Once we sit Tyler down, Stefan tells Tyler how much of a good friend Caroline is and how they can all be friends and work together. I get bored midway through so I stop paying attention. Suddenly, Tyler receives a phone call.

He answers it, and Tyler tries to ask for help, but Stefan immediately takes the phone from him and hangs up.

"Who's number was that?" Stefan asks and Tyler does not say a word. "Dammit Tyler I'm trying to save your life, can't you see that."

"Wait. What are you talking about?" I asked, confused. Who is he saving his life from?

"Look, Damon is not really glad that Tyler is a werewolf and wants him dead." Stefan explains himself.

"What?" Tyler freaked out and tried to leave, but I forced him to sit down.

"Wait, what does killing Tyler do for Damon?" I ask, still confused.

"It gets rid of his werewolf problem."

"But there are still other werewolves in town." I state, and Tyler looks at me surprised that I know this.

"I don't know Kalle, okay! This is how Damon is; he kills people just for the fun of it." Stefan states, and Tyler gets worried.

"I don't work like that. I have met many people who just kill to feel something and I'm not going through this again. So tell Damon, he needs another way or you guys won't have my help for long." I say angrily. Nik has killed thousands. My family has killed thousands and I had to deal with it for centuries. But I am not going through this again.

I let Tyler go from my spell and let him be free again. I take a seat across from him to try to make things right.

"Tyler. We aren't trying to hurt you, or at least I'm not." I say, looking back at Stefan annoyed, and he just rolls his eyes. "But this won't work, if you don't trust us. I understand that you just met me, but seriously, you will get hurt if you don't trust the right people. And this way, you can still be friends with your friends without them feeling like you are the enemy."

Tyler looks as if he's finally starting to come around. Just then, Stefan receives a phone call.

"Is everything okay?" Stefan asked. His tone then changed.

"Who is this?" Stefan states angrily and I look up at him to see the problem. He thinks for a second before giving his next answer.

"Jules...Where's Caroline?" Stefan stated in a harsh manner, and I immediately stood up. I knew this werewolf would be trouble.

"Put her on speaker." I whisper to him and he does.

"You made a mistake, Stefan. I'm going to give you a chance to fix it." Jules said over the phone.

"Where is she?" Stefan asks again not caring about Jules statement.

"Right here, want proof?" She rebuttals back. I look at him confused and he gives me the same look.

We then hear a gunshot and Caroline screaming from the pain. I jump back startled from it and Stefan just gets even more furious. He takes her off speaker.

"Hurt her again, and you're dead." Stefan says in a serious tone. I look at Tyler with an angry face as he looks away, shocked.

"I told you. Bad things will happen if you don't trust the right people." I say to him frustrated.

Tyler looks distressed and once Stefan hangs up, Stefan looks just as stressed.

"I need to call Elena. Grab him and bring him to the car." Stefan said irritably.

"Wait... I didn't mean for this to happen." Tyler pleaded.

"Yeah well, this is what happens when you trust the wrong people. Let's go." I say forcefully bringing him off the couch and walking him to the car.

Stefan quickly followed. Once I had him in the backseat, we were on our way.

It's unbelievable how many times this group gets itself caught.

I hate dealing with werewolves. I've always hated werewolves and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, especially for my brother's sake. But they just get angry too easily. Can't even do a simple compromise. They get on my nerves and I try to avoid them as much as possible.

"So, what's the plan?" I asked Stefan.

"We give him over, she gives us Caroline." Stefan states and I look at him confused.

"That's it? You're just going to give her what she wants?"

"Do you have a better plan? I can't hurt Tyler because he's Elena's friend." Stefan argues with me.

"Yeah, well, 'Elena's friend' got Elena's best friend kidnapped. So I think that cancels it out." I state, justifying hurting Tyler.

"Aren't you the same person who said just a few moments ago that you don't like killing innocent people?" He questioned me.

"Exactly. Killing, not hurting. I'm just trying to give us some leverage here." I explain.

"I'm right here, you know?" Tyler speaks from the backseat.

"Shut up!!" Stefan and I both scream at him and he keeps quiet. I calm myself as I'm so sick and tired of this group being in a life and death situation every moment of the day.

"I don't trust werewolves. When we arrive, there is a 99% probability of a pack of werewolves waiting to pounce on us." I state.

"Yeah. I am fully aware." Stefan says, looking at our options. "Are you ready to use your powers again? I know you're injured, but we're going to need it."

"What do you want me to do?", I asked.

"I don't know. Figure it out. But this is only if the pack shows up okay? Otherwise, I can handle it." Stefan says, looking away from the road and at me. "Got it?"

"Yeah. Yeah. Got it." I stated a little annoyed that he was talking down to me.

Once we arrive, I realize we are a good mile from where we were supposed to meet them. I guess we'll walk the rest of the way. Stefan takes Tyler out of the car and starts walking into the woods.

"Look, I'm going to press this button if anything goes wrong. It will send off an alarm in my car. The minute that alarm goes off, you come, right?" Stefan whispers to me, and I nod.

"Please, don't die. Okay?" I ask from the car.

"I'll try my best." Stefan continued walking into the woods, until I couldn't see him anymore.

I stayed in the car for a few minutes. It would take a minute to walk to his destination. I was anxiously waiting for the alarm to go off. I had a feeling there were more than one werewolf here. But that stupid alarm still hadn't gone off.

Stefan. Press it. Still nothing. What is taking him so long? I checked my phone and realized it's only been two minutes.

I have to calm down. Maybe I was worrying over noth-

beep beep*

As soon as I hear that alarm, I get out of the room and make my way to where the exchange is taking place. I try to rush as fast as possible. But all I see is trees and more trees. Ugh. I hate the forest.

I started to hear a lot of noise, so I made my way to that area. I finally saw someone. But he had his heart ripped out by...

Damon. Well, I'm here.

I can give them all an aneurysm, but focusing only on werewolves and not vampires will take up a lot of energy. Energy I don't have because of this stupid stake incident.

I have to heal. Otherwise, I won't be able to control my power and hurt the right people. I start to heal my stomach as fast as I can. Once my wound is healed, I look back at the fight and realize both Stefan and Damon are on the floor, with Caroline pinned to this trailer. I also see someone about to stake Damon. Hey, if anyone is going to kill him, it's going to be me.

I gave him an aneurysm, along with all the other werewolves around here. Except for Tyler. The werewolf about to shoot Caroline fell to the ground, as did the one about to stake Damon.

I walked closer to the action to make sure all the werewolves were down. I saw Stefan and Damon slowly getting up from the ground.

"If this doesn't prove I am on your side, I don't know what else to say." I say out of breath. They all just stare at me with shock. "What?"

"How the hell did you only take out the werewolves." Stefan asks confused.

"A special talent of mine." I shrug my shoulders.

"You are now my new favorite person." Damon says, making his way to me, and I roll my eyes at his ignorance.

"Yeah well I appreciate the praise, but we need to get out of here. Like now." I tell them all and they start making their way back to the car. I stay back a second to tell Tyler something.

"When your friends wake up, I need you to give them a message. Get the hell out of this town, or I will give them something worse than an aneurysm." I tell Tyler, threatening him, and he is taken aback. This was the only reason why he wasn't in the ground with them. "I tried being nice. I'm done being nice."

"Kalle, let's go!" Damon screams at me, and I start to make my way back to the group.

I ran back to the others, when I saw them all waiting for me. Once I came up to them, Caroline ambushed me and gave me a very tight hug.

"Thank you so much for saving me. How could I ever repay you?" Caroline asked, squeezing the life out of me.

"Um, you can let go of me." I say, barely breathing. Caroline stops hugging me.

"Oh, sorry." Caroline says, apologizing.

"It's fine. And don't worry. I promise you guys I will help, and I am keeping my promise." I state, and they all nod. I can see Damon looking at me confused, and I give him the same look. What's his problem?

"Hey, so I'm taking Caroline home so I can drop you off.." Stefan stated.

"Actually, I needed to talk to her." Damon told Stefan.

"Uh. Okay. Yeah, I'll just go with Damon." I stated, still confused on why Damon was looking at me like that. Was he looking at my healed wound?

"Kalle," Stefan began, "I wanted to thank you for today. You were actually really helpful." He looked at me with a surprised face.

"Are you saying you were wrong?" I asked, intrigued.

"Is baby brother admitting to his mistake?" Damon asks mockingly, and I give another sarcastic surprised face.

"Both of you, shut up. Okay? All I'm saying is that I may have judged you before I even had a chance to know you, so thank you for tonight." Stefan says it sincerely.

"You're welcome. But don't expect me to save your ass every time you get into trouble." I say, laughing, and Stefan nods knowingly.

I try to lighten up the mood a little, but I can see Caroline is still distressed. "But yeah of course. You should get home now."

"Yeah, I just want to lie down and take a nice shower." Caroline said in a low, sad tone.

"Yeah. Let's go." Stefan stated and led her to the car.

"Ready?" Damon asks as he wraps his arm around my waist. I can feel it moving, so I slap his hand.

"Go any lower, and I'll give you the biggest migraine of your life." I threaten him, and he just laughs it off. He then whizzes us out of the woods, straight to his house.

Once we arrive, he immediately asks if I want a drink. I obviously say yes, as it's been a long night. I fear this will become a daily thing.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked while sipping my glass.

"Two things actually. First of all, care to tell me what happened to that wound?" Damon asks directly.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Don't play dumb with me. I don't like it when people play dumb." Damon says in a menacing tone, and I just roll my eyes.

"Okay. It healed. What about it?" I ask trying to get to the point of this.

"In 24 hours?", Damon questioned.

"My magic sped up the healing process." I said finishing the rest of my drink.

"So you can heal yourself faster." He continued to question me.

"Yeah, I guess so." I immediately retaliate.

"Just like that?"

"Just like that." I say right back smiling. He looks at me knowing I'm hiding something. But as long as he doesn't find out what I'm hiding, I couldn't care less if he knows I have a secret. Everyone has something to hide.

"Is that all?" I asked him, knowing he couldn't prove that regular witches' magic couldn't help themself.

"No, I have to tell you something else." He switches the subject stating.

"What?" I asked, relieved that he changed the subject.

"Do you remember that guy Stefan and I were talking about earlier?" Damon asks.

"Uh, yeah. Elena's dad, right?" I ask, and he nods. "What about him?"

"Well.." Damon started talking, but the doorbell rang. He looked at me confused and I shrugged my shoulders. Damon went over to open the door and standing there was a man I have never seen before.

"Speaking of the devil. What do you want?" Damon said rudely. Is that Elena's father?

"We never finished our conversation." The man said at the door.

"Well, there's someone here at the moment" He says, pointing at me, and I give the man at the door a short wave. "But I'll bite."

"And who is this?" The man walked into the house.

"Kalle." I stand up from the couch, and he looks at me with realization.

"Oh, you're the new witch who has been protecting my daughter." The man came up to me.

"And you must be the 'not so dead' father I've been hearing so much about." I state, crossing my arms. "You don't seem as terrible as they make you out to be."

"Because I am not. These boys just like to hold a grudge." He says making his way to the table behind the couch.

"Yeah well sorry getting burn to a crisp made me a little resentful. Now care to tell us why you are here John?" Damon asks in his same rude manner.

"Well, personal feelings side, I think you and Stefan will do whatever it takes to protect Elena." John states.

"I agree with that statement." Damon says in a less meaner tone.

"So, I come bear in gifts." John states. I come to the table to see what he brought as well. Nothing in the world could of prepared me for what I was about to see.

The dagger. How the hell did he get his hands on it. I have not seen a dagger since I pulled the one in me out. But wait, daggers don't even work on Nik. I compose myself so my face does not give out the fact I know what this is.

"What is it?" I ask pretending not to know.

"This is how you kill an original." John tells both Damon and I. Okay. He doesn't know the dagger does not fully kill an original, that's good.

"In this bottle, is ash from a white oak tree that dates back to the genesis of the originals. You dip the dagger into the ash, then plunged into the heart." John explains.

Damon looks at John skeptical. By the way Damon and Stefan talked of him, I'm guessing he is not someone to trust. I look at him with the same skeptical eyes, even though I know he is telling the truth.

"How do you know all of this John?" Damon asks skeptical.

"Isabel. She's very good at finding out things. Oh of course you know that." John states.

"Where is Isabel?" Damon immediately questions.

"Let's just say if she accomplishes what she is attempting, Klaus will never step foot into Mystic Falls." John tells Damon. "For Elena's concern, you and I are on the same side.

John then starts to make his way out of the house, without even saying a goodbye. Rude much?

"So, we don't trust him?" I ask Damon.

"Absolutely not. But I don't think he is lying about the dagger and ash." Damon states and I worry. If they decide to backstab Elijah, I won't be able to pull the dagger out and I will have to deal with Nik alone. I cannot do that.

"But I thought you said he was a liar and he burned you to a crisp." I state trying to make him question the dagger. "Maybe we should do some research on it first."

"Yeah you're right. We should not blind fully trust him. But I will keep this with me just in case." Damon states and I nod.

"Um, what did you have to tell me earlier about John?" I ask Damon and his face changes.

"Oh. You know actually, I will tell you later. I think we should rest for tonight and deal with this." Damon states in an awkward manner. Weird.

"Okay. Well I can just walk home. I'll see you tomorrow." I tell him and he nods.

I leave the house extremely confused with what just happened. But all I know is that I need to call Elijah. He needs to know that they have a dagger.
