Jaune's room was soundproofed. Qrow had said that as office space it would have been difficult to properly use it if the constant grunts and clanging of metal outside could get in. That wasn't the real reason- it was a bachelor pad first and foremost. If Qrow managed to talk some pretty young thing into his love nest he wanted to be the only one to enjoy their screams; it was a feature his tenant was taking full advantage of.
"Oh God, Jaune, fuck!"
The sound of flesh slapping against flesh and the woman's wanton moans filled the air, which stank of sex and sweat.
The Arc leaned forward and bit down hard on the girl's neck, marking her as he pinned her body under his and thrusting furiously.
"It hurts, it hurts, it hurts so good!" She cried, rocking her hips against his. "Please, more! More!"
Jaune obliged.
His motions became a blur as he slammed himself into her smaller frame, watching her B-cups bounce delightfully as her shoulder length hair swayed with every shudder.
"Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod!"
For the fifth time in a row she came, and as the wave of bliss overtook her features Jaune buried himself down to the hilt before letting loose with a savage grunt.
Rope after rope of cum filled her to the brim, prolonging her own climax. Her body reacted, drawing as much of his seed out as it could, spasming in ecstasy to milk him dry. As soon as she had come into his room he knew this was what she wanted, what all sluts wanted. Why else would she offer herself up on a silver platter?
As the two came down from their shared orgasm, he stared at her- her body was still trembling and her eyes were unfocused; her chest rose and fell in deep, long breaths and her face was flushed and covered in sweat. He and Cinder could keep at it for hours, but Cinder had her own reserve of aura to augment her stamina. His new lover was fit, but the sweet punishment he dealt out was way more than she was used to. He'd have to let her rest.
With a sigh, he relaxed, cock still hard as steel and buried in her cunt. He settled himself on top of her, pressing most of his weight down on his arms as he let the rest bring their bodies together- hers soft and smooth, his hard and rugged. He brought their faces less than an inch apart, her breath tickling his lips.
Jaune rested his forehead against hers and stared into a pair of warm, brown eyes.
The coed's eyes focused under his gaze and her lips turned upward in a mischievous smile.
"I'm on the pill, by the way." Amber teased, looking down at her creampied cunt. "Thanks for asking."
Jaune scowled almost imperceptibly and then drew her attention away with a kiss before she could notice. Her lips parted as she moaned into his mouth.
'Why is that a problem?' He asked himself.
'The pill is what, 99% effective? Maybe 90% if she's bad at it.' His shadow mused. 'I'll take those odds.'
Jaune rolled his eyes internally. This was consensual, protected sex with a partner who didn't want anything else. Just what the doctor ordered. 'Quit bitching and enjoy this.' He told himself, settling in at his coworker's side.
It had started less than an hour ago. He had dropped the 'sickness' cover story and Amber had dropped in on one of her nights off to check on him. Amber wasn't Ruby, was only one reason she would drop by his room, alone and unannounced. She remembered their last little encounter, the way Jaune skipped straight to 2nd base, and she wanted the home run. The look in her eyes had given her away, and in less than a minute her clothes had hit the ground and she was putty in his hands.
Now, with her head resting on his arm, and the wind knocked out of her, Amber Bailey was treated to one of Jaune's deepest, darkest secrets.
He was a cuddler.
"Slow down." She whined, as his skilled hands roamed her torso, leaving goosebumps on the sensitive flesh as he gently caressed her body. "I need ah-a minute."
Jaune left a gentle trail of kisses up her neck that sent shivers down her spine, as his free arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer to him.
Amber let out a delighted sigh as he flicked his tongue over the hickey he had left on her neck. Wasn't the man supposed to be the one spent after climax, while the woman cuddled up to him? Apparently her stud hadn't gotten the memo.
Jaune grinned as his partner became more and more vocal in her enjoyment. The female body was a beautiful thing- even if he had to give her a breather, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the feel of Amber's feminine physique splayed against his own, or couldn't drive her wild with gentle touches as easily as with a merciless fucking.
"We can -ah- only go one more round." She whined.
"Why's that?"Jaune breathed, hands dipping lower.
Amber trembled. "My roommate is expecting me back soon." She said. "I-I have to be able to walk."
"Just tell her you're spending the night with a man." He said, nibbling on her earlobe.
"Nuh-uh." She said weakly. "If I do that she'll want details, and if she finds out I'm banging a guy that's still in highschool I'll never hear the end of it."
Jaune smirked. "One look at me ought to shut her up." he said, pressing her against his muscled chest.
Amber flushed. "Yeah…" she whispered, eyeing him up. "...but then I'd have to share ."
The Arc smirked. "I'm hearing nothing but positives." He said.
Amber hit him weakly. "Perv." She murmured. "That eager to trade me in for a newer model?" She asked.
"All I'm saying is it looks like you need back up." Jaune teased. "After all, I'm doing all the work, and you still can't keep up with me."
Her eyes narrowed.
"The hell I can't."
She pushed herself up and shifted so that she was straddling his hips, fighting back moans as his erection ground against her with every move. When she was finished the two were in the cowgirl position, with Jaune laying back without a care in the world as she steadied herself. He leaned back on a pillow with a cocky grin.
Slap!
Amber let out another moan as Jaune left a large red handprint on her round, brown rear.
"Show me what you've got, slut."
Amber bristled, but obeyed, pushing herself off his rigid shaft only to slam herself back down when she was halfway out. She'd never ridden anyone nearly as long as he was… she couldn't get any higher than that under her own power. As her soaked pussy slammed back into his balls Amber was reminded just how thick her new lover was as well.
"So big." She moaned, picking herself back up. "So deep."
Jaune Arc didn't just have the biggest dick she had ever seen- he had the confidence to go with it. Lying back with a shit eating grin on his face, he watched her come undone on his cock without a care in the world- he wasn't even moving and she could barely take him.
"Is that all?" He asked lazily.
Amber picked up the pace. "Shut up!" She cried. "I'm gonna- fuck- make you cum- oh god, baby- make you screa- aaah!"
Jaune put both hands behind his head as he watched her, felt her walls clutching against him. "Whatever you say, babe."
Sure, he could pin her down and ravage her until she couldn't think anymore, but that was predictable. This way was so much more fun; let her try and take the lead, only to exhaust herself, and remind her just why he was the one on top. He would lie back until she drove herself to climax, and then bring her back to heights of ecstasy before finishing himself again. She didn't make him cum, she was the lucky hole he shot it into, and when he was done with her the pretty little slut would never forget it. Then they'd have another talk about her roommate, and any friends of hers that might be worth the trouble of breaking in. He was insatiable, after all, and asking Amber and Cinder to handle him all by themselves was cruel- he needed more women in his life.
Amber was so distracted riding his cock that she didn't notice the way the door creaked open, only to slam closed again a second later.
Jaune did.
His eyes flickered over to the entrance to his room. He hadn't bothered to lock his door after Amber had wandered in, and someone had seen the two of them screwing like rabbits.
It took him another second to realize that the door hadn't shut all the way, and in the crack he recognized a familiar pair of ice blue eyes peering in, unable to look away from the show.
'Perfect.' He thought.
Then he grabbed Amber's ass and stopped her feeble attempt at riding him, over her piteous protests. Then, slowly, he slid her off his cock, inch by inch, showing off every bit of his massive man meat, still covered in her slick juices. Finally her lips were hovering a millimeter above his head. Amber struggled weakly to go back down but he held her in place effortlessly.
"Jaune, please." She groaned.
The blond smirked. "Aren't you supposed to make me cum?" He asked.
"I-I'm so close." She whined. "Let me go. Let me cum."
He chuckled, grinding the tip against her clit. Amber closed her eyes in bliss, so she didn't notice Jaune wasn't looking at her anymore.
"Naughty girl." he teased. " Lusting after a younger man." he pushed his tip back into Amber's damp folds. "You want it bad, don't you?"
Amber broke.
"Yes, please!" She screamed. "I need it!"
Jaune slammed her back down in a brutal thrust and smiled as she came, eyes rolling into the back of her head as she cried out in joy. She collapsed, heaving onto his chest, and his eyes darted to the voyeur. Ocean and ice blue met- the latter widened as they saw his grin.
For a long moment, they stared into each others' souls. Then she let out a timid whimper and slammed the door shut, rushing off into the night.
Amber had just come down from her high and started at the noise.
"What was that?" She said anxiously, futilely covering her breasts with her arm. Jaune wrapped his arms around her before he started to thrust into her again.
"Don't worry about it." He whispered. He meant it. It was rude to think about future conquests when a perfectly good bitch was already on his dick. For the rest of the night Amber would get his full attention.
Weiss was having a bad day.
Firstly, her mother, who was supposed to have given up alcohol, had come home with a massive flush and rushed to her room, refusing to speak to anyone. For another thing Winter had been assigned to some operation on the outskirts of the Kingdom and wouldn't be back for several weeks. Klein had been forced to take a sick day and one of Father's yes men had taken his place for the day- he had none of her butler's competence or charm and could neither make her smile nor prepare her morning tea properly. Speaking of Father, he was in an especially foul mood because the Reds had just captured the Legune Pass, effectively shutting down all shipments from the Schnee's remaining properties in Solitas, and the Blues had seemingly no plans to retake it in the near future. Whitley was insufferably smug as he commiserated with Father on the damage done by incompetents and ingrates, subtly directing the conversation towards her whenever possible.
And now this. This damnable game of trivia.
"What is the wavelength range of visible light on the electromagnetic spectrum?" Miss Goodwitch asked, as the appropriate question appeared on the board.
Weiss slammed her finger down as soon as the teacher finished, but Team 2 hit the button first.
"Mr. Arc." Miss Goodwitch said.
"Roughly 380nm-750nm." The boy answered confidently. "Though under the right conditions the range of light Humans can perceive can extend from 310-1100nm, and most varieties of Faunus are able to see in the near infrared, so what light is 'visible' depends on the person."
Miss Goodwitch's lips twinged upwards as the correct answer flashed on screen. "200 points to Team 2." She said. "And 50 bonus points for going above and beyond the original prompt."
Weiss grimaced. That put Team 2 at a nearly insurmountable lead- and the game had only just started!
4 of the 500 point questions had already been snapped up, and Jaune had snapped up 3 of them. He had hesitated on the 4th and Weiss had capitalized, but after that he had taken to just pressing his clicker as soon as the question was available.
Weiss was a competitive person; she had to be if she was going to head the largest corporation in Remnant some day. She took pride in her academic skills and was at or near the top of the class in every subject. She could stomach the occasional loss to Lie Ren, who was studious and respectable, or to Pyrrha, who was seemingly gifted and dedicated in everything she did. She could accept that Blake and even Yang would sometimes outperform her in literary analysis (with her father as the teacher and her best friend as the resident bookworm, the blonde bombshell had apparently picked some things up). She could even tolerate being shown up by Ruby every now and again- the girl may act like a dolt but she was an absolute whiz kid when the topic lined up with her interests.
But losing to Jaune Arc ? That was categorically unacceptable.
Something was different about the goofball today. There was a sharpness, an attentiveness in his eyes that she wasn't used to. She hadn't registered him as much of a threat- he didn't come off as a complete imbecile but his interactions with teaching staff always gave the impression that he was treading water at best, and his mind seemed to be somewhere else whenever they were in class. Not anymore, apparently.
"Relax Weiss-cream." Yang said, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "You look like you're trying to shoot lasers out of your eyes."
The heiress shook her off. "You're very touchy , you know that?" She complained sourly.
The blonde scowled and scooted away from her.
Weiss didn't know what she had done to offend the girl and at the moment she didn't much care. She'd make it up to her friend when she was less irritable (Weiss did not get 'bitchy').
"Next category?" Miss Goodwitch asked.
Jaune and Ruby looked at one another for a brief moment, then looked at the screen, then nodded. "Calculus for 300." Ruby said confidently.
The screen changed, and Weiss watched the timer tick down the seconds before she could answer the next question.
"What is 'the Chain Rule'?"
'The derivative of a composite function is equivalent to the derivative of the outer function multiplied by the inner function, multiplied by the derivative of the inner function, or d/dx of f(g(x)) = f'((g(x))(g'(x).' Weiss thought to herself.
Jaune hit the button a half second faster and gave the same response word for word.
Weiss winced as 300 more points were added to Team 2's score. It wasn't fair! She knew everything that he did. He just reacted faster!
"Where did this come from?!" Weiss shouted involuntarily. "Weren't you flunking this class two weeks ago?!"
Miss Goodwitch looked like she was about to chastise Weiss for her outburst, but Jaune beat her to the punch."
"When I was out sick, I didn't have anything else to do, so I studied." He said, shrugging. "Guess it paid off."
"So it would seem." Miss Goodwitch said, holding back a smile. " Do try and make a habit of it, Mr. Arc." Her gaze softened before she turned back to Weiss with a more thoughtful expression. "Although, since this is meant to test general knowledge and not reaction time, maybe you should sit the next few rounds out."
Jaune looked at Ruby for a second. The younger girl smiled and mouthed 'I've got this.' The class had been divided into 10 teams of 3, but Dove seemed perfectly happy to check out as his teammates did the heavy lifting.
Jaune nodded and set his clicker down.
From there it was brutal. Ruby wasn't just smart, she was fast- though not so smart or so fast that Weiss didn't have a chance to sneak in. Despite Glynda's explicit wishes, the game did turn into a battle of speed; the girls would click before they had even finished reading the question to deny the other the chance. Pyrrha and Yang would pick up a few questions for Team 1, but Weiss was the one who was obsessed with turning the tables- the rest of the class very quickly got out of her way. Even with 3 on 1, the massive lead Jaune had won and Ruby's own considerable skill kept the game neck and neck until they finally exhausted all the categories.
Miss Goodwitch looked over the two girls with an amused expression. " It appears we have a tie."
Weiss's eyes narrowed.
The teacher continued on, looking at the clock. "We have just enough time for a tiebreaker. What really matters is Friday's exam, but if you want a definite winner I can whip something up."
Weiss looked Ruby in the eye. "Don't you dare back out now."
The young silver chuckled nervously before nodding. "Okay. Tiebreaker it is."
Miss Goodwitch spent 30 seconds scribbling something down, before looking up again. " An incorrect answer will automatically disqualify either of you. Think carefully before you raise your hand." She adjusted her glasses, before walking up to the board and writing the equation down.
"What is the integral of (x^2)sin^3(x)?"
Weiss's mind raced as she tried to work through the problem. Ruby was scribbling furiously, crossing out a line only to redo it below, lips pursed.
Right when Weiss was about to finish, the younger girl's hand shot up.
"Miss Rose." Miss Goodwitch asked.
"(-81 (-2 + x^2) Cos[x] + (-2 + 9 x^2) Cos[3 x] - 6 x (-27 Sin[x] + Sin[3 x]))/108."
Weiss blinked. Then she looked at her own paper. Then she let out a weak groan and buried her face in her hands.
"Correct." Miss Goodwitch said, as the bell rang and the class rose to its feet.
While Weiss was still sulking Ruby leapt into her teammates arms with a victorious laugh.
The blond seemed shocked for a moment, but a second later he lifted her off the ground, spun her around and then gently set her back down, laughing all the while. This exchange made the girl even more insufferably happy and the pair left the room in an exaggerated strut.
"Well, you win some, you lose some." Pyrrha said goodnaturedly. "It is nice to see those two in good spirits again, isn't it?"
Yang looked like she had just seen a ghost. She stared at her sister and her friend in dumb confusion as they walked out of the room.
"Did… did he just...?" She whispered, eyes wide.
Pyrrha grabbed her shoulder, concerned. "Did he just what?"
Yang exhaled softly and shook her head. "Nothing."
"You should have seen Weiss's face!" Ruby said happily.
Nora looked on, eyes twinkling, while Ren's lips twinged upwards for the briefest of moments.
"Did she do that flustered little stutter she usually breaks into when someone catches her off guard?" Nora asked excitedly.
Ruby nodded. "I rushed through it, so I was sure I had to have messed up somewhere, but then Goodwitch was all 'Yes' and Weiss was all 'Nooooooooo'" she mimed collapsing into the table. "It was awesome!"
"Congratulations to the both of you." Ren said.
Ruby preened. Then she looked at her friend, who was shoveling food into his face with astonishing speed. She gently elbowed him in the ribs. Jaune started for a second, then swallowed quickly.
"Wazzup?" He asked awkwardly.
Nora grinned wickedly. "Ruby was just telling us that you still wear Pumpkin Pete pajamas to bed."
He dropped his spoon with a betrayed expression.
"Ruby, what the hell?!" He cried. " Why would you tell her that?!"
The silver looked at him, dumbstruck. Nora burst out laughing.
Ren shook his head while his companion cackled by his side. "That wasn't what we were talking about."
Nora laughed even louder, until she was bent over, gasping for air, tears pooling in her eyes.
"Then… how did she...?" he asked.
"Lucky guess." She wheezed, wiping water out of her eyes. " Gods, dude, I can't believe you actually-"
"-Shut up, they're comfy." He said testily.
Nora put a hand on the table to steady herself as she giggled.
Jaune glared at her ineffectually for a moment before turning back to Ruby. "What were we actually talking about?" He asked.
Ruby rolled her eyes, before doing an exaggerated impression of Weiss. "I was regaling our companions with our most recent accomplishment, you dolt."
Jaune smirked. " I know you are but what am I?"
Ruby pouted as the Arc went back to his meal.
"Man, I wish I could eat like that." Nora whined, watching the black hole that was Jaune Arc as he devoured a full course meal in a matter of minutes.
It wasn't unusual for the blond to eat more than the rest of his table combined, but depending on his mood he could spend most of lunch listlessly picking at his plate. When his spirits were high, though, it was frankly a little terrifying how quickly he could pack it in- with a limited window to socialize and feed, he consumed calories with ruthless efficiency.
He met the redhead's whine with a teasing smirk. "Nora, think of your figure."
The ginger girl scowled slightly, before loading her spork, pulling it back and launching a blast of food right at him.
Jaune moved as quick as a flash and caught the attack with his mouth, swallowing in a single motion. "Got any more?" He asked.
Nora stared at him in astonishment. Then she started to snicker. "You pig." She laughed, before turning back to her own meal. "You guys aren't the only ones with cool stories." She said proudly, mouth half full. "I wrote the best paper ever for Port's class."
"What did he say about it?" Ruby asked curiously.
"He gave her a C." Ren deadpanned.
"It was an A for effort." Nora said, pouting.
"And an F for content." Ren said flatly. "So it evened out."
Nora rolled her eyes. "That's bullshit."
Ren pinched his temples. "Nora." He said slowly. "The Vytal Peace Accords were not the millennia long conspiracy of an immortal body swapping parasite."
"That's what they want you to think!" She shouted, slamming her fists on the table.
"It also had nothing to do with civics." Ren said evenly.
Nora pouted. "I got all the boring stuff right." She said. "Why can't I have a little fun?"
Ren sighed. The paper was supposed to be a brief summary of the Vytal Accords, their function and the most important provisions, and it was supposed to be no more than 2 pages. It was not meant to be a 10 page expose on a shadow government that ran the Kingdoms from behind the scenes… even if Nora's final page did eventually answer the prompt.
"The only reason Port didn't fail you is because he likes you."
Nora preened. "Can you blame him?" She asked.
Ren let out a long suffering sigh, but he was fighting back a smile all the same.
No, Ren couldn't blame him, and Jaune couldn't either. Aside from being stacked and gorgeous, Nora was irresistibly likeable, with a chaotic yet good natured energy that never seemed to fade. Most people were bored out of their minds by Port's grandiose stories and meandering lectures, but she was one of the only students who came in with genuine excitement and creative energy, which was infectious if ...misdirected, from time to time.
Right now her attention was focused on the silver eyed girl across the table and her flawless victory over the Ice Princess.
Ruby was delightful in her own way. She was a bit more reserved around strangers, but once she got going her joy was no less potent. Even now, the simple act of triumph over her rival had left her with a smile so radiant that it was blinding.
"One day she'll acknowledge my genius." She said proudly. "And then she'll say. 'That Ruby girl is cool… and I really want to be her friend.'"
Even when gloating there was an undeniable sweetness about her- she was so determined to best Weiss because she liked her, admired her, and wanted to be liked and admired back. She was someone who always saw the good in every person, every situation, and worked to bring it out. That gave her a certain fragility, but at the same time an even more profound strength. Jaune felt a stab of possessiveness, protectiveness and lust all at once as he considered just how much his little rose had blossomed, just how many men would take advantage of her beauty, her trust, if given the chance.
Jaune's eyes were opened wider now than ever before. He looked down at his plate, and then around the room. His appetites were stronger than anyone else's, but it was only a matter of degree. Everyone still ate, and every man in the room wanted a shot at Ruby and Nora.
Now that he wasn't so caught up in himself he felt the jealous stares that came from across the cafeteria, the furtive gazes of other boys who would kill to sit where he and Ren were sitting, who would pounce the moment the two of them were gone. Some of them would move on to other prospects, while others would whisper and glare and stew in their envy, dreaming of a day when they could knock their rivals flat and seize their prizes for themselves. 'Well, keep dreaming, douchebags, because these fine little bitches are mi-'
'-My friends.' He corrected himself.
Just because he was more in touch with his shadow didn't mean he would give it free reign. His girls- 'his friends' - were head turning beauties, and he was a virile young man, of course he was going to look, but Ruby and Nora were both firmly in the 'don't touch' category. There were 400 girls at Beacon, and countless millions in the world, but there were precious few who made him smile like they did, and he wouldn't throw that away for some cheap thrills.
In some ways, the temptation was easier to resist. He had found a release valve, an outlet. Amber yesterday, Cinder the day before... tomorrow? He thought of the voyeur from this morning, a fine addition to his collection.
'Gods, are you listening to yourself?' Some part of him said dimly.
The Arc bit back a sigh. There was no helping it- he was a sexual creature through and through. So were his lovers, though. He hadn't asked Amber to crawl into his room unannounced. He hadn't asked Cinder to offer a standing invitation to her bedroom. They wanted him, and he wanted them.
He wanted more, he doubted that would ever stop, but there had to be some middle ground between total self denial and ravishing every woman he laid eyes on.
In other ways, resisting his urges was harder. Now that sex was no longer the stuff of dreams, now that he could appreciate all the minute details of conquest, he wanted the women in his life more than ever. Ruby, Nora and Weiss were more petite than his current lovers, what kind of difference would that make? Glynda, Yang and Pyrrha were taller and alongside Nora they were more voluptuous as well. Velvet and Ruby were sweeter, Coco and Yang were bolder, Glynda and Blake were more reserved. What would their lips taste like? Which of them would be the quickest to break? Whose cries of ecstasy would ring the loudest? The curiosity, the desire, the passion, all burned in every sinew of his flesh.
But he let them. He let them rise and rage in the background while he went about his day. He wasn't the only one with a wandering eye, and none of his targets was lacking male attention. Lesser men lusted after them and went about their business, leading happy, productive lives. Why shouldn't he?
Sure, every second he was in Glynda's class, part of his mind was thinking about how much fun it would be to grab her by the hips, slam her into the whiteboard and claim her in front of the entire class, but instead of the rest of him shouting about how awful and dangerous and demeaning that would be, he merely acknowledged the desire and put it aside. Yes, it would be an absolute joy to take Glynda, but he couldn't do that right now. There was a time and a place for everything, and now was the time for math.
It was astonishing how much more he picked up on now that his mind was free from shackling itself. He was more attentive in class, his grades had shot up, he was more lively around his friends. It felt like he had been covering his eyes for years, only to step into the broad light of day.
He let his gaze wander around the cafeteria. A sex crazed teenager could hardly ask for a better view. Beacon took the health of its students as seriously as their studies, and all around him the flower of youth was in full bloom. His eyes flitted from the girls that were merely attractive to the beautiful to the stunning.
Inevitably his eyes wandered to the fabled 'Babe Table'. Weiss still seemed to be sore about something, but Yang made some remark that cheered her up. Seeing her smile, Jaune remembered why he had been drawn to her in the first place- it was a simpler time, back when his biggest concern in life had been getting Weiss Schnee to like him. There was an effortless elegance to the way she carried herself, a hard won pride, with a touch of fragility as well, that pushed away most who would approach her yet signaled how badly she wanted someone to get past her shield. Joy made everyone prettier, and in her rare moments of undisguised happiness Weiss was every bit the snow angel he had called her.
Then there was Pyrrha, with the body of a goddess and the friendliness of the girl next door. He spent most of his time working and she spent most of hers training, so they didn't have the same history as many of his classmates, but whenever they were together she was unfailingly pleasant, and both Ruby and Nora had nothing but good things to say about her. It was no mystery why so many wanted her- what confused him was why no one had taken a shot.
Blake was less approachable but no less gorgeous. She had none of Kali's easy going friendliness… but that ass . The younger Belladonna was a classical beauty with an air of mystery and an undeniable exotic appeal; even without the killer body, some guys were just into cat girls.
But where she was dark and brooding the blonde by her side was as bright as the sun, with long, flowing gold locks to match. She had the most prominent hourglass figure of the lot, and if Blake had the perfect bubble butt the luscious heart shaped ass by her side was nothing to sneeze at either. His eyes drifted up. 'God, firecracker grew a great rack-'
' Stop calling me firecracker! ' She had whined. He blinked. Suddenly the Yang he was staring at wasn't 17 but 7. As tough as she claimed to be, it was so easy to get under her skin. A rush of memories flooded his brain.
' Catch me if you can, Vomit Boy! '
' It's just a scratch, I'm fine. '
' ...you haven't lost your real family . You've got me. '
Jaune felt a flash of pain in his chest.
'Really threw that in her face, didn't I?'
He had tried his damndest to push Yang away, terrified of what he might do to her, and now he was just like all the other chumps at school, staring at her from afar. Even if he was getting better, he doubted he could turn back the clock on the last few years, or that he should.
Without being able to hear her, after all these years he still recognized the set up to her inevitably awful punchline. He could hear the rest of the table groan as the blonde bombshell broke into an obnoxious grin.
He'd lost one of his best friends… but she was happy. That was what mattered.
And that was why Yang and her friends were off limits, however much his shadow screamed in protest. That was why Nora was off limits. That was why Ruby was off limits. Because he knew he was dangerous, even if he was trying to channel his urges as safely as possible. Because it would be all too easy to hurt them.
Because of all their wonderful curves, his favorite by far was their smiles.
'You sap.' His shadow mocked.
Nora snapped her fingers in front of his face. She had caught the look on his face, even if his years of experience at covert peeking had made it hard for her to follow his line of sight.
"Looks like I'm not the one thinking about figures." She teased. "Whatcha looking at?"
Jaune's eyes glimmered in irritation, before darkening with desire.
"Why would I look anywhere else when you're right in front of me?"
The intensity of his gaze slamming into hers made Nora's heart stop, and sent an involuntary flush up her neck. Then she saw the upward twinge of his lips, the playful glint in his eye, and she smirked right back, crossing her arms under her chest.
"Flattery will get you nowhere." She teased. "Now spill."
Jaune arched an eyebrow. "'Get me nowhere'?" He asked. "I'll have you know I can sweep any woman off their feet."
Nora grinned wider, eyes darting over meaningfully to Ruby. "Prove it, big guy."
Ruby and Ren were both increasingly uncomfortable with this line of discussion. "Um, guys…" Ruby said nervously. "I'm not sure if this is a-"
"-Have I ever told you how beautiful you are?"
The words weren't what left Ruby flabbergasted. It was their tone, the look on Jaune's face, which suggested nothing but complete sincerity.
"W-What?" Ruby squeaked.
"You look like something out of a fairy tale." He continued, voice low, brushing his hand against hers. "Skin as soft and white as the purest snow. Hair as dark and vibrant as the evening sky. Eyes that shine brighter than any star."
Ruby short circuited. Everything else seemed to fade away except for the boy sitting next to her, the rapid hammering of her heart, and the sweet words coming off his tongue.
His eyes were now firmly on the curve of her mouth. "Lips as lush and red as the petals of a rose. A spirit as warm and gentle as a summer breeze. My precious gem. My lovely rose."
Ruby's blush had expanded to cover every inch of skin on her entire body- her ribs felt like they were about to shatter, but she couldn't bring herself to look away from the dark blue pools that were staring into her soul. She felt like she was being enveloped by a tsunami… but she wasn't trying to swim away.
Then, the tension that had built up between the two was released with a snicker. The world around them popped back into focus.
Ren was staring at the two of them, dumbstruck, while Nora was grinning like a madwoman. Jaune's own smile was more subtle, the intense power of his features having faded into a lighter, teasing smirk.
"What did I tell ya?" He asked playfully. "Pretty good, right?"
Ruby's blush faded, and she turned away, bangs covering her face.
"Yeah…" she whispered, refusing to look him in the eye. "...pretty good."
The table was silent for over a minute. Ren was looking across the table with a thoughtful expression. Nora was frowning at him, all amusement having evaporated from her face. Ruby said nothing, did nothing, but the embarrassment came rolling off her in waves. A few wandering eyes from the nearby students were craning over, listening carefully to see what had gotten the silver eyed beauty so flustered.
'Fuck, what did I just let myself say?' Jaune thought angrily.
He nudged her shoulder, in a way meant to both comfort Ruby and get her attention."Come on Rubes, I was just messing around." He lied.
"...I know."
Finally, Ren stepped in to save the pair. "...You've just made movie night rather awkward."
Jaune blinked. "Wha-"
"Spruce Willis." Ruby murmured. " 'Live Harder'. Friday night at seven. Wanted to know if-" She stopped herself.
"We were going to go last week." Nora interjected. "But someone had to get sick, so we had to wait, and we hadn't brought the idea up until now."
'Why would Ruby be so flustered by th-'
Jaune barely resisted the urge to slap himself.
Going to movies was something a group of friends could do, but it was also something couples did. By giving that kind of speech where anyone could overhear it, joke or not, he was adding fuel to the fire of Beacon's rumor mill, and making it very hard to argue that it was the purely platonic outing she had meant it to be… and she would get teased endlessly for it.
'What did I just say about not fucking with Ruby?!' He growled at his shadow.
'That was all you, bud.' he shot back. 'You didn't even mention the Rubooty or the Ruboobies-'
'WILL YOU JUST STOP?!'
He gathered himself, and then thought of a way to salvage the situation.
"It's at the theatre at the mall, right?" He asked tentatively.
Ruby nodded.
"Well, we could get there a little early, if it's at 7." He said. "GameShop is supposed to have a new demo of 'Deadeye' that we could check out."
Ruby sat up a little straighter. "...That does sound pretty cool."
"And while we're there, that new malt shop is just a few stores away."
Ruby perked up. "You mean that place with the awesome strawberry milkshakes?"
Jaune nodded. "Yep. My treat, if you want." Ruby suddenly looked nervous again, but Jaune plowed right ahead. "And," he whispered. " I heard a rumor that they're opening up a new laser tag arena right next to the gun store-"
"OH MY GOD!" Ruby shouted involuntarily. "Do you think they have different models like the real ones next door?! Would they let us test them out?! ...The lasers, I mean… but can you imagine if they let us use the real ones? Oh, man, I've been trying to find a gun range in Vale for ages but they're all so far awa-" Ruby stopped short. Jaune was smiling at her again, but there wasn't any teasing in it this time.
She was aware of the new stares her outburst had drawn, but that didn't stop her from smiling back."It's a d-" she caught herself. "-plan."
Most of the tension at the table was gone, but some remained, despite Jaune's best efforts to walk things back. As the bell rang and the four made their way back to class, Ren gently grabbed Jaune's shoulder. "Can I have a word with you?" He asked.
Jaune sighed, then nodded, falling behind until they were following just close enough that they kept their eyes on the girls, and just far away that they were out of earshot.
"I understand that you were just playing around, and you didn't mean any harm." Ren said calmly. "But you know how people are around here, how messy simple flirting can get. There are some things that shouldn't be played with."
Jaune looked at the two beauties walking in front of them, tantalizing him without a care in the world.
"...Agreed."
He still wanted them- Gods he wanted them- but it was want born of hunger, not starvation. Nora and Ruby were two of the best looking women he had ever seen, but he could savor their beauty while enjoying their company without a care in the world- if he needed to fuck a dime piece he had Cinder on speed dial. Beacon might be a smorgasbord of sex appeal, but he had food at home.
All was right with the world.
...Well, almost. Before he could come to terms with his nature, there was one more thing he had to do.
Jaune waited by the track with a growing fire in his chest. Firstly, Ruby, Pyrrha and over a dozen other girls were less than 100 yards away, in skintight workout gear, and every time one of them came by his eyes darted up to catch a glimpse. Secondly… well, the phone in his felt heavier than usual.
' Meet me by the field, ASAP. '
The message was sent to Velvet Scarlatina
It would have been easy to avoid her: they were in different years, different classes, different social circles. But he owed her an explanation, and while Jaune Arc was many things, he wasn't a coward.
Neither was Velvet, because in two minutes and 47 seconds she appeared in his peripheral, hurrying over, with long bare legs and a body covered with nothing but a skin tight leotard that looked like it was painted on.
'Down, boy.' He chided himself.
He took a few slow, controlled steps to meet her. This entire set up was meant to be just that, controlled. The track team was far enough away that he and the Faunus girl could have a private conversation, but close enough that they would notice if he pulled anything. The open area was a check against temptation. He looked at the slight flush on her cheeks and the gentle rise and fall of her chest that told him Velvet must have run straight here the second he had sent his message.
"H-hey." She said nervously, as she tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear.
He smiled reassuringly. "Hey." Then he looked her body over more closely. That sexy little number she was wearing was a uniform. "I didn't know you had practice today." He said. "If now isn't a good time-"
"-I can talk." Velvet said eagerly, ears perking up, before her blush deepened a bit at his reaction and they drooped back down. "I mean, I can be a few minutes late, considering."
Considering how important this was.
"I'm sorry I haven't said anything until now." He began.
Velvet smiled weakly. "Don't be." She said. "I can't tell you how long I've stared at my phone, trying to think of ...something I could say." She looked him over with a touch of concern. "Are you well?"
"Yeah." He said. "That whole 'out sick' thing might have been a little exaggerated."
The girl nodded, expecting, and hoping as much.
The two kept staring at each other for several moments before Jaune let out a sigh. "This should not be this awkward." He muttered to himself. Then he walked over to the nearest supply shed, sitting down and patting the ground next to him.
Velvet smiled and moved in next to him, a bit more hidden from any passersby.
"About last Monday…" Jaune began slowly. He looked into dark, warm eyes as Velvet gave the young man her complete attention. "... thanks for stepping in when you did."
Velvet's face went pink. "...You too." She muttered. " It would have been bad if you'd killed Sky, but if he had held onto those pictures, I…" Velvet started as the blond took her hand and gently squeezed it. She fought to speak as she let out a relaxed, thankful sigh. "...It doesn't look like he'll say anything." She whispered. "But if he talks, so will I. About everything."
"Velvet, you don't have to-"
"I do!" She insisted. " If it keeps them from throwing the book at you, I don't care who knows what we did!"
Jaune let out another heavy sigh. "About that." He said. "I… wanted to apologize, for...taking advantage of you, like that…"
"Jaune." She said, with a gentle smile. "It's okay-"
"It's not okay!" Jaune said. "I was pent up and you were there, so I used you!" Velvet blinked, and her words died in her throat. Jaune's eyes were filled with shame and guilt. " I wish I hadn't." he murmured. " I wish I could take it back, but I can't. I have to live with that." He sighed. "But you shouldn't have to. You're one of the last people I'd want to do that to."
Jaune realized how badly he'd just put his foot in his mouth the second the words left his lips. He winced as Velvet's eyes darted to the ground and any trace of a smile vanished.
The pair were silent for a long awkward moment. Jaune wanted to say something, wanted to hold her, but he kept quiet and kept his distance. Look at where those impulses had gotten him so far.
Finally, Velvet spoke.
"Was I really that bad?" She asked. The tone of her voice almost made it sound like she was joking, even though the droop in her ears and the slump of her shoulders gave her away.
Jaune leaned forward tenderly cupped her chin, turning it up so her eyes met his. "Gods, Velvet, no." He whispered, stroking her cheek. " You were good. Really good. Really, really good, like, I literally couldn't keep my hands off yo-" he saw the girl's growing blush. He pulled his hand back and awkwardly cleared his throat. "What I meant is, you're going to make a lucky guy very happy someday. And he'd better treat you right, or I'll have to kick his ass. I owe you that much."
The Faunus girl put on a smile. "Thanks, Jaune." She whispered. "And… I forgive you."
Jaune fought back the urge to hug her. " I don't deserve it, but I'll try to." He said gratefully. "I promise it won't happen again."
Velvet's smile didn't quite reach her eyes. "Alright, then. See you round." She said hastily, before pushing herself off the ground and briskly walking away.
'Well, she couldn't wait to get away from me.' he thought with a dull sense of pain. Not like he could blame her. Watching her leave hurt, and there was a growing part of him that was furious that he was pushing away such a fine piece of ass. He was stronger, though. Velvet was a hell of a girl; her happiness was more important than his lust.
Jaune couldn't hear the faint whispers under her breath as Velvet walked away with strained, practiced poise, voice slowly cracking.
" Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. "
Pyrrha Nikos was a woman on a mission. Her coach had never seen anyone finish all their assigned laps that quickly, and the star of the team was also the first one out of practice. She changed out of her sweaty clothes and adjusted her ponytail as best as she could. Maybe it was foolish to expect perfection, but that hadn't stopped her before, when she saw something she wanted.
Jaune Arc was back at Beacon, and he had stuck around a little late to offer Ruby a ride home from practice. Pyrrha had promised herself she would ask him out over a week ago, and then told herself to wait until she could do it in person. It had been the longest week of her life, but now he was right here, waiting, and she was going to make the leap.
The butterflies in her stomach were terrifying, but invigorating, as well. She was treading new ground. She had had crushes before, but none of them had ever been this strong, she had never found another man that caught her eye in the same way. Better still, a man that genuinely could care less about 'Pyrrha Nikos, the Invincible Girl' and more about 'Pyrrha, the hot chick from my second period'. As smooth as he was, she had caught him staring a few times, and the way he looked at her body felt like more of a triumph than any medal she had ever won. She approached him, the tall, broad shouldered figure in a black hoodie, and remembered the view he had hidden under there, a view she might be able to enjoy on demand.
Animalistic lust was no small part of her attraction, but there was more to it than that. Because while Jaune might be a stud, he was also Mason Arc's son. Which meant the most famous athlete of the last few decades was simply 'Dad' to him, and from what she knew about his past there was no idolizing of the man on Jaune's part. Plenty of people must have rushed to conclusions about Jaune via the vicarious fame, he had to have some idea of how people treated her. He had to see how superficial all the tabloids and photos and interviews could be, that Pyrrha Nikos was not some mythic figure but a girl with all the wishes and weaknesses of anyone else.
He was someone she could fool around with, who wouldn't treat her like some trophy to be put on a pedestal, someone who she could finally work through all those teenage hormones people liked to pretend she didn't have, but he was more than that too. Because, as little time as she spent with him, she had gotten to know him, just a bit. He could be distant, but also playful, funny, kind. More than someone she could experiment with, lust over, she saw someone she could like… and someday, maybe even ...love.
She stopped a few dozen yards away from him, blushing madly. Jaune hadn't noticed her yet- he was leaning against a supply shed, looking down with a pensive expression. She'd hoped he might say something as soon as he saw her, but it looked like she would have to get his attention and start the conversation herself.
'Why can't he just ask me?' She thought anxiously. She had dropped subtle hints, but she and Jaune didn't spend that much time together, and while she knew he was at least attracted to her he had other things on his mind. She didn't know much about dating, but she knew the guy usually asked the girl, and she wondered with some irritation why Jaune couldn't take care of this nerve wracking stage himself, but she told herself that was pointless whining. Sure, she would love to be romantically pursued for once, but no one else would be brave enough and Jaune had too many options to leave it to chance. Winners didn't sit around waiting for someone else to cross the finish line for them, and Jaune was a prize Pyrrha was determined to win.
Easier said than done, though.
She was close enough now that if she got any closer the target of her affections he would see her and she would be thrown into the fray or forced to surrender and retreat. What was wrong with her?! How many advertisements or interviews had she forced herself through, fighting past exhaustion with a well practiced smile? Why was it that with all that practice, when faced with a cute boy she could barely muster the strength for a 'Hello.'
That was all she needed. Just say 'Hello' and let the conversation flow from there. She could do this… she wanted this.
Before she could open her mouth the air was split with a loud *BRRRRRINGGGG. BRRRRRRRRING.'
Jaune's head snapped up as his hand shot into his was calling him. She could signal him, wait a few minutes to pop the question, but since he lived alone she did wonder who exactly would be calling him right no-
"Hey, babe."
The words hit her like an arrow through the chest.
"Friday night?" He asked, with a playful grin. " I dunno. I promised I'd hang out with my friends, but I could swing by a little later. Wear something nice for me, Cindy, and remember, less is more."
She had never heard that tone from him before, though she had dreamed of it. Authoritative, playful, lusty. The kind of man who would shatter the damned pedestal the world had shunted her onto and drag her into his bed. She'd heard it now, at the same moment she realized it wasn't meant for her.
"Yeah, I'll be staying the night." He said. "My boss cut my hours after I had to take off an entire week. Said he didn't want me to burn out." The other voice said something that had the blond roll his eyes. "Yes, that means more time for fucking, but I also need to make money." Then there was a pause before he chuckled at something the other person had said.
Someone beat Pyrrha to the punch.
It had been so long since she had lost, she had almost forgotten how much it stung. No… none of her defeats had ever hurt like this.
"By the way, I've been practicing that technique you showed me last time." He said, voice low. "Let's just say I'm a fast learner. Pretty soon I should be able to… Pyrrha?"
The spartan stopped feeling sorry for herself long enough to realize that the Arc was looking right at her.
"...Hello Jaune." She said cheerily. It wasn't genuine, and unlike her millions of fans Jaune was able to tell. 'Of course he can.' She thought wistfully.
"Cinder, hold for a minute." He said.
'Cinder.' She thought to herself, trying not to loathe the name. She was a better sport than that… even if the other woman had stolen her gold.
"What's up?"
"Oh, nothing." Pyrrha said. "Just wanted to welcome you back to Beacon."
Jaune smiled, in a way that made her heart go wild. "Thanks." He said warmly. "It's good to see you too." He paused thoughtfully, looking at the clock. "...Are you usually finished this early?"
Pyrrha laughed weakly. "Oh, I was just in a bit of a hurry today."
"What for?"
The redhead shook her head wistfully. "...No reason."
Jaune laughed. "What am I saying, you're a sprinter. Of course you're in a hurry. You know, Ruby says you're pretty fast." he mused.
'Ruby said.' Pyrrha thought longingly. 'Not the TV, or the record books…'
"Maybe when you've got a couple seconds to spare we could race sometime." he said playfully. "Think I'll be able to catch you?"
"...I'd like that." Pyrrha said honestly. "But I didn't mean to interrupt your call with your… girlfriend?"
The blond's lips twitched upward. "Something like that. Later, Pyrrha."
The girl smiled and walked away.
Jaune paused as the other woman got back on the line, no doubt asking who exactly Pyrrha was.
"Just a friend from school."
