Nova shifted her book bag over her shoulder as she stepped out behind a trash can. Dress in her normal clothing. "That was a close one," she said as she tugged down her shirt. Peter stood by as a look out, also back to his normal clothing.

"Yeah… and there goes our big star wrestling career," he sarcastically said. After seeing his cousin was now dressed and continued down the streets. Nova quickly followed behind him.

"Eh, they were a bunch of maniacs, especially the woman,"

Peter scuffed, "I don't think some of those were really woman,"

"So now what are we going to do?" She asked looking over at her Peter, "That we no longer can use our powers anymore and chip in to help Ben and May. Should we pretend to be normal teenagers?"

Peter sighs as he glanced at the towering buildings, "For now, yes," there was silence between them as they continued walking. They even came across a Wendy's. Nova stares at it and starts to mumble out to herself. "I wonder if my spider powers will be useful as an asset changing grease traps over there,"

Peter chuckled under his breath, "Yeah and I'll get a job with computers or at a lab or something,"

Nova turned her attention back to him, "Oh~ Mister brains thinks he can get a better job than me?" she teased, knowing he could possibly do it.

"Darn right I can," Peter smirks at her, "And I'll come over on your shifts to order some fries and a drink," he teased back.

"Hey!" Nova nudges Peter as they burst into child-like laughter.

"Help! We've been robbed!!" Called out a man's voice.

Before Nova and Peter realized what happened, a man in regular street clothes and a baseball cap ame running in their direction. Not far behind, a large heavy set man was coming from behind, "He robbed my deli! My deli! He robbed us! Somebody help us!!"

The ball cap guy shoved a middle-aged woman to the ground and soon he was upon the teenager. They both felt a tingle up their spins. Nova jumped out of the way but Peter was playing a dance with the man.

"Get out of my way, kid!" the ball cap man shouted.

"Oh I'm sorry, I thought you would want to tangle with me," Peter said sarcastically before stepping to the side to let the man go by. Soon, the heavy set man approached them, out of breath. He glared at the boy. "Jeez! Nova, can you believe that guy? What a dork!" said Peter, then he noticed the other man, "What?"

"What was that?!" the man screamed. Nova stood on the sidelines as watch Peter and this man break down as they argued. She turned her attention to where the ball cap man went and could see him still running a good distance beyond the traffic.

"What was that?!" the man shouted, looking like he was going to punch Peter.

"What was what?" Peter asked, looking confused at the situation.

Nova was still keeping her eyes on the ball cap that was now getting further away.

The man points his finger at Peter, still screaming. "All you had to do was trip him! Stick your foot out and he's kissing the pavement!"

"Whatever…" Peter scuffed as he shifted his bag over his shoulder, "I've got my own problems, big guy!" he turned where Nova stood, "Come on No-Nova?" He realized she was no longer there. He looked around and she was nowhere to be found.

Nova keeps chasing the guy by running on rooftops. For a while, she had been training herself to control her invisibility and slip under Peter's and everyone's detection as she climbed up the side of the building. She didn't want the ball cap man to get away and really wanted to use her powers for good use. Not just performed on a dirty wrestling stage. She needed a perpours and this was calling her.

For a few minutes, she had been tracking him down as she watched him push and train over people like he was still being chased. Unfortunately, he was and it was her.

Why in the world would he be stealing deli? She asked herself. Still waiting for the right moment to jump down on top of him.

What might have felt endless, he eventually turned into an alleyway. Perfect! Nova quickly took her advantage and slipped on her mask over her head before jumping down onto his back. Knocking him to the ground. The sack of meat fling out of his hand and slides deep into the dark alley.

"Hult, in the name of Justice!" Nova cried out as she flipped off and landed right before him. "I, Lady Arachnid," she struck a sailor moon pose, "Here to end your crime!"

The man slowly lifted up his head and glared at the masked girl. "What the…" he looked at her and soon started to chuckle into a laugh, "What are you? Some kid playing dress up?"

Nova grit her teeth under her mask, "This is no joke!" She grabbed a hold of his shirt and lifted him up off the ground. The man struggled in her grasp.

"Whoa! Kid, put me down!!" he screamed.

Nova snicker, "Nope, I'm taking you and the deli that you stole back to the-"

Suddenly, a chilling unnatural sound was heard behind her in the dark parts of the ally. Nova slowly turned her gaze behind her, still holding her grip on the man. It sounded like something was eating something with a hint of a growl. Soon it went quiet and a sack was tossed by her feet.

"My food!" The man gasped. Nova keeps her attention in the darkness ahead of her. Two large yellow eyes burn through the shadows and a large figure shifts towards them.

The man screamed and slipped from Nova grasp as the creature apochess. He quickly ran away. Only leaving the terrified masked girl with a monstrous creature.

Nova could see its large sharp teeth smirking at her as it slowly creeped closer and closer. That strange tingle in her neck rose. Before the strike forward, Nova ran to a wall and started to climb up on it. The creature follows her in pursuit and grab a hold of her hood, pulling her into the shadows. Nova screamed as she quickly slipped out of the hoodie and staggered up the walls. She didn't dare to look back but she could hear the creature was behind her. The sound of crumbling rocks and its heavy breathing was not too far beneath her. As she reached the top of the building, she dashed with all her might and quickly went invisible. Hoping to lose track of it.

Suddenly, a massive roar was heard. Making Nova run with quicker speed that she didn't see where she was stepping until it was too late.

A loud crack was heard as she fell down and hit the ground below with a loud thud. Slowly everything went black.
