Amity and Eda were looking through Bonesborough for Manny when Amity had gotten the call from Vee that their plan to catch him had failed.``What do you mean you sent Hooty to grab him!" Amity said visibly frustrated.``Ok just leave it to me and Eda just go back to preparing the party ok." Amity said as she turned off her phone.``What's so bad about sending Hooty after Manny?" Eda said as the two flew over the town." You don't see the problem with sending a bug demon after a man who thinks he is in hell." Amity said. "That's a fair point." Eda said as they came in for a landing.``Let's hope we can find him before Hooty does." Amity said as they made their way through the market….
Meanwhile….
Manny had run away from the impostor posing as his wife. Now in a strange area of town he saw what appeared to be a bar. Walking in the bar it was full of all sorts of characters."Hey human what do you want to drink?" The bartender said as Manny went to sit down. "What do you got ?" Manny asked."Well I believe I have some of your human spirits, what's your poison?"The bartender asked. "Gold Rum."Manny said as the bartender looked through his liquor . "Alright I looked through my stash. I have a bacardi 10. Is that good?" The bartender asked. "Sure I'll have it on the rocks." Manny said as the bartender handed him a lowball glass of rum on the rocks. Sipping the beverage seemed to take his mind off the crazy world he was in as of this moment..
As Manny sipped casually on his rum. He was unaware of the bug demon eyeing him. It was then that the creature wrapped itself around him and dragged him away."Amity wants you to come back Hoot Hoot." The creature said as Manny was desperate to break free of its grasp. "Let me go." Manny said as he tried to break free of the creature's grasp."Not a chance buddy. Nothing will stop me from getting you to Amity." Hooty said when a house fly caught his attention."Hey look a bug." Hooty said as he released Manny to chase after the fly. "Get in my tummy bug." Hooty said as Manny bolted as far away from it as his legs would take him reaching the Bonesbourough museum where a certain orange haired individual was overseeing renovations.
"Can I hide in here please." Manny said as he looked at the woman. "Of course. The Bonesbourogh museum of history is open to all." Lilith said, unaware of who she was talking to. "Thank you." Manny said as he went inside walking past exhibits of all sorts of strange creatures and such before stumbling off a statue that looked somewhat familiar to him. Pausing in front of it to get a better look."It can't be." Manny said."I see you're looking at the statue of the hero of the Isles Luz Noceda." Lilith said. "Hero of what?" Manny said, visibly confused. "I would be more than happy to tell you the story of the human who saved this entire realm." lilith said. "Yes please, I'd like to learn more about this." Manny said as Lilith told him the tale of how Luz stumbled onto the demon realm. How she met the owl lady. Her mastery of glyph magic. Her friendship and later romance with Amity Blight. And how she saved the demon realm from a genocidal madman."And that covers it. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to answer them." Lilith said as Manny sat down at a nearby bench. "I can't believe that the book I gave her on my deathbed led to all of this." Manny said."Wait, what do you mean deathbed?" Lilith said before it dawned upon her….
Meanwhile….
Amity and Eda had been flying around the Town for Hours with no luck."Eda what am I gonna do now. We can't find him and the party is in a few hours. I failed and when Luz finds out she is gonna hate me." Amity said as she began to cry."Don't say that Amity. Luz is crazy for you. She won't hate you. Besides, we can still find him." Eda said, doing her best to cheer the young witch up. "Oh come on Eda not even you believe that. It would take a sheer miracle to save this day." Amity said crying as the two sat on a bench nearby the Museum. "Ahem." Eda said. "Not now I just want to be left alone." Amity said, unaware of who was approaching.
"Um bossy boots I think you want to see this." Eda said as Amity looked up to see Manny and Lilith walking towards them."Lilith where did you find him." AMity said as she went to hug her old mentor. "He stumbled his way into the museum after Hootsifer grabbed him and I told him about Luz and everything. Btw sister you should know that when reviving the dead you should revive them in an environment they are comfortable with." Lilith said which annoyed Eda."Yeah yeah Lilly besides it's not like I'm gonna do this again anytime soon." Eda said."That doesn't matter right now, what matters is that Luz's party is in an Hour and we need to get Manny ready." Amity said.
"So you are Luz's girlfriend." Manny said."Yes, me and Luz have been dating for years." Amity said blushing at the thought of her batata. "You brought me back from the dead. I don't know what to say." Manny said, hugging the young witch. "Well I'm sorry to say it's temporary. By day's end you'll go back to the afterlife." Amty said as Manny looked at her with a serious face. "That is fine, I just want whatever time I have left with my family." Manny said. "Ok well Let's get you ready. Just one question." Amity asked. "Sure what is it?' MAnny said" Whats the song you want to dance to with Luz?" Amity asked." Manny paused and thought about it for a good minute. "I know just what I want to dance to." Manny said as the Group went off to put together the final pieces for Luz's kingcenera.
