After last night, I couldn't sleep. I've given up on getting a good night's rest, at least not until I find Klaus and deal with him. Instead of sleeping and waiting for a call from Elijah or the others, I'm being proactive.

I've been spending all morning looking for Nik. I've come to the conclusion that he had a witch make sure I couldn't find him. Nik knew that I would wake up eventually, unlike my other siblings. Which means, he knew that I would look for him. I am getting the feeling that the spell he used on himself is the same spell he used so I couldn't find our other siblings.

Regardless, I have to find him before Elijah does and before Nik decides to come out of the shadows to kill the doppelgänger. Until Elijah gets over this desire to kill our brother, this is something I have to do alone.

knock knock*

I heard a knock on my door while trying to locate Nik, but I didn't bother to open it. There was only one person who knew where I lived and he was getting on my nerves at the moment.

knock knock*

"Go away, Elijah!" I scream at the closed door.

knock knock knock knock*

"Oh my lord." I say annoyed and finally decide to open the door. When I open it, I see Elijah leaning against the doorframe, and I can see the annoyance on his face.

"What do you want?" I ask him, crossing my arms.

"Well, first I'm wondering why I cannot walk in." Elijah states

"Maybe I haven't invited you in." I state sarcastically.

"Sister, if this attitude is because of what I said last night, you need to let it go. I already made my feelings about Niklaus clear." Elijah stands up straight now.

"Well, brother, you should know how petty I can be. So sorry that you said you would kill our brother; it hit a nerve." I say, smiling sarcastically.

"It is necessary if we want humanity to survive." Elijah stated.

"Humanity can go to hell. Besides, Nik would never wipe out all of humanity. His gigantic ego requires him to gloat to someone over how powerful he is." I roll my eyes.

Elijah looked behind me to see what I had been doing before I answered the door. I moved in front of him so he wouldn't get a view.

"There's nothing for you to see." I state quickly.

"You are trying to locate him, aren't you?"

"Maybe. Maybe not. It's none of your concern."

"Sister..", Elijah states in a disappointed tone.

"Brother.." In the same tone, I mock him.

Elijah sighed, knowing that I wouldn't let him in or tell him what I was doing. "Okay, Kallandra. I'll let you be and let you come to your senses on your own."

I gave him a quick fake smile before he whooshed away. I slammed my door right after the encounter.

I don't believe my brother can be so calm about the situation. Nik has made some terrible mistakes in the past. We all have. But he wouldn't ever drown our siblings. I know that for a fact.

Elijah is the one who needs to come to his senses, not me!

"AHHHHHH!" I scream at the top of my lungs, and objects go flying across the room. I break a few glasses in the process.

I should really control my anger. I hate a mess, and I'm the only one who can clean this up. "Damn it."

After about half an hour of cleaning, I got a call from Damon. It's not a day in this new life without one.

"I'm kinda busy right now, Damon." I say, sweeping up the glass.

"You said you knew something about werewolves, right?" Damon asks. He speaks in a monotone voice, but I hear the trembling in his voice as well.

"Uh, yeah why?" I put down the broom and asked.

"What exactly happens when a vampire is bitten by a werewolf?" Damon asks.

"Why were you bitten?" I asked worried.

"No, a friend of mine was bitten. Okay? Now what happens when you're bitten?" Damon asks, annoyed and seemingly angry. I sit down to try to remember all the symptoms.

"Um, vampires get hallucinations, they get an extremely high fever, go rabid like a crazy animal..." I state, trying to remember anything else. "Basically, a werewolf bite does kill a vampire, but in a slow, painful way."

For a few seconds, I didn't hear a word from Damon's end. I could have been more settled with my approach.

"Damon!" I yelled into the phone to get his attention.

"Um, yeah, here. Is there a cure for it?" He asks me.

The cure. I don't know why, but I feel that I cannot lie to him. He seems very worried about whoever was bitten. But I can't say the cure is Nik's blood either.

"I'm not sure..." I state. "Look, where are you? And who was bitten?"

"Well, I'm heading to the grill to deal with the person who caused this problem." Damon stated angrily. "But Elena is at our house with Rose."

So, Rose was bitten. That makes sense. I've only been in the same room with them once, and I felt the sexual tension. He must really care for her if he's trying to find a cure.

"Okay. I'm on my way." And then I hang up the phone.

Once I arrived, I heard noise coming from down the hall. I rushed down there and entered the room where I heard the noise. All I saw was Rose choking Elena. I immediately gave Rose an aneurysm.

"Rose! Snap out of it!" I scream at her, and Elena looks at me and runs to stand behind me. "What is going on?"

"She thought I was Katherine." Elena says, out of breath. She's already having hallucinations. I stop the aneurysm to see if Rose is her true self.

"Rose? Are you okay now?" Elena asks, and Rose looks up. She no longer has black veins surrounding her eyes, and I realize she snapped out of it.

"Oh my god, Elena. I'm so sorry." Rose stated sincerely, and Elena nodded, still a little frightened. I just sighed, knowing what was unfolding. "I don't know what is happening to my mind..."

"Your mind is playing tricks on you." I state, and Elena walks Rose to the bed. "It's part of being bitten."

"How do I make it stop. Can it stop?" Rose asked, worried, and Elena looked at me with a worried face.

"Look, all I know is that the symptoms get worse. Eventually, you will start going on a rampage, and acting like a wild beast." I tell Rose straight up. She deserves to know what she's about to come.

"So there is nothing we can do?" Elena asks. I look at a piece of wood that had fallen on the floor, and Elena looks in the same direction. "No, absolutely not. What just happened only occurred for a second; I'm fine."

I look at Elena, knowing she is in denial. Which I don't understand. Didn't Rose kidnap her a few days ago?

"Elena, I'm sorry again. Please don't be afraid of me." Rose said as she laid down in the bed.

"I'm not..." I look at Elena and she says it again, "I'm not. She just needs some rest."

I sighed at the situation. "Yeah, go to sleep Rose. Elena, can I talk to you?"

Elena nods her head and we leave Rose alone in the room. We make our way to the kitchen, and Elena turns the faucet on. I guess Rose can't hear us?

"Do you realize she will still hear us talking?" I state, but she just ignores me.

"Whatever, we're not killing Rose."

"Elena, you don't understand the torture she will go through with that bite. Trust me; killing her is mercy."

"We can't just kill her. What if there is a cure, one that you didn't know about? You don't know everything about the supernatural world." Elena states irritatedly.

"I know more than you think. And I know for a fact, that what she is going through now, is worse than death." I stated in a stern tone. "I understand, you don't want to kill her, that's fine. But this is why I'm here."

"No, you're not killing her either."

"You do realize you have the face of a person she hates, right? A vampire with hallucinations about killing someone who looks just like you won't end well." I state, crossing my arms.

"Well, I'm not killing Rose. Before she even has a chance to fight it, she's 500 years old, so I believe she can fight it." Elena states, and I just roll my eyes. She turns off the faucet and heads back to Rose.

"I'm going to help take care of her, so if you are going to help, you can stay but otherwise you can leave." Elena stated, making her way back to the room. How stubborn can this girl possibly be.

I am on the verge of leaving, most likely because I can't stand to see another person suffer through a werewolf bite. The absolute pain I see in their eyes, just to make it all stop. But Elena is too absorbed in her "no killing" idea, that she can't see Rose is begging to be killed.

I'm heading back to the room when I see Elena coming back in my direction worried.

"Uh, Kalle. She's gone." Elena stated.

"What?" I said, mad and worried at the same time. "Okay okay. She couldn't have left the house. Let's split up and find her."

Elena starts to look on this floor, while I'm searching upstairs. I look through every part of every room. After I finish searching the upstairs, I realize she isn't up here. I hear screaming coming from downstairs and rush down there.

I see Rose chasing after Elena, screaming "Katherine". It's about time this ends. I use my magic to rip a stake out of a chair and make my way to stab Rose, but Elena stops me.

"No! I can stop her." Elena looks back at me, then looks at Rose. "Rose, listen. It's Elena, not Katherine. Elena." Rose listens to her, and her veins start to actually disappear. It seems as if it is working, but then she lashes out at both of us.

She throws me across the room and tackles Elena. Shit! I feel a sharp object in my back. I pull back as fast as I can, trying to ignore the pain. This is what happens when I decide to listen to doppelgängers.

I get up and scream at Rose, "Motus!" Rose goes flying to the opposite wall, trying to fight back. Damn it, that glass got in deep; it's making me weak. I go up to her about to stab her in the heart.

"Kalle, stop!" Elena screams from the ground.

"This needs to end before she kills someone!" I scream, ignoring Elena's pleas.

"Kallandra?" Rose asks me. I get confused for a moment, but realize she thinks it's 500 years ago. She sees me as Kallandra right now. I ignore her, but then she says another name. "Alexander.."

I stopped in my tracks as she said that name. I stared at her in confusion. For some reason, that name sounded familiar. Like I knew him. But, I couldn't remember who it was.

"You killed him." Rose muttered as my spell still held on to her. "YOU KILLED HIM!

I am startled back after her last sentence. I did what? In the last 1000 years, I have kept count of every person I have killed. And it is not many. I have remembered every single one of their names as well. But I have never killed someone named Alexander. I know she is hallucinating, but why is this confusing me so much? I was so caught off guard by the situation, I did not realize that I dropped the stake. And with that, my spell was broken.

I tried to get the stake, but Rose was too fast and grabbed it first. She then stabbed me with it and I fell to the floor.

"Kalle!" Elena screams behind me.

"Run...I'm fine, just go." I tell Elena as I bleed on the floor but she hesitates. She eventually tries to run outside, but Rose stops her.

I grabbed the stake out of my stomach and from the ground, where I staked Rose in the leg. Once she bent down, Elena put her nails in the werewolf's bite, and Rose fell down. Elena then grabbed me from the ground and helped me up.

"What are you doing? You can run away." I stated as she put my arm around her shoulder.

"No, I'm not leaving you here to die." She states, and she makes her way upstairs, helping me.

We finally made it upstairs, to I think Stefan's room, and she set me down next to the dresser. Elena then barricaded the door and I used whatever magic was left to seal the door shut.

Elena grabs a piece of wood in case Rose breaks in. Nice to know you're now willing to kill her after she almost ended your life and mine, as far as you're concerned.

I take off the jacket I am wearing, and wrap it around my torso, to stop the bleeding. One thing that is different about me and my siblings is that I don't heal as fast as they do. I do heal eventually, but it takes hours, sometimes even days to heal. Though, it works out because people cannot tell I am immortal; I can postpone healing as long as I want to.

Elena finally focused on me, wondering the same thing I had in the back of my mind. "What the hell happened back there? You were ready to kill Rose, but then she told you a name and you froze. So what happened?"

I look at her with the same confused face she is giving me. I was caught off guard by a name I didn't even know. How could I let this happen?

"And who is Alexander?", Elena asks.

There it is again. That feeling I had earlier when I heard that name. It's like, I know who he is, but I don't. The name is like itching at the tip of my tongue. I meet a lot of people in my 'lifetime', so it's easy to forget an insignificant name. But a person that I have killed? I never forget my victims. And I remember all their faces. Why can't I remember him?

"I have no idea."
