The episode begins at Gotham's Jewelry Emporium, a place for all your gem needs, inside someone's ground you through the ring case, soon they find what they're looking for a beautiful Diamond bunny placed snugly into a white yellow ring, soon they're off and out of the store as they pass the security desk the blank guard sitting at it draws mindlessly his eyes blow and Eerie purple
later at Wayne Manor Bruce Wayne gets a call from the commissioner
Commissioner Gordon(voice over the phone): Batman there's been another robbery, and I think I'm starting to see a pattern, you remember the other two
Bruce(in his Batman voice): yes commissioner, the first of the cake shop and boutique, I believe someone's Gathering supplies for a wedding, using less than legal means
commissioner Gordon: will the guard on duty says he saw the guy come in but when he looked at him everything went blank and when he woke up the guy was gone
Bruce: interesting, you don't think it's a Hatter trying something do you
commissioner Gordon: who knows, maybe it is, maybe it's some psychic wacko trying to please his woman
Bruce is about to at think the commissioner and go out searching for another night, when there's a knock at his door, when he opens it all that lies in front of him is a note, no it's not a note
it's an invitation
later at the abandoned saint Gertrude's church, the Batmobile pulls up, and soon the bad emerges like the Spectra of vengeance he is
the seeing Cuts you inside where a figure wearing a purple priests uniform stands between two soon to be Weds, he's just about to begin reading from the good book, which is covered with pentagrams when the drawer slams open everyone turns to see..
The Batman: I object!
Purple priest: well you're a bit early with that, but it is good to see you accepted our invitation,(he smiles and his lips a bit too far then a person should)
Batman opens his mouth to begin questioning but before he can get a word out the police snaps his fingers and the people and all the pews stand in unison, the eyes all glow purple
Batman fights valiantly but he misses on a batarang through and in beds in one of the pillars next to the bride and groom, the priest pushes the groom out of the way but before he can rush over to grab the bride the pillow begins falling faster
thinking quick Batman lunches to the bride pushing her to safety, and in the effort knocking off her veil, Batman looks down in shock when he finds the bride is actually
Batman(Surprise): jervis tetch!?
It is indeed Jervis though his eyes don't blow purple he's clearly under some sort of spell, most likely under the effects of his own technology
go Batman only has a couple minutes to take that important detail in when something impacts in the back of his head any slumps forward into the Hatter's plump chest
a couple maybe minutes, maybe hours later the Batman wakes up with a start tied to a chair in a place that is clearly not the church, in front of him is a couch on which lays the hatter and the Scarecrow too busy making out to notice that there captives had woken up
the purple priest(from beside Batman): Oh Betsy you're finally awake, do you like the show
the priest slides into the Batman's View and gestures to the making out villains
Batman: Who are you?, why are you doing this?
the purple priest: that's a good question, first of all my name is Michael, but you may refer to me as the violet eyes, second of all I did this as a favor,(he gestures again to they still making out villains) to them because they're my friends
Batman: I don't believe you
Michael: well you can hear it from their mouths,(turns to the sloppily making out villains), did you like the wedding my friends
Hatter and scarecrow(pulling away from the kiss and in unison): we sure did Mr Michael
Michael(flattered): oh please just call me Michael
they don't respond verbally because they've gone back to making out
Michael(turning back to Batman mock sadness on his face): it's a shame you couldn't see the whole ceremony but you're going to see something real cool
the clap of his hands Batman can only watch in horror as twin zippers go down
hours later the Batman has a look of traumatized horror on his face as Michael is untying his bones
Michael: so what you think, they put on a good show?
Batman only blinks and rubs his sore wrists before getting up and walking out silently
Michael(running up beside him): I don't think you entirely there enough to take it all in,(hands him a videotape) so I taped it for you to see it again and really take in the fine craftsmanship
Michael Smiles like a person though his lips are itching to stretch beyond the limits of human ability, Batman raises a fist and implants it into Michael's smiling face
Michael(on the ground with a slight bloody nose but still smiling): you know I think he liked it
