"Heather has explained to Andrew and Amanda how it was my paternal grandparents who sacrificed themselves to save Andrew's and Amanda's lives although they had no idea who they were saving, only that they were muggles. Heather explained to them about the Yellow Quartet with myself, you, Susan, and Hannah and explained how you are my very best friend, especially after you acted as a caretaker for me in the first few months after we met. Heather brought me here to meet them."

"That's a meeting that needed to happen," said Amy clearly, "After what Marshawn and Evanna did for my mom and dad, the Potters and the Alworths are now linked forever."

"Indisputably," agreed Amanda, "I told Harry that he should be very proud to be Marshawn's and Evanna's grandson and he said that he is."

"I told Harry that Marshawn and Evanna are heroes and he agreed," added Andrew.

"I'm going to be honest," said Harry calmly, "I'm actually really glad that my paternal grandparents sacrificed themselves to save Andrew and Amanda, not because of them being heroes, which they are, or me being proud of them, which I am, but because I literally cannot imagine my world without Amy."

"Heather explained to us while you were meeting with the kids here how you acted as Harry's caretaker for those first few months after you met him," Amanda told Amy with a smile, "That's a true friend right there, helping your friend with his scar removal cream."

"She also told us how you want to be a Healer and explained to us that Healers are magical doctors," piped up Andrew proudly, "It's very obvious both upon meeting you and hearing Heather talk about what you have done and what you aspire to be that you are kind and caring."

"I've been talking with Andrew and Amanda about future opportunities for you to meet them and develop a relationship with them," explained Heather, "I know you said that while you have most forgiven them, the one thing that would be a bridge too far would be living them and that you could never live them as parents and daughter."

"Yes," nodded Amy matter of factly, "While I have mostly forgiven them, and while my current feelings towards them after meeting and talking to them are cordial and friendly, I do still have some underlying hurt from my abandonment. It's also worth noting that I simply can't give up the family I currently have with Harry, Susan, Hannah, Sirius, Remus, Amelia, and you."

"Is that truly the only limit of your forgiveness?" Heather asked Amy to confirm.

"Yes," replied Amy, "But, if we are talking about me developing a relationship with them, while I know their remorse is sincere as is their pride in me, and while I would like to develop a relationship with them, I think it's going to be awhile before I feel comfortable being in their presence with it being just me and them. In the early stages, I wish to always have at least one other person present when I meet them."

"That is completely understandable," nodded Amanda, "Heather has suggested that we meet up here once a month. "

"That's the perfect frequency," said Amy clearly, "I both need and want to take it slowly at the start. It will be a watershed moment when I finally feel comfortable enough to be in mom's and dad's presence without other people being present, but we will have to work towards that moment and it's awhile away at this point."

"I think," said Heather softly, "That the frequency needs to be infrequent enough in the early stages for that remaining underlying hurt not to grow and rebuild too much but frequent enough to actually allow a relationship to build. Once that relationship is built up a bit and you become more comfortable with them, then we can increase the frequency."

"Exactly," agreed Amy, "Once I feel comfortable enough with mom and dad to be in their presence without other people being present, that's the watershed moment and that's point at which the frequency of meeting can be increased."

"How about Amy return here on Saturday, January 16tth, 1993?" suggested Heather.

"Sounds good," chorused Andrew, Amanda, and Amy.

"At the next meeting," Amy told Andrew and Amanda, "I'm going to get into telling you two about the basics of myself as far as my likes, dislikes, and favorites, things like that."

"That's a good idea," recognized Andrew, "Today's meeting was obviously very serious and it would be good for us to have a lighter meeting."

"Being able to learn about your likes, dislikes, and favorites gives us something to look forward to," beamed Amanda.

"I'll tell you one of my dislikes now because I want to give you two some advice," said Amy firmly, "One of my greatest dislikes is tobacco. I strongly urge mom and dad to never smoke or use tobacco products of any kind. Remember: Tobacco: Tumor causing, teeth staining, smelly, puking habit."

"It's good that you understand that at such a young age," smiled Andrew, "The best way to not be a smoker is never try it in the first place."

"Exactly," agreed Amanda, "That's the one thing I don't like about The Hobbit is Bilbo's fondness for tobacco."

"This next piece of advice," said Amy seriously, "Is to avoid wearing high heels. High heels are terrible for your feet, knees, back, and really your body as a whole. They also are a tripping hazard as it's hard to keep your balance in them."

"I was wearing high heels when I first met Heather and she about flipped out when she saw my high heels," admitted Amanda.

"Hannah is often begging Heather to allow her to wear high heels and Heather always holds her ground because of how terrible high heels are for the feet."

"I hadn't even thought about the tripping hazard part," mused Heather, "High heels are hot garbage, plain and simple."

"That's all I have for mom and dad for now," said Amy calmly, "But I have some advice for Harry."

"Fire away, Amy," piped up Harry.

"If you are on the fence about whether you are willing to forgive Dudley and Petunia, let me say this: After forgiving my parents here today, I have felt a huge burden lift from me. For me, forgiving was freeing, was release. I understand that you had it far worse than I did due to being regularly abused and not just abandoned. But you should give serious weight to the fact that both Dudley and Petunia were under the influence of Hate Potions keyed to you when they treated you like shit."

"I will forgive them," promised Harry, "I've already made up my mind on that."

"Amy," said Heather kindly, "There is more time for you to stay here today. You may go play with the kids here for a while and I'll come get you when it's time to go home."

And Amy walked back down the hallway to the Children's Common Playroom and readied to play with the kids she had grown up with, which she proceed to do and enjoy until it was time to go home.

Next chapter will finally get to Harry's meeting with Dudley and Petunia!
