At the lowest tier of the ship Babidi was looking white as a sheet from the results of the last match. Yakon…He…He… "That…fool! He took that earthlings energy before we could even use it! Then he goes and dies because he ate something too big for his stomach to handle!"
It was a double sided rage for the wizard who's favorite pet had been killed, and the energy they needed to resurrect Majin Buu had been lost. If anything…they have yet to inflict even the slightest bit of damage to make the power meter go up even the slightest of notches.
"Dabura…! You…Better slaughter them all! Beat them slowly and take everything you have from them! But leave the Supreme Kai for me."
"As you wish, Master Babidi." Dabura bent his upper torso forward in a bow before turning on his heel and taking the elevator up into his battle room. These intruders were…stronger than he expected. One he could not sense their power and the next was able to overwhelm Yakon without any outside interference. And judging by that glow…
{Master Babidi is foolish. I will end this farce right here and now. I should have just petrified them when they first got here.}
Should have but didn't. Now he had to get very messy in dealing with these earth fools and the Kai. Maybe he'd start with the Kai's attendant…that should get them all riled up. Then a thought came into mind. {Master Babidi…When I step into that room I want you to change up the field immediately to a place similar to earth.}
{Why? You'd surely have the advantage if you were all transported to the netherworld…It is your domain after all. Or are you worried that the other times we supposedly had the advantage we lost it?}
That was a good point, but it wasn't the one Dabura was looking towards. {I want no advantage here. The big green one in their group. I believe he is about as strong as I am. I've never been challenged so I want to fight him without any advantages on either side and see which of us is clearly greater.}
Truth be told he thought that if his foe was about his equal in battle then it wouldn't matter WHERE they fought. It would still be a close match. That said…he had no intention of losing to someone who looked like a monstrous humanoid insect.
They'd hardly stepped down into the third floor when the room changed. Cell observed their new surroundings quickly not just with his sight but the internal sensors that we was programmed with. The sky was red so they definitely weren't on earth…but there were many spire like formations around them as well as a vast red lake that seemed as though it were dyed in a pool of blood.
His first thought was that this was hell. Dabura transported them to his own domain for a tactical advantage but two things were missing from that assessment. Goz and Mez specifically…Frankly if they were in hell those two would be quick on their tails for allowing the living into their domain. Another indication that they weren't as of yet in Hell was the fact his sensors were reading out the air quality, gravitational strength and weather patterns in the local vicinity telling him that this place was much like earth in terms of the livable environment.
Not that it mattered to CELL. Thanks to the cells of Frieza that lay within him he could shut off his lungs and survive within a vacuum, so even if this place were entirely without atmosphere HE the very least survive.
His attention was taken away from the surrounding landscape when Dabura just seemed to teleport right into existence in front of them. The same smug smile he'd seen on the demon king that he saw from his son's last moments…It re-kindled the fire that was burning in his core, something he wondered was possibly being sparked by the Saiyan cells within him.
Dabura spread his feet out as he prepared to do battle, clawed hands curled into firsts as he glanced right into Cell's eyes. "You and your posse did well to come this far. You deserve the warriors welcome and for that I have come to you personally so that we can settle once and for all who is the better fighter."
"you sensed me this whole time didn't you? Or are you just getting nervous because you couldn't use Babidi's lackeys to weaken me before the fight?" Cell rasped out as got into a similar stance. His feet kicking up a slight cloud of dust while one hand remained to guard his face while the other remained at his side. "You must really be desperate if you think that those half pints could pose a threat to my friends."
Dabura scowled, hovering in the air some feet away from Cell before swinging his arm forward, creating a sharp wind stream to go hurtling towards his android foe who quickly jumped past it. This fight would start in the air, with the demon king hurling many of those wind blades at Cell who avoided each one skillfully, both due to the sensors in his body helping dictate where they might go and his own training time within the Time Chamber.
There was no way he would be taken in by such a weak display. Just wind was never going to kill him much less harm him but judging by how spires were cleaved and the lake water's parting he had little doubt that just Dabura's wind generation was as dangerous as a Destructo Disc. They had one thing over that particular attack though. One that Cell really should have seen coming given his extensive knowledge of this world.
He was too preoccupied using his sights and sensors to predict where the wind scythes would go that he didn't take into the account Dabura could manipulate said wind wherever he pleased as one such scythe circled back around him, cleaving his torso from his legs. It was a moment that he remembered as a humiliating defeat for Frieza and for it to occur to him…!
Cell's eyes bulged for a moment as he reached around his waist…trying to feel what wasn't there as he hovered in the air. Surprise caught him…and not in the good way, even as he heard Dabura's laughter rumbling ahead of him. The Demon's smug grin nothing but an irritation here. "What do you think YOU'RE laughing at?"
"You. You're only HALF the warrior I thought you'd be. I haven't even used half of my power and you're already falling to me."
"Curse you! I won't be beaten by you!" Cell bellowed even as Dabura's laughter intensified, booming through the valley as his victory was assured, only for a cackling laugh came out of Cell himself, silencing the demon king, who's blood ran cold the moment Cell added in. "Now that I've got your attention…watch this!"
He knew it was foolish to take his eyes from Dabura but he was certain the Demon king wouldn't attack…Not yet anyway. He focused his energy around his severed lower body as a new pair of scaled green legs sprang forth on his once again complete body, dripping in green fluids from his regeneration attempt. "Ahh…I always wanted to do that in battle…I bet I had you fooled didn't I?"
"WHAAAA!? I just…" Dabura stuttered on his words briefly. Fingers twitching at the strange ramifications of his foe regenerating so quickly in front of him. The fresh legs dripping with fluid…they were a lighter shade of green than the rest of him but they were indeed fully functioning as made apparent when Cell started making kicking motions in the air, moving with such speed he was barely able to keep up with the kicks. "I just…I slashed you in half. How are you back together?!"
"Is it REALLY that big a surprise?" Cell's reptilian eyes rolled in exasperation but his tail swayed to the left and the right behind him in irritability or maybe just mild amusement. "I'm perfect. You don't need to know any more than that because by the time this is over…you'll be part of me. So that information will be made known to you once you're in here." The bio android moved one hand towards his belly, followed by a few pats for emphasis.
The proclamation snapped Dabura back into reality. A growl coming from his throat before he charged in towards his foe. Fists collided with one another sending a rippling shock wave in the immediate area not felt by the onlookers but definitely visible.
"I am going to kill you. If you can't be cut down then I'll rip you to shreds." Dabura bellowed as each of his punches were being met with equal resistance by Cell's own. Eventually he found their back and forth futile and such opened his fists and grabbed his foe by their arm to thrust them right on into a mountainside.
The resulting collision left a bit of a quacking impact on the surrounding area as Cell was sent crashing right through it and over. Only stopping himself once he was hovering above the lakeside from the other end. By then Dabura had flown over and around the mountain, bringing both his hands together to spike Cell right on into the water's depths.
"What a presumptuous fool. He thinks he can contend with the king of demons? He should have fought me with his friends."
A few air bubbles rose from the surface, to which Dabura quickly fired a well aimed Ki blast into, splashing up a good deal of water. "Go ahead…you can try to surface but I'll blast you apart. You either suffocate and drown in the depths of the lake, or you can be obliterated by my attacks."
"How about…neither?"
Cell's voice came from behind Dabura who's face once again had gone white as a sheet even as the Android's fist crashed into the side of his face, sending him diving headlong into the water. "I'm sorry. I guess I forgot to mention my powers of Instantaneous Movement!"
It only took handful of seconds, but Dabura sprang out of the water in a rage, his face now redder than it had been when they started. "What in the world are you! People don't just teleport!" Were they mocking him? So far everything pointed to the idea that Cell was merely toying with them. He could have sworn that they never got out of the water. He'd have seen it, even if they kicked up a lot of water when he'd fired that ki attack.
"Like I said King…Instantaneous Movement. I had the Supreme Kai over there teach it to me." Cell gestured towards Shin with a thumb, smiling smugly with his beak. "It only took me about a day but when you're perfect then you only need a day." He paused to take a breather, not that he needed it, which brought him to his next point. "Oh by the way…You didn't corner me. I don't need air like you do. I can survive under water, In space…wherever. So if you were hoping you could drown me then you're not going to get very far."
This was getting on Dabura's nerves. How could someone be capable of surviving under water…regenerate their bodies from harm and yet still perform so well. Their energy should have dropped at least a little from the effort. Maybe they were…and their show was just bravado to try and cause him to make a mistake.
{Yes…that HAS to be it. If I stay calm though he won't be able to get the better of me. Deep breaths.} Dabura thought as he set both his arms to his side and inhaled. He kept one eye on Cell but the Android didn't seem keen to stop him. "You know…The longer this fight drags on the more energy I gather for Majin Buu. So if you're toying with me you're only sowing your own fate. I suggest you attack me with everything you have!"
The change in tone surprised Cell. This guy really wanted him to attack with all the power that was in him? That was a foolish request if there ever was one. But that bit about Majin buu had him stifling a laugh. So that was his goal? "Sorry. You're right, I SHOULD be going all out. I've been holding back because I wanted to give you a fighting chance. But if you really cling to the hope that Majin buu is going to be the end of me I have news for you…He doesn't have a chance of reviving."
"What do you mean no chance? You're already deep within the bowels of the ship. There IS no chance for you anymore to escape your fate. Majin Buu will return soon. Your power and mine…will make it so."
"Really? Because you haven't been able to do ANYTHING to me. But if you insist!" Cell clenched his fists, gathering energy from every inch of his body as it expanded briefly, his muscles tensing and gaining more definition. Small rocks levitated off the ground in response to his powering up, the ground quaking. At one point even the waters that Dabura had risen from began to swirl…
Cell's power was beginning to alter the very atmosphere as several acts of nature were taking place all at once. Extreme wind at one point blanketed the horizon as Trunks and the others had to get low to the ground to avoid being pulled away. Lightning struck in the background, one of which seemed to strike just between both combatants.
The demon lord could not look away. His eyes were drawn to Cell's body. Watching his chest puff out some as if he were about to grow, but he never did take on a huge muscle increase…Though his arms and legs definitely showed much more muscle beneath those scales even as his tail twitched while Cell's howls echoed throughout the area.
"Aaaaah!" Babidi fell on his backside as the light from his crystal ball was beginning to overwhelm him. "Quick…Bring…Bring the strongest reader that you have! This guy…He might be even greater than Majin Buu…" He quaked in his place while one of his minions rushed to get a power meter, the best that they had on them.
The results were not favorable to Babidi. The meter had completely run OVER the display…Practically fried it's circuits and those not even in use while his crystal ball cracked under the pressure. "No…No he'll kill him. He'll kill us all…!"
Back on the world they'd been fighting in, Cell's tail twitched, pulsing as did the rest of his body as his height increased by about 4 inches…not much of a difference but the horns on his head began to grow a bit more pointier. Retaining his beastly imperfect appearance even as they began to curve back some what.
Even his tail, which was already slender and long gained a bit more width, and when it slammed into the ground there was a considerable crack that traced all the way down towards the lake…somewhat draining some of it's contents into the new fissure he'd just created.
Lightning sparked around his yellow-gold battle aura, his eyes looking more piercing than they'd already been before, yet…at the same time he looked as though nothing really changed. "Sorry about that…" Cell rasped, lifting his hands up to guard. "You wanted me to fight all in. This is my version of the Super Saiyan that Trunks used on your Yakon…Just call me Super Cell at this point."
There was no doubt that Dabura could sense the overwhelming pressure coming from Cell's body. Lightning coursing through his battle aura, those horns having a much more sharper V-like pattern and curled to his back somewhat…almost like a Ram's horns. The aura reminded him of that Trunks boy that fought Yakon. So THIS was their secret.
It was different at the same time. It felt…Dangerous. Like his foe were a massive Kaiju and he was but an ant that was about to be trampled down upon. It made the demon furious! That any mortal would stand to believe that they are above HIM the DEMON KING. He willed his Darkness Sword into existence. It looked a rather menacing blade with a curved hook at the end of it's tip, the light from Cell's aura giving it a menacing glow as if it would cleave the world.
"Nobody is stronger than me! Not you, and certainly not that BOY." Dabura snarled in his rage and moved in to swing at Cell. Each strike avoided without problem however. Cell was just too fast. "I am going to cut you into tiny pieces…There won't be enough MASS for you to reform."
"You'll have to hit me first." Cell taunted, each of Dabura's attacks looking very slow to the bio warrior. An upward thrust that Cell would side step followed by a horizontal swing it all simply looked to him that he was seeing every attack frame by frame. Even his sensors were unnecessary at this point because his senses were so acutely aware, the Demon couldn't so much as flinch without Cell catching on.
And he did. The moment Dabura grew tense in his frustration, Cell was quick to use his tail tip, which managed to cleave the Darkness sword in two before kicking Dabura into the ground, creating a sizable crater upon impact, though Cell remained un-amused. "You have lost. Just admit your defeat and I will make your end painless. Trust me…You'd be much better off living inside my body, fueling my perfection than as a puppet for Babidi."
That kick stung. Even left a decent bruise on Dabura's cheek that only further enraged him. He rose back up, now attempting to claw at the insectoid looking android with nothing but his bare hands. "You are a foolish creature. It's unwise to make me angry! I will resurrect Majin Buu and YOU will become just a stepping stone to our dominance!"
"Stepping stone? I'm the one who keeps kicking you down. You're the one that's the stepping stone." It was a taunt that was well deserved here, where Cell was fending off Dabura with nothing but his own legs. His training in the time chamber apparently made him stronger than even he'd seen coming. He felt like he might well be stronger than the Majin themselves but he had no desire to test that theory…Not without having a few extra people trapped in his stomach to fuel him further.
He wasn't even trying. Each time Dabura slashed at him he applied just enough force in his feet to kick them away, smiling all the while. It wasn't until Dabura stopped that he finally found himself on the receiving end of something nasty. The demon had proceeded to exhale a rather toxic and heated flamethrower over his body.
"There!" Dabura cheered as the smoke enveloped everything but the raw flames that were eating away at Cell's body, clearly forming a burning silhouette of the monster trapped in the midst of the inferno. "No matter who you are, it doesn't make a DIFFERENCE how strong you are if you're burned alive! I WIN!
The demon started howling with laughter as the fire raged even more intensely as it further enveloped his foe. His smug demeanor came to a halt however when a quick flick of his tail and Cell managed to snuff out the fire entirely. Burned all over, he didn't look pleased in the slightest but his composure hadn't changed from before. His arms remained crossed against his chest, electricity spiking around him.
"you're…a freak. There's no way you should be able to fight after taking such fierce burns…That was hellfire you freak!"
Cell didn't respond. Verbally anyhow. Instead he outputted a bit of extra power that sent gale force winds surging in Dabura's direction as the burn marks slowly receded…They were being healed in real time as the android powered up further.
"Well…I think this is over. You can't offer any real challenge to me anymore. It's time I put you away for good."
The last straw for Dabura came when Cell YAWNED. He was BORED with him. "I won't lose…you bastard…! Besides with as much power as you've been pushing out Buu will be back very soon. So it'll be you who will suffer!"
"Oh COME ON. I thought I told you Buu wouldn't be reviving. Since you're about to become a part of me I guess I'll tell you why." Cell was within Dabura's reach in seconds as his wings flexed and in a boom he had flown right up to the demon, his tail hovering above the two of them as if to preview his fate. "I already halted the flow that was being pumped into the pod."
"You WHAT?!"Dabura's eyes widened, mirroring his Master who was watching from just the next floor below. "You lie. You never stepped foot into our ship. And if you'd tried to sneak away during the other fights we would have noticed you immediately."
"You're right. You WOULD have noticed me immediately. However I wasn't the one you needed to be looking for." With a thumb he gestured behind him to what could only be described as a rather small drone. Smaller than that of an average thumb. "This…lovely device is a surveillance drone. Created by my father to collect samples of the world's strongest fighters to eventually inject into my genetic code."
"Are you saying you weren't even BORN? You're an experiment. Nothing more!" Dabura defiantly remarked. Not understanding the implications of the drone.
"We're getting off topic here. Yes I was born in a lab. Created from the worlds most powerful fighters. Including the galactic lord Frieza. Oooh…Judging by the look of terror on your face I'm guessing you've heard of him." Cell cackled, crossing his arms again as he felt no threat from the demon king. "This Drone…after my birth was mostly non functioning. That is until I had Bulma tinker with it's designs… I even had her add a function that for the most part is exclusive only to me. A function I call Bio integration."
"Bio…what?"
"Bio Integration. I can assimilate data and electronics organically and absorb it into my system. That drone has what I call Integration Lite. Not as fully functioning as mine but still good. While we were fighting on your ship…even during 16's battle, I had it scouring the ship to find Majin Buu's pod…and had it consume the very technology you and your cohorts were using to revive the Majin. So…You see, he's already incapable of resurrection."
The full implications took a few seconds but Dabura finally understood what that all meant. This whole fight…Cell was toying with him because their drone was busy disabling their systems. Now that it's been done they no longer had a reason to prolong this fight. "You filthy…"
In his last effort to stop Cell once and for all, Dabura spat right on his chest. Something that shocked Cell and even the other fighters as the saliva began to solidify and work to petrify him. "You may have stopped us temporarily but with you out of the way now, the plan will resume. Good work pushing me this far."
Cell put one hand on his chest, shivering as he felt his body getting cold due to the petrification. He looked completely horrified, but then...something strange happened. The petrification halted…In fact…The stone seemed to just crumble off his abdomen to reveal his body perfectly fine underneath, followed by a rather large grin on the android's beak.
"Sorry. That's going to be your LAST try. When you petrified my son, the cells in my body learned from the experience and came up with effective countermeasures to prevent future outbreaks." Cell remained unfazed, his tail tip hovering just over Dabura menacingly before it stretched out into it's bell like shape. "And now…I will add you to my body. Welcome to your new HOME!"
His spit…it was stopped. That was the moment when Dabura lost all semblance of hope. But he did not surrender. When he saw the funnel coming down on him a genuine wave of fear came over him. Like a rat that was about to be swallowed by a snake. He reached his hand out to grab the lip of the funnel. "Don't do this…! We can rule this universe together! You and me…! Overthrow Babidi and the world is ours!"
Really…? The old super villain shtick when nothing is going there way? Dabura was going into hysterics at this point even as the funnel loomed around his head. It was all pathetic in Cell's opinion. The demon king never once could accept his loss. And the moment he transformed into Super Cell they'd devolved into pure rage. "It's better this way. We will definitely rule the universe. But not in the way you think. You can help me by fueling me forever."
It was something Cell was looking forward too all day. He licked his beak as Dabura's strength was waning, his grip faltering before that one defining fatal mistake caused his hand to slip and the funnel snapped around his shoulders and the suction began to pull him into the tail. "You won't find death in me Dabura…I won't let you. Instead…you will live on forever inside of me. Trapped in my stomach as a prisoner and giving me even greater power. THIS is your judgment."
No death…? Dabura was shaking as he felt pink fleshy muscles pulling him inside. He kicked, tried to reach his arms out but the tail had already lifted him above ground and all he could hear was the booming voice of his predator laughing and detailing what the future held for him. Now more than anything he wanted to die…
He could hear the wet sounds of Cell's body, squelching and groaning around him. The flesh contracted around him, squeezing him further into the fleshy snake like appendage and the analogy of him being a mouse felt all the more real. He was being consumed…whole and alive with no means of escape.
On the outside, just as he'd done with his siblings, Cell was finding immense pleasure at watching Dabura's large roundish bulge travel up the length of his tail. He'd even bumped his beak into it at one point as he cackled. The feeling was of utmost bliss…His father's words ringing in his ears even as his tail sucked in Dabura's abdomen, leaving nothing but a pair of kicking legs for the world to see.
{I really am an insatiable glutton…I've wanted to do this for a long while…And I get to do it one more time.}
Inside, Dabura howled. He begged for Cell to release him but every time he did so there was laughter from his predator who no doubt was enjoying every minute. Dabura was not enjoying this organic ride…Especially as he neared the base of the tail. He could hear Cell's stomach…the ominous gurgles from within but he had a feeling from Cell's taunts…he was not going to be digested in a horrendous way.
It may end up being much…much worse…
He wouldn't have to think about that for much longer because he'd soon be experiencing it. Cell picked up the pace, his tail convulsing somewhat as it worked to suck in Dabura's legs like they were candy before the bell shrank back into it's stinger tip. NOW no matter what Dabura or Cell desired, he was there to stay, and he watched as slowly but surely…the bulge in his tail was reaching the base…That's when the pleasure really hit the high note for Cell as his stomach expanded…and his prey was deposited right on into it.
Thankfully, as large as Dabura was…he did not make a bulge. A loud swallowing sound came from his tails base as the demon seemingly vanished from the face of the earth…not even a bulge within the android. Inside was another story entirely…Dabura would find himself cramped…Even caught the sights of both 17 and 18 curled up in similar balls as himself but seemingly in a deep trance like sleep. "They're…Alive…! Hey…! Wake up…!"
He didn't care specifically about them, but he thought if they awoke maybe they could all overwhelm his predator and escape. Unfortunately for him…neither of them awoke and a nameless terror came over him…Would he be this way? Forced into a permanent sleep but kept alive? He tried raising his power inside of this fleshy prison but every time he did…the flesh around him absorbed it! Siphoning his power and making him feel fatigued. As he did, he felt his sense of perception fading… Or rather…it was being siphoned off him.
He was growing tired…And that terrified him. His sense of self awareness…As darkness crept over him he could feel it being pulled out. Or rather it was merging…This beast…This android that consumed him…It was taking everything that he was, his power, his personality…everything that he was…it was being overwhelmed by Cell's very presence around him. Truly he was neither in heaven or hell…But an eternity of his own existence being smothered by the very creature who'd thoroughly outclassed him.
On the outside, Cell gave a few sated pats around his belly. It always felt good to absorb someone whole…He rarely did it given the implications for the absorbed…But for people like Dabura he had no guilt in subjecting them to his existence. Already he could feel his power growing almost double what he'd had even before the absorption.
"Welcome home. You and I are going to get to know each other a lot better from now on." He whispered to himself while letting his transformation recede back into his normal imperfect state.
"Now then…" He waited until everyone else was present and blasted a hole right into the elevator shaft. The look in his eyes told how he wasn't willing to wait any longer. An impatience that wasn't usually something that Cell usually had. "Let's go. I want to eat that wizard too for what he's done."
"R-Right…" Shin was near speechless at the last few minutes. He'd seen this person..Cell…their tail just up and swallowed someone as huge as Dabura and yet nothing could be seen of them, though if he listened closely he could hear a faint gurgle coming from the android's middle which only made him shudder. An eternity inside another…He couldn't fathom the torment that Dabura would be going through from now on and in that instance he was happy Cell was on their side.
The Kai obeyed out of respect for the display of power everyone had shown up till now. He wasn't in a position to argue and if what Cell told Dabura was true then they had no more reason to fear Buu's resurrection.
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING...
The rattling of the ship forced Babidi on his backside. He felt true terror now that everyone he'd trusted, those he thought would be his greatest warriors had been reduced to rubble. "I…I have to escape…Someone! I don't care who you are but prepare for my exit! I expect you to stall them while I'm making my way out."
He ran his way past a dozen guards, all of whom called out to him in their own desperate pleads to be spared but they were all cut off when a deafening explosion roared into the room, engulfing most all of them in a deluge of flames.
Coming from those roaring fires was Cell, his eyes glowing red in the glow of the flames as he stared menacingly towards his prey, Babidi, quivering in fear of his mere approach. He'd spent too long here trying to make sure Buu didn't wake just from the aftershock of their battles, but after thoroughly disabling the revival systems for the great Majin he could go on a rampage…Destroy the whole ship and Buu would not come back from it.
All the better as Hercule was not alive in this timeline…So there would be no appealing to his good nature. That mattered little to Cell right now as he stormed over to Babidi like a demon himself.
"You fool…Don't you know my possession magic is greatest in close range!?" Babidi sounded sure of himself despite the way his body trembled in fear. He lifted both hands up, glowing a light purple, his aim for Dabura who was inside of the Bio Android…They still had evil in their heart. If they were so deep into this…this beast! Then surely he could use that to make Cell into his new pawn.
And indeed the M did appear on Cell's belly for a brief moment. He'd clutched at his stomach as he felt a cramping pain in there…Something fighting him…Was it Dabura…? No. That fool was already subdued…his very presence forcing them into submission. Someone was trying to influence them though. Thankfully...he had countermeasures for that.
Inside of him, Dabura remained curled up, teeth clenching in his pain even as he was pulled into the sleep like trance like the other absorbee's, the mark on his forehead burning hot…as if willing him to break loose, but the whole time he felt as if he were being held down…the visual image of Cell keeping him pinned down under one great three toed foot was like he was oppressed by a mountain that he could never get off his back.
Then the next…He felt some relief. That same presence that was keeping him subdued, also gave him an odd sense of relief, as it was even overwhelming the mark that Babidi had put on him…Overpowering it's influence before snuffing it out completely. The pain at the very least of that wretched mark ceased…
As did it's effect on Cell. The mark vanished from his stomach, but his rage did not. Was it his or Dabura's? He had little doubt some of the demons anger was seeping into him right then and there from the utter disregard for pain that their former master had caused him despite his already plain humiliation. Cell didn't care if it was by Dabura's anger or his own, but he was going to make Babidi pay for the lives he manipulated.
"Wait…Wait please! If Buu ever revives I am the only one who can seal him up. So you can't afford to kill me."
All the same, Cell's eyes remained red in the after glow of fire before his stinger tail twitched, pointing at Babidi. The wizard had only enough time to erect a barrier but it was quickly smashed through by the tail's tip which wedged itself right into Babidi's neck. "Silence. Your reign of terror on my planet is over."
Babidi couldn't speak after that tail stinger cut through him. He could feel pain but at the same time he was numb to it. He couldn't believe this was happening…! And then he felt it…Something was pulling him inside. It hurt. He looked at the tail and how it pulsed…He could see a few bulges running along it's length all the way to the base and wondered what that was…
Then he looked down and saw it. His body…It was shriveling up. Even more than his body already was! His shoes had fallen to the ground with a clack as his legs were missing. Sure his legs were usually hidden underneath his robes but now he could barely feel them…They'd been sucked up! He let out a weak scream which sounded more hoarse as he pleaded. "No…I beg you to let me go…"
Cell wasn't having any of it though. He watched with a cold stare as his tail twitched, Babidi's body shriveling in real time as his body slowly began as thin as a sheet. Most of his organs and muscle mass were quick to be taken in and soon all of his pathetic begging for mercy had been silenced as he was quickly reduced to bare skin that was drawn into the tail.
There was a faint sound that a straw made when there was only dregs left in a glass as Cell finished off the diminutive wizard and let their clothes fall in a heap on the floor. He sighed a breath of relief and let his tail swing back where it belonged behind him. He was hoping that would have been more satisfying but truth be told Babidi didn't even qualify as a snack. He was still hungry…
"A bottomless pit with a desire to feed. I will never be satisfied." He lamented before looking at all the fire that was collecting around the ship. "We should go. There's nothing left for us here."
"What about…What about Buu?" Shin really didn't know what to think at this point. Everything he'd spent the last couple centuries trying to put an end to, Cell did in a matter of moments. With the fire growing and the henchmen of Babidi's crew having all been blown apart in a blaze of fire there wasn't much left.
"He's deader than dead." Cell admitted, gesturing to the sealed ball that was just in the room and pointed to the life signs that had flat lined for the ball. "We've stopped his revival now we need to go before all of you become victims too. I won't stand for innocents like you to die in here." Without even saying a word he walked over to 16 and Trunks and set a hand on their shoulders. "You DO know instant transmission, don't you Kai?"
"I do…Oh of course!" He quickly set a hand on Kabito's leg and gave an understanding nod to Cell. In a flash all of them were transported out of the ship and to the mountains that overlooked the plains. They'd gotten out just in time to see the surface level go up in a huge fireball that turned the sky red.
Smoldering remains of a villain's plan that went awry the minute they chose to target a Cell Jr. They may have succeeded had they managed to stay out of Cell's radar. The android kept one hand firmly on his stomach, as if he were thinking about the ship and some of the memories Dabura might have had in there. He'd hated the demon…but now that they were a part of him he felt a strange sense of sadness and yet, he could feel relief as if Dabura was happy he didn't have to live under that clown's control any longer.
{DATA RECOVERY HAS BEGUN. RECOVERY WILL TAKE…ONE…YEAR.}
That was the computer back at Gero's lab. Cell wondered just what exactly that announcement was for. He looked towards Android 16 who likewise gave him a nod that indicated he'd heard those words too. {What is going on back at the lab…Data recovery…? Guess this tale isn't quite over yet…}
1 year later, on a planet in the far distance…Beerus, the God of destruction was waking up from his 39 year slumber…His awakening was not gentle. Several bomb clocks that were centered around him blew around his bed, a bed that had been levitating as per his tastes.
The sound should have woken him up but it didn't…Humorously though, the moment Whis, his attendant sneezed, the cat's ears perked and he climbed out of bed with a yawn. He felt sluggish…How long had he been asleep for…?
It didn't matter. Once he crawled out of bed and fell to the surface floor, he made his way to sit at the table where Whis had begun preparing his feast. He had one thing on his mind right now and it wasn't food…It was a prophecy.
The ultimate challenger that would be his rival. It was that promised time…Now he just had to find them.
