It's been a couple of hours since Kathy left her office and Olivia has not stopped pacing. He told Elliot he would have your badge if he didn't do what he asked. That son of a bitch. He played her. He's been playing her. All this time she believed what they had was real. She let him in her home, near her son.

"Olivia." She was so lost in thought she failed to hear the door of her office opening. "I tried to give you a couple of hours but I can't. You're scaring me what's going on?"

She felt her anger rise and her pacing sped up. "That son of a bitch lied to me. All these years. In the past months, he dared to try and convince me to retire with him. He must've planned this for years and the shooting gave him the exact ammo he needed. That son of a bitch." She turned her heel toward Fin and he stopped her in her tracks.

"Stop. Take a breath and tell me what the hell you're talking about right now." Looking at her confidant the only person who never left she took a couple of breaths. As she calmed down she felt the tears burning in her eyes. "Baby girl, what happened?"

"He forced Elliot to walk away from me. Forced him undercover. After Elliot shot Jenna he combed Ed combed through his file. Told Elliot he was toxic and doing more negative than good. That bastard told him he was a cop like his father." The two friends stared at each other while the tears streamed down her face. "He played me." The tremble in her voice broke Fin and he pulled her into his arms.

After a while, a knock on the door pulled the two apart. Standing in the door was the devil himself. "Hey Babe. Am I interrupting something?" The air in the room thickened as Fin stiffened next to her. Rushing to keep him from snapping she spoke out. "No. Fin was just leaving. Actually. It's been slow today. You guys can duck out for the day." Olivia and Ed stood there as Fin exited. Once the door closed he moved toward her, reaching for her.

To his surprise, she sidestepped out of his direction. She put her focus out to the squad room and watched as her squad exited one by one. The second her Sergeant turned out the squad room she raised her fist and brought it straight to the face of Ed Tucker. The moment her fist met his face the unmistakable sound of bones breaking can be heard throughout the room. "Olivia what the fuck?!" He took a step toward her with one hand on his face as blood was pooling through his fingers.

"Noah's spending the night up with Lucy and her family upstate. I'm going to give you two hours and I want all of your shit out of my house. Leave my key on the table and when I get back I want there to be no trace of your presence." He shook his head as if he was trying to understand the situation. "You really didn't think that Elliot would just stay away forever right? The day you watched as they carried him battered and bruised because they found out he was a cop. You didn't think he would just stay away. He nearly died because of you and your vendetta. I know you forced him undercover after Jenna. I don't know much but I know I'm down with you."

Reaching across her desk she gathered her things before grabbing the photos she took apart. Dropping the pictures at his feet she picked up her purse. "You're bleeding all over my floor." Olivia turned on her heel without allowing a response.

She rocked on her feet nervous about seeing Elliot again. She hadn't exactly given him a warm response and he left in tears while she left with the man that ruined his life.

After Olivia finally calmed Kathy looked gave her a sad look before reaching for her hand. "It's not my place to go in-depth about what Elliot went through but you deserved the truth."

Olivia watched through her tears as the other woman nervously looked around. "His scars are from the incident. He's come a long way in recovery but only physically. He's trying to he's not putting in the work. Please don't let that change how you feel. He is still Elliot."

Kathy felt the tears streaming down her face now. They've come so far since high school. He was her best friend and now that they've finally accepted being better apart her heart is hurting knowing he's not truly working on himself.

"Kathy know this. Elliot and I never did anything in the years we were partnered up but I do love him and when I saw him I knew these years apart didn't change that and I'll never stop loving him, especially over his scars."

She was deep in her thoughts she didn't realize the door was now open. Finally looking at him without the pain and anger she felt the week prior had the tears rushing forward. He was still Elliot however he had a scar that ran from his ear to the top of his lip. He arms were littered with different scar imprints. She almost lost him because of Ed Tucker. He almost died and the first time he saw her again she slapped him.

The sob comes before she can stop it and they're engulfed in each other's arms. "I'm so sorry El. Oh god. I'm so sorry." The tears weren't stopping and it seemed like he couldn't get close enough. Her thoughts had long gone and she felt herself clawing at him trying to get closer.

Effortlessly he picks her up and brings them to the couch reclining them both slightly. Placing one hand on her head and one on her back he pulled her even closer.

In the corner of the room at the entryway behind the two stood Kathy and Danny. Kathy wiped at her face when the two tried to comfort each other while still reeling in their pain.

In the quiet house, the three heard the brunette "I love you El."
