3rd May, 1915
Rose woke up to the sound of Emilia calling for her "mamamama!" she shouted from her own bedroom. Rose yawned as she dragged herself out of bed, wrapping her dressing gown around her as she headed to Emilia's room.
"Good morning!" She smiled at Emilia. "Up please" Emilia yawned and held her arms up, making Rose chuckle. She lifted her up and smiled to herself as Emilia rested her head on her shoulder. "Let's go and get some breakfast, hmm?" Rose said as she carried Emilia out of her bedroom. She had moved house not long after Emilia was born, so she would be able to give her her own bedroom- something it turned out that Rose was more grateful than she thought she would be about.
She placed Emilia in her high chair as she made her some toast, before placing it down in front of her. "There we go" Rose smiled as her as she sat down at the table too, beginning to eat her breakfast also. Emilia ate a few of the small squares that Rose had cut the toast in to before she began to play with her food rather than eat it, throwing a small piece on the floor. "Emmy" Rose said firmly and raised an eyebrow "don't throw" she continued. Emilia frowned back at her, trying to force herself to cry- just like Rose, she was quite the actress. Rose chuckled to herself "you can turn on the water works all you want Mrs, you're not throwing toast around the kitchen" she smirked at her before standing up "come on, eat up, we need to leave soon" Rose said as she stroked Emilia's cheek before walking over to the sink to wash her plate.
Rose began getting Emilia dressed after she had finished breakfast. "Park?" Emilia asked. "No darling, mummy has to go to work. You're going to Marie's house today" Rose smiled gently at her. At the minute, Rose was working almost everyday, whether it was for a few hours or the full day, she would still feel guilty for leaving Emilia. Emilia looked up at her sadly "I tell you what, when I pick you up, we'll go to the park then, OK?" Rose said as she buttoned up Emilia's cardigan. Emilia nodded as Rose stood up "good girl" she said as she kissed her head. "Come on" she smiled and lifted her up and headed to the front door before heading to Marie's.

Once Rose has dropped Emilia off with Marie, she headed off to work.
"Morning Tom" she smiled as she walked in to the backstage area. "Good morning Rose" Tom smiled back. "I wanted to talk to you quickly" he continued. "OK?" Rose said, her voice sounded a little uneasy. "Obviously our new production starts next month, I was just wondering if you would like to audition for the lead?" "Oh… I don't know, Tom. It would mean being away from Emilia in the evenings, I'm not sure how she'd cope with that. I don't have anyone to watch her then either" Rose said disappointed. Her plan since she got her job at the theatre was to get in to the acting side of things, but all her plans had changed when she found out she was pregnant and gave birth to Emilia- something she wouldn't change for the world, but she was still disappointed that it had meant putting her carer plans on hold.
"Well, no pressure. Go away and think about it if you like, but you would have the days free to spend with Emilia" Tom smiled. "Thank you…" Rose replied. "I'll pass you over a copy of the script once the printers send it over, you might not even like the sound of the role" Tom chuckled. "Thank you" Rose smiled gratefully.
