"But I'm bored at this place, I want to see Heine!"

Determine to snuck out for tonight, Viktor wish his own success not to be caught or be hinder again by some circumstances that he can't really not sleep for tonight.

Meanwhile...

It has been 2 weeks and no signs of Viktor coming back. At first it did not bother Heine so much since he is also very busy himself despite being a jobless street rat.

'Did something happen to that guy?'

Heine just thought that Viktor wherever he lives must have been either grounded by his parents or they made up and decided to no longer run away.

That assumption made Heine frown at himself, he almost convince himself that was the case.

Pouting, 'He could have said goodbye if that is the case.' Right now it is around 7pm. In a place where awful stench comes from is very normal. What is not normal is ..

'This smell...!' As Heine's nose perks up the scent drawing near his eye view. Heine smirks a little bit and jumps down from the tunnel's stairs down to the cement.

"I knew you'd come." There he is...Viktor, his daily night time playmate.

A little bit surprised that Heine is in a very good mood to greet him out of blue. Usually Viktor is the one doing the greetings.

Freak out a bit, "H-How did you know? It has been two weeks since my last visit!"

Heine shrugs, "It's your scent." Viktor's mouth gawks and begins to sniff his own clothes. "Eh? I smell funny...?"

Seeing how Viktor went to a clean freak about his own appearance and smell to visit this sluggish place.

Heine is never waver to this entertainment. "Ahaha." Letting out a mocking chuckle. Heine pats his shoulder despite being smaller, he manage.

"You really are an interesting fellow Viktor."

This time Viktor gave him a puzzled look, "Then what do you mean by my scent?" Viktor hoped it is not something that would break his manly confidence.

Heine rubs the back of his head and walks away. "Idiot. It's the other way round." It is like an automatic ritual that Heine walks away and Viktor would just follow him from behind as they converse. "You are the only one who does not smell like the sewers."

Feeling embarrassed, Viktor face went red as he now understood what Heine meant.

It is his fragrance and the fact he takes daily baths will give away his identity from a commoner to an actual higher status. "T-that's!" This revelation trouble Viktor gravely.

Heine noticed how Viktor went red then eyes starts to went dizzy. Heine did not meant to scare him away but it is indeed strange.

"I don't know your reasons why you keep running away from your household, but..." as the little red haired stop his tracks, Viktor follows.

"Heine?" Trying to read Heine's body language from behind, Heine turns around with his long red hair bangs covers his shy eyes but visible reddish cheeks.

"Thank you for always dropping by Viktor. It means a lot of help."

This made Viktor felt like he got his best achievement for tonight's adventure. "Of course! For you Heine! Hehe."

Hugging the smaller figure, Heine let a disgusted remark. "Eew, so clingy." But he did not push away.

"I love you Heine!" Patting Heine's hair just to tease him more. "Hey! Stop that Viktor! You are ruining my hair!"

It amazes Heine how Viktor can just say the word like and love so easily while he himself still struggling to say those words as they felt very embarrassing. After all Heine is a shy type as for Viktor that bubbly person.

Pulling away from the hug.

"Well then what is our mission for today?!" After a heart felt moment between then, Heine turned serious as he reveals tonight's scouting. "Tonight I want you to tell us where the nobles business are."

Viktor whose not bothered by it but just a bit concerned, his shoulder slumps and it gives away his disappointment.

"I see, you will steal again." Heine arch an eyebrow as he still can't really memorize Viktor's split personality moments. "You sound like as if you haven't seen us done it before."

Finally they have reach the hideout where the kids are all behaving themselves on their own business. Most of them are just curling themselves to gain heat from little fabric.

Continuing the conversation, Viktor took some of the dirty cloaks Heine toss to him.

"Mmhh...no, I mean..." watching the smaller figure, Viktor can't help but share his thoughts rather than keeping hos curiosity to himself.

"You sleep on day time, you work in afternoon to carry liquor boxes. Of course I help you with that, but then you...at night would become a robin hood for the other stray kids." Heine froze.

For a moment he was fearing his secret as Heinrich has been discovered. 'Could it be he found out?' Only to hear and see a very earn smile from Viktor's eyes and his voice projection.

"I really think that is admirable Heine."

Eyes widen. Heine felt bad for being suspicious of Viktor's straight forward eyes that only watches him with no doubts.

"Viktor..."

Badump...))

Heine closed his eyes and opens them again to hide up his emotions feeling happy someone acknowledge his hard works. Viktor then rapidly wear his armor cloak to hide into the dark night.

"Well then! It is not like those nobles cares about their luxurious stuffs. I will lead the way!"

[['I was helping Heine and the other kids on their nightly patrol to steal from rich homes. Little did I know that was not the case...they weren't just stealing. They are actually plotting...something Heine never had told me nor showed me signs. After all, Heine is a dark night vigilante.']]
