and started examining it closely. "Do you think you can hack into this and send them back to the future?" Aster inquired.
Nora scoffed, "Kang's technology is older than me."
Aster responded, "It's 2038 now."
Nora suddenly realized that she was from 2049 before the timeline reset, "Oh, so I actually am older. Well, maybe...actually, I think-"
All of a sudden, the console she was hacking disappeared into green smoke. Nora backed up, taken aback by what had just happened. Aster transformed into Sub-Zero, allowing him to take over and assess the situation. The entire room then transformed from the Time Control room into a cargo room, showing there was no real controls.
As they tried to figure out what was going on, the Enchantress appeared out of nowhere and began to laugh. "Did you truly think it would be that simple?"
Sub-Zero shrugged, "A little?"
Nora interrupted, "Don't reply to the villain," while getting into a fighting stance, ready to defend themselves.
Without wasting any time, Nora, who was known for his incredible speed, darted towards Enchantress at lightning speed. However, Enchantress was prepared for Nora's quickness and immediately cast a spell that sent him flying back. Seeing Nora being pushed back, Sub-Zero, who was known for his mastery over ice, stepped in and sent a stream of ice toward Enchantress. But she was quick to dodge it, sending a blast of energy towards Sub-Zero.
As the two heroes recovered, Enchantress conjured up a group of shadow creatures to attack them. Nora quickly assessed the situation and decided to dash around them, using his incredible speed to avoid their attacks. Sub-Zero then created an ice shield to protect them from the shadow creatures' attacks.
Enchantress then decided to take matters into her own hands, launching a barrage of magical projectiles towards the two heroes. The projectiles were so powerful that they could have easily knocked them down. But with Nora's lightning-fast reflexes and Sub-Zero's quick thinking, they were able to dodge and deflect the attacks.
Sub-Zero then created a massive ice wave towards Enchantress, freezing her in place. Nora saw the opportunity and quickly delivered a flurry of punches, but Enchantress broke free from the ice and sent a powerful blast of energy toward Nora. The blast was so strong that Nora was knocked off his feet and fell to the ground.
Seeing Nora in trouble, Sub-Zero stepped in once more. This time, he created an ice spear and charged towards Enchantress with incredible force. Enchantress tried to stop him with her magic, but Sub-Zero was able to break through and pierce her with the spear. Enchantress screamed in pain as Sub-Zero withdrew the spear, causing her to disappear in a puff of smoke.
Nora and Sub-Zero breathed a sigh of relief, seeing they managed to at least injure the Enchantress. She might have vanished, and that could also mean that they could be met with a swarm of troops coming and Nora shrugged.
"Well, since they know we are here, let's go the easy route." Nora then grabbed Sub-Zero and they sped off to find the real control room.
LIGHTHOUSE:
Yolanda was standing tall over all the remaining Secret Warriors who were now being rounded up and handcuffed by the remaining members of her squad whom they hadn't taken down yet. Her gaze then fell upon Thawne, who was still locked up in his cell, and she chuckled at his foolishness.
"Let him out," Yolanda ordered, although she wasn't too keen on releasing him. However, they needed him for the grand plan.
Thawne waited for them to finally open the door as he used a device from the future that created a doorway for him to pass through. "You took your damn time," he complained.
"Stop whining, Thawne," Yolanda snapped at him. Then she turned to a group of androids. "Go get the FRAMEWORK." Then she turned to face the rest of the Secret Warriors. "Don't you get it? You lost. You can't win because we know how this ends. And we are the good guys. What you consider good and evil are irrelevant when the Darkness comes and takes everything from us."
"Darkness?" Jessica asked, confused.
"You'll see. Or maybe not," Yolanda responded, realizing she hadn't taken something into account. "With this second chance, maybe we can finally alter time. Change what happened that left our world in shambles."
"I thought this is what leaves the world in shambles," Caitlin-S commented, still confused.
"This?" Yolanda laughed. "This is nothing compared to what's coming up." She then looked at all the screens. "I watched everyone I love die." This confirmed that this event wasn't what caused the end of the world in her timeline. "It all started when Bill opened the rift."
"The what?" Oliver asked, fear in his voice.
"A rift in time and space. You don't think Kang is actually helping Bill, do you?" Yolanda scoffed. "He's controlling the chaos." Then a type of music started to play, which confused Yolanda. "What is that?"
"Who's playing music?" Maggie wondered.
Then they all looked over to the computers and saw a doorway that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. They watched a familiar face come out of the doorway; it was the Fifth Dimensional being Music Meister, the same guy who had previously appeared and messed with the heroes years ago. He stepped out of the doorway, dressed in what looked like a High School March Band outfit. He then strutted into the room, and the music started to play louder, causing everyone to point their guns in his direction while the heroes remained handcuffed.
"When you're feelin' sad and low," Music Meister began to sing with a female voice. "We will take you where you gotta go." He then started to dance as he made his way towards Yolanda, who was confused about what was happening. "Smilin', dancin', everything is free! All you need is positivity!"
Then Music Meister pointed in another direction, causing them all to look and see that he had teleported across the room, grabbed two of the robots, and turned them into pedals before anyone could even react. "Colors of the world! Spice up your life!"
"How did he do that?" Melinda asked, perplexed.
"Long story," Kara sighed.
Thawne sped over to try and stop him, but before he could get close, Music Meister already started to dance with Thawne. Before Eobard could react, Meister then threw him into a breach, sending Thawne off to regions of who knows where.
Felicia and Ronnie were hearing a lot of commotion upstairs and were beginning to become worried. They were preparing for a battle when they felt a puff of smoke appear behind them.
Felicia shrieked when she turned and was preparing to attack whoever it was when they saw somebody they weren't expecting.
"I mean you no harm!" He cried. "In fact, I'm here to save you."
"And you are...?" Ronnie asks.
"A friend of Supergirl." He promised.
"Every boy and every girl! Spice up your life!" Music Meister sang as he danced around with Yolanda's future self, throwing her into a black hole that suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
"People of the world! Spice up your life!" Music Meister continued singing as Yolanda's future self was seen falling from the air, leaving everyone wondering how this happened.
"Slam it to the left! If you're having a good time! Shake it to the right! If you know that you feel fine! Chicas to the front!"
"All of you, open fire!" Yolanda demanded, and all the troops, robots, and humans turned towards Music Meister.
"Slam it to the left if you're having a good time!" Music Meister kept singing as all of them opened fire, but all their guns were shooting pedals, making the scene look more comical than threatening. "Shake it to the right! If you know that you feel fine! Chicas to the front! Spice up your life!"
Yolanda then watched as Music Meister raised a finger gun towards her and spun around. "Ci ya, hold tight!"
Music Meister appeared behind Yolanda and then touched her back, causing her to turn into bouncing balls, sending her all over the place. He then let out a sigh of relief as he wiped his hands, leaving everyone else with more questions.
"What just happened?" Garret asked, bewildered.
Then out of nowhere another old face from their past appeared in the room, Mxyzptlk. "Okay, I got my part done." He commented and saw everyone. "Hello."
"Mxyzptlk," Peter-38 snarled, recognizing him.
"Gesundheit," Courtney replied.
"Oh, hello Supergirl, Spider-Man." Mxyzptlk greeted his friends.
In Washington's streets, Miles was determined to stand his ground against Black Adam, the former ruler of Khandaq. As electricity crackled around his body, Miles charged forward fearlessly, leaping off the side of a nearby building with his fists sparking with energy. The two combatants faced off against each other, with Black Adam looking down at Miles with a sneer on his face, his voice deep and menacing.
"You dare to face me, boy?" Black Adam said, his voice deep and menacing. "You are nothing compared to the power I possess."
Despite knowing that he was outmatched, Miles refused to back down. He had faced impossible odds before, both on his own and with others. He was determined to give it his all against his powerful foe.
"You're not going to get rid of me that easily," Miles muttered to himself.
The two heroes clashed repeatedly, trading blows and dodging attacks. Miles' spider sense allowed him to anticipate Black Adam's moves, but the villain's strength was too much for him to handle.
Finally, Black Adam unleashed a powerful blast of lightning that sent Miles flying across the battlefield, crashing into a nearby building. His body was battered and bruised, but Miles refused to give up. He pulled himself up with a determined look on his face, knowing that he couldn't win this fight with brute force alone.
He reached deep within himself and tapped into his own unique abilities. Suddenly, Miles was surrounded by a glowing aura of energy, and his movements became faster and more fluid. He darted around Black Adam, striking him with lightning-fast punches and kicks that the villain couldn't even see. But Black Adam then punched Miles and sent him flying into the side of a building.
Black Adam approached him slowly, a cruel smile on his face. "You should have known better than to challenge me," he said. "Now you will pay the price."
But Miles wasn't finished yet. He pulled himself to his feet, a determined look on his face. He knew he couldn't win this fight with brute force alone, so he reached deep within himself and tapped into his unique abilities.
Suddenly, Miles was surrounded by a glowing aura of energy, something he had been working on since the Brainiac invasion, and his movements became faster and more fluid. He darted around Black Adam, striking him with lightning-fast punches and kicks that the villain couldn't even see.
Black Adam roared in frustration as Miles landed blow after blow, his lightning bolts unable to connect with the young hero. Finally, Miles delivered a devastating uppercut that sent Black Adam crashing to the ground.
The villain struggled to get back up, but Miles was ready for him. He unleashed one final blast of energy that left Black Adam unconscious on the ground.
Miles stood over his fallen foe, his breathing heavy and his body still crackling with electricity. He had won the fight, but he knew that there would be more battles to come. For now, he would savor his victory and continue to hone his own unique powers.
Miles saw he was at least asleep, but knew he wasn't down yet. "Now, what do I have to do to stop you?"
"That is easy." Someone said, causing Miles to turn around and see Dr. Strange. "I'll take it from here, and you need to come with me."
Miles was confused, but thought he might recognize the guy. "Dr. Strange?"
"Oh, so we've met." Dr. Srange took notice. "Good, because I have no idea who you are. But if I had to guess, you're the Spider-Man those guys were talking about." He then opened a portal to some street where they saw Frankie and Zod still fighting. "Let's get the rest of them and get out of here. Those 5th dimensional freaks should have evacuated the Lighthouse by now."
