Jin Matsuriya shouted to which Brady, Cynthia and Gluttony the Homunculus responded by getting from the couch while sporting a serious expressions as they understood what Jin had meant.

The story open in a rather dense forest in an unnamed world located somewhere in the multiverse and at an open area, we see several critters such as rabbits and chipmunks scouring around when all of a sudden a bright light-colored portal with blue highlights materialized out of thin air which sends the small animals running and coming out of the portal are three figures.
The first figure is a Thai-American teenage girl with a slender build and a light brown complexion, she had a messy auburn hair with two small leaves and a stick stuck in her hair, she had dark-brown colored eyes. She wears a golden-colored body armor with blue highlights over a gray stained t-shirt with a purple collar and a "SJMS" crest embroidered on it, she wears a short purple skirt, gray-colored socks and a single pair of yellow sneaker with white lining on her left foot. She also carries a magenta pink backpack with a TUFSTUF logo on it. This is Anne Boonchuy.

The second figure is a Taiwanese-American teenage girl with a slender build and she had an olive-colored complexion, she had a short shiny black hair held by a green hairpin and she had a dark brown oval-shaped eyes. She wears a faded gray hooded cape complete with a white-furred collar which is held together with a brown shell. She also wears a brown metal chest plate with a light gray t-shirt underneath, a stitched skirt and grey winter snow boots which are wrapped with studded straps. She has gray fingerless gloves on each of her hands. This is Marcy Wu.

The third figure is a teeange girl with a slender build and a fair complexion, she had a long blonde hair with a long bangs parted to the right side of her head, she had an almond-shaped blue eyes with a beauty mark underneath her left eye, and had a visible scar on her right cheek. She wears a brown armor over gray clothing, a black cape, a large brown pauldron on her right shoulder, and a studded belt with a holster. She also wears wraps on her right hand, a glove on her left hand, and armored boots. This is Sasha Waybright.

What's their story?
On her 13th birthday, Anne is peer-pressured into stealing a mysterious music box known as the Calamity Box which magically transports her and her two best friends Sasha and Marcy to the world of Amphibia, a wild marshland tropical island full of anthropomorphic amphibians and threatening creatures, where they found themselves separated from each other.
Anne is taken in by the Plantars, a family of frogs that consists of excitable young Sprig, unpredictable and adventurous baby pollywog Polly and overprotective and traditional grandfather Hop Pop who live on a farm in the town of Wartwood. As she bonds with her newfound family, Anne gradually learns what it means to be a hero and develop a true friendship, all the while trying to find her friends and return home. Sasha became allies with Captain Grime, leader of the warfaring toads of Toad Tower, who seek to control their home of Frog Valley. Marcy ends up in Newtopia, the capital of Amphibia, the seat of the government and home to the ruler of Amphibia.
Anne and the Plantars would later go on a road trip to Newtopia, to learn the secrets of the Calamity Box and find a way to get Anne home. There, Anne reunites with Marcy, who offers to help restore the box's power through a series of ancient trials, unaware that Amphibia's ruler, King Andrias, secretly has plans for them. Meanwhile, Sasha and Grime plot to invade Newtopia and overthrow the monarch, allowing the toads to rule over all of Amphibia.
After Andrias shown his true colors and nearly killed Marcy, Anne and the Plantars were transported to the former's home in the suburbs of East Los Angeles. Anne must now help the frog family adjust to the human world and keep their identities a secret while searching for a way to return to Amphibia and stop Andrias's invasion of the Multiverse. When they return, they discovered Sasha and Grime have started a resistance force in Wartwood and aid them in their rebellion against Andrias, who is using Marcy as a vessel for his master, an entity known as the Core.
After stopping Andrias and defeating the core, Anne, Marcy and Sasha said their goodbyes to everyone in Amphibia and went home by entering a portal.
Unfortunately for the Calamity Trio, the portal led them to somewhere else.
Anne looks around with a raised eyebrow, "So, where are we?" she asked, "Are we really back home?" she questioned, "Because I'm pretty sure that we don't have this kind of forest in Los Angeles." she pointed out.
"Los Angeles is pretty big, so we can be anywhere." Marcy stated, "I'm pretty sure that we're now back home." she declared with a nervous grin.
Suddenly, a gigantic hawk flew above them, much to their shock and horror.
"And I'm pretty sure that giant hawks doesn't exist in Los Angeles." Anne pointed out nervously, "And by extension..." she trailed, "... Earth." she concluded.
Marcy's eyes then widen in realization, "Oh no..." she uttered in dread, "... I can't believe that it crossed my mind that the box might have open a portal to another world that isn't ours!" she lamented.
"Are you saying..." Sasha trailed, "... we didn't made it back home?!" she pointed out in panic.
Marcy sighed in disappointment, "Seems so..." she confirmed, "Sorry, girls..." she apologized, "I really screw up big time." she admitted in guilt.
Anne then placed a hand on Marcy's shoulder, "Don't feel bad, Marcy..." she reassured, "... you couldn't have known that this would happen." she stated.
"So, how are we gonna get back home now?" Sasha asked, "Without the box or the gems, we don't have a way to open another portal!" she pointed out.
Marcy crossed her arms, "I'm thinking, I'm thinking..." she uttered.
"For now, I say we look around for any nearby town and ask for some help." Anne suggested before turning around and her eyes widen in panic when she saw something, "That is if we can get past those things first!" she exclaimed with a finger pointed at a certain direction.
Her companions then turns their attention to the direction Anne was pointing and their eyes' widen in horror when they spotted a group of Emotionless roaming around.
"What are those things?!" Sasha squawked in shock.
"I don't know." Marcy replied, "But they look like some sort of mouthless dinosaurs." she described.
"Does that mean that we arrive in a world where dinosaurs are still alive?" Anne assumed.
"I don't know." Marcy answered, "But it's possible." she acknowledged.
Suddenly, the Emotionless took notice of their presence, "Uh-oh..." Anne uttered in dread, "... they spotted us." she announced, "Should we fight them?" she asked.
Sasha tried to grab her weapons but only to realize that it's gone, "Dang it!" she cursed, "We left our weapons back in Amphibia!" she pointed out.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about it..." Anne uttered in realization, "... guess we had no choice but to flee." she beckoned.
"Our best option at the moment." Marcy said in agreement.
Before either sides could make their respective moves, they were all interrupted a loud shout.
"TARGET SIGHTED!" the voice announced, "TAKE THEM ALL DOWN, TEAM!" it beckoned.
Suddenly, a group of twelve figures jumps out from a nearby rocky platform and upon landing gracefully on the ground, they quickly charges towards the creatures.
The group consists of Ayame Shaga, Duncan "Firebreather" Rosenblatt, Jeet Rage, Juugo Yama, Kurapika, Louise Francoise Le Blanca Dela Valliere, Lyndel Flamburge, Mai Tokiha, Noelle Fyne, Saito Hiraga, Samui and You Satou, and they are collectively known as the Pact.
"Prepare of im-PACT!" Juugo declared.

Juugo brought out a golden-colored pen-like object from his left pocket before stabbing it on the ground, suddenly the ground shoots out a number of golden-colored chains which immediately binded his targets.
"Everyone! Take them down now!" Juugo called out.
Saito swung his sword, Derfflinger, and began to slice and decapitate every bounded Emotionless he could see, "Yaaaaaahhh!" he roared before slicing another creature on half, Saito then brought out his SIG Sauer P226 and began shooting some Emotionless on the head, killing them.
Louise brought out her wand and pointed it towards the Emotionless, "Die before me, you pheasants!" she exclaimed with her wand glowing, "Explosion!" she chanted as her targets exploded into black smoke one by one.
Samui brought out her tanto, filling it with her chakra as she began in striking down every Emotionless on her path while kicking them at the same time.
Mai activated her element as a set of 4 golden rings with magatama appears around her wrists and ankles, "Take this!" she beckoned, "HAAAA!" she bellowed before unleashing a ring of fire towards her targets, making them explode and burn into crisps, "All right!" she cheered.
Kurapika uses a pair of bokkens to strike down his targets while delivering some painful kicks at the same time, he then unleashes a long line of chain, wrapping on one Emotionless before slamming it down numerous times on the ground.
Jeet tackles down one Emotionless and began bashing the creature with his fist, he then stood up and grabs the creature from behind and quickly delivers a powerful German Suplex. He then noticed another Emotionless charging towards him, Jeet then ignites his hand with flames, "Burn!" he roared before unleashing a wave of fire towards the creature, burning it ashes.
Ayame jumps forward and kicks one Emotionless by the head before kicking another one, the impact of her kick sends the creature crashing towards it's companions, Ayame then hops over another creature and delivered a spinning wheel kick on two Emotionless, knocking them down.
"Graaagh!" You roared while punching every Emotionless in sight, the impact of his punches were more than enough to blow their heads to bits, "I'm not done yet!" he bellowed by kneeing one creature across it's jaw which sends it crashing to the ground before following it with a bloody stomp to it's face.
Noelle shakingly looks around before letting out a loud gulp, "G-G-G-Get away from me!" she cried out loud while pointing a hand upwards when a large sum of bright light was shot up to the sky, "Tuiteam Draoidheil!" she chanted in panic with the bright light forming into a sphere before shooting magical beams towards the creatures, killing them one by one via exploding with every shots.
As this is going on, Lyndel calmly walks towards another group of Emotionless with narrowed eyes, "Kneel before your queen!" she ordered as numerous card decks floats around her, spiraling in circle, she then extended her right hand forward, "Punishment!" she shouted before the cards flew towards her targets, raining on them and grazing them by the sharpness of the attacks, dismembering their limbs and decapitating heads on the process.
Saito and Juugo then took notice of a mammoth-based Emotionless making it's way towards them, "We got inbound!" the latter alerted.
Duncan then steps forward, "Leave this to me." he volunteered before grabbing a boulder which is four times his size, "I am, after all, a son of a Kaiju!" he roared before throwing the boulders towards the gigantic Emotionless.
The boulder smashes on the creature's head, dazing it a bit, Duncan then flew forward in extreme speed before delivering a powerful punch which was enough for the creature to backpedal, Duncan continues to unleash a fury of hard-hitting punch to the creature before grabbing it trunk, he then proceeds to spin the large creature around and around, and with all his might, he threw the Emotionless into the sky.
Duncan watches the creature go up before taking a deep breath, he then let's out a giant fireball and aimed towards the falling Emotionless, the fireball hits it's target which causes a huge explosion, blasting the Emotionless into pieces.
As this is going on, Anne, Marcy and Sasha can't help but watch them in awe with Marcy's eyes sparkling in excitement.
"Woah..." Anne uttered, "... look at these guys go." she beckoned.
"J-Just who are these people?" Sasha asked.
"I don't know but I'm glad for their arrival." Anne admitted.
"They're so awesome!" Marcy cheered in excitement, "Do you guys see how they fought those things?!" she pointed out.
"Kinda hard not to look away from all the brutality going on." Sasha replied in a dull tone.
After every Emotionless are defeated by the team, the group took a short time for a breather to regain their strength and afterwards, they decided to approach the Calamity Trio.
"You girls okay?" Ayame asked.
Anne nodded in response, "Yeah, we're fine." she replied, "Thanks for helping us, by the way." she expressed in gratitude.
"You guys were so cool!" Marcy complimented the team in excitement to which surprised them on the process, "Watching you guys fight those creatures really amazed me!" she admitted, "How do you guys do it?" she asked, "Do you guys used magic? Do you have some sort of unique superpowers? Or are you just extremely strong?!" she bombarded them with questions to which made the team recoil in discomfort.
Sasha then responded by pulling Marcy away, "That's enough, Marcy." she advised, "You're weirding them out." she pointed out, "Sorry about that." she apologized, "Marcy is a kind of a geek." she reasoned.
"No worries." Samui reassured, "We do have a friend that reminds us of your friend a bit." she stated while thinking of a green-haired boy with a penchant for superheroes.
Lyndel crossed her arms, "But what are you girls doing here?" she asked, "I'm pretty sure this world is devoid of human life." she recalled.
"Devoid of human life?!" Anne, Marcy and Sasha exclaimed in shock.
You rubs the back of his head, "Judging by their faces, I guess it's safe to assume that they're not from this world." he concluded.
"What gave you the idea?" Kurapika questioned with a blank look.
"Can you girls tell us how you got here?" Mai inquired.
And with that, the Calamity Trio proceeds to explained all of their experiences in Amphibia and in turn, the members of Pact explains to them about the Heroes Coalitions and the existence of the multiverse.
"So, you girls were transported to a world called Amphibia and after your business there concluded, you decided to head back home but found yourselves here instead." Samui summarized.
"Pretty much." Anne confirmed.
"And you guys came from different parts of the multiverse and are members of a heroic organization!" Marcy pointed out in awe, "That is so cool!" she cheered, "It's like a fanfiction crossover dream come true!" she described.
"In-universe wise." Saito stated while scrolling down a certain site on his phone.
"Wow..." Sasha uttered, "... and here I thought Andrias' claims about the multiverse is nothing more but a bogus however it turns out to be real after all." she stated.
"Yeah." Anne uttered in agreement.
"Since you girls are having a tough time getting back to your home world..." Duncan pointed out, "... I suggest that you come with us to Neo-City." he suggested, "You can stay there for the time being until we can find a way to send you back home." he explained.
"R-Really?" Marcy asked in surprise.
Lyndel nodded in response, "Indeed." she confirmed, "A lot of our friends had been through different parts of the multiverse and there is a possibility that they've been in yours." she explained, "The Science and Research Department just needs to scan one of you for some coordinates, so they can detect which world you came from." she concluded.
"Really?" Marcy asked in awe, "That's awesome!" she cheered before turning to her companions, "So, what do you girls think?" she asked, "Should we go with them?" she beckoned.
"Looking at our current situation..." Anne pointed out, "... coming with them is our best option at the moment." she admitted.
"It's better than staying here for who knows how long." Sasha added.
"Sweet!" Marcy cheered, "I'm so excited!" she exclaimed in glee, "As much as I love to get back home right now but I do look forward visiting another world and meeting new people!" she explained in excitement.
"I-I'm worried on how she'll react once we got back in Neo-City." Noelle uttered in concern.
"I was thinking the same thing." Louise replied in agreement.
Duncan chuckled in amusement, "Then let's head back to Neo-City!" he beckoned with a smile.
