"Explain to me why I have to go to this school again?" Lucifer asked.

"Because, one, we're bonded and you can't stay far away from me. And two, the school is the other place we haven't checked." Danny sighs, grabbing his bookbag.

The two spend the weekend trying to find Lucifer's missing powers. But they had no luck. Lucifer was starting to think her power might be beyond the town, but Danny couldn't leave. And now she was stuck going to this school.

"You're kidding." She asked.

"Hey, you are the one that shared your powers with me and force us together. Might as well get used to living like a teenager." Danny said.

Lucifer groans before grabbing a red bag from the corner.

"Fine, but once I can recover enough of my powers, I'm dropping from this school!" She said, unhappy.

"Whatever you say, Lucy," Danny said, shaking his head.

Lucifer just groans as she follows Danny outside. They saw Tucker and Sam waiting for them.

"Do you have to bring her along?" Sam asked.

"You think I want to go?" Lucifer asked her.

"Sam, please," Danny said, already hearing about this over the weekend.

Sunday,

"WHAT?!" Sam shouted, at the top of her lungs.

"We looked all over the town. Well, part of it. And I can't skip school. And since Lucifer is still weakened, she can't spit too far from me. Mom and Dad are already explaining the back to the school." Danny said.

"I still don't like this, Danny," Sam said.

"Sorry, dude, but I'm with Sam on this. I mean, you're helping the devil, THE Devil!" Tucker said.

"And you guys keep pointing that out!" Danny groans.

He knows who he's helping, and he knows how his friends feel about it. She was still having a hard time believing it himself. But when you deal with the devil, it had to break free.

"Look you just going to have to deal with it. Oh, and when she's out and about, she's known as Lucy Devilman. My family idea." Danny told them.

Sam frowns and Tucker shook his head. Danny sighs as he knew it was going to take them quite a while to get used to having the devil around.

Today,

Danny sighs as Lucifer turns to him.

"Hey! Wake up! Let's get this over with!" She shouted, making Sam growl under her breath.

"Fine, fine," Danny said, before walking ahead of the group.

"Let's go to school. And Lucy?" Danny said, looking at her.

"What?" Lucifer asked.

"Dash will be there and keep an eye out for the other members I told you about," Danny told her.

'Hmph! I can take care of myself!' Lucifer thought, shaking her head.

The four teens headed to the school unknowing that they were being watched.

Casper High,

Before Danny could head to class, he took Lucifer to the Principal's office. Principal Ishiyama looks over the papers that were sent by his family, telling who Lucy was and why she was in town.

"Well, Miss. Devilman, I understand you wish to get away from your life back home. Trust me, there have been times I wish to get away too." She said.

"However, I don't understand why you have to be close to Mr. Fenton?" Mr. Lancer said.

Lucifer was told about what the Fentons did and she knew how to play off it. She didn't trick many humans just for show.

"Well, Daniel was the only person that could understand me. We meet over the summer and got to know each other. I mention about wanting to get away, and he invited me to stay with him. After getting permission from my parents, I was allowed to go, but they said I had to remain with him at all times. And anything that happens to me must be reported to his parents." Lucifer said, trying not to growl at Danny's full name.

"Lucy, I told you, call me Danny," Danny said, feeling some of Lucifer's anger by saying his full name.

"Even so, we still have to call your parents." Mr. Lancer said.

"Sorry, but we don't have phones where we live. I got a computer for my birthday and it was how we meet. It has been long shut down so no E-mails will work either." Lucifer said.

Danny blinks. It was like she knew what to say before the question was even asked. Then again, she's the Devil. She's known for tricking and lying to people. Mr. Lancer sighs as Principal Ishiyama handed her classes.

"We kept most of your class with Mr. Fenton. However, we had to have one or two take place differently." She said, making Danny worry.

With a few of her classes different, that meets that Lucifer has to be away from him. The reason she was staying close was because he has the last bit of her power, and without her, it will attack him.

Lucifer could sense Danny was worried and did have a feeling this would happen. Since she was still weak, she couldn't do anything to stop her powers from attacking him, but she is working on a backup plan.

"Thank you." She said, taking the paper.

"Welcome to Casper High, Ms. Devilman. I hope you enjoy your stay." Principal Ishiyama said, smiling.

A bit later,

Both Danny and Lucifer walked down the hall, heading for their first class together.

"Glad that worked out." He said, sighing in relief.

"I can tell the Principal was a big softy. She saw what she wanted to see and fell for what she was told easily. And that other teacher? HA! He's an idiot! And you say that he teaches your classes?" Lucifer said.

Danny sighs, knowing what she means. It wasn't that he hated them, but he did wonder if they knew how to do their jobs.

"Well, now you got to worry about the A-Listers," Danny said.

Lucifer rolled her eyes. She may have promised to keep herself on a low profile, but those A-Listers don't scare her.

"I can handle them. So don't worry about it." She said, waving him off.

Danny sighs. She sure was sounding cocky even with her weakened power.

"Whatever you say," Danny said as they reach their first class.

A few classes later, lunch,

"Well, that was a chore and a half," Danny said, sitting down at his table.

"Tell me about it," Tucker said, sitting next to him.

"I still say this is a bad idea," Sam said, sitting on the other side of the table.

"Sam," Danny sighs.

"Look, I'm just saying we need to find a different way to free you from her. How do you know she'll take back the last bit of her power once she finds the rest?" Sam asked.

Danny looks down. Sam had a point. Would Lucifer hold up her end of the deal once he has done his?

"I don't know what you all worried about."

Everyone turns and saw Lucifer sitting down with them surprising each of them.

"We have a deal, and I will hold up my end of it." She said before looking at her food.

"Still don't get how people eat this stuff." She said, watching the meat popping.

"Mystery Meat. No one could tell if it's meat or something that doesn't look like it could be eaten." Danny said, pushing his meat away.

"Tell me about it. I love meat, but even I have to question what they serve." Tucker added.

"And this is why you guys need to stop eating meat," Sam said, munching on her salad.

"No way, Sam. Just because I don't eat this kind of meat doesn't mean I'm giving up meat." Tucker said.

"Plants are good for you," Sam argued.

"No, it's not!" Tucker argued back.

Lucifer watched as the two started arguing about which was better, and she had nothing to do with it.

"They get like this."

She turns to see Danny sighing as if he has been hearing this for a long time.

"Tucker loves meat and Sam loves plants. Every time they get brought up, they start arguing which is better. Me? I try to stay out of it, but..." Danny said, trailing off.

Lucifer looks at the two before turning back to Danny.

"Well, at least I have nothing to do with this." She said, taking a bite of her sandwich.

Danny could only nod as he ate. They were cut off when Danny was suddenly pushed out of his chair before Dash took his spot.

"Hey, there! We got off on the wrong foot yesterday." He said, but Lucifer rolled her eyes.

He was trying for the past few classes to hit on her and make her leave Danny. She has yet to run into Paulina, but she wasn't bothered by it.

"Look here, Mr. Baxter. As I told you yesterday, you're not my type. I'm with Danny because I know him. He offers me to stay with him and his family, and I just moved into town over the weekend. I'm still getting used to the town and I don't plan on leaving Danny." She said.

Dash blinks before he growls.

"And why is that?! He's a loser! You don't need him!" He said, making Lucifer roll her eyes again.

"I know him because we're pen-pals." She said, remembering to use the cover story.

"What?" Dash asked, confused.

"We talk over the summer because you kept making him miss his classes. Well, guess what? He was able to do it without you stopping him." She said before getting up.

"And when I said you're not my type, I mean it! We didn't get off on the wrong foot. If you think for a second that just because you're in sports, I might like you for it, then you clearly have no idea how to treat a girl." Lucifer added before picking him off the seat.

She lightly push him off to the side as Danny stood up. Lucifer could tell Danny was fine and nodded. She then turns back to Dash, who was angry and knew he was going to try and take it out on Danny later.

"Oh, and Danny told me about how you take your anger out on him even if he had nothing to do with anything. You have no one to blame but yourself for that." She said, letting her eyes glow a bit.

Dash growls and walks away. Lucifer sighs as she returns to her seat.

"Wow," Tucker said, shocked.

"I guess it a wise thing not to cross the devil." He added.

"Tucker!" Danny shushes him.

Lucky, no one heard him. Danny sighs before glaring at him.

"What part of low profile did you not understand?" He asked.

Lucifer rolled her eyes. However, she had to worry about something else. Her first class of being away from Danny was coming up and she had to make sure her powers don't kill him.

"Danny, give me your hand."

The three turn to her confused.

"Just do it." She said, making Danny rise his hand.

"Due to my weakened power, this will only last for an hour. It will keep my power from attacking you should we split. But as I said, once I get more of my power back, then I can truly stay away from you for longer periods." She said, taking his hand.

She places her other hand on top of his before closing her eyes. She whispers in demonic language before a soft glow appears on Danny's hand. Danny hiss in pain as he felt something burn on it. The glow faded and Lucifer remove her hand. Danny pulled his hand back and notices that he had Lucifer's symbol on it.

"That will keep my power at bay for an hour." She said, eating again.

Danny blinks before looking at his hand. Tucker also looked over but didn't see anything.

"Um, what did she do?" Tucker asked.

"I gave him my mark. But because of my weakened power, I can only make it where he could see it." Lucifer spoke up.

Sam didn't like it, but Danny sighs. If this was to keep him safe then he might as well take it.

Dash growls when he saw the new girl holding Fenton's hand.

"That should be me holding her hand," Dash said to himself.

'Have you thought about my deal?"

Dash stop by his locker as he heard the same voice he heard over the weekend. He opens it a pull out a red orb with a flame inside.

"Why would I need power? I already have all the power I need!" He asked it.

"Because the boy holds far more power than you."

"What? Fenton? He's a wimp." Dash scoffs.

"Not when he holds the same powers as you. He is looking for the other orbs. If he finds those orbs then he will be the most powerful person on earth."

Dash stares at the orb in shock.

'Plus, you can win over the new girl's heart if find them before he does. But first, we need to remove the boy. I'll ask again. Do we have a deal?"

Dash looks at the orb before thinking about what the orb told him. If he could get power before Fenton does, then he will prove that no one is better than him. He would put Fenton in his place and have that new girl all to himself.

"Deal." Dash smirks, his eyes glowing red.

And done. And it looks like Dash will be Danny's first opponent. Well, this is going to be something. I bet some of you thought once Dash gets part of Lucifer's power, Danny is going to be glad to get payback for all that Dash did to him. If you wondering why Lucifer didn't sense her power, it's because of two reasons. One, Lucifer's power is still weak, she still has a hard pinpointing them. Even if she knew it was in the school, two, Dash's locker was on the other side of the school.

And I'm trying to keep Lucifer as the Devil she is. Not really caring about others, but at least making sure Danny remains alive so she could find her missing powers. She'll slowly start to change her way of thinking as she recovers her powers. Now, I did see a few reviews asking me about the power Danny will have when he becomes a Demon. There are a lot of demon powers and I don't know a lot of them. You are free to send me what kind of powers you think Danny should have. Just don't go overboard, AnimeGoji91.

Yes, I got you OC, but I'm going to make some huge changes to the demon. He'll appear in this story but not in the way you have him.

One last thing, I forget to mention this in the last chapter, but I want a new title for this story. Danny and Lucifer was the best I could come with on the spot, but I feel this story needs a better title.
