Chapter 82: The Abandoned Pokémon
Hello everyone, this chapter will focus on the gang arriving on another island with Ash and Leaf taking on a battle competition, finding an abandoned Pokémon and encountering the Hexagon Brothers again. This is a long chapter and I hope you all enjoy.
The chapter begins the same day after the last one ended and it's currently nighttime. We head inside a building and see an explosion. When the explosion clears, we see 2 trainers battling each other while a man with a mustache is the referee, one trainer has a Pokémon named Herdier and the other trainer has a Pokémon named Tepig who's panting heavily as the Herdier trainer speaks.
"Looks like that Hyper Beam did a lot of damage to your Tepig it seems like it'll go down soon" The trainer says as the Tepig trainer speaks.
"Please my Tepig isn't done yet it can still battle right Tepig?!" The trainers says with Tepig nodding as it shoots out a small Ember from its nose and is ready to continue making the Herdier trainer smile as he speaks.
"Alright then here we come! Herdier use Giga Impact!" The Herdier trainer calls as the dog covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and heads for Tepig as its trainer speaks.
"Okay Tepig dodge then use Ember!" Tepig's trainer calls when Tepig goes to dodge it can't as it's still feeling the damage from the previous attack surprising its trainer as the Herdier trainer speaks.
"Now hit it Herdier!" "Tepig what are you doing!? Dodge!" Both trainers say as Herdier then hits Tepig creating an explosion as its trainer speaks.
"Tepig!" Tepig's trainer says as when the smoke clears everyone can see Herdier standing while looking at Tepig who's laying on the ground with its eyes closed seemingly knocked out. Just when the ref's about to call the battle in favor of the Herdier trainer Tepig opens its eyes and begins struggling to stand up, making his trainer happy as he speaks.
"Yes! That's it Tepig you're almost there!" Tepig's trainer says as Tepig manages to stand back up making its trainer smile but a couple seconds later Tepig then falls back on the ground and is knocked out showcasing that it's not going to stand up again as the ref speaks.
"Tepig's unable to battle Herdier's the winner! Seeing as contestant Shamus has no more Pokémon left this means that trainer John is the winner!" The ref says making John happy as he speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Herdier!" John says Herdier then runs over to John as John bends down and begins to pet the dog on the head while Herdier licks John on the face making him laugh. Meanwhile with Shamus he's surprised that he lost and begins to think.
"I lost? How?!" Shamus says to himself as he then looks at Tepig who begins walking over to him and begins to think.
"Oh, right it's your fault" Shamus says to himself while looking at Tepig. Shamus then comes out of his thoughts as John along with Herdier run over to them once they get close enough John looks at Shamus and speaks.
"Hey that was a great battle" John says as Shamus puts on a fake smile and agrees as he shakes John's hand. Once the handshake is done Shamus glares at Tepig making the pig sad as it feels as though it's in trouble. 10 minutes later Shamus walks out of the Pokémon Center once he does, he then pulls out the mon's Pokeball and sends it out. Once he does Tepig looks at Shamus as the boy speaks.
"As much as it pains me Tepig I'm releasing you" Shamus says surprising Tepig as Shamus continues.
"The reason is that you don't have any talent for battles, and it wouldn't be right for me to have a Pokémon with no talent to battle and end up getting hurt. So, I believe it's best for you to be free in the wild. So, long Tepig" Shamus says with a sad look on his face as he begins walking away, Tepig then runs over to Shamus and when it gets close enough Tepig tries to get Shamus to take it back as Shamus speaks.
"Tepig I already told you I'm not taking you back" Shamus says but Tepig still pleads to Shamus making Shamus slightly annoyed. Shamus then sees a pole nearby and gets an idea. Shamus picks up Tepig walks over to the pull puts Tepig next to the pole then takes out some rope from his backpack and ties it around the pole and Tepig's neck. Shamus then speaks.
"There with this you won't be able to follow me and as I was saying before I'm sorry Tepig and take care" Shamus says as he begins to walk away, as he's walking away Tepig cries out to Shamus with tears coming out of its eyes telling Shamus to take it back, but Shamus continues to walk away. Once Shamus gets far enough to where he can't hear Tepig anymore he smirks and speaks.
"Ah! I'm finally away from that talentless Tepig and now it's time for me to find a new Tepig that has more talent. Wait a minute instead of looking for another Tepig I should find an Emboar instead because that way I wouldn't have to waste anytime training it from its beginning stage as it'd already be fully evolved" Shamus says to himself while smiling as he continues to walk. We now come back to Tepig who's still trying to run after Shamus, but the rope is stopping it, as Tepig continues to yell the man who was refereeing Shamus's and John's battle appears he sees the tied up Tepig and speaks.
"You're that trainers Tepig why're you tied up? Hang on I'll help you!" The man says as he begins running over to Tepig, Tepig continues to pull the rope harder and harder until it eventually snaps. Once it does Tepig begins running after Shamus (the rope also ties around its nose) the man continues to run after Tepig but eventually loses sight of the fire pig as it's long gone. We then see Tepig running around trying to find Shamus by calling his name but unbeknownst to Tepig Shamus is currently on a boat that's already far away from the island. Throughout the night Tepig continues to run looking for its trainer and even falls into a mud puddle that turns its fur black. As Tepig's running it accidentally runs into 4 people wearing colored outfits that consists of purple, brown, green, and yellow. The 4 trainers mistake Tepig for an Umbreon and try to catch it causing Tepig to run away. The 4 trainers chase Tepig for 20 minutes until Tepig eventually loses them and is now back at the building where it battled at earlier. Tepig's now starting to get sleepy not wanting to stay outside in case those trainers appear again Tepig finds a storage room that's opened and goes inside it. Once Tepig's inside it finds a spot to hide itself and begins trying to go asleep. Meanwhile, outside of the storage room we see the 4 trainers that were going after Tepig as the green one speaks.
"Are you sure it went this way Yellosix?" The one in green asks as Yellosix speaks.
"Of course, I'm sure Greesix and Browsix saw it come this way too" Yellosix responds with Browsix agreeing as Greesix then looks at the one in purple and speaks.
"What do you think Purpsix? Should we continue to look? Because it's starting to get late" Greesix asks as Purpsix speaks.
"Sigh as much as I want to capture that Umbreon you're right Greesix it's starting to get late we'll continue our search tomorrow" Purpsix says with the 3 men agreeing as they then leave heading back to their building to sleep. Once they're gone, we see Tepig who's now fully asleep but has tears in its eyes as it wants to see Shamus again. It is now the next day we see the group still riding on Lapras's back as Leaf speaks.
"I see an island!" Leaf says making everyone look forward as they see the island too making them smile as Tracey speaks.
"Hopefully this islands Pokémon Center has a Poke Mart as we need to stock up on supplies" Tracey says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.
"I also want to buy some more snacks for Togepi" Misty says as she looks at Togepi playing with an empty bag that had its snacks in it Ash speaks.
"Okay Lapras full speed ahead!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say with Lapras nodding as she begins to swim faster. Once Lapras reaches the island the group get off her back and tell her thank you as Ash then returns Lapras back to her Pokeball. After that the group then head toward the nearest Pokémon Center. When they go inside, they see that there's a Poke Mart. Tracey along with Misty go over to buy some supplies and tell Ash and Leaf that they'll be done soon. While Ash and Leaf are waiting Leaf sees something out of the corner of her eye she walks over to it, reads it, smiles then looks at Ash and speaks.
"Hey Ash come over here!" Leaf says making Ash walk over, when Ash makes it, he looks at Leaf and speaks.
"What is it Leaf?" Ash asks as Leaf speaks.
"Look at this poster it says that on this island there's something called the Don George tournament where if you win 3 battles in a row you get the chance of getting a shiny charm which increases the chance of finding shiny Pokémon!" Leaf says excitedly making Ash excited too as he speaks.
"Wow that sounds cool! I want to try and get that shiny charm I'm definitely going to compete!" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing Leaf speaks.
"We'll you'll have to beat me first" Leaf says while having a confident look on her face while Ash along with Pikachu look at her. A couple seconds later we see Misty along with Tracey walking over to them as Tracey speaks.
"Okay we got enough supplies that'll last us for a while" Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"And I've enough snacks for not just Togepi but for my other Pokémon too" Misty says with Tracey nodding. Once they reach Ash and Leaf Tracey looks at them and speaks.
"Sorry for the wait but we've everything we need so we can go now" Tracey says with Misty agreeing. Ash, Pikachu, and Leaf then look at them having stars in their eyes as Tracey speaks.
"Um is something wrong with them?" Tracey asks as Misty speaks.
"I know those looks" Misty says while having a nervous look on her face making Tracey confused as Ash and Leaf speak.
"We can't leave yet! We're going to compete in a Don George Tournament and Win a Shiny Charm!" "Pika!" The 2 kids along with Pikachu say excitedly. Tracey's surprised while Misty lets out a sigh and speaks.
"Of course…" Misty says while Togepi laughs. After Ash and Leaf calm down, they explain to Misty and Tracey that if they compete in this small tournament, they'll be able to possibly win a shiny charm that could help increase their chances of finding shiny Pokémon. They also ask Misty and Tracey if they want to enter but they both decline as they're not interested in winning a shiny charm with Ash and Leaf nodding. A couple minutes later Ash along with Leaf head over to their own video phone where they contact either Daisy or Professor Oak. Leaf manages to contact Daisy while Ash manages to contact Prof. Oak. While Leaf's talking to Daisy we come over to Ash as he explained the situation to the man as Oak speaks.
"A Shiny Charm you say? I've heard that you can find shiny Pokémon more often if you have it" Oak says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, and that's why I want to compete and win it. Seeing as Noctowl and Dratini are my only shiny Pokémon I've got the itch the capture another one and getting that Shiny Charm will help" Ash says with Oak nodding as he speaks.
"I see okay Ash so which Pokémon do you want me to send over?" Oak asks as Ash begins to speak.
"Let's see… I'll take Charizard, Gengar, Krookodile, Lee, and" Just when Ash's about to finish Muk appears on screen and begins to give Prof. Oak a hug as he speaks.
"It seems like Muk wants to go too" Oak says as Ash speaks.
"It's been a while since I've used Muk in a battle so can you please send over Muk too? And I'll send over Grovyle, Noivern, Primeape, Kingler, and Luxray" Ash says with Oak nodding as he goes to get the Pokémon ready. A couple minutes later Ash and Oak make the transfer and once the transfer's done Ash picks up the 5 balls, goes back to the screen and speaks.
"I got them safe and sound Prof. Oak" Ash says with Oak nodding as he speaks.
"The transfer was a success on my end as well and I wish you along with Leaf luck in the tournament Ash" Oak says with Ash nodding. Just when Oak's about to turn off the video phone in the background he hears some crunching noises. When he turns around, he sees that Ash's Dracovish has the GS ball in its mouth and is happily chewing on it. Oak has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"Dracovish wait that's not for eating! Daisy help me!" Oak yells as he along with Daisy begin to chase after Dracovish who runs away with the ball in its mouth thinking that it's a game and the video call ends. Ash along with Pikachu have worried looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Hopefully they're able to catch Dracovish" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing as they then hear a voice.
"Hey Ash, did you get the Pokémon you needed?" The voice says as Ash turns around and sees Leaf. Ash then smiles and speaks.
"Yep, I have them all right here and we're going to win. Right Pikachu?!" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing as it sparks its cheeks making Leaf excited. After that they meet up with Misty and Tracey and begin walking towards the building where the tournament will take place. 10 minutes later the group have made it to the building and walk inside. Once they're inside they see just how big it is as Leaf speaks.
"This place is huge!" Leaf says with the others nodding as they then hear a voice.
"Hello there!" The voice says as everyone turns around and see a big man with a mustache, he looks at the group and speaks.
"Are you all here entering the tournament?" The man asks as Ash speaks.
"Only me and my friend Leaf here are competing" Ash responds with the man nodding as he speaks.
"I see in that case allow me to introduce myself my name's Don George and I'm not only the battle manager here but also the one hosting the tournament" Don George says with the group nodding as Leaf speaks.
"So, where do we register for the tournament?" Leaf asks as Don George speaks.
"You register at the reception desk over there then once you're done you along with the other trainers will gather to the main battlefield" Don George says with Ash and Leaf nodding. After that Ash along with Leaf go to the reception desk and register for the tournament. Once they're done, they along with the other trainers gather at the main battlefield and are looking at Don George as he speaks.
"Now that you've all registered, I'll explain the rules. First off whoever you face will be randomized with this computer and you'll go to a different battlefield that has its own referee. The battles will be 2v2 double battles and you must win 3 battles in order to qualify for the finals. Then whoever is the winner of the finals shall win the Shiny Charm which will increase the chances of finding a shiny Pokémon. Do you all understand?" Don George says with the trainers nodding making the man happy as he speaks.
"Now then please look at the screen to see who your first opponent will be" Don George says as he presses a button that begins to randomize the images on the screen. Once the images stop it showcases who everyone will be facing as Don George speaks.
"Now please find your opponent and go to a battlefield to begin your battle" Don George says with the trainers nodding as they all begin to look for their respective opponent. Some trainers have found their opponent and already go to a battlefield Leaf then looks at Ash and speaks.
"Hey Ash, have you found your opponent yet?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.
"Yep, I'm facing someone named James what about you?" Ash asks as Leaf speaks.
"I also found my opponent and I'm going up against someone named Elise" Leaf responds with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Okay Leaf good luck and I'll see you in the finals" Ash says with Leaf nodding as they both smile at each other then head over to their respective battlefield. Once they make it Don George looks at the trainers and speaks.
"Seems like you've all found your opponents and made it to a battlefield. Now then I believe it's time for the battles to begin!" Don George says giving the refs on different battlefield to start the battles allowing the trainers to battle. We come over to Ash's battlefield the ref calls for the battle to begin as Ash's opponent James pulls out 2 Pokeball's and speaks.
"Garbodor, Scolipede come out!" James says as he throws the balls forward sending out the 2 mons who roar then wait for their opponents as Ash speaks.
"Who are those Pokémon?" Ash questions as he pulls out his Pokedex to scan them.
"Garbodor, the Trash Heap Pokémon and a pure Poison Type. Garbodor can absorb garbage into its body. When battling, it fires poison from its right arm and belches poison gas. Scolipede, the Megapede Pokémon and a Bug/Poison Type. Scolipede catches its opponents with great speed and attacks using horns on its head. Scolipede is highly aggressive and will not give up until victorious." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, they're both poison types in that case I'll use 2 poison types of my own" Ash says to himself as he pulls out 2 Pokeball's and speaks.
"Muk, Gengar I choose you!" Ash says he throws the 2 balls forward and sends out the 2 mons. Muk along with Gengar have excited looks on their faces and are ready to battle with James's Pokémon ready too. The ref calls for the battle to begin as James speaks.
"Let's attack first Garbodor use Sludge Bomb on Muk and Scolipede run forward!" James calls Garbodor begins firing multiple sludge bombs towards Muk while Scolipede begins running forward Ash calls for his commands.
"Gengar stop those Sludge Bombs with Psychic then send them back at Garbodor and Muk use Screech on Scolipede!" Ash calls Gengar fires the waves of Psychic energy, easily catches the sludge bombs then sends them back towards Garbodor. Muk let's out a loud Screech that stops Scolipede in its tracks and begins to lower its defense. Scolipede then sees Muk building up fire in its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Now Muk use Fire Blast!" "Garbodor quick knock away the Sludge Bombs with your arms then use Hyper Beam and Scolipede jump in the air to dodge!" James calls when the Sludge Bombs go to hit Garbodor the mon easily knocks them away with its arms then fires a big Hyper Beam. Meanwhile Muk fires a big blast of fire that goes to hit Scolipede but the bug manages to quickly jump in the air and dodges the attack as the Hyper Beam and Fire blast collide creating an explosion. Now that Scolipede's in the air suddenly Gengar appears in front of it and has its right fist ready as Ash speaks.
"Now Gengar use Ice Punch!" "Scolipede quick counter with Poison Tail!" Both trainers call Scolipede's unable to use Poison Tail in time as Gengar covers its right fist in ice and punches Scolipede hard in the face sending the mon crashing back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as James speaks.
"Scolipede!" James calls in worry as when the smoke clears Scolipede's lying on the ground and is knocked out surprising James as Ash speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Gengar!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu and Muk making Gengar smile as James speaks.
"Garbodor use Sludge Bomb on Gengar!" James calls Garbodor quickly fires the bombs of sludge towards Gengar as Ash speaks.
"Gengar dodge then use Psychic to hold Garbodor in place!" Ash calls Gengar manages to easily dodge the sludge bombs by moving to the left then fires the waves of psychic energy that hold Garbodor in place. Garbodor groans in pain from the super effective attack then looks forward and sees Muk charging up a Focus Blast as Ash speaks.
"Now Muk fire the Focus Blast!" "Get out of there Garbodor!" Both trainers call Muk roars as it finishes charging the Focus Blast and fires it at Garbodor. Garbodor's unable to dodge because of the psychic holding it in place as the Focus Blast then hits Garbodor creating an explosion as James speaks.
"Garbodor!" James calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Garbodor laying on its back knocked out as the ref makes the call.
"Both Garbodor and Scolipede are unable to battle making Muk and Gengar the winners! Seeing as contestant James has no more Pokémon left contestant Ash is the winner and will move onto the next round!" The ref calls making Ash happy as he speaks.
"Alright!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as they run on the battlefield and give Muk along with Gengar a hug as Ash speaks.
"I knew you guys could do it good job!" Ash says making Gengar and Muk smile. Muk then begins to happily consume Ash making everyone laugh. After that everyone hears an explosion, they look over and see that Leaf's Toucannon and Flamigo have defeated a Watchog and a Leavanny. The ref then makes the call.
"Contestant Elise's Pokémon are unable to battle making contestant Leaf and her Pokémon the winners! Contestant Leaf will also be allowed to advance!" The ref says making Leaf happy as she runs on the battlefield giving Toucannon and Flamigo a hug then speaks.
"Great job you too!" Leaf says with the 2-mons nodding. Off to the side Misty speaks.
"Looks like both Ash and Leaf won their first battles and will be able to advance." Misty says with Tracey nodding while Togepi cheers for Ash and Leaf. Meanwhile Ash and Leaf look at each other and smile. After that the next round starts Ash was able to easily defeat his opponents Carracosta and Zebstrika while using Krookodile and Lee. Leaf also easily defeated her opponents Pokémon who used a Swanna and Frillish while Leaf used Boltund and Greavard. It's now Ash and Leaf's third and final match where they must defeat their opponent in order to make it to the final. Once Ash and Leaf find their respective opponent the battles begin. We come over to Ash's battle as he's battling a trainer named John who appeared earlier in the chapter. John is using his Herdier and Samurott while Ash's using Pikachu and Charizard. We zoom in on the battle and see Pikachu and Herdier clash with Wild Charge and Giga Impact respectively creating an explosion. The 2 mons appear out of the explosion and slide away from each other as John speaks.
"Samurott use Aqua Jet on Charizard!" "Charizard counter with Thunder Punch!" Both trainers call Samurott covers its body in water and shoots forward heading for Charizard. Charizard covers its right fist in electricity and counters Samurott's attack. The 2-mons begin pushing each other back and forth for a little bit until Charizard manages to knock Samurott away making the mon slide back a few feet away. Suddenly Herdier appears in front of Charizard and has its teeth ready as John speaks.
"Now use Thunder Fang!" John calls Herdier covers its teeth in electricity and goes to bite Charizard as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Quick Attack then Iron Tail to send Herdier flying!" Ash calls Pikachu shoots forward and manages to hit Herdier in the face stopping the mon in its tracks before it could bite Charizard. Pikachu then covers its tail in steel energy and sends Herdier high in the air as John speaks.
"Samurott quick use Aqua Jet to grab Herdier!" "Pikachu use Wild Charge!" Both trainers call Samurott covers its body in water and begins heading towards Herdier. But Pikachu quickly covers its body in electricity shoots forward and hits Samurott on the right side making the mon crash back down on the battlefield. Meanwhile, up in the air Charizard has made it to Herdier as Ash speaks.
"Charizard use Seismic Toss and throw Herdier at Samurott!" Ash calls as Charizard nods. Charizard grabs Herdier and begins spinning the mon fast until it lets go. Herdier then crashes into Samurott who was in the process of standing back up, the 2-mons groan in pain as they then look forward and see Pikachu sparking its cheeks and Charizard heating up its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Now Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Charizard use Flamethrower!" Ash calls before John can tell his Pokémon to dodge Pikachu and Charizard fire their attacks that combine into one big beam and hit Herdier and Samurott creating an explosion as John speaks.
"Herdier, Samurott!" John yells in worry. When the smoke clears everyone can see that the 2-mons are both knocked out. The ref then makes the call.
"Herdier and Samurott are unable to battle making Pikachu and Charizard the winners!" Seeing as contestant John has no more Pokémon left this means that contestant Ash is the winner and will move onto the finals!" The ref says making Ash happy as he speaks.
"We did it!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu and Charizard. On the other side of the battlefield John's surprised that he lost but smiles and returns his Pokémon telling them good job. John then walks over to Ash who's celebrating with his Pokémon then speaks.
"That was a great battle you gave my Pokémon and I and good luck in the finals" John says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Thanks, and my Pokémon and I enjoyed the battle too" Ash says with Pikachu and Charizard nodding making John smile. After that everyone hears an explosion where Leaf's having her battle, everyone looks over and sees the smoke. When the smoke clears everyone sees Leaf's Venusaur and shiny Krookodile standing over an unconscious Hydreigon and Excadrill as the ref speaks.
"Hydreigon and Excadrill are unable to battle making Venusaur and Krookodile the winners! Seeing as contestant Emily has no more Pokémon left contestant Leaf is the winner and is our second finalist!" The ref says making Leaf happy as she speaks.
"Yeah!" Leaf cheers as she runs on the battlefield and give Venusaur along with Krookodile a hug telling the 2-mons good job as they smile. Off to the side Misty speaks.
"Looks like Ash and Leaf have made it to the finals" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"I had a feeling that they were going to make it" Tracey says with Misty nodding. After that Ash and Leaf are now standing next to each other and are looking at Don George as he speaks.
"Well done on making it to the finals you 2 your battle shall take place in 20 minutes giving yourselves along with your Pokémon sometime to rest." Don George says with the two kids nodding as they return their Pokémon and go meet up with Misty and Tracey who congratulate them on making it to the finals. The group then begin heading toward the cafeteria to rest and have some food. We now come out of the building and go into one of the storage rooms. Inside the storage room we see the Tepig from earlier in the chapter who's now just woken up from its slumber, during the night Tepig could barely get any sleep as it was thinking about Shamus. Tepig wants to hurry and find Shamus, but its stomach is growling showcasing that it's hungry. Seeing it needs to eat Tepig makes its way out the storage room, makes sure that no one's nearby and begins to walk. As Tepig's walking it begins to smell something good, Tepig follows the scent until it reaches a window. Tepig looks through the window and sees the group along with their Pokémon (Misty's Pokémon are Vaporeon, Golisopod, Seadra, Psyduck, Slowpoke and Milotic) happily having lunch. As Tepig's watching them it remembers the times whenever it and Shamus ate lunch together making Tepig sad again while its stomach growled. Meanwhile, inside the cafeteria the ears of Ash's Pokémon perk up making them stop eating as they look towards the window making Ash confused as he speaks.
"What's wrong guys?" Ash asks as he along with everyone else look at the window too once they do they see the dirty Tepig as Misty speaks.
"Is that a Pokémon?" Misty asks as Tracey speaks.
"It sort of looks like a Umbreon" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"An Umbreon? Cool! Maybe it's hungry" Leaf says with the group nodding as Ash along with his Pokémon begin walking towards the window. As they're walking Tepig's getting scared and is about to run away but gets the feeling that this trainer along with his Pokémon won't hurt it. Once Ash and his Pokémon get close enough Ash looks at the mon and speaks.
"Hey, you look like you're starving do you want to join us? We have plenty of food" Ash asks having a smile on his face with his Pokémon having a smile too as Tepig looks at them. Just when Tepig's about to answer them it hears a voice.
"There it is!" The voice says making Tepig turn around as it sees the 4 men in Purple, Yellow, Brown, and Green outfits who were chasing it last night again. The one in green speaks.
"You were right Browsix it was still here" Greesix says with Browsix nodding as Purpsix speaks.
"And now that we've found it, it's not getting away Go Tentacruel!" Purpsix says as he throws the ball forward sending the mon out then calls for a command.
"Now use Hydro Pump!" Purpsix says as Tentacruel fires the big stream of water it goes to hit Tepig but the mon manages to dodge in time as the Hydro Pump hits the window causing it to explode as Misty, Leaf, and Tracey speak.
"Ash!" The 3 kids say as they along with their Pokémon run over to check on Ash and his Pokémon. Meanwhile, outside of the building Tepig starts running away as Yellosix speaks.
"It's getting away!" Yellosix says as Purpsix speaks.
"Let's go after it!" Purpsix says with his 3 brothers nodding as they begin running after Tepig. We now go back inside the building and see Don George running towards the cafeteria. Once he makes it, he looks at the group and speaks.
"Are you kids okay?!" Don George asks with the group nodding as he speaks.
"What happened here?" Don George asks as Leaf speaks.
"Well, there was this Pokémon that looked like an Umbreon that came towards the window and it looked hungry. When Ash offered it to join us these 4 men appeared and had their Tentacruel fire a Hydro Pump at the mon but the move missed and destroyed the window" Leaf responds with Don George nodding as Ash speaks.
"You know when I got a closer look at the mon it didn't look like an Umbreon but some sort of pig Pokémon" Ash says as Don George speaks.
"A fire pig Pokémon you say. I think I know what kind of Pokémon you're talking about" Don George says as Misty speaks.
"You do?" Misty asks with Don George nodding as he tells the group that the mon they saw was most likely a Tepig that was abandoned by its trainer last night (Ash and Leaf look up Tepig in their Pokedex's and learn that it's the pre evolved form of Emboar and Pignite). Don George also tells them that the rope that tied Tepig to the pole also wrapped around its nose meaning that it won't be able to use its fire type moves to defend itself. The group have surprised looks on their faces with Ash's Charizard, Muk, and Gengar being angry that Tepig was abandoned as they remembered when it happened to them Misty then speaks.
"That's horrible" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"I can't believe that a trainer would do that" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"I didn't get a good look at them, but those 4 men seemed dangerous" Leaf says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.
"We need to hurry and help Tepig" Ash says while having a determined look on his face with his Pokémon having the same look. His friends along with their Pokémon agree as Don George speaks.
"I'll take care of things here and please be careful and help Tepig" Don George says with the group nodding as they quickly run out of the building to help Tepig. Charizard along with Gengar, Leaf's Toucannon, and Flamigo fly in the air and start their search for Tepig. Meanwhile, back with Tepig it continues to run while also doing its best to dodge the Hydro Pumps, as Tepig continues to run Greesix speaks.
"If we keep chasing after it, we're going to lose it again!" Greesix says as Purpsix speaks.
"In that case I'll end this now. Tentacruel use Hydro Pump in front of it!" Purpsix calls with Tentacruel nodding as it fires the big stream of water that goes past Tepig and crashes in front of the mon creating an explosion. Tepig's then blown back some of the water gets on its body and washes away the dirt. As Tepig continues to fly back Tentacruel manages to grab Tepig with one of its tentacles and begins to squeeze Tepig tightly as Purpsix speaks.
"We caught it!" Purpsix along with his brothers say happily as Yellosix speaks.
"Man, Resix and Blusix are going to be jealous once they hear about what we caught today" Yellosix says with Greesix and Browsix nodding as Purpsix speaks.
"Yes, it'll make a fine collection to the other Pokémon that we have now let's take a closer look at our newly caught Umbreon." Purpsix says with his brothers agreeing as Tentacruel shows them the mon. Once the 4 brothers look at Tepig they've confused looks on their faces as Browsix speaks.
"Um this is a Tepig" Browsix says as Yellosix speaks.
"But I thought that we captured an Umbreon?" Yellosix says as Greesix speaks.
"Maybe it got blown away?" Greesix says as Purpsix speaks.
"No that's not it Tentacruel definitely caught Umbreon I saw it with my own eyes" Purpsix says as Browsix speaks.
"Then why does it have a Tepig wrapped around its tentacle instead of an Umbreon?" Browsix asks as Purpsix speaks.
"That's what I'm trying to figure out!" Purpsix yells in annoyance as they then hear a voice.
"Flamethrower!" The voice says as suddenly a stream of fire heads towards the brothers surprising them as they manage to dodge in time. Once they do Yellosix speaks.
"Who fired that Flamethrower?!" Yellosix says as Greesix speaks.
"You don't think it was Resix do you?" Greesix asks as Browsix speaks.
"Don't be stupid Resix is currently doing another mission with Blusix on a different island there's no way that he's here" Browsix says as Yellosix speaks.
"Then who fired the Flamethrower?" Yellosix asks as Purpsix looks at the sky and speaks.
"Look at the sky" Purpsix says making his brothers look at the sky as they see a Charizard, Gengar, Toucannon, and Flamigo land in front of them having serious looks on their faces as Greesix speaks.
"Um they don't seem too happy" Greesix says as Yellosix speaks.
"Are they wild?" Yellosix asks as Browsix speaks.
"I doubt it they look like they belong to a trainer as I heard someone commanding that Charizard to use Flamethrower" Browsix answers with Greesix and Yellosix nodding as Purpsix speaks.
"Looks like we'll have our answer soon enough" Purpsix says as he along with his brothers continue to look forward until they see the group make it. Once the group arrives Ash speaks.
"Let that Tepig go!" Ash says as Greesix speaks.
"Ah! It's those brats!" Greesix says as Browsix speaks.
"You know them?" Browsix asks as Greesix speaks.
"Yeah, don't you remember when Resix, Blusix, and I told you about how our mission on Pikan Island was stopped because of some kids. We'll these are those kids!" Greesix says with his brothers nodding as Purpsix speaks.
"So, these are the ones that stopped you" Purpsix says as Leaf looks at Greesix and speaks.
"Hey! I remember you you're one of the Hexagon brothers!" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"And there's more of them too" Misty says with the group nodding as Purpsix speaks.
"Yes, that's right we're the Hexagon brothers but first let us properly introduce ourselves Yellosix start us off!" Purpsix says with Yellosix nodding as he speaks.
"We are sextuplets!" Yellosix says as Browsix and Greesix speak.
"We are! We are!" The 2 men say as Purpsix speaks.
"We strike terror throughout the land!" Purpsix says as he along with his brothers get into position and speak.
"For We Are the Hexagon Brothers! Sound Off!" The 4 brothers say as they along with Tentacruel strike a pose leaving the group along with their Pokémon dumbfounded as Purpsix speaks.
"Great job brothers but Greesix I felt that you were a bit late when it came to doing the pose at the end" Purpsix says with Greesix nodding as he speaks.
"I'm sorry I'll do better next time" Greesix says as Purpsix speaks.
"Next time? No let's practice right now" Purpsix says with Greesix nodding as they along with Browsix and Yellosix begin to practice getting the timing right on their posing. As the 4 brothers are doing that the group look at them having unamused looks on their faces as Misty speaks.
"Are they really doing this?" Misty asks as Leaf speaks.
"Looks like it" Leaf says with Misty and Tracey nodding. As the group continue to watch the brothers practice their posing Ash looks at Tepig who's groaning in pain and speaks.
"Hey! Let go of Tepig you're hurting it!" Ash says bringing everyone back to reality as the 4 brothers stop their posing and look at Ash as Purpsix speaks.
"You mean this one?" Purpsix asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah! Tepig was just abandoned by its trainer last night and is currently going through a lot right now. So, I'm not going to let you take it away!" Ash says with a serious look on his face with his Pokémon along with his friends having serious looks too as Purpsix speaks.
"Oh, so you want this Tepig? Okay you can have it" Purpsix says as Tentacruel throws Tepig over to the group which surprises them. Just when Tepig's about to fall on the ground Ash manages to safely catch Tepig. When he does, he looks at the mon and speaks.
"Hey Tepig, are you okay?" Ash asks with the mon nodding making Ash smile. Ash then sees the rope around Tepig's nose and manages to pull the rope off allowing for Tepig to breathe as Ash speaks.
"I bet that feels better huh?" Ash asks with Tepig nodding as it begins to happily lick Ash's cheek making the boy laugh while his friends smile. Leaf then looks back at the Hexagon brothers and speaks.
"So, you guys aren't going to take Tepig?" Leaf asks as Purpsix speaks.
"That's right the only reason we went after it was because we thought it was an Umbreon had we had known it was a Tepig from the start we wouldn't have gone after it" Purpsix says with his brothers agreeing with him as Misty speaks.
"This is surprising I would've thought that you would take any Pokémon as that's what you did on Pinkan Island" Misty says as Yellosix speaks.
"Normally we would but the difference with Pinkan Island and here is that we mainly came here to stock up on supplies our mission wasn't to steal any Pokémon today" Yellosix responds with the group nodding as Browsix speaks.
"And besides, if our goal was to steal Pokémon, we wouldn't have taken that weak looking Tepig with us" Browsix says with his brothers agreeing making the group angry as Ash speaks.
"Hey! Tepig's not weak!" Ash says as Purpsix speaks.
"Actually, it is, you said that it was abandoned by its trainer, right? If its trainer abandoned it, then that means that it was unable to live up to its trainers' expectations making it a weak Pokémon in general" Purpsix says with his brothers agreeing and making Tepig sad as Tracey speaks.
"Even if that's true a trainer's job is to bring out a Pokémon's potential. So, the way I see it is that whoever was Tepig's previous trainer before is the weak one and not Tepig!" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah! And besides any Pokémon can be strong if you train them properly!" Leaf says with the group agreeing with her and Tracey. Purpsix then lets out a sigh and speaks.
"Alright, alright I get it you guys have your view on Pokémon while we have our own view on how Pokémon are treated. Now why don't we all just let this be the end of it and go our separate ways now okay because I'm getting sick of this conversation" Purpsix says as Misty speaks.
"Really? You're just going to leave and not fight us?" Misty asks as Purpsix speaks.
"It's like what Yellosix said before our mission coming to this island was to restock not steal any Pokémon" Purpsix says with the group nodding as Greesix speaks.
"But should we really leave? They humiliated Resix, Blusix, and I on Pinkan Island personally I want to get them back for that" Greesix says as Browsix speaks.
"Also, while that Tepig wasn't anything impressive their Pokémon on the other hand look like they'd be of good use to the organization" Browsix says with Yellosix having the same thoughts. Purpsix looks at his brothers then looks at the group's Pokémon again, as he's looking at them, he also feels as though they should take them. Purpsix then gets a sinister smile on his face and speaks.
"On second thought my brothers are right it would certainly be a waste to let you go off the hook after what happened on Pinkan Island. So, how about you kids leave your Pokémon other than that Tepig behind and then we can go our separate ways" Purpsix says while smiling making the group angry as Misty speaks.
"Are you crazy?! There's no way we're giving you, our Pokémon!" Misty yells as Ash speaks.
"Yeah! If you want them, you'll have to take them by force!" Ash says as his along with the groups Pokémon get into battle stances as Purpsix lets out another sigh and speaks.
"Fine have it your way force it is!" Purpsix says as he along with his brothers each throw their Pokeball's in the air sending out their Pokémon. Greesix brings out Cacturne, Breloom, Vileplume and Forretress. Yellosix brings out an Electrike, Magneton and a Voltorb. Browsix brings out a Noctowl, Vigoroth, Ursaring, and Lickitung. And Purpsix sends out a Kanto Muk, Weezing, and a Scolipede. The mons look at the groups Pokémon and get into battle stances with the groups Pokémon doing the same as Tracey speaks.
"They all look strong" Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, but we can beat them" Ash says with his Pokémon agreeing as Purpsix speaks.
"Heh we'll see about that now use Sludge Bomb!" Purpsix calls as his 4 poison types begin firing multiple bombs of sludge towards Ash's Pokémon Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt, Charizard Flamethrower, Krookodile Stone Edge and Muk, Gengar use Sludge Bomb!" Ash calls the 5-mons fire their moves that connect with the bombs of sludge creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Lee it begins running towards Purpsix's Pokémon as Ash speaks.
"Lee use Raging Bull!" "Scolipede counter with Mega Horn!" Both trainers call Lee covers its body in orange while Scolipede covers its horn in green bug energy. The 2 mons collide and begin pushing each other back and forth. As they're doing that Weezing appears as Purpsix speaks.
"Now Weezing use Toxic!" Purpsix calls the 2 heads of Weezing spit out a toxic blob that goes to hit Lee as Ash speaks.
"Charizard deflect with Metal Claw then hit Weezing with Flamethrower!" Ash calls Charizard quickly flies forward covers its right claws in steel energy then manages to slash the 2 toxic blobs. Charizard then covers its mouth in fire and fires the stream of fire at Weezing as Purpsix speaks.
"Tentacruel use Hydro Pump and Scolipede back away!" Purpsix calls Scolipede stops clashing with Lee and quickly moves out of the way. Tentacruel then fires a big Hydro Pump that easily destroys the Flamethrower and goes to hit Charizard along with Lee as Ash speaks.
"Charizard use get in front of Lee and use Thunder Punch!" Ash calls Charizard quickly gets in front of Lee covers its right fist in electricity, punches the Hydro Pump and easily destroys it. Once the Hydro Pump's gone Purpsix's Muk is holding a trash can as Purpsix speaks.
"Now Muk use Gunk Shot!" Purpsix calls Muk throws the trash can towards Charizard and Lee as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Extreme Speed then cut the Gunk Shot in half with Iron Tail!" Ash calls Pikachu shoots forward at blinding speed, covers its tail in steel energy and cuts the Gunk Shot in half making it explode behind Charizard and Lee instead as Purpsix speaks.
"Now Tentacruel grab Pikachu with your tentacles!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel shoots its tentacles forward going to grab Pikachu as Ash speaks.
"Gengar use Psychic to stop the tentacles and Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash calls Gengar fires the psychic waves that stop the tentacles along with Tentacruel in its tracks, Pikachu then fires the electric bolt that goes to hit Tentacruel as Purpsix speaks.
"Weezing block it with Gyro Ball and Scolipede use Poison Jab on Pikachu!" Purpsix calls as Weezing appears in front of the Thunderbolt covers its body in steel energy then begins to spin and deflects the move away. Scolipede covers its horns in poison and begins running towards Pikachu going to jab it as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile use Dig!" Ash calls Krookodile quickly digs underground then immediately appears out from under Scolipede and sends the mon flying in the air as Ash speaks.
"Now Gengar use Will-O-Wisp!" Ash calls Gengar fires 5 ghostly flames at the air born Scolipede as Purpsix speaks.
"Weezing use Dark Pulse to get rid of the Will-O-Wisp and Muk use Focus Blast on Krookodile!" Purpsix calls Weezing fires the stream of dark energy that easily destroys the 5 ghostly flames and go to hit Gengar, but the ghost manages to easily dodge. Muk then fires a big Focus Blast that goes to hit Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Muk intercept it with your own Focus Blast!" Ash calls Muk quickly concentrates and fires its own Focus Blast that connects with the other one creating an explosion. When the explosion clears both trainers along with their Pokémon are looking at each other as Purpsix speaks.
"Hmmm not bad I can see why you were able to beat Resix but that won't happen to me" Purpsix says while having a confident smile on his face as Ash speaks.
"We'll see about that!" Ash says as he along with Purpsix call their next commands and continue their battle. We now go over to Tracey's battle against Yellosix. We see an explosion and out of the explosion appears Marill who's groaning in pain as Yellosix speaks.
"Now use Thunder to finish Marill off!" Yellosix calls Electrike, Magneton, and Voltorb fire a combined Thunder that heads for Marill as Tracey speaks.
"Venonat use Protect!" Tracey calls Venonat gets in front of Marill and summons a protective barrier that blocks the attack. As Venonat continues to block the combined Thunder the move starts to crack the barrier making Yellosix smile as he speaks.
"Yes! That's it keep going until you destroy it!" Yellosix says with the 3-mons nodding as they begin to increase the Thunder making it start to crack the barrier more. Just when the barrier's about to fully crack Yellosix notices the ground starting to shake beneath the 3-mons as Tracey smiles and speaks.
"Okay Smeargle use Dig!" Tracey calls as suddenly Smeargle appears from under the 3-mons and hits them sending them flying high in the air surprising Yellosix as Tracey speaks.
"Okay Venonat grab them with Psychic and slam them on the ground!" Tracey calls Venonat fires the waves of psychic that manages to grab the 3 mons then sends them crashing back down on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears the 3-mons are groaning in pain then see Venonat charging up a beam while Smeargle and Marill are taking deep breaths as Tracey speaks.
"Now Venonat use Psybeam and Smeargle, Marill use Hydro Pump!" "Dodge!" Both trainers' call. Venonat along with Smeargle and Marill fire their moves that combine into one big beam. Yellosix's Pokémon are unable to dodge in time as the combined blast hits them creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Electrike, Magneton, and Voltorb are laying on the ground knocked out as Yellosix speaks.
"No way…." Yellosix says in surprise as Tracey speaks.
"We did it!" Tracey cheers along with his Pokémon as we now go over to Browsix's battle against Misty. Browsix sees that Yellosix lost then speaks.
"He seriously lost to that weakling?" Browsix says to himself as Misty speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls as Vaporeon along with Milotic and Seadra fire the big stream of water at Browsix's Pokémon. Browsix quickly looks back at the battlefield and speaks.
"Noctowl send the Hydro Pump towards the sky! And Ursaring, Vigoroth run forward and use Slash!" Browsix calls Noctowl fires the waves of psychic energy that connect with the combined Hydro Pump and send it toward the sky. After that Ursaring along with Vigoroth run forward and go to hit the 3 mons as Misty speaks.
"Psyduck, Slowpoke stop them with Psychic!" Misty calls the 2-mons quickly fire the waves of psychic energy that manage to stop Ursaring and Vigoroth in their tracks as Browsix speaks.
"You think that Psychic will stop my Pokémon?! Ursaring, Vigoroth break out of there with Night Slash!" Browsix calls Ursaring along with Vigoroth roar as they cover their claws in dark energy and manage to easily break out of the Psychic. The moment they do Golisopod appears in front of the 2-mons making Misty smirk as she speaks.
"I knew you'd do that now Golisopod use First Impression!" Misty calls as Golisopod jabs both mons hard in the stomach making them cough in pain. Ursaring and Vigoroth are then sent flying until they crash below Browsix's feet and are knocked out as Misty speaks.
"Great job Golisopod!" Misty cheers along with her Pokémon as Browsix speaks.
"Why are you celebrating over one victory? I'm not finished yet! Noctowl use Air Slash on Golisopod!" Browsix calls as the owl fires multiple slashes of wind at Golisopod Misty speaks.
"Golisopod use your arms to block!" Misty calls Golisopod quickly brings up its arms and easily blocks the slashes of wind. Once the Air slash disappears Browsix speaks.
"Now Lickitung wrap your tongue around Golisopod to hold it in place!" Browsix calls Lickitung quickly extends its tongue forward and manages to wrap around Golisopod's body making it so it can't escape as Browsix speaks.
"Now Noctowl use Hurricane!" Browsix calls Noctowl flaps its wings fast creating a large Hurricane that heads for Golisopod. The bug samurai looks at the hurricane and doesn't have a concerned look on its face as Misty speaks.
"That won't work either! Milotic, Seadra use Blizzard!" Misty calls the 2-mons roar as they summon a massive Blizzard that easily freezes the Hurricane and destroys it. Browsix along with his Pokémon have surprised looks on their faces as Misty speaks.
"Now Vaporeon use Ice Beam!" Misty calls Vaporeon fires the icy beam that hits Noctowl causing super effective damage and causing it to start falling from the sky as Misty speaks.
"Now use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls Vaporeon along with Seadra and Milotic fire a combined Hydro Pump that hits Noctowl and sends it crashing a few feet away as it's knocked out. Browsix has an annoyed look on his face as he speaks.
"You may've defeated my Noctowl but my Lickitung still stands now Lickitung use Thunder on Golisopod!" Browsix calls Lickitung quickly sparks its body and fires the big electric bolt at Golisopod as Misty speaks.
"Golisopod use Scald on its tongue to break free!" Misty calls Golisopod fires a hot stream of water on Lickitung's tongue and burns it forcing the mon to let go and allowing for Golisopod to back away as the Thunder hits the battlefield instead. Lickitung begins trying to cool down its tongue as Browsix speaks.
"What're you doing Lickitung?! We don't have time for this!" Browsix says as Misty speaks.
"I believe that your time has just run out Psyduck, Slowpoke use Psychic!" Misty calls the 2-mons fire the waves of Psychic energy and grab Lickitung as Browsix speaks.
"Holding Lickitung down with Psychic won't work as it'll just break out!" Browsix says as Misty speaks.
"We'll see about that Togepi use Metronome!" Misty calls with Togepi nodding as it begins to happily wave its fingers together Browsix speaks.
"Metronome really? You know that it'll just choose a move at random right? There's no way that it'll grant you the move you want" Browsix says as Misty speaks.
"Yeah, I know but as long as it's an attacking move, I'm fine with it" Misty responds as a couple seconds later Togepi finishes waving its fingers as Misty speaks.
"Okay Togepi fire!" Misty says Togepi roars as it fires a big Dragon Pulse from its mouth surprising Browsix who calls for Lickitung to dodge but the mon is unable to because of the Psychic allowing the dragon beam to hit Lickitung and create an explosion as Browsix speaks.
"Lickitung!" Browsix calls in worry as when the smoke clears Lickitung's laying on the ground knocked out Misty speaks.
"We Won! And congratulations Togepi you defeated your first opponent!" Misty says happily as she gives the mon a hug her other Pokémon congratulate Togepi too making the egg happy. Meanwhile with Browsix he has a surprised look on his face as he gets on his knees and speaks.
"I don't believe this… I lost to a Togepi…" Browsix says while having a shocked look on his face as we now go over to Leaf's battle with Greesix. Leaf looks at Greesix and speaks.
"Your brothers are going down one after the other and you'll be joining them soon enough!" Leaf says as Greesix speaks.
"Please that won't happen as I'm far stronger than before and it's payback time!" Greesix says as he begins to call for a command.
"Breloom use Mach Punch on Krookodile!" "Krookodile block!" Both trainers call Breloom's right fist glows as it shoots forward reaching Krookodile instantly and goes to punch it. Krookodile quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack as it's sent sliding a few feet back as Leaf speaks.
"Now Toucannon, Flamigo use Air Slash on Breloom!" Leaf calls the 2-mons fly in the air and flap their wings fast sending out multiple slashes of wind as Greesix speaks.
"Forretress use Rapid Spin to knock them away then use Stone Edge!" Greesix calls Forretress appears in front of Breloom and begins to spin easily knocking the slashes of wind away. Forretress then creates multiple sharp rocks and sends them at Toucannon and Flamigo as Leaf speaks.
"Dodge and Krookodile use Fire Fang on Forretress!" Leaf calls up in the air Toucannon along with Flamigo easily dodge the sharp stones. Krookodile then covers its teeth in fire and begins running towards Forretress going to bite it as Greesix speaks.
"Now Breloom use Mach Punch!" Greesix calls Breloom's right fist glows shoots forward and punches Krookodile hard across the face. Krookodile groans in pain while Breloom along with Greesix smile, Krookodile then looks at Breloom as Leaf speaks.
"You just made a mistake getting close now Krookodile use Dragon Claw!" Leaf calls before Greesix can call for a command Krookodile covers its right claws in green dragon energy and jabs Breloom hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain as it's sent flying and crashes next to Greesix knocked out as Leaf speaks.
"Great job Krookodile!" Leaf cheers along with her Pokémon as Krookodile nods and gains a Moxie boost. Greesix's disappointed that Breloom lost but quickly recomposes himself and calls for his next command.
"Your Krookodile's wide open now Cacturne, Vileplume use Leaf Storm!" Greesix calls the 2-mons roar as they fire a combined Leaf Storm at Krookodile Leaf speaks.
"Krookodile use Dig to dodge and Venusaur counter with your Leaf Storm!" Leaf calls with the 2-mons nodding. Krookodile quickly digs underground and avoids the combined storm of Leaves. Venusaur roars and fires its own Leaf Storm that collides with the other one as they both cancel each other out, when that happens Krookodile bursts from underneath Cacturne and Vileplume sending them high into the air. As both mons are in the air they see Toucannon and Flamigo flying towards them as Leaf speaks.
"Flamigo use Aerial Ace and Toucannon charge up a Beak Blast!" Leaf calls Flamigo begins to speed up while Toucannon begins to charge its beak Greesix speaks.
"Forretress use Stone Edge!" "Boltund use Thunder!" "Dodge Forretress!" Both trainers call when Forretress goes to fire the sharp stones Boltund fires a large Thunder that goes to hit Forretress, but the mon manages to dodge in time making Greesix annoyed. Greesix then sees Flamigo getting closer to Cacturne and Vileplume then calls for his command.
"Cacturne use Protect!" Greesix calls as Cacturne gets in front of Vileplume and summons a protective barrier that'll protect both of them. As Flamigo's about to come into contact with the barrier Leaf smiles and speaks.
"Heh, I knew you'd do that. Flamigo use Feint!" Leaf calls "What?!" Greesix says in shock as just when Flamigo's about to hit the barrier its right leg glows and kicks the barrier easily destroying it surprising Greesix along with his Pokémon. Leaf then calls for her next command.
"Now Flamigo use Acrobatics on Cacturne!" Leaf calls Flamigo glows blue, shoots forward, and begins to repeatedly hit Cacturne back and forth until Flamigo sends the mon crashing on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears Cacturne's laying on its back knocked out as Greesix speaks.
"Why you! Vileplume use Sludge Bomb on Flamigo!" Greesix calls as just when Vileplume's about to use the move Toucannon appears behind the mon with a fully charged beak as Leaf speaks.
"Now hit it with Beak Blast!" "Dodge Vileplume!" Both trainers call Vileplume's unable to dodge in time as Toucannon hits the mon with its beak creating an explosion. A couple seconds later Vileplume appears out of the explosion and lands on the ground knocked out. Leaf along with her Pokémon cheer while Greesix's getting more annoyed and speaks.
"That's it I've had enough! Forretress blow her along with her Pokémon away with Explosion!" Greesix says Forretress nods and begins to glow as Leaf speaks.
"How predictable, Greavard use Disable!" Leaf calls surprising Greesix as Greavard appears in front of Forretress its eye glows and disables the move. Forretress tries to explode but is unable to, Greesix has a surprised look on his face as Leaf speaks.
"Time to finish this Boltund use Thunder and Greavard use Shadow Ball!" Leaf calls Boltund fires a big electric bolt that hits Forretress and shocks it. Greavard then creates a big ball of ghostly energy and throws it at Forretress creating an explosion as Greesix speaks.
"Forretress!" Greesix calls in worry as when the smoke clears Forretress's laying on the ground knocked out as Leaf speaks.
"We Won!" Leaf cheers along with her Pokémon while Greesix has a shocked look on his face and speaks.
"I don't believe this I lost to her again" Greesix says in disappointment. Meanwhile, as Leaf continues to cheer with her Pokémon Greavard suddenly stops cheering as Leaf speaks.
"What is it Greavard?" Leaf asks as suddenly Greavard glows a bright light surprising Leaf as she smiles and speaks.
"Greavard's evolving!" Leaf says happily as Greavard gets bigger and its body begins to change when the evolution stops what was once a Greavard is now a Houndstone who lets out a big bark as Leaf speaks.
"Houndstone you evolved congratulations!" Leaf says with the dog nodding as it licks Leaf on the cheek making the girl laugh. Off to the side Misty speaks.
"I wasn't expecting Leaf's Greavard to evolve" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"I'm surprised that it evolved while it's still daytime as I've only heard that Greavard can only evolve into Houndstone at night" Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"Maybe Greavard didn't want to wait to evolve at night and wanted to do it now" Misty says with Tracey nodding. We now go back to Ash's battle with Purpsix, Purpsix looks at his 3 brothers who lost and speaks.
"They really lost" Purpsix says as Ash speaks.
"Yep, and you're going to join them!" Ash says with his Pokémon agreeing with him as Purpsix speaks.
"I doubt it, now! Tentacruel use Sludge Wave!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel fires a big wave of sludge that heads for Ash's Pokémon as Ash speaks.
"Muk destroy it with Poison Jab!" Ash calls Muk covers its right hand in poison shoots forward connects with the sludge wave and easily destroys it. When that happens Purpsix's Muk appears and has its mouth opened as Purpsix speaks.
"Now use Dark Pulse!" Purpsix calls Ash was unable to tell Muk to dodge in time as Purpsix's Muk fires a point-blank Dark Pulse that sends it flying a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Muk are you okay?!" Ash asks with Muk nodding as it can still continue making Ash happy as he calls for his next move.
"Gengar use Psychic!" Ash calls Gengar quickly fires the psychic waves at Purpsix's Muk as Purpsix speaks.
"Weezing use Dark Pulse on that Psychic then hit Gengar!" Purpsix calls the 2 Weezing heads fire the 2 dark streams of energy that easily destroy the Psychic and are now heading for Gengar as Ash speaks.
"Use Phantom Force!" Ash calls surprising Purpsix as Gengar disappears into a portal and dodges the 2 Dark Pulses as Purpsix speaks.
"Where'd it go?" Purpsix says as Ash speaks.
"Okay Charizard use Brick Break on Weezing!" Ash calls Charizard appears in front of Weezing its right-hand glows white and chops Weezing's head sending the mon crashing into Purpsix's Muk as Purpsix speaks.
"Why you! Tentacruel use Hydro Pump on Charizard!" Pikachu counter with Thunderbolt!" Both trainers call Tentacruel fires a big Hydro Pump that goes to hit Charizard, but Pikachu fires an electric bolt that connects with the Hydro Pump and easily destroys it. The Thunderbolt's now heading for Tentacruel as Purpsix speaks.
"Scolipede destroy it with Poison Tail then hit Pikachu with Poison Jab!" Purpsix calls Scolipede covers its tail in poison spins around and easily destroys the electric bolt. Scolipede covers its horns with poison and is now heading for Pikachu as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile intercept with Dragon Claw!" Ash calls Krookodile covers its claws in green dragon energy and collides with Scolipede. Scolipede tries to push Krookodile away but can't as the croc isn't backing down. As Scolipede continues to try knocking Krookodile away Purpsix speaks.
"Use Toxic!" "Dodge Krookodile and Lee use Raging Bull then Close Combat!" Both trainers call Scolipede spits out a blob of poison that goes to hit Krookodile, but the mon easily dodges by moving to the right, Lee then appears and hits Scolipede with Raging Bull. Scolipede groans in pain but Lee isn't done yet as the bull shoots forward and begins to repeatedly hit Scolipede with its horns. Lee continues to hit Scolipede until it turns around and kicks it with its back hooves making Scolipede slide back a few feet away. Scolipede groans in pain but shakes its head then looks forward and sees Krookodile creating a large sharp stone as Purpsix speaks.
"Muk, Weezing don't let it launch that Stone Edge use Sludge Bomb!" Purpsix calls the 2-mons fire multiple bombs of sludge that go to hit Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Muk intercept the Sludge Bombs and Pikachu, Charizard use Thunderbolt and Flamethrower!" Ash calls when the Sludge Bombs go to hit Krookodile, Muk gets in front of the bombs and lets them hit it. Once the bombs do, they're immediately absorbed into Muk's body surprising Purpsix. Purpsix doesn't stay surprised for long as Pikachu along with Charizard fire a Thunderbolt and Flamethrower respectively as Purpsix speaks.
"Muk, Weezing dodge! And Tentacruel use Hydro Pump on Krookodile!" Purpsix calls Muk along with Weezing manage to easily dodge the Thunderbolt and Flamethrower. Just when Tentacruel's about to fire the big stream of water a ghostly portal appears on its left side as Ash speaks.
"Do it Gengar!" Ash calls as out of the portal, appears Gengar who punches Tentacruel hard across the face making the mon stop what it was about to do. Purpsix's surprised as Ash speaks.
"Now Krookodile!" Ash calls Krookodile roars as it fires a big sharp stone at Scolipede Purpsix speaks.
"If you think that I'm going to have Scolipede stand there then you're mistaken! Scolipede dodge!" Purpsix calls just when Scolipede's about to dodge Ash speaks.
"And I knew that you'd have Scolipede dodge. Gengar hold Scolipede in place with Psychic!" Ash calls Gengar fires the waves of psychic energy that stop Scolipede from moving as it's now stuck. Scolipede tries to break free but can't as it then looks forward and sees the sharp stone that hits it creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Scolipede's laying on its right side knocked out as Ash speaks.
"Alright that's one down!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon (Tepig cheers too) and Krookodile roars as it gains a Moxie boost from defeating Scolipede. Purpsix's surprised that one of his Pokémon got defeated but then recomposes himself as he speaks.
"You may've defeated one of my Pokémon, but I still have 3 more!" Purpsix says as he calls for his next command.
"Use Sludge Bomb!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel along with Weezing and Muk begin firing multiple bombs of sludge as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile blow those away with Stone Edge!" Ash calls Krookodile roars as it creates multiple sharp stones around it and fires them at the Sludge Bombs easily destroying them. The sharp stones head for Purpsix's Pokémon as Purpsix speaks.
"Dodge and Tentacruel use Hydro Pump on Krookodile!" Purpsix calls the 3-mons manage to easily dodge the sharp stones as Tentacruel then fires a big stream of water towards Krookodile Ash speaks.
"Pikachu destroy it with Thunder Punch and Lee run forward!" Ash calls Pikachu jumps forward covers its right fist in electricity and punches the Hydro Pump easily destroying it. Lee then begins running towards Purpsix's Muk as Purpsix speaks.
"So, you're coming to me? You're just making things much easier, Muk use Poison Jab on Tauros!" Purpsix calls his Muk covers both of its hands in poison and is getting ready to collide with Lee. As Lee's getting closer Purpsix's Muk shoots forward going to jab Lee as Ash speaks.
"Lee dodge to the right and use Raging Bull on Weezing!" Ash calls Purpsix's Muk goes to hit Lee, but the bull quickly makes a sharp turn to the right covers its body in orange and hits Weezing causing damage as Purpsix speaks.
"Muk use Sludge Bomb on that Tauros!" Purpsix says as Ash speaks.
"Should you really be worrying about Lee?" Ash asks making Purpsix confused as he then turns around and sees Ash's Muk forming an orange ball as Purpsix speaks.
"Is that Focus Blast?" Purpsix asks with Ash nodding as the boy speaks.
"Okay Muk fire!" Ash calls Muk roars as it fires a big ball of fighting energy that hits Purpsix's Muk creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Purpsix's Muk is lying on the ground knocked out as Ash speaks.
"Yeah! Great job Muk!" Ash along with his other Pokémon and Tepig cheer making the sludge monster happy. Purpsix's getting annoyed as he speaks.
"That's it I've had enough! Tentacruel use Hydro Pump on Muk!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel fires the big stream of water towards Muk as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunder!" Ash calls Pikachu fires a big electric bolt that cuts through the Hydro Pump and is heading for Tentacruel as Purpsix speaks.
"Weezing deflect it with Gyro Ball and use Smokescreen!" Purpsix calls Weezing appears in front of the Thunder covers its body in steel energy and spins easily destroying the move. After that the 2 Weezing heads then send out a black cloud of smoke that covers the entire battlefield and causes Ash along with his Pokémon to cough as Ash speaks.
"Charizard fly in the air and blow this smoke away with your wings!" Ash calls Charizard nods as It's about to fly in the air Purpsix speaks.
"Now grab it Tentacruel!" Purpsix calls as suddenly multiple tentacles appear and wrap around Charizard causing it to stop. A couple seconds later the smoke clears and Ash sees that not only Charizard, but Krookodile and Lee are also wrapped in Tentacruel's tentacles too as Ash speaks.
"What the?!" Ash says in surprise as Purpsix speaks.
"While you and your Pokémon were coughing, I had Tentacruel go around grabbing your Krookodile and Tauros. Then when you called for your Charizard to fly I knew that was my chance and had Tentacruel grab it too." Purpsix says as Ash speaks.
"Well, you may've got them, but I'll break them free Gengar use Psychic!" Ash calls Gengar goes to fire the waves of psychic energy at Tentacruel as Purpsix speaks.
"I don't think so Weezing use Dark Pulse and hit not only Gengar but Muk as well!" Purpsix calls the 2 Weezing heads quickly fire 2 streams of dark energy that easily destroy the Psychic and hit not only Gengar but Muk too causing the 2-mons to slide back a few feet as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Extreme Speed!" "Weezing use Flash and Toxic!" Both trainers call when Pikachu goes to use Extreme Speed Weezing quickly shines brightly and blinds Pikachu causing it to stop. The small Weezing head then fires a toxic blob that hits Pikachu causing the yellow mouse to cough as it's now poisoned Purpsix smiles then speaks.
"Now Weezing get in front of Pikachu and use Explosion!" "Pikachu quick use Double Team to dodge!" Both trainers call Weezing shoots forward it immediately appears in front of Pikachu and begins to glow. Pikachu's about to use Double Team but can't as the poison stops it surprising Ash as Purpsix smiles and speaks.
"Hah! It's the end for your Pikachu! Do It Weezing!" "Pikachu look Out!" Both trainers say off to the side Misty, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon begin to quickly run forward to help Pikachu. Gengar and Muk want to help Pikachu but are unable to as the Dark Pulse caused them to flinch. Krookodile, Lee, and Charizard try their best to get out of Tentacruel's hold but the squid is holding onto them tightly. As the 3 mons continue to struggle Charizard gets angry, it heats up its body and roars using Inferno which forces Tentacruel to let go of it along with Krookodile and Lee. Once they're free the 3-mons quickly go to save Pikachu with Charizard making it first, Charizard doesn't have time to pick up Pikachu, so he instead pushes Pikachu out of the way surprising everyone. Charizard then looks at the still glowing Weezing and roars using Inferno again while Weezing explodes causing the whole area to shake and creating a big cloud of smoke as Ash yells.
"CHARIZARD!" Ash yells in concern as when the shaking stops Charizard appears out of the smoke and lands on its back below Ash's feet as Ash speaks.
"Charizard are you okay?!" Ash asks while looking at the fire lizard who has scratches all over its body. Charizard groans in pain but nods as when the smoke clears everyone can see Weezing laying on the ground knocked out as Purpsix speaks.
"Even though that attack was meant for your Pikachu I'm happy that it hit your Charizard meaning that one of your strongest Pokémon is down" Purpsix says while having a smile on his face as Ash speaks.
"Why you!" Ash says in anger with his Pokémon along with Tepig getting angry. Charizard tries to stand back up but gets down on one knee and begins to pant heavily as Tracey speaks.
"Even though Charizard's Inferno minimized the damage from the Explosion it still took a lot of damage from it" Tracey says with Misty and Leaf nodding. Meanwhile, Ash tells Charizard that it needs to rest but Charizard declines saying that it can still battle. Tepig looks at Charizard and is impressed by not only how strong it is but also how it went out of its way to save Pikachu knowing that it would get hurt too. Tepig wants to be strong like Charizard too but in order to do that it needs to get stronger by facing opponents that are either equal or even stronger than it. Tepig then gets a serious look on its face as it manages to jump out of Ash's arms and lands on the battlefield getting in a battle stance as Ash speaks.
"Tepig are you saying that you want to battle?" Ash asks with Tepig nodding Ash along with his Pokémon can see the fire in Tepig's eyes saying that it'll help win them this battle. Ash along with his Pokémon smile as Ash speaks.
"Okay Tepig I'm counting on you along with everyone else!" Ash says with Tepig nodding as it along with Pikachu, Muk, Gengar, Krookodile and Lee get into battle stances Purpsix speaks.
"Really, you're using that weak looking Tepig? You're just making this a lot easier for me" Purpsix says as Ash speaks.
"Tepig may look weak but it's strong and it along with the rest of my Pokémon will defeat you!" Ash says with his Pokémon and Tepig roaring in agreement as Purpsix speaks.
"We'll see about that Tentacruel use Sludge Bomb!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel fires multiple bombs of sludge towards Ash's Pokémon as Ash speaks.
"Gengar use Psychic to send them back and Krookodile, Lee, Tepig run forward!" Ash calls Gengar fires the waves of psychic energy that grab the sludge bombs and begin sending them back towards Tentacruel while Krookodile, Lee, and Tepig begin running towards the mon Purpsix speaks.
"Tentacruel knock those Sludge Bombs away with your tentacles!" Purpsix calls when the Sludge Bombs go to hit Tentacruel the mon manages to easily knock them away with its tentacles. Tentacruel then sees Krookodile, Lee, and Tepig getting closer as Purpsix speaks.
"Grab them Tentacruel!" "Dodge!" Both trainers call Tentacruel extends its tentacles forward going to grab the 3-mons, but they manage to quickly dodge in time. When they dodge Tentacruel looks forward and sees Muk charging up a Focus Blast as Ash speaks.
"Fire Muk!" "Tentacruel knock it away with Knock Off!" Both trainers call Muk roars and fires the ball of fighting energy. The Focus Blast goes to hit Tentacruel, but the mon quickly covers one of its tentacles in dark energy and knocks the move away. Once Tentacruel does that Pikachu appears in front of Tentacruel and has its body covered in electricity as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Wild Charge!" Ash calls Pikachu coughs from the poison damage but pushes through and hits Tentacruel hard in the face causing super effective damage and making the mon slide a few feet back. Tentacruel groans in pain as Purpsix speaks.
"Tentacruel above you!" Purpsix says as Tentacruel looks in the air and sees Krookodile along with Lee falling towards it as Ash speaks.
"Pin it down!" "Dodge Tentacruel!" Both trainers call Tentacruel can't dodge in time as Krookodile and Lee stomp on Tentacruel's head with their feet causing the mon to crash face first on the ground with Krookodile and Lee on top of it as Purpsix speaks.
"Get them off you Tentacruel!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel tries but is unable too as Krookodile and Lee are making sure to not let the mon go Ash speaks.
"Now Gengar use Psychic!" Ash calls Gengar fires the waves of Psychic energy as Purpsix speaks.
"Tentacruel use Brutal Swing!" "Krookodile, Lee dodge!" Both trainers call Tentacruel roars as it covers its tentacles in dark energy and goes to hit the 2-mons. But Krookodile along with Lee manage to jump away in time, the Psychic then goes to hit Tentacruel, but Tentacruel easily destroys it. Tentacruel then looks at Gengar as Purpsix speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" "Gengar use Phantom Force!" Both trainers call Tentacruel fires the big stream of water it goes to hit Gengar, but the ghost creates a portal behind itself and goes inside dodging the attack as Ash speaks.
"Now Pikachu use Thunder times 5! Ash calls Pikachu suffers from poison damage but roars as it fires 5 large Thunder's at Tentacruel Purpsix speaks.
"Counter with Sludge Wave!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel roars and creates a giant wave of sludge that connects with the 5 Thunders. The 2 mons go back and forth for a little while until the 5 Thunders manage to destroy the sludge wave and are now heading for Tentacruel as Purpsix speaks.
"Dodge Tentacruel!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel manages to easily dodge the first 4 and when it's about to dodge the last one Ash speaks.
"Do it Gengar!" Ash calls suddenly a portal appears on Tentacruel's left side Gengar appears out of the portal and punches Tentacruel hard across the face causing the mon to stop. Tentacruel then looks forward and sees the Thunder as it hits it. Tentacruel cries out in pain until the Thunder goes away, once the Thunder's gone Tentacruel pants as it has electricity flowing around its body showcasing that it's paralyzed. Tentacruel then looks forward and sees Tepig in front of it building up fire as Ash speaks.
"Okay Tepig end this with Ember!" Ash calls Tepig roars as it fires the Ember at Tentacruel Purpsix speaks.
"Please you think that's going to work?! Tentacruel blow it away with Hydro Pump!" Purpsix calls Tentacruel roars as it fires a big stream of water that collides with the Ember. At first the Hydro Pump begins to overpower the Ember, but Tentacruel is then forced to slow down because of the paralysis as Ash speaks.
"Keep going Tepig!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon Tepig nods and begins to increase the power of its Ember and starts to push the Hydro Pump back as Purpsix speaks.
"This is ridiculous! Tentacruel stop wasting time and GET RID OF THAT WEAKLING!" Purpsix yells with Tentacruel nodding as it begins to increase the power of its Hydro Pump more and is starting to overwhelm the Ember. Tepig's now being pushed back, it's starting to lose steam and is beginning to think that Shamus was right about it having no talent as Ash speaks.
"Come on Tepig keep going! We only just met today but I know that you're strong and still have a lot more inside you! So, come on Tepig prove to him that you're not weak WE BELIEVE IN YOU!" Ash yells with his Pokémon roaring sharing the same feelings as him. Tepig hears their cheers as this is the first time anyone has ever said that it was strong even Shamus never said that. Tepig then realizes that it can't keep thinking of what Shamus said is true, Ash and his Pokémon believe that Tepig is strong and Tepig wants to showcase its power too as it roars.
"TEPIG!" Tepig roars as its body along with its Ember heats up more and more. Tepig's Ember continues to heat up until it turns into a big Flamethrower surprising Purpsix as he speaks.
"WHAT?!" Purpsix yells in shock as Ash speaks.
"THAT'S IT TEPIG DO ITTTTTTTTTT!" "TEPIGGGGGG!" Ash along with his Pokémon cheer as Tepig roars increasing the power of its Flamethrower. The Flamethrower heats up more and is starting to burn the Hydro Pump causing it to turn into steam. The Flamethrower continues to burn through the Hydro Pump until it hits Tentacruel causing the mon to cry out in pain as a few seconds later Tentacruel falls on its back. Once the Flamethrower goes away Tepig begins to pant heavily as it along with everyone else look forward and see that Tentacruel is knocked out. Ash then gets a smile on his face as he speaks.
"WE DID IT!" Ash cheers along with his Pokémon who roar in victory. Tepig has a smile on its face then closes its eyes and is about to fall down but Ash manages to catch the mon in time he picks it up and speaks.
"That was amazing Tepig I knew you could do it!" "Pi, Pikachu!" Ash says along with his Pokémon making Tepig smile as it cheers too. Meanwhile, off to the side Misty, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon have smiles on their faces too and are happy that Ash won. They then walk over and begin to celebrate with them. Meanwhile back to Purpsix he has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"I lost?... And to a weak looking Tepig of all things?" Purpsix says while having a shocked look on his face as he along with his brothers return their Pokémon. Greesix, along with Browsix, and Yellosix walk over to him as Yellosix speaks.
"I can't believe that you lost as well" Yellosix says with Greesix and Browsix nodding as Purpsix speaks.
"No… I don't believe this. I DON'T BELIEVE THISSSS!" Purpsix yells as he runs forward going to punch Ash, but Pikachu gets in way in time and fires a big Thunderbolt that shocks Purpsix and causing him to crash into his brothers allowing them to be shocked as well. As the 4 brothers are still being shocked there's then an explosion that sends the 4 of them high into the air as Greesix speaks.
"I'm paralyzed" Greesix says while having electricity flow throughout his body with the same thing happening to Yellosix and Browsix too as Purpsix speaks.
"YOU BRATS WON TODAY BUT THIS WON'T BE THE LAST TIME THAT YOU HEAR OF THE HEXAGON BROTHERS!" Purpsix yells as he along with his brothers continue to fly in the air until they are out of sight. Once they're gone the group look at the sky as Tracey speaks.
"They flew really high into the air" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah, I don't even see them anymore" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"This kind of gave me some Déjà vu" Misty says with Ash agreeing with her as the group then hear a voice.
"HEY!" The voice says causing the group to turn around as they see Don George along with an Officer Jenny and a few police men. Once they get close enough Don George looks at the group and speaks.
"Are you kids alright?" Don George asks with the group nodding as Ash speaks.
"We are and look we also saved Tepig" Ash says while showing the fire pig to the man as he speaks.
"That's great to hear" Don George says while having a smile on his face with the group smiling too. After that they all head to the Pokémon Center for the group to heal their Pokémon along with Tepig. During the ride there the group told Officer Jenny that the Hexagon Brothers tried to steal Tepig and had tried to steal Pokémon on Pinkan Island before. Officer Jenny tells the group that she's heard about them before from the Jenny on Pinkan Island and will let the neighboring Islands know to watch out for the Hexagon Brothers making the group happy. Tracey also showed Officer Jenny a sketch of the 6 brothers making Jenny happy as it'll allow her to make wanted posters of them. Don George also tells Ash and Leaf that once their Pokémon are healed, they can come back to the building so that they can have their battle making Ash and Leaf happy. We now see the group in the Pokémon Center waiting for their Pokémon along with Tepig to be done. As they continue to wait, they hear a ding and a voice.
"Your Pokémon along with Tepig are now fully healed" Nurse Joy says as the group see a Chansey walk next to her and is pushing a tray that has the group's Pokéball's along with Tepig and Pikachu on it. The 4 kids have smiles on their faces as they look at Joy and speak.
"Thank you, Nurse Joy, and Chansey!" The 4 kids say making the 2 of them happy. Once the group get their Pokeball's and Pikachu gets on Ash's shoulder they're ready to go. But before they leave Ash sees Tepig having a sad look on its face as Ash walks over to the mon bends down and speaks.
"Hey Tepig, you want to join us?" Ash asks surprising Tepig as Ash continues.
"Seeing your strength along with helping us defeat the Hexagon Brothers was cool. I also don't see why your old trainer abandoned you, you're not only strong but also very compassionate and I would love to have you on my team. I also have many fire types at Oak's lab that can help you grow stronger and increase your fire power. So, what do you say will you join me?" Ash asks while looking at Tepig. Tepig looks at Ash and begins to think that while it does miss being with Shamus Tepig feels that it can grow stronger with Ash. Tepig continues to look at Ash smiles and speaks.
"Tepig!" Tepig says telling Ash that it'll join him, making Ash happy as he pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Alright Tepig let's work hard together!" "Pika!" Ash and Pikachu say with Tepig nodding as Ash taps the ball on its head and Tepig's sucked inside. The ball doesn't shake once as it dings showcasing that it's an instant capture making Ash smile as he speaks.
"I just caught a Tepig!" "Pi, Pikachu!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as a few seconds later the ball disappears from his hand heading to Oak's lab. After that Ash turns to his friends and speaks.
"Alright I'm ready to go and I'm going to get that Shiny Charm!" Ash says while having an excited look on his face as Leaf speaks.
"No way it's going to be me!" Leaf responds the 2 then look at each other for a little bit then quickly dash out of the Pokémon center and start running back towards the building leaving Tracey and Misty behind as Tracey speaks.
"And there they go" Tracey says with Misty nodding as she speaks.
"Let's go after them" Misty says with Tracey nodding as they begin to run after the 2 kids. 10 minutes later they've made it back to the building and Ash along with Leaf are already on the battlefield and are on their respective sides. The 2 kids look at each other having smiles on their faces as Don George appears taking the referee spot and speaks.
"This is a 2v2 Double Battle between contestants Leaf Green and Ash Ketchum! Both trainers have fought their way to the finals and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner! Now if both trainers are ready, please send out your Pokémon!" Don George says as Ash and Leaf pull out 2 Pokeball's and speak.
"Come Out!" "I Choose You!" Both trainers say as they throw their Pokeball's forward sending out their Pokémon. Leaf's Pokémon are her Shiny Krookodile and Houndstone while Ash's Pokémon are his Krookodile and Gengar. The 4 mons look at each other and have serious looks on their faces as Don George speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" Don George says as Ash speaks.
"Here I come Leaf! Krookodile use Dig and Gengar use Dazzling Gleam!" Ash calls Krookodile quickly digs underground while Gengar shines brightly and fires a big light of fairy energy that goes to hit Leaf's Krookodile and Houndstone as Leaf speaks.
"Nice try Ash but that's not going to work Houndstone get in front of Krookodile, and use Protect!" Leaf calls Houndstone nods as it quickly gets in front of Krookodile and summons a protective barrier blocking the Dazzling Gleam. When the light goes away Houndstone's barrier goes down, the ghost dog then feels something underneath it as Ash speaks.
"Now Krookodile!" Ash says as suddenly Krookodile appears from under Houndstone and upper cuts it with its left hand sending the ghost dog flying high in the air. Once Houndstone's gone Leaf's Krookodile gets its claws ready as Leaf speaks.
"Now Krookodile use Dragon Claw!" "Krookodile counter with your Dragon Claw!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile covers its left claws in green dragon energy while Ash's Krookodile covers its right claws in green dragon energy. The 2-mons collide creating an explosion then slide away from each other, they then look at each other and smile with Ash and Leaf smiling too. Up in the air Houndstone sees Gengar flying towards it as Ash speaks.
"Gengar use Shadow Ball!" "Houndstone counter with Crunch!" Both trainers call Gengar creates a big ball of ghostly energy and fires it a Houndstone while Houndstone covers its teeth in dark energy and bites the ball easily destroying it. Gengar then appears in front of Houndstone and has its right fist ready as Ash speaks.
"Now Gengar use Shadow Punch!" Ash calls Gengar covers its right fist in ghostly energy and punches Houndstone hard across the face making the dog groan in pain as Leaf speaks.
"Houndstone use Snarl!" Leaf calls Houndstone roars right in Gengar's face and sends out multiple rings of dark energy that hit the ghost. Gengar's then pushed a few feet back and feels as though its special attack power has decreased as Leaf speaks.
"Now Krookodile use Foul Play then Crunch!" Leaf calls Krookodile covers its body in dark energy jumps in the air and heads for Gengar as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile quick use Focus Blast to stop Krookodile!" "Oh no you don't Houndstone use Play Rough on Krookodile!" "Krookodile quick dodge!" Both trainers call when Ash's Krookodile goes to fire the move it sees Houndstone glow in fairy energy and is going to bite it. Krookodile quickly jumps back dodging the attack while Houndstone lands back on the ground. Meanwhile up in the air Leaf's Krookodile is getting closer to Gengar and has its teeth ready as Ash speaks.
"Gengar quick use Phantom Force to dodge!" Ash calls just when Leaf's Krookodile's about to bite it Gengar summons a portal behind it and goes into it dodging the attack as Leaf speaks.
"Krookodile be careful Gengar can appear from anywhere!" Leaf says with Krookodile nodding as it begins to look around. As Krookodile's looking around unbeknownst to it Gengar's portal appears right above Krookodile, Gengar shoots downward heading for Krookodile and has its right fist ready as Ash speaks.
"Gengar use Ice Punch!" Ash calls Gengar covers its right fist in ice and goes to punch the croc as Leaf smiles and speaks.
"Krookodile dodge then use High Horsepower!" Leaf calls when Gengar's just inches away from hitting Krookodile, Krookodile instantly moves to the right avoiding Gengar's punch surprising the ghost along with Ash. Krookodile then gains an orange outline and punches Gengar hard in the face with its left fist sending the ghost crashing back down on the ground as Ash speaks.
"Gengar!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Gengar stands back up and is ready to continue. Ash's Krookodile goes over to Gengar asking if it's alright with Gengar nodding as they then look forward and see Leaf's Krookodile land next to Houndstone. The 4-mons look at each other as Ash begins to think.
"Man, her Krookodile's as strong as ever and her Houndstone's strong too how can I beat them?" Ash says to himself as he continues to think Leaf speaks.
"If you're not going to attack then I will! Krookodile use Stone Edge!" Leaf calls Krookodile roars as it summons multiple large stones around it and fires them at Ash's Krookodile and Gengar as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile destroy them with Dragon Claw and Gengar dodge!" Ash calls his Krookodile covers both of its claws in green dragon energy and begins to easily destroy the sharp stones while Gengar's easily dodging them Leaf speaks.
"Okay Krookodile run over to Gengar and use Crunch!" "Krookodile use Stone Edge!" "Houndstone use Hyper Beam on Krookodile!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile covers its teeth in dark energy and begins running towards Gengar. Ash's Krookodile destroys one more Stone Edge and is about to fire its own at Leaf's Krookodile. But Houndstone fires a big Hyper Beam that heads for Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile block and Gengar dodge the Crunch then use Will-O-Wisp on Houndstone!" Ash calls when the Hyper Beam goes to hit Krookodile the croc quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack as it explodes. Back to Gengar Leaf's Krookodile goes to bite it with Crunch but Gengar manages to easily dodge then creates 5 ghostly wisps and sends them at Houndstone as Leaf speaks.
"That won't work! Houndstone use Protect!" Leaf calls when Houndstone's about to summon a barrier Ash speaks.
"Now Krookodile!" Ash calls as out from underneath Houndstone Krookodile appears and punches Houndstone across the face surprising Leaf as she speaks.
"But how?!" Leaf says as she then looks over at where Krookodile was before and now sees a hole then thinks.
"I see so after he had Krookodile block the Hyper Beam he then had it dig underground and stopped Houndstone from using Protect as he knew I go for that" Leaf says to herself as she smiles with Ash smiling too. After that the 5 wisps then hit Houndstone and begin to burn it making the dog cry out in pain. Off to the side Tracey speaks.
"This is just a guess, but I believe that Leaf's Houndstone has the Fluffy ability which usually halves the damage taken by moves that make contact. But if it's a fire move it doubles the damage." Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"Do you think Ash knows that?" Misty asks but Tracey doesn't know. Back on the battlefield Ash calls for his next command.
"Okay Krookodile finish Houndstone off with Fire Fang!" "Krookodile stop it with Stone Edge!" "Gengar use Psychic and send that Stone Edge back!" Both trainers call Ash's Krookodile covers its teeth in fire and begins falling towards Houndstone. Leaf's Krookodile quickly fires a large Stone Edge, but Ash's Gengar catches it with Psychic and sends it back towards Krookodile as Leaf speaks.
"Use Dig then Crunch!" Leaf calls her Krookodile quickly digs underground and dodges the attack. A couple seconds later Leaf's Krookodile bursts from under Gengar as both trainers speak.
"DO IT!" Ash and Leaf say as their respective Krookodile's bite their opponents. Ash's Krookodile burns Houndstone causing the mon to cry out in pain as it then lays on the ground while Leaf's Krookodile bites down on Ash's Gengar causing super effective damage then throws Gengar back down on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears both Krookodile's look and see that their respective opponent is unable to battle as Don George speaks.
"Both Houndstone and Gengar are unable to battle!" Don George says off to the side Misty speaks.
"They both defeated an opponent at the same time" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"Yep, and we know what this means" Tracey says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield both Krookodile's roar as they both gain a Moxie boost then stare at each other. Leaf's Krookodile also feels as though its Crunch move has been disabled thanks to Ash's Gengar's Cursed Body ability. After that Ash returns Gengar while Leaf returns Houndstone they both tell their Pokémon thank you/good job then look forward as Don George speaks.
"This is the final battle both trainers have 1 Pokémon left whoever defeats their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" Don George says with everyone agreeing as Leaf looks at Ash and speaks.
"This battle so far has been fun Ash but the one winning this battle and getting that Shiny Charm is me!" Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"Sorry Leaf but that Shiny Charm's going to be mine!" Ash says with Pikachu agreeing making Leaf smile as Don George speaks.
"Now Let the Battle Continue!" Don George says. Both trainers then get serious looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.
"Here we come Ash! Krookodile use Dragon Pulse!" Leaf calls her Krookodile roars as it covers its mouth in purple draconic energy and fires it towards Ash's Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile block with Dragon Claw!" Ash calls his Krookodile covers its claws in green dragon energy and blocks the attack as it explodes. Once the explosion clears Leaf's Krookodile appears in front of Ash's as Leaf speaks.
"Now use High Horsepower!" "Dodge Krookodile!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile gains an orange outline and goes to punch Ash's Krookodile with its right fist. Ash's Krookodile manages to easily dodge by moving to the left, but Leaf was expecting that and calls for her next command.
"Now use Aqua Tail!" Leaf calls her Krookodile covers its tail in water spins around and slaps Ash's Krookodile across the face causing super effective damage as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile use Dragon Tail!" Ash calls his Krookodile covers its tail in green dragon energy spins around and slaps Leaf's Krookodile across the face causing damage as Leaf speaks.
"Okay Krookodile use Fire Fang!" "Krookodile quick use Dig!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile covers its teeth in fire and goes to bite Ash's. But Ash's Krookodile quickly digs underground and dodges the attack as Leaf speaks.
"Krookodile use Sand Tomb!" Leaf calls her Krookodile roars as the battlefield that Krookodile dug into becomes a tomb of sand. Inside the sand we see Ash's Krookodile trapped in it as Leaf speaks.
"Now use Stone Edge!" "Krookodile quick use Dragon Tail to propel yourself out of their then use Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile, creates multiple large sharp stones around it and fires them at Ash's Krookodile. Ash's Krookodile sees the sharp stones coming it quickly covers its tail in green dragon energy and slaps it on the sand successfully propelling itself out of the tomb. Now that Krookodile's in the air it looks at Leaf's Krookodile then shoots downward at a fast speed then punches Leaf's Krookodile hard in the face with its right fist making the mon slide back a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Great job Krookodile let's keep up the pressure use Crunch!" Ash calls his Krookodile roars as it covers its teeth in dark energy and begins running towards Leaf's Krookodile going to bite it as Leaf speaks.
"Krookodile counter with Dragon Pulse!" "Quick Krookodile use Dig!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile covers its mouth in purple draconic energy and fires it at Ash's Krookodile. Ash's Krookodile quickly manages to dig underground and successfully avoids the Dragon Pulse. Ash's Krookodile doesn't stay underground for long as a few seconds later it bursts from the ground and is now a few feet behind Leaf's Krookodile. Ash's Krookodile has multiple sharp stones around it with Leaf's Krookodile looking at the mon as both trainers speak.
"Use Stone Edge!" Both trainers call the 2 crocs roar as they create multiple large sharp stones and fire them at each other. Once the stones connect, they begin causing multiple explosions. Once all of the sharp stones are gone the battlefield is now covered in a big cloud of smoke as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile be careful Leaf's Krookodile can appear from anywhere!" Ash says with the croc nodding as it begins to cautiously look around. As Krookodile continues to look around unbeknownst to it Leaf's Krookodile is slowly creeping up behind it and has its teeth ready as Leaf speaks.
"Now use Fire Fang!" Leaf calls as her Krookodile covers its teeth in fire and shoots forward going to bite Ash's Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile intercept with Dragon Tail!" "Dodge Krookodile!" Both trainers call Ash's Krookodile covers its tail in green dragon energy and goes to hit Leaf's Krookodile. But Leaf's Krookodile manages to easily dodge by moving to the right it's now in front of Ash's Krookodile and has its fists ready as Leaf speaks.
"Now Close Combat!" Leaf calls before Ash can make a command in time Leaf's Krookodile shoots forward and begins to repeatedly punch Ash's Krookodile with each punch hurting more than the last and causing super effective damage. Leaf's Krookodile then punches Ash's Krookodile one more time with its right fist making the mon slide back a few feet away and groan in pain as Leaf speaks.
"Okay Krookodile finish it off with High Horsepower!" Leaf calls her Krookodile roars as it gains an orange outline and runs forward going to hit Ash's Krookodile with its left fist as Ash speaks.
"Krookodile dodge then use Dragon Claw!" Ash calls his Krookodile quickly moves to the left dodging the attack then quickly covers its right claws in green dragon energy and jabs Leaf's Krookodile hard in the stomach making the mon cough as Leaf speaks.
"Now use High Horsepower!" "Krookodile dodge!" Both trainers call when Ash's goes to dodge it's unable to as Leaf's Krookodile is holding onto the mons right arm with its left hand. Leaf's Krookodile then gains an orange outline clinches its right fist and punches Ash's Krookodile hard in the face causing super effective damage and making it stumble back. Leaf's Krookodile then gets its tail ready as Leaf speaks.
"Now use Aqua Tail!" "Krookodile counter with Dragon Tail!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile covers its tail in water while Ash's Krookodile covers its tail in green dragon energy. The 2-mons spin around and collide with their tails that creates a shockwave getting rid of the dust. The 2-mons begin trying to knock the others tail away as Leaf speaks.
"Use Close Combat!" "Dodge Krookodile then when you see an opening use Brick Break!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile shoots forward and goes to punch Ash's Krookodile, but the mon begins to dodge. As Ash's Krookodile continues to dodge it then ducks Leaf's Krookodile's right fist and sees an opening. It clinches its right fist and goes to upper cut Leaf's Krookodile as Leaf speaks.
"Dodge Krookodile then use your Brick Break!" Leaf calls her Krookodile manages to back away in time dodging the fist. Leaf's Krookodile's left hand then glows as it chops down hard on Ash's Krookodile's head causing super effective damage. Ash's Krookodile groans in pain then sees Leaf's Krookodile covering its mouth in purple draconic energy as Leaf speaks.
"Now use Dragon Pulse!" "Dodge Krookodile and use Focus Blast!" Both trainers call Leaf's Krookodile roars as it fires a big purple draconic beam that goes to hit its opponent. Ash's Krookodile quickly moves to the right and avoids the blast. Ash's Krookodile then runs forward it quickly charges the ball of orange energy in its right hand as Ash speaks.
"Now fire it Krookodile!" Ash calls Krookodile roars and throws the ball at Leaf's Krookodile's chest causing the mon to cough in pain and create an explosion. Leaf's Krookodile appears out of the explosion and lands on its back a few feet away as Leaf speaks.
"Krookodile!" Leaf calls in worry as her Krookodile groans in pain from the super effective attack but it pushes past the pain and stands back up letting out a mighty roar showcasing that it can still battle as Ash speaks.
"Man, it can still continue" Ash says as he looks at his Krookodile and sees it panting heavily. Leaf looks at her Krookodile and sees it panting heavily as well then speaks.
"Looks like our Krookodile's are getting tired the battle's going to end soon" Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, and it'll end in our victory right Krookodile?!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as his Krookodile roars in agreement making Leaf smile as she speaks.
"We'll see about that! Krookodile hang in there just a little bit longer!" Leaf says with the croc nodding as it stares at Ash's Krookodile with the mon staring back. Off to the side Tracey speaks.
"This is it, it'll all come down to whoever lands the final hit" Tracey says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield the 2 trainers and their Pokémon continue to stare at each other until they feel a gentle wind breeze Leaf speaks.
"This is it Krookodile let's put everything we got into this! Use Hone Claws Then High Horsepower!" Leaf calls her Krookodile roars as it increases its attack/accuracy. Leaf's Krookodile gains an orange outline and begins running towards Ash's Krookodile as Ash speaks.
"We're going to give everything we got too Krookodile! Charge up your strongest Focus Blast and when Leaf's Krookodile gets close enough fire it!" Ash calls with his Krookodile roaring as it puts its hands together and begins to charge up the ball of fighting energy. As Ash's Krookodile is charging up the ball Leaf's Krookodile is getting closer and closer. Once Leaf's Krookodile gets close enough Ash's Krookodile feels that it's ready with Ash feeling the same as he speaks.
"NOW FIRE IT KROOKODILE!" "KROOK!" Ash and Krookodile yell as the croc launches a big Focus Blast that goes to hit Leaf's Krookodile. Just when Leaf's Krookodile and the Focus Blast are about to connect Leaf smirks and speaks.
"Sorry Ash but I win Krookodile use Substitute!" Leaf calls surprising Ash as he speaks.
"It knows Substitute?!" Ash says in surprise as when the Focus Blast is about to connect with Leaf's Krookodile her Krookodile creates a clone that takes its place instead causing the move to explode. Ash then looks in the air and sees Leaf's Krookodile falling towards Ash's and is clinching its left fist as Leaf speaks.
"NOW DO IT KROOKODILE END IT WITH HIGH HORSEPOWER!" "KROOKODILE DODGE!" Both trainers call Ash's Krookodile's unable to dodge in time as Leaf's Krookodile roars and punches Ash's Krookodile hard in the face and causing both mons to crash on the ground. Once they crash on the ground there's a big explosion that causes the entire battlefield to shake as Ash speaks.
"KROOKODILE!" Ash calls in worry as a few seconds later the shaking stops and the smoke begins to clear. Once the smoke fully clears everyone can see Ash's Krookodile laying on its back knocked out while Leaf's Krookodile is standing over it and is panting heavily. Don George then makes the call.
"Contestant Ash's Krookodile is unable to battle making contestant Leaf's Krookodile the winner! Seeing as contestant Ash has no more Pokémon left this means that contestant Leaf is declared the winner of the battle!" Don George says as Leaf gets a big smile on her face and speaks.
"OH! YEAH!" Leaf yells happily and jumps high in the air and her Krookodile roars in victory. The crowd of trainers that were watching clap for her and Krookodile as Misty speaks.
"So, in the end Leaf won" Misty says with Tracey nodding back on the battlefield Leaf lands back on the ground then runs over to Krookodile gives the mon a big hug and speaks.
"Great job Krookodile I knew you could do it!" Leaf says making the croc smile. Meanwhile, over with Ash he has a surprised look on his face, Ash continues to look surprised until Pikachu speaks.
"Pika?" Pikachu says asking Ash if he's okay. Ash then breaks out of his shock he lets out a sigh, smiles and speaks.
"Well, you can't win them all and don't worry Pikachu I'm okay just surprised is all" Ash says with Pikachu nodding as they then begin walking over to Krookodile.
"Once they get close enough Ash gently lifts up the crocs head as the mon looks at Ash and Pikachu as Ash speaks.
"Hey Krookodile, are you okay?" Ash asks with Krookodile saying it is but is also sorry that it lost as Ash speaks.
"It's okay Krookodile you and Gengar did your best in the end Leaf just outsmarted us" Ash says with Krookodile nodding. Ash then helps the croc stand up once he does Leaf along with her Krookodile walk over to them, once they get close enough Leaf looks at them and speaks.
"Hey Ash, that was a great battle!" Leaf says as Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Yeah, it was my Pokémon, and I had a blast. Also, I wasn't expecting you to call for Substitute" Ash says as Leaf speaks.
"After our battle in the Kanto League I wanted to teach my Pokémon Substitute too and surprise you with it. I'm happy that I did teach Krookodile Substitute because otherwise that Focus Blast would've knocked out Krookodile" Leaf says with her Krookodile agreeing as Ash speaks.
"True but even if your Krookodile didn't have Substitute I'm confident that you would've thought of something else" Ash says with Leaf nodding as Ash then holds out his right hand and speaks.
"Anyway, congratulations on winning Leaf" Ash says while smiling with Pikachu and Krookodile smiling too as Leaf smiles and speaks.
"Thanks Ash!" Leaf says as she then grabs Ash's right hand with her right-hand Ash then speaks.
"Also, you may have won this time but next time my Pokémon and I will be the winners" Ash says while having a confident look on his face with Pikachu and Krookodile having the same look as Leaf speaks.
"We'll see about that" Leaf says as she along with her Krookodile have confident looks on their faces too as the 2 trainers then shake hands causing everyone to clap for them. After that 10 minutes go by and we see the trainers gather at the main battlefield and are looking at the stage. On the stage we see Leaf, her Venusaur, shiny Krookodile, Houndstone, Toucannon, Flamigo and Boltund standing together. Everyone then see Don George walk up on the stage and goes towards Leaf. Once he reaches her, he looks at Leaf and speaks.
"You've showcased just how skilled you are in battle, so I reward you with this the Shiny Charm and I hope it brings you luck in finding shiny Pokémon" Don George says as he hands the charm to Leaf who takes it. Leaf looks at the charm, gets a big smile on her face and speaks.
"We Just Got the Shiny Charm!" Leaf says while doing a pose as her Pokémon happily roar while the crowd claps for her. Once that's over the group head back to the Pokémon Center after Ash and Leaf heal up their Pokémon they head back to the shore as it's time to leave the island. Before they leave Misty looks at Leaf's Shiny Charm and speaks.
"I've to say it's pretty" Misty says with Togepi and Leaf agreeing with her as Tracey speaks.
"Now that you have the shiny charm you should be able to find shiny Pokémon more easily and since you also have the catching charm catching them will be easy too" Tracey says with Leaf nodding as she speaks.
"I know right with these two charms in my hands there's no Pokémon I can't catch. So, look out Pokémon because your soon to be master is coming for you!" Leaf says while having an excited look on her face as Ash speaks.
"So, how do they work?" Ash asks as Leaf speaks.
"That's simple Ash you just….. Wait how do they work?" Leaf says while having a confused look on her face as Tracey speaks.
"I don't think you can manually turn it on it's like Don George said it's all purely luck based so while it does increase the odds of you finding a shiny Pokémon it doesn't mean that you'll find one instantly. Also, even if you do try to catch a shiny Pokémon there's no guarantee that you'll catch it in one try" Tracey says with Leaf nodding as she speaks.
"Aw man and I was so excited too" Leaf says while having a disappointed look on her face as Misty speaks.
"Even though it won't happen instantly I'm sure that you'll be able to find and catch a shiny Pokémon one day Leaf" Misty says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, Misty's right Leaf when it comes to catching Pokémon, you're second to none" Ash says making Leaf smile as she speaks.
"Yeah! You guys are right even though I won't find a shiny right away the moment I do I'll catch it!" Leaf says while having an excited look on her face as the group smile. Pikachu's ears then suddenly perk up as Ash speaks.
"Is something wrong Pikachu?" Ash asks as the mouse points towards the water causing everyone to look. As they're looking suddenly a small blue Pokémon with two antennae appears it looks at the group and speaks.
"Chin" The mon says as Misty gets hearts in her eyes and speaks.
"It's a Chinchou!" Misty says happily as Ash and Leaf pull out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Chinchou, the Angler Pokémon and a pure Water Type. They have the ability to conduct electrical currents from their two tentacles, which flow positive from one end and negative from the other. Chinchou can also communicate underwater by flashing its tentacles." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's what it is" Ash says as Tracey speaks.
"I wasn't expecting to see a Chinchou here I gotta sketch it" Tracey says as he pulls out his notebook Leaf speaks.
"Hey guys I could just be seeing things, but doesn't it look sort of different in the Pokedex?" Leaf asks as the group look at the mons picture in the dex and see the difference surprising them as Ash speaks.
"You're right it is slightly different" Ash says as Tracey speaks.
"Instead of having yellow eyes and bulbs its eyes and bulbs are green. Also, its skin is a slightly dark blue" Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"So, taking all that into consideration that means it's a-" Before Misty could finish Leaf speaks.
"IT'S A SHINYYYYYYYY!" Leaf yells in surprise which scares the Chinchou as it begins to swim away surprising the group as Misty speaks.
"It's swimming away!" Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Ash quick send out Lapras we need to go after it!" Leaf says with Ash nodding as he quickly sends out the mon. The group quickly get on Lapras's back and begin chasing after the Chinchou as Misty speaks.
"I can't believe that a shiny Chinchou appeared!" Misty says with Ash and Tracey saying the same thing as Leaf speaks.
"I told you guys that the shiny charm works" Leaf says with the group nodding as they continue to go after Chinchou Tracey speaks.
"Oh no it looks like it's about to dive underwater once it does it will be hard to find it!" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"Not on my watch because I'm going to catch it" Leaf states as she gets a serious look on her face and pulls out a Dive Ball as Ash speaks.
"Is that a Dive Ball?" Ash asks with Leaf nodding as she speaks.
"Yeah, I managed to keep a few after our time in the Safari Zone and I'm going to use it to catch the Chinchou" Leaf says with the group nodding as Leaf takes a deep breath then speaks.
"Chinchou you're mine! GO! Dive Ball!" Leaf says as she throws the ball forward just when Chinchou's about to dive under water the dive ball hits it and sucks the mon inside. Once it does the ball lands on the surface of the water and begins to shake. As the ball is shaking everyone looks at it seeing if Chinchou will break out, the ball then shakes one more time until it dings confirming the capture. Lapras then swims over to the ball, picks it up with its mouth and hands it to Leaf who has a big smile on her face and speaks.
"I Just Caught a Shiny Chinchou!" Leaf says happily with the group congratulating her after that the ball disappears heading for Oak's lab as Misty speaks.
"Looks like those charms do work" Misty says with Ash and Tracey nodding as Leaf speaks.
"I know right! And it's making the catcher blood in me boil in excitement I haven't felt this excited about catching Pokémon since traveling through Kanto" Leaf says with the group nodding as Leaf continues to speak.
"And now that I captured that shiny Chinchou there are many other Pokémon that want me to catch them. Okay Lapras Onward!" Leaf says with the mon nodding as Lapras begins to swim forward Ash speaks.
"Hey Leaf! Lapras's my Pokémon only I'm allowed to give her commands!" Ash says but Leaf completely ignores him making Ash annoyed as Tracey speaks.
"I think we should let Leaf have this" Tracey says with Misty agreeing as she speaks.
"Yeah, we've mainly been focusing on your goal while Leaf's put hers in the backseat" Misty says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah, you're right and besides I captured a new Pokémon today, so I'm satisfied right Pikachu?" Ash says with Pikachu nodding making Misty and Tracey smile as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah! Keep going forward Lapras onward to a new adventure!" Leaf says with Lapras nodding as she continues to swim forward into the sunset. We now cut away from the group and go back to the 4 Hexagon brothers that were sent blasting off. They've made it to the top of the Cipher building and begin walking towards a door as they hear a voice.
"You guys look like you had a rough day" The voice says as the 4 of them turn around and see Resix and Blusix looking at them as Blusix speaks.
"Why're you guys so beat up? It was a simple restocking mission" Blusix asks as Purpsix speaks.
"Ask these 3 I'm going to go report to the boss" Purpsix says as he goes through a door and enters the boss's room as Resix speaks.
"Geez what's wrong with him?" Resix asks as Greesix, Yellosix, and Browsix begin to explain their encounter with the group. Meanwhile, inside the boss's room Purpsix gave his report to Greevil Purpsix then speaks.
"So, you see Greevil sir as long as those kids are out there, they'll keep getting in our way, so I suggest we permanently get rid of them especially that boy with the Pikachu" Purpsix says as Greevil thinks for a few seconds and speaks.
"My answer is no" Greevil says surprising Purpsix as he speaks.
"No? What do you mean No?! Didn't you hear what I said?!" Purpsix yells in anger as Greevil speaks.
"Yes, yes I heard and while I do see where you're coming from you also need to consider that it was your fault" Greevil says as Purpsix speaks.
"My fault how is it my fault?!" Purpsix asks as Greevil speaks.
"Hmm let's see you said that your mission was a simple restock mission, yes? There was nothing in the description that told you or your brothers to chase after a Tepig that looked like an Umbreon or face the child of the so-called Legendary Trainer Red and his friends, right?" Greevil asks as Purpsix speaks.
"But not only did they have strong Pokémon they also defeated Greesix, Resix, and Bluesix before so we had to get our revenge" Purpsix says as Greevil speaks.
"And look what happened you lost anyway and now you along with your brothers are on wanted posters that are all over the Orange Islands now. So, tell me was it really worth it?" Greevil asks as he throws the 6 wanted posters of the brothers on the table showing Purpsix as the man speaks.
"It… it" Purpsix says while stuttering as Greevil speaks.
"I'm sorry what was that? I can't hear you because of your stuttering" Greevil says making Purpsix angry, but the man holds his tongue, calms down and speaks.
"No, it wasn't worth it sir" Purpsix says making Greevil happy as he speaks.
"Good I'm glad that you understand" Greevil says as Purpsix speaks.
"But Greevil sir those kids still concern me" Purpsix says as Greevil speaks.
"Yes, these children have proven to be strong, but I believe that it would be best to let Team Snagem and that Hunter J person deal with them while we continue to collect as many Pokémon as we can understood?" Greevil says with Purpsix nodding as he speaks.
"Yes, Greevil sir I understand" Purpsix says with Greevil nodding as he speaks.
"Good if you understand then leave already and get yourself cleaned up, you're getting water all over my clean floor" Greevil says with Purpsix nodding as he then leaves the room to join his brothers as they all head back to their respective rooms. We then see Greevil still sitting in his office as he speaks.
"So, Red Ketchum's son and his little friends are going continue to get in our way? Well soon yes very soon that won't matter as neither them nor Red will be able to defeat me once I have you and the whole world will be mine" Greevil says while looking at a picture of a Lugia and has an evil smile on his face as the chapter comes to an end.
Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. Whew long chapter this week this originally wasn't supposed to be as long as it was but like I've done before more ideas started popping into my head and I wanted to write them down. Tell me, did you guys guess right that Tepig was going to be the abandoned Pokémon in this chapter? I decided to have Tepig appear earlier than he did in the canon story as I won't be able to reach the Unova region for a while, so I decided to put him here. Also, I wanted to give him some focus as he'll be able to train with Ash's other fire types and grow strong too.
How did you guys feel about the outcome of Ash and Leaf's battle? Originally, I was going to have Ash win but then I thought that seeing as Ash already won the Dog & Cat competition, I felt that it was only fair for Leaf to win this tournament. I also felt that seeing as Leaf already has the catching charm her having the shiny charm makes since as her goal is mainly to become a professor and she's more passionate about catching Pokémon than Ash is (Even though Ash loves catching Pokémon too). Just like what I said about Hunter J in the end of last chapter the group will run into the Hexagon Brothers again but not for a long time since now that they've wanted posters, they'll have to be more careful when they go around trying to take Pokémon. Lastly what do you guys think Greevil's plan for Lugia is?
Next chapter will come out next week it'll focus on the gang reuniting with Wartortle's old Squirtle Squad buddies again and help them out in a firefighter showdown I hope you all look forward to it.
