"How long have we been in here?" Olivia asked.
"I think we are going on two hours," he said while glancing at his watch.
They both sat on the floor of the elevator with their backs against the wall.
"I'm just hungry," he said wistfully.
"Seriously?" She shook her head in comic disbelief. "What are you? 12? We are stuck in an elevator and all you can think about is how hungry you are?"
"Well, we were on our way to lunch…" he said as if it were obvious. His grin grew wider, "I mean, I can suggest something else to fill the time…" he grinned mischievously.
She rolled her eyes in false exasperation. She tried to hide her own smile. Honestly she didn't mind the flirting. She actually loved it when they weren't at work. She leaned her head back against the elevator wall. "What would you do if I actually said yes to one of your absurd suggestions?"
He laughed, and mimicked her position, leaning his head back into the wall. "I'd probably die and then watch for the four horsemen of the apocalypse, because I'm sure it would be the end of times." He laughed, "apart of the fun is teasing you, knowing you'll shoot me down. Much less painful than when you shoot me down when I'm serious."
She was quiet for a moment, glancing over at him, his head leaned back with his eyes closed. A smile crept across her face as she discreetly checked the elevator for cameras. None. She tried to ignore the fact that it was a major security issue not to have them there and be grateful to be able to do this unobserved.
She slid a little closer to him. She grinned as she ran a glancing kiss across his neck. She almost giggled when his eyes opened wildly in surprise.
He turned his face towards her, nearly gaping in surprise. "Liv?" He questioned, and she knew he was very confused at this turn of events.
She leaned in close, her lips nearly touching his. "We're alone, stuck for god knows how long, and I think we're both aware of how much we want this." She brushed her lips against his, "why not see where this goes."
She felt his hand reach for her hip. "You better not be joking," his voice was low and serious.
"I'm one hundred percent serious," she whispered before she leaned in, kissing him with purpose.
His arms instinctively wrapped around her, pulling her into his lap. She kissed him deeply and moved her legs to better straddle him. His hands swiftly untucked her shirt and his large hands slid beneath her shirt, leaving a trail of warmth as they traveled from her hips to her waist and up her back.
She released his lips so hers could roam around his neck and jaw. He groaned when she found a sensitive spot on his neck and she grinned as she gave that spot some extra attention.
Elliot left one hand up the back of her shirt and used his other hand to push the shoulder of her shirt and her bra strap out of the way, allowing his lips access to her shoulder and chest.
She threw her head back, gasping for air, and his mouth explored her throat, and she felt his tongue move across the entire length of her neck.
Her breathing was getting ragged and the way his body was pressed against hers, she was sure they needed to stop soon because she wasn't having their first time together be on an elevator floor.
She pulled back a little, slowing things down, while letting him continue a more gentle exploration over her clothing. She laid her head on his shoulder and leaned her body fully into his. Elliot's arms wrapped around her and she felt warm and safe.
He still breathed heavily, but both began to will their bodies to calm the hell down.
Finally she spoke, "That was, um," amazing? Unfinished?
His voice came out as a low rumbling whisper, "incredible." He finished for her. He pulled away from her enough to get one of his bear paw hands onto her cheek, "You are incredible."
She felt his lips in her hair, while his arms maintained a gentle hold on her. Her knees hurt so she resituated herself into a more comfortable position on his lap. She leaned her head against his chest, tucked under his chin. "El?" She whispered.
"Yeah?" He rumbled.
"I think you're pretty incredible too."
She felt another kiss on the crown of her head. "If we ever get out of here," he started…
Suddenly the elevator rumbled a little and the lights flickered. It finally continued the descent it began more than two hours earlier.
She helped her up from the floor and they were in a standing position when the elevator chimed at the main floor of the building.
Elliot let her exit first and immediately followed. They walked shoulder to shoulder, holding back smirking smiles as they pretended that all of this had been a normal elevator ride.
