Chapter 7

Geed's fate

Nezu was sorting some files in his office, as he kept looking at the time. Today was the day. The day where heroes he asked to come to the UA and they would discuss Ultraman Geed or rather Izuku Midoriya. Nezu knew what he wanted, but he knew that there were heroes out there who would want to lock Izuku up for breaking the law. And he didn't want to think about what the hero safety commission would do.

Thinking about the commission Nezu frowned. Ever since that incident with the alien Babarue they been acting weird, at least not on the surface. From what he could tell Lady Nagant hasn't been let out of Solitary confinement yet. Apparently, she's been trying to break out, but Nezu didn't buy it at all.

Nezu then got up and started to head to the meeting room they were going to use for this. He wondered if the hero commission would look into this meeting, after all there were some big-name heroes coming to it, and the reason he gave was how to improve teaching the students.

At the same time two heroes were walking to the meeting room but were going slow. All Might and Sir Nighteye made sure no one was close by as they quietly talked.

"So, Zero promised to stay quite?" Asked All Might as there was no telling how the others would react to their situation.

"He did. But he did warn me that if people talked enough smack about him, he would take over." Said Nighteye with a groan.

"Really." Was all All Might could say as Zero took over.

"I save countless worlds, and couple universes. I'm not going to sit back and let them insult me." Defended Zero, but he knew the situation they were in and would take what he could.

Hearing that All Might somewhat understood where Zero was coming from. At the same time Nighteye took over and groaned as he had a bad feeling about this meeting.

The two entered the room and saw the heroes present. Frist there was some the UA staff Eraser Head, President Mic, and Midnight, next was Endeavor, Hawks, Kamui woods and Mount lady.

They also saw a dark skin woman with white hair that went down past her waist. She wore a white leotard with a dark purple trim around her shoulders and waist, white a yellow crescent moon over her chest. Around her midriff was thick metal plate. She wore thigh-high purple boots with plating around her heels and toes making them look like rabbit feet. On her hands she wore a pair of thick white gloves. Finally, she had a white bunny tail on her rear and rabbit ears coming out of her head. This was the rabbit hero: Mirko.

"Sorry we're late." Said All Might a the two took their seats.

"That's all right, were still waiting on one more, but we can start now." Said Nezu confusing the others.

"Won't the last one be confused when they get here?" Asked Hawks curious.

"They're stuck in traffic, so it may be a while. That and he knows what's going on." Explained Nezu surprising Eraser head.

"He knows?" Questioned Eraser.

"Yes, I told him when I invited him." Said Nezu shocking Eraser.

"And why are we here?" Asked Endeavor. "I doubt this is about the school."

"In a way yes. But the truth is we know who Ultraman Geed is." Said Nezu shocking everyone as this even got Zero's attention.

"You have how?" Asked Endeavor shocked.

"Eraser saw him transform when he went to save some people." Answered Nezu as he brought up Izuku's file.

"His name is Izuku Midoriya." Said Nezu as the heroes read his file.

"This is Geed? He looks weak." Said Mirko as she saw he has no quirk.

'Looks aren't everything.' Thought Zero as Nighteye rubbed his eyes as he felt a headache coming.

"Wait if he has no quirk, how does he become a giant?" Asked Mount Lady confused as all eyes turned to Eraser.

"I saw him with some sort of item. With it he transformed." Eraser told them as this confused the heroes, expect Nighteye.

"So he uses some sort of support item?" Questioned Midnight as that was interesting.

"Then we should take the item from him and give it to someone else." Suggested Kami woods as he didn't like the idea of a kid taking matters into his own hands.

"But what if it only works for him?" Asked Nighteye as some thought about it.

"I think the question we should ask is where did he get it?" Said Hawks.

"What do you mean?" Asked Midnight confused.

"Well ever since Geed first appeared he always rushed to every fight, expect when the first monster attack. So that means he didn't have it before the fight." Said Hawks as Endeavor nodded in agreement.

"That would match how he looked confused at first." Added Endeavor.

"Listen we're starting to go in circles here. Let's just arrest the kid and be done with it." Said Eraser as a few heroes agreed with him.

'Strike one.' Thought Zero as Nighteye got a little worried

"Wait!" Said All Might. "If we do arrest him and lock him up. What will we do if another monster attacks?"

Hearing that no hero answered as they tried and failed to stop the first monster.

"As much as I hate to admit it, we need Geed for any future monster attacks or alien attacks." Said Endeavor as all heroes knew when those two agree on something it was important.

"Don't tell me you believe that crack pot about him being an alien. They don't exist." Said Mirko was smirk.

'Strike two.' Thought Zero as Nighteye knew it was over.

"Or maybe humans are too narrow minded to see what's in front of them." Said a new voice.

Everyone looked over and saw man wearing a nice suit there. He had short black hair and black eyes.

"Sorry I'm late." Said the man but his mouth never moved.

"That's alright." Said Nezu as he introduced the man. "This here is Sena Hideki. He is the minister of immigration."

Hearing that confused the heroes and Nighteye felt Zero knew why.

"Not to sound rude, but why is Mr. Hideki here?" Asked Kami woods voicing everyone's question.

Sena and Nezu shared a look as they understood each other.

"Because I'm an alien." Said Sena as his face flickered and changed.

His face was now gold, and his eye were pure white. His hair was gone, and a white helmet appeared.

"What are you?!" Asked Eraser as his quirk did nothing on him.

"My real name is Zenna. I am alien Shadow from the planet Shadow." Said Zenna as no one said anything.

"Then why are you here?" Asked President Mic confused.

"It's a long story, but to put simply I came to this world to live here." Answered Zenna.

"Are you an illegal alien?" Asked Nighteye curious.

"No, I went through the proper channels to live here. And now I help others to live here." Answered Zenna as his mouth still didn't move.

Both Zenna and Nezu smirked at the shocked and confused faces of the heroes before them. As Hawks was the first to recover.

"Then why are you at this meeting?" Hawks asked as he had a good idea.

"Better yet, how did you know Nezu?" Asked Eraser as he gave his boss a look.

Nezu just chuckled before answering. "It was blind luck really. I noticed a few things didn't add up with some general studies students. As I looked into it, I saw they weren't from Japan," Started Nezu as Zenna took over.

"His hunt got him on our radar. We knew sooner or later Nezu would find out, so we filled him in, and he became an ally for us." Finished Zenna.

"Wait does that mean there are alien heroes!?" Questioned President Mic as the others thought about that.

"No there are not. We have rules and regulations that aliens have to follow. One of which they are not allowed to touch hero work in anyway. Coming to the UA for their general studies is as far as we will push it." Answered Zenna as the heroes thought about it.

"Why not, it would be interesting to see alien heroes." Said Mirko with a grin.

"You might be willing, but would others?" Asked Zenna.

"What do you mean? They would have to find out first?" Asked All Might confused.

"All Might, you of all people know how the media is. They can be relentless sometimes, and if they find something is missing or wrong, they will pursue it." Said Nighteye as all the heroes knew how that felt.

"But still, I would like to think we're willing to live and work together." Said Mount Lady.

"Are you sure?" Asked Zenna as he continued.

"Because we don't think so. Remember when quirks first appeared? Those people were shunned for no reason other then being different. And today it's the opposite the quirk less are looked down upon as if they aren't even human. Human claims that they are willing to accept change or learn from their mistakes, but they don't. Afterall look at people who have mutation type quirks. They are still shunned and even attacked just for being different. People also believe the world is black and white when it isn't. Until we feel humanity is ready, we will stay in the shadow's or at least that was the plan."

Hearing that no one said anything as they thought about what Zenna said.

'He's right you know. I've seen it on multiple worlds.' Said Zero making Nighteye wonder.

"Anyway, we're getting off topic here. I'd invited Zenna here for his take on this." Said Nezu as that got everyone out of their heads.

"Wait, Zenna do you know where the other Ultraman is? Zero I think his name was." Asked Endeavor curious.

"I do not." Admitted Zenna.

"He must not be that great if he's been hiding all this time." Said Mirko as Nighteye eyes went wide.

'Let me at her.' Snarled Zero as he took over.

"Big words for such a small person." Said Zero confusing the others.

"Oh no." Was all All Might could say.

"Nighteye are you ok?" Asked Midnight worried.

"I'm not Nighteye, I'm just sharing his body right now." Said Zero shocking the heroes.

"Who are you then!?" Demanded Endeavor as he got up.

"I'm Zero. Ultraman Zero!" Said Zero shocking the heroes, before some of them laughed.

"I heard you got a weird sense of humor Nighteye, but that takes the cake." Laughed Mirko as Zero glared at her.

All the while All Might looked worried and paled when he saw Zero grab his mask the Ultra zero eye.

Everyone saw this as well as Zero put it on his face and pressed the button. There was a flash of light and when it died down everyone was shocked to see Ultraman Zero there.

"You were saying." Zero said smugly as Eraser looked at Zero.

"Where's the real Nighteye." Demanded Eraser.

"He's here." Said Zero as he pointed at his chest.

"What do you mean?" Asked Midnight confused.

"Nighteye was on deaths door, and I was severely weakened. We Ultra's can merge with other species, and we can heal both ourselves and whoever we merge with." Explained Zero as this amazed the others.

"So the rumors are true then." Said Zenna with a thoughtful gesture.

"Rumors?" Asked Kamui Woods looking at the alien.

"There are rumors that Ultra warriors would merge with other species, but they were just that rumors. So no one took it seriously." Answered Zenna.

They then heard something beeping and Zero grunting. Everyone looked at the Ultra as he looked weak and the light on his chest was flashing red.

"You alright Zero?" Asked Hawks as he and everyone else wondered what that light meant.

"No, I'm still recovering from a fight." Said Zero keeping it vague on purpose.

"I thought you were healing along with Nighteye?" Asked All Might confused.

"Not fully." Admitted Zero. "I've been focusing on Nighteye's health more then my own."

Hearing that shocked Nighteye as he never knew that.

"But I'm going to say this. If you go after that kid, you'll be answering to me!" Said Zero shocking the heroes.

"And what will you do?" Asked Nezu curious.

"I'm not sure. But the kid has great potential. And if the person who I think is responsible it behind all this, is responsible then he'll be needed." Said Zero making the other heroes confused.

"Who do you think is behind this?" Asked Endeavor curious.

But Zero grunted more as their was a flash of light and Zero turned back into Nighteye.

"A fallen Ultraman." Was all Zero said as he gave Nighteye back control. Nighteye saw all the eyes still on him making him a little nervous.

"Excuse me." Said Nighteye as he got up and left the room, as he had some words for Zero.

"Can we still trust him?" Asked Eraser worried.

"What are you talking about?" Asked All Might in shock.

"We know nothing about Zero. For all we know he's a villain." Said Eraser as Kami Woods agreed with him.

"Zero isn't a villain." Said Zenna.

"How do you know?" Asked Mirko as Zero looked like a tough fighter.

"I've heard stories about him. To be blunt he's the All Might for the Ultramen." Said Zenna shocking everyone especially All Might and Endeavor.

"But enough of the side talk, me must choose what we should do." Said Nezu getting the other back on track again.

"I know some of you want to arrest him. And I understand where you are coming from. But we just heard from Zero someone could be behind these monster attacks. Can any of you say we can survive another attack without him?" Asked Nezu as no hero said anything.

"We can't." Said Endeavor with a frustrated look on his face. "I attacked that first monster with nearly everything I had, and it did nothing to it."

"But it vanished remember." Said Kamui Woods as Endeavor did more then he did.

"Yes, but I was given permission to use my higher heat in the city. But it may not happen in the future." Endeavor told them making them think.

"I might have a solution for everyone." Said Nezu as he explained. "Mr. Midoriya is already trying to get into the school in the general studies course. We will instead transfer him into the hero course."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Asked Midnight worried.

"She's right, if the commission ever found out…" Said Hawks as he wasn't sure himself.

"We have them cover." Said Nezu and Zenna at the same time. This made the heroes wonder two things. One how will they cover it and two did they practice that.

"Before we start making his timetable, maybe we should talk to young Midoriya." Said All Might as he had a point.

"Are you kidding me!" They heard Nighteye yell from outside the room.

The heroes said nothing as they weren't sure what to do. Some thought Nighteye was compromised and a danger, due to Zero. Others weren't sure what to think. Only All Might felt sorry for the two as they were willing to work together at times, but the two just couldn't click.

"Getting back on track." Said Nezu as he didn't seem fazed by Nighteye and Zero. "All Might is right. We should talk to Mr. Midoriya about this."

"This is a waste of time." Said Eraser. "If he wanted to be a hero, he shouldn't have charged into a fight like that."

"I agree." Added Kamui woods.

"If he did wait, there might not be a Japan." Said Endeavor as he hated to admit it.

"He's not wrong. And we've seen at least five giant monsters so far, who know show many more are out there." Said All Might as that was a scary thought.

"Hundreds." Said Zenna. "Some are even considered so deadly that they've wiped out entire worlds."

"Entire worlds." Paled Mount lady scared hoping those monsters never come their way.

"Face it Eraser, Woods we need him." Said Hawks as the two didn't look happy.

"Then I will call him." Said Nezu as he used the phone in the room to call him. After a couple rings someone answered.

"Hello." Said Izuku on the other side.

"Hello Mr. Midoriya. This is principal Nezu of the UA. Or would you rather I call you Ultraman Geed?" Said Nezu as they could hear Izuku stutter on the other side.

"Ultraman Geed?! Me?! There's no way!" Said Izuku a little too fast as he nervously chuckled at the end.

"Mr. Midoriya, we have an eyewitness seeing you transform into Geed." Informed Nezu as the line was quiet.

"I assure you throwing you in jail is the last thing on my mind." Nezu told Izuku.

"Then what is it then?" Asked Izuku curious.

"Come here and I will tell you in person." Said Nezu, as they could hear Izuku talk to someone, but couldn't make out what it was.

"Ok, I'll be there in a minute or two." Said Izuku as he hung up.

"He must be close by." Said President Mic off hand.

"Everyone." Started All Might as the hero turned to him. "Let's keep Zero a secret for know."

Hearing that confused the other heroes.

"Why?" Asked Hawks voicing everyone's question.

"The two aren't seeing eye to eye and t be honest I feel they need to find common ground first before they should approach young Midoriya." Said All Might as Eraser eyed him.

"Did you know about them before this?" Accused Eraser as the heroes looked at him.

But before All Might could answer the elevator appeared in the room. The heroes were shocked to see it appear literally out of nowhere. The door then opened and Izuku walked out looking nervous. Then the elevator left the same way it came in.

The heroes were shocked to see this. They've never heard of any technology like this before. Even Zenna was surprised. He heard of technology like this but hasn't seen it before.

"Hello." Said Izuku weakly worried and in awe to be surrounded by so many heroes.

"Hello Mr. Midoriya." Greeted Nezu as he didn't seem fazed by how Izuku arrived.

"Would you care for a seat?" Asked Nezu as he gestured to the chair next to him.

Izuku nodded and headed to the seat. As he did he could see Eraser and Kamui Woods giving him dirty looks, while the other heroes looked more interested in him then anything. Izuku sat down and still looked nervous.

"Izuku Midoriya." Started Endeavour making Izuku nervous. "How and why did you become Geed?"

Izuku sat there as the heroes looked at him. To be honest he wasn't sure how to answer them. He was scared they'd lock him up and throw away the key or do experiments on him since he was half human.

"Well." Said Endeavour as Izuku didn't know what to say.

"I think he's scared." Said Zenna as Izuku looked at him for the first time making him gasp.

"You're an alien shadow!" Said Izuku in shock.

"Yes, that's right, but how did you know?" Asked Zenna curious.

"My father left me files on alien races, and I've been studying them." Said Izuku as Zenna nodded.

"So, your half human then." Said Zenna shocking everyone.

"How did you know!?" Said Izuku in shock not realizing what he did said.

"Your mother has a history here on Earth. But your father has next to no history. Can I assume he's an Ultraman?" Asked Zenna as he looked into Izuku's parents thoroughly and found little on his father.

"He is." Said Izuku nervous.

"Amazing." Said Zenna looking at Izuku.

"Why's that?" Asked Midnight confused.

"Ultramen are supposably beings of light. While they do have children, there are no records of them having children with other species. Izuku here is one of a kind." Said Zenna as no one knew what to say.

"So your half human?" Asked All Might looking at Izuku as he would have never known.

"Yes." Was all Izuku said.

"When did you find out?" Asked All Might curious.

"When Skull Gomora attacked the city for the first time." Said Izuku as Hawks noticed something.

"You know what that beast is called?" Hawks asked him.

Izuku nodded as he explained that night. How he and his mom found out about his father, the base, and him becoming Ultraman. The heroes said nothing as this was a lot to take in.

"Theses capsules. They're the reason you become Ultraman?" Asked Eraser as he figured if they took them, they'd get a vilgilante off the streets.

"Not really. I'm already part Ultra, the capsules help me transform." Explained Izuku as he couldn't transform without them.

"Can anyone us them?" Asked Kami Woods thinking the same way as Eraser.

"No, you need to have the power of an Ultraman to us them." Answered Izuku as the two heroes eyed him.

"Is that true?" Asked Eraser questioning his story.

"Then activate this one. Just push up the switch on the side." Said Izuku as he tossed Eraser the Hikari capsule.

Eraser caught it and did what Izuku told him. But no matter what he did he couldn't move the switch on the side. He then looked at Izuku with a frown.

"It doesn't work." Said Eraser thinking he was set up.

Izuku held out his hand for the capsule. Eraser tossed it back to Izuku as Izuku held it up and the activated it. Seeing this caused a President Mic and Midnight to chuckle.

"Tell me young Midoriya, why did you become Geed?" Asked All Might curious.

"All my life I wanted to be a hero, but I have no quirk. And as such people always looked down at me. Then when Skull Gomora attack and I found out who I truly was I had to act." Said Izuku as Kami Woods spoke up.

"So you took the chance to make a name for yourself." Kami Woods said.

"No that not it. I couldn't live with myself knowing that I had the power to save a life but didn't." Said Izuku as his words touched a few heroes.

"I like that." Said Nezu as he liked those words.

"Mr. Midoriya. I would like you to transfer to the hero course. There we can hopefully help you grow as a hero." Said Nezu as this shocked Izuku.

"Will I be allowed to still fight monsters and such as Geed? Because this is probably just the beginning." Asked Izuku as Nezu looked at him.

"The beginning? What do you mean?" Asked Nezu curious as it matched what Zero said.

"The first monster, Skull Gomora, was created someway. That type of monster would never exist naturally." Said Izuku as this scared the heroes a bit.

They could do nothing against that beast. And now they're being told it was made. And worst yet if whoever did this made one, who knows how many more they could make. That alone scared them.

"And." Said Izuku making the heroes look at him again. "There are the little stars."

"Little stars? What are those?" Asked Mirko as they didn't sound dangerous at all.

"I don't know a lot about them, but Little stars can grant you new powers." Said Izuku as All Might, Endeavor, and Hawks realized what he was talking about as they've seen them.

"But there's a drawback to this. Monsters and aliens are attracted to this power." Warned Izuku.

"The how do you get rid of this power? How do you even get it in the first place?" Asked Mount Lady as she didn't want to be monster bait.

"I don't know how people get them. But as for getting rid of them, they have to wish on an Ultraman. Or willing give it to them." Said Izuku as the heroes thought about it.

"This is concerning." Admitted Nezu as he thought about it.

"But for now I think it might be best for Mr. Midoriya here to get a provisional hero license." Said Nezu as Kami Woods stood up.

"You can't be serious! He still just a kid and he broke the laws!" Kami Woods told Nezu as he couldn't believe what he just heard.

"I understand what you are saying. But can we survive another monster or alien attack without Mr. Midoriya here?" Asked Nezu as none of the heroes said anything to say.

"Um." Started Izuku as the heroes looked at him. "How can you even give me that license anyway?"

"We have our ways." Said Nezu and Zenna at the same time.

Izuku looked at All Might confused, as All Might just shrugged not knowing or wanting to know.

"But before that, Mr. Midoriya do you want to come this school in the hero course and to have a provisional hero license?" Asked Nezu as Izuku said nothing.

This is what he wanted all his life. But at the same time this isn't how he pictured it. He looked at the heroes in the room and knew a few of them had a low opinion of him. That was when Izuku realized something.

"Principal Nezu won't me attending the school harm it's reputation?" Asked Izuku as the teachers never thought of that. Everyone then turned to Nezu who looked to be in thought.

"We'll have the students sign waivers, stating they are not allowed to reveal that Izuku is Geed or goes to the school. If they do they will be heavily fined." Said Nezu as this shocked everyone, but Zenna.

"A good idea, Nezu." Said Zenna in agreement.

"You can't be serious." Said Eraser surprised by this.

"I am. Think of it as real-world training." Said Nezu as he then gave Eraser a look. "Isn't that what you do?"

Hearing that made the non-UA staff wonder what he meant by that. But at the same time they choose not to say anything. Eraser grumbled at that as he had no counter.

"Well then are there anymore concerns?" Asked Nezu as Izuku couldn't think of any.

"No." Was all Izuku said as he couldn't think of more.

"Good." Said Nezu with a smile. "You may leave if you want to Mr. Midoriya."

Izuku stood up and looked at Nezu. "Thank you." Said Izuku as he bowed to Nezu while he was fighting back tears of joy.

"Rem the elevator." Said Izuku as he held onto the holder on his belt.

The heroes wondered what that was and who was Rem. That was when the elevator appeared again.

"Hey kid!" Said Mirko making Izuku stop.

"Yes?" Asked Izuku curious.

"How tough do you think you are?" Mirko asked with a grin.

"Um, depends on which form I'm in." Answered Izuku as Mirko smirked.

"Interesting." Said Mirko as she wouldn't mind sparing with Geed.

"Mirko, let him head home. He's been through a lot just now." Said All Might as he knew that grin on the rabbit hero.

"Fine." Said Mirko as Izuku got into the elevator and left.

Outside the room Nighteye and Zero heard the whole thing.

'Interesting.' Said Zero in Nighteye's head.

"What?" Asked Nighteye still annoyed at Zero.

'Izuku is looking into these attacks as well. He even knows that there's something going on.' Said Zero Impressed, even Nighteye was impressed.

'Also…' Trailed off Zero making Nighteye curious.

"What is it?" Nighteye asked Zero.

'That guy Nezu, was never shocked at anything the kid said.' Said Zero as Nighteye's eyes went wide at that. That was true Nezu never once was shocked like the others.

'Who is this Nezu guy anyway?' Asked Zero as Nighteye was starting to wonder that too.

But what Zero didn't say was he knew who Izuku father was and how the kid acted he would never have known. It made him wonder what Belial's plan involving Izuku was. But he knew Izuku had the heart of an ultra and would stand up to him.

Frist off I would like to say this wasn't one of my favorite chapters to write, but it was a necessary one. So if you did not enjoy it I understand.

But Izuku is now going to the UA in the hero course. I know some of you wished he wouldn't, but I just couldn't think of a way to make that work. And there are some chapters that I am looking forward to writing. And here's a glimpse of one, Geed vs Bakugo.
