"Sonic! Sonic!" Tails reached to Sonic.

"Sonic! Sonic!" Classic Tails reached to Classic Sonic.

"Ugh..." Sonic woke up. "Tails...?"

Classic Sonic woke up, still feeling fuzzy from the fall. Both Sonics got up, confused as to where exactly.

"Guy... again? Welcome back." Sonic noticed his past version. "Hello, from the future."

"Well... looks like Team Superstars' dropped down to this twisted version of Green Hill then." Tails mumbled.

"What!? Green Hill!?" Sonics are shocked.

"Uh... this place feel strange, yet familiar..." Classic Tails is confused. "Well, we're gonna check out the others."

The Avatar walked by, clearly confused about the place. However, they saw the two pairs and is relieved.

"Former Rookie, I'm glad you came by." Sonic patted the Avatar. "Oh, where's your Wispon?"

The Avatar shrugged, showing their Wispon got lost along the way.

"Oh well... At least we can still run!" Sonic chuckles. "Let's get back to Team Superstars, and-"

Suddenly, a projection of the hedgehog appeared before the five.

"Welcome to Glitched Hill." The hedgehog greeted. "All but one part of my vastly infinite playground."

"Hey! Wait... you sound like me. And judging by your silhouette..." Sonic spotted the projection. "You look like me... or Shadow."

"Yes, but a long story." The hedgehog smirked. "Welcome to your suffering. Welcome to the shatter."

"Who exactly are you!?" Classic Tails called the hedgehog out.

"Yeah! Why do you be like Sonic!?" Tails questioned. "Are you even like him!?"

"Other than what Sonic said and the spin dashes, we're nothing alike." The hedgehog responded with disdain. "Tailses... why do you reject me?"

"Uh, we don't even know exactly who you are." Tails pointed it out. "To all of us, you're an outside-context guy."

"I don't care. With the overclocked Phantom Ruby tuning in the Paradox Prism, there's nothing I can't do." The hedgehog explained his powers. "I was able to seize the Chaos Council and so much more."

"Chaos Council? Paradox Prism? Overclocked?" Sonic is confused. "What?"

"With the two crystalline powers, I will shatter all of this multiverse. Everything in it will bow down to me." The hedgehog continued. "I do that to get back on you for denying my existence!"

"I never even knew you existed at all. To me, you may just be an evil version of me..." Sonic picked on the hedgehog's mystery.

"SILENCE!" The hedgehog yelled. "You cannot escape from my greatness, no matter how fast you are! You and your associates shall pay for everything about me!"

"You can't be serious." Sonic facepalmed.

"Sonic's right." Tails agreed. "And who are you?"

Classic Sonic nodded.

"Yeah, guy. And... where's my chili dogs?" Sonic responded.

"I HATE CHILI DOG! It remind me of YOUR EXISTENCE!" The hedgehog yelled again.

"Where's our friends?" The Tailses immediately cut to the chase.

"Scattered across Glitched Hill." The hedgehog dismissively shrugged. "I'm going to call them. They will know my wrath, and you too, once I begin..."

But the five ran and split their formation, to get to the others.

"Ugh... this is absolutely freaked out!" Dr. Robotnik got up. "Future... oooh, who's your girl?"

"Ugh... Meet Sage, my AI daughter. She and the hedgehog saved the universe together, and I... have come to-" Eggman explained.

"Pleased to meet you, past father. I am Sage." Sage bowed to Robotnik.

"Father? I am? Your father?" Robotnik gets suspicious. "Why is this girl so strange?"

"I'm your future, and she's my daughter!" Eggman called his past version out. "Treat her with care!"

"Where's Orbot, Cubot, my brothers?" Sage realized Orobot and Cubot are missing.

"What?" The Eggmen finally realized.

"And on an additional note, we're in a corrupted version of the Green Hill." Sage continued.

Sonic arrived, and is surprised to see Robotnik talking to Sage.

"You again? So two of you... Sage, it's me!" Sonic noticed.

"Sonic, this is..." Sage have no idea what exactly is the Glitched Hill. "...not on my database. Not at all."

"We're all in Glitched Hill." Sonic revealed. "Green Hill's corrupted. Now this is the place. Oh, and-"

The projection of the hedgehog appeared behind the Eggmen.

"Hey, my impersonator!" Sonic called the hedgehog out at the spot.

"What!?" The others noticed.

"Hello, two versions of that bulbous doctor. And that cute little AI." The hedgehog greeted them. "Oh, and you again, Sonic?"

"You look and sound like the hedgehog!" Eggman pointed it out. "Are you some version of Sonic the blue?"

"Sonic is ours. Leave." Sage threatened the hedgehog. "We have nothing to do with you, false Sonic."

"I'm not false. I AM REAL!" The hedgehog countered the threat. "And you dare to question my powers!? I can erase all of you at any time! The only reason I didn't do that yet is because there's too many worlds and timelines on the table as we speak!"

"Sage's right. Are you sure you even deserve to exist as you are." Robotnik agreed.

"Yeah, and... what is Paradox Prism?" Sonic asked.

"Paradox Prism? I thought you knew it already." The hedgehog mistook Sonic for the latter's Prime-counterpart. "Or have you forgotten?"

"I never heard of that until you told me!" Sonic corrected. "Check your logs!"

"Bruh, fine!" The hedgehog is frustrated. "It's a reality crystal made of five chunky shards, colored red, green, blue, yellow, and purple. Red for tech, green for plants and flora, blue for tempest, yellow for ghosts and some, and purple for creation. Combined, the Prism can manipulate space-time and shift dimensions, and so much more."

"So you're combining it with the Phantom Ruby..." Sonic figured it out.

"Phantom Ruby, virtual reality manipulation, and all the illusions." The hedgehog continued. "However, it recharges between large-scale uses, let alone universal ones, forget about multiverse. Another weakness was only projecting illusions to manipulate virtual reality, instead of breaching reality at own mind."

"Yeah, so how did you even riff the Paradox Prism and shatter the Green Hill?" Eggman questioned.

"Thanks to a version of the Metal Sonic from an alternative timeline, the limitations I mentioned were removed." The hedgehog continued. "Even better... after Neo Metal and Overclocked Infinite were done for, the overclocked Phantom Ruby disappeared from that timeline, and..."

-*flashback*

"Huh?! Shadow?!" Eggman of the Prime timeline is shocked at Shadow's arrival.

"I am the ultimate life form." Prime!Shadow, on top of the Prism. "I go wherever I want."

"Whuh?" Said the doctor.

"Chaos Control!" Prime!Shadow uses the Chaos Emerald, teleporting the Prism away.

"NOO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

And so, the Prism is away from Prime!Eggman's reach. Shadow carries the Prism, and is about to stow it away from somewhere more secure.

"Well, thank you, Sonic. For holding the line." Prime!Shadow trying to locate the best storage for the job.

However, the dark hedgehog then found the overclocked Phantom Ruby on the ground. He gently drops the Prism down, and picked up the Ruby. Suddenly, a multiverse beyond the Shatterspaces is shown to Prime!Shadow. Not just his universe, but that multiverse, shattered by Prime!Sonic himself, with Prime!Shadow being one of the dead victims.

"What the!?" Prime!Shadow dropped the Ruby.

The Phantom Ruby fell down to near the Paradox Prism, and both started to glitch each other up.

"No!"

Prime!Shadow then tried to distance the Prism away, but is instead knocked away. And suddenly, a voice that resemble Sonic's has emerged.

"GET. ME. OUT!"

The landscape exploded into light blue shockwaves, spawning a lot of foreign things.

-*flashback ends*

"And so, I got free, coming in possession of the two crystals." The hedgehog continued. "I took over the Chaos Council, put the five of them in their places, and got to work on my revenge to all of this multiverse."

The story horrified the Eggmen and disgusted Sage.

"Oh, and one more thing!" The hedgehog concluded. "I also saw the timelines and reality thought to have been erased. Ideal place for my empire: Shatter Empire."

"You're a god!?" Sonic is shocked.

"Yeah! I AM A FUCKING GOD!" The hedgehog confirmed.

"Harsh words, alternate hedgehog!" Eggman called the hedgehog out.

"Silence, you arrogant egghead!" The hedgehog insulted back. "Your arrogance prevented you from fixing your genius! That's how you kept FAILING!"

"What the..." The Eggmen are offended by the response.

"Suckers, you'll pay with your own existence!" The projection disappeared.

"He'll not me. He's just my evil imitator." Sonic reassured.

"Well, let's find the others." Robotnik setup his cockpit. "Let's go!"

"I can scan the others." Sage searched.

The party went on to get to the others. In the meantime...

"Little guy, what do you want to say?" Shadow asked Classic Sonic.

Classic Sonic cannot speak, so he shrugged.

"Uh... you can't speak?" Shadow is confused.

"How do we know what do this little guy want to... uh..." Knuckles is confused as well.

"I can understand him. This me is a contemporary, so I know how to intepret him." Classic Knuckles pointed it out. "It appears someone's using overclocked Phantom Ruby and Paradox Prism. The Ruby creates and manipulate illusions, and overclocking allow it to graft said illusions into reality, with no need to recharge at all. The Prism is basically comprised of five shards: red for tech, green for plants and flora, blue for tempest manipulation, yellow for ghostly tricks, and purple for creation and transmutation. The full Prism itself can warp space-time. Combining the two is what led to the shattering we just went through."

"Oh... I see..." Shadow finally got it.

"So you now know what... huh, Shadow." The hedgehog appeared through a projection. "Wait... are you really the-"

"I am the ultimate life form. And... you look and sound like Sonic, based on your silhouette and voice." Shadow noticed. "Oh, and this is the first time I or my Sonic have ever heard of the Paradox Prism."

"I see... I thought the Sonic was the same one that Shadow had helped." The hedgehog realized. "So you came from an alternative timeline."

"Where. Is. Rouge? Omega?" Shadow cut to the chase.

"They disappeared while I was doing some multiversal errands." The hedgehog revealed. "If you really want to see them REAL bad, run."

"You sound... threatening." Shadow pointed it out.

"Also, why are you planning for... multiversal revenge?" Classic Knuckles questioned. "Like, have we done anything to you?"

"You denied my existence. That's all it takes for me to decide it's worth shattering." The hedgehog dismissively confirmed. "It's the first contact between the Phantom Ruby and the Paradox Prism that freed me. Now, shattering is my destiny. Though, I'm sure your other self would object."

"What?" Shadow heard it. "The... other me?"

"You have one choice and two options, the so-called ultimate life form." The hedgehog offered Shadow. "Either surrender, or be erased. Choose wisely, or else my lackeys and friends will hunt you. Same goes for everyone here."

"Finally! I found other survivors!" There was Sticks the Badger. "What's going on!?"

"Oh, hello Sticks the boomerang badger!" The hedgehog greeted Sticks. "Welcome to Glitched Hill!"

"This place... Glitched... Hill?" Sticks is shocked.

Classic Sonic nodded, before shaking her hand.

"Hello. Knuckles, little Knuckles, and me, Shadow. That little guy holding your hand? Sonic?" Shadow responded.

"Our Sonic is from the past. But whatever." Classic Knuckles shrugged.

Sticks pulled out her boomerang. "Who are you?!"

"A god who just happens to look and sound like Sonic the Hedgehog." The hedgehog smugly replied. "Your friend, Amy Rose, is on the other side. Good luck finding her... bitch."

Sticks is caught off guard by the response, especially the rude wording.

"Oh, and as for you, the so-called ultimate life form..." The hedgehog warned Shadow. "Your blood father is less than nothing to me. I AM A GOD." *disappears*

"Black... no." Shadow recalled his search from long ago.

"Shadow! Thanks goodness you're alive! Though to be fair, you're kinda ultimate life form, so..." Sonic arrived, alongside the Eggmen and Sage.

Classic Sonic hugged his future self, while the Eggmen called Shadow.

"Hey, we know what happened to the two crystals." Robotnik pointed the story.

"It's about the other version of you, dark hedgehog." Eggman explained. "That one used the Chaos Control with a Chaos Emerald to teleport the Prism away and prevent the initial shattering."

The Eggman explained everything the mysterious hedgehog told the party. Sage even revealed she's recorded the whole conversation.

"Oh... so your other self found the overclocked Ruby, eh?" Knuckles heard it. "Maybe we should breed the successor to Operation Big Wave, though we'll have to find the others."

Classic Sonic agreed and ran first.

"Hey! Meet Sage!" Sonic yelled.

Classic Sonic stopped, and turned back. He see Sage floating.

"So you're Sonic from the past." Sage scanned the little hedgehog. "Never thought I should see both versions in person."

"That's me from the past." Sonic explained. "Both met each other because we got involved with the Time Eater, because of the Eggmen. Your fathers!"

"We can't waste any more time though!" Classic Knuckles flew.

The party followed, in reuniting the Team Superstars. However, a kinda redheaded girl is spying on the party, unbeknownst to them.

"My lord, they're gathering their allies." The girl reported.

"Elise the Third." The hedgehog called. "Locate the rest with your inner Solaris. Once they all reunited, send the Grim Six to them."

"Yes, my lord. I will lead them to the checkpoint." Elise bowed.

"Oh, the checkpoint is the perfect bait!" The hedgehog chuckled. "The Grim Zeti will be stationed near there."

"Yes. At my service." Elise then turned to six robots vaguely resembling the Deadly Six. "Grim Zavok. Grim Zik, Grim Zazz. Grim Zomom. Grim Zeena. And Grim Zor. Go to the checkpoint, which I located. I will look at the party. Go, Zeti. GO!"

The Grim Six turned on, showing off their rage through their visors. Elise walked away to keep spying, while the Grim Zeti flew to the checkpoint and hid.
