Orange Islands/Sevii Islands Saga
Chapter 56
Orange League! Natsukan and Navel Islands!
Today, our heroes are on a new adventure. Exploring the Orange Islands, as Ash Ketchum, Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Chibiusa, Hotaru, Naru Osaka, Duplica, Erika, Jeanette Fisher, Unazuki, May, Misty, Verity, Setsuna Meiou, Daisy, Lilly, Violet, Mamoru, Sorrel, Haruka Tenoh, and Michiru Kaioh set out to qualify for the Orange League, with their new friend Tracey tagging along, and Hotaru caught her first Pokémon, Lapras. This time, Ami and Michiru get to be the leaders, while Ash is relaxing with Makoto and Rei who are still in their bikinis and Hotaru is in her swimsuit still and she is admiring the sea.
"I think my Lapras is having fun." Hotaru giggled
"She really likes you." Chibiusa agreed
"Hotaru, I'm really happy that you caught your very first Pokémon." Ash said proudly
"Chu."
"Yeah, and even with all of us riding, Blastoise, Gayrados and Lapras have really good speed." Tracy added
"Well, Lapras have a speed stat of 60, so that's no surprise." Ami assured "By the looks of the water, the sea seems very calm."
"No waves here." Minako nodded
Then Rei and Makoto are becoming very affectionate toward Ash, as they pulled him close to them, with Ash laying on Makoto's large cleavage and Rei embracing by wrapping her arms around him
"There's no hurry sweetie, so we shouldn't rush." Snuggled Rei "The next island is not going anywhere."
"We oughta just take our time and enjoy the ride." Makoto said rubbing his hair "Say, if you snuggle with us and meditate at the same time, it's kinda like spiritual training."
"You know, I would like to eat something soon." Usagi said as her stomach growls
"Well, we can get something on Natsukan Island if you want." Makoto said "Or I along with Ashy, Rei and Ami could whip up something good for us when we get there!"
"Natsukan Island?" Misty and May asked
"Yeah. One of the Orange League gyms is there, too." Replied Makoto "If we want to be in the Orange League, then that was gonna be our first stop, anyway."
"Hm…. The first Orange Island gym…. Me and Pikachu need to prepare for that." Ash murmured
"Pikachu."
"Sweetie, let's snuggle up before we enter Natsukan Island." Rei said as she lays her head on his chest
As our heroes press onward, little do they know that they're being watched by Team Rocket through the periscope of their Magikarp submarine, then once they got tired, James and Meowth stop pedaling and the sub sinks, Jessie proceeds to whack James and Meowth with a fan the pedals stop turning, and no matter how hard Team Rocket tries, they won't budge and It's revealed that seaweed jammed the propeller.
Our heroes soon see land which is Natsukan Island and come onto the shore, Natsukan Island (ナツカン島) is an island in the southwestern region of the Orange Archipelago. They saw that the beach is nearly packed with beach goers and the street is on the other side and a town, with a Pokémon Center, and at the end of town was a Gym. Our heroes then recalled their Water Pokémon back to their PokéBalls and Ash stood by Makoto and Rei as they hold his hands.
"Did you feel relaxed?" Makoto asked
"I do feel so relaxed." Ash replied "You deserve good rest, Blastoise."
"Im glad me and Mako cuddling with you in our bikinis made you relaxed." Rei smiled "That way, your mind is all cleared and ready to take on the gym leader. But first we should head to a Pokémon Center."
"Aye, have to keep your ship, or in this case, Pokémon, ship shape." Ash replied like a pirate which made Makoto and Rei giggle
"Pika."
"Say, Ashy after lunch me and Rei should change back to our outfits." Makoto said
"I don't mind." Ash agreed
"Of course you do not mind." Rei smiled
Our heroes soon reach the Pokémon Center in the middle of the town of Natsukan Island, the Natsukan Island Pokémon Center is double storey complex and is located in the town. On the ground floor is a large front desk, seats for the Trainers, and telephones. The second floor's large windows offer a view of the ocean. Ash lets the girls go first on healing their Pokémon and after their turns Ash, Mamoru, Tracy and Sorrel went next on healing their Pokémon. While Ash's Pokémon are getting treated, our heroes contact Professor Oak, Delia, Ikuko to let them know that they made it to Natsukan Island, Ash dailed the number with the girls standing behind him, and Makoto and Rei who are still in their bikinis sat next to him.
"Hi, Professor Oak, Hi Mom, Hi Mrs. Tsukino Just wanted to call and say hello." Ash greeted
"Hi! Professor Oak, Hi Mrs. Ketchum!" The girls greeted and the guys greeted
"Hi, Mom!" Usagi greeted
"Hi Mommy Ikuko!" Chibiusa greeted
"Hi, Mommy Delia!" Hotaru greeted
"Oh, Hi, Everyone and how are you all doing?" Delia asked
"Pikachu."
"We're doing ok, Mrs. Ketchum!" Makoto said as she boobhugs him
"Ashy's been treating us wonderfully!" Rei said as she lays her head on Ash's shoulder
"Oh! I'm so glad. Mako and Rei, you both have your swimsuits on, have you been swimming with my boy?" Delia asked
"We have!" Rei replied
"Usagi, have you and Chibiusa brushed your teeth?" Ikuko asked
"We have!" The two bunnies replied
"Uh, I'm doing fine, too, Professor Oak." Tracy said interrupting them but suddenly, Ash's Muk interrupts him
"Oh, Muk. Take it easy now." Oak soothed
"Ah! Oh, Muk, always hugging us." Delia giggled
"Oh, Professor, Mom, Mrs. Ketchum I almost forgot to tell you. Hotaru caught a Larpas!" Ash said
"That's great news, Ash." Delia replied "Now Hotaru, be sure to train it well."
"Are you all heading to the gym?" Ikuko asked
"Yes, as soon as we get our Pokémon healed." Usagi replied
"I hate to cut this short, but we have to go, Muk is about to make a bed out of me!" Oak gasped
"We will talk to you all later, everyone!" Ikuko said
"Bye!" Everyone waved
"That Muk is literally, and figuratively, a big old softy." Ami smiled
After our heroes go their Pokémon all healed up, and getting a bite to eat, our heroes are now walking down a street, Makoto is now wearing a high-waited pair of pants over an orange sleeveless shirt, and Rei is wearing a pale green-yellow crop-top shirt and blue shorts, Tracy still couldn't believe that Ash and his gang are friends with Professor Oak.
"I still can't believe I have friends who are friends with Professor Oak." Tracy said
"Professor Oak was the one who gave me Pikachu." Ash replied
"And my Pikachu." Hotaru said
"Same with Mine, Usagi's, Rei's, Mako's and Minako's starters." Ami said
"I had no idea Professor Oak was so famous." May mentioned
"Well, neither did the rest of us, Misty." Rei said
"Are you kidding? I bet just about every Pokémon Watcher in the world dreams of having one of their reports reviewed by Professor Oak!" Tracy beamed "I sure hope I get to meet him."
"Sounds like, Professor Oak's a superstar.
"And here we thought he was just a regular Pokémon researcher." Ash sighed
"I guess we'll have to get his autograph, then." Minako snickered "Tracey, I hate to change the subject, but what's the Natsukan gym leader like?"
"They say the Natsukan gym leader's one of the toughest trainers in the orange crew." Tracy said
"Looks like we got to train for this one, Pikachu." Ash reminded "A match with one of the toughest trainers in the Orange Crew."
"Now we can hardly wait!" Makoto beamed
"Hey, it's on the other side of town! I see it!" Usagi cried
And there it was, the Natsukan Gym, which has a curved roof and was shown to have automated features, such as moving walls and floors. Its standard battlefield can also transform into a pool. The beach near the Gym is also buoyed off for Pokémon Surfing races, Ash and our heroes and the Moon cats are now at the front doors of the gym.
"So here it is, the Natsukan Gym." Ash awed
"Pika."
"Hey, Ami, since water is your specialty, how about you ring the doorbell." Minako suggested
"I'm not sure if Pokemon Gyms have Doorbells." Ami hesitated
"Hey, Minako, I spy a coconut." Usagi said "I bet you can't crack it for its coconut milk."
"I bet a can." Minako smirked
"They got distracted by a coconut?" Rei sighed
"Seriously?" Makoto asked
"Come on, you two, quit clowning around." Warned Ash
"Chu."
"Who's clowning?!" Usagi and Minako glared as they both lean toward the Coconut and just as Minako picks up the coconut, a shower of water drops on her, Usagi and their Pikachus.
"Usagi! Minako!" The gang cried
"Come on, you two." Luna sighed
Then suddenly they heard some laughter coming from nearby, and it is revealed to be a prank.
"Ha! Ha! Gotcha!" A voice called
"Who's got us?!" Usagi demanded
"Look! There's a string attached to the coconut!" Erika cried "And it's tied to a rope that leads up into the tree Where a bucket of water was waiting!"
Ash looks up and sees the bucket "It was a trap!"
"You can't be very good trainers if you fell for a trick like that." The voice said
"Hey, I was the one who pulled that coconut!" Minako shouted "and for your information, we were good enough to compete in the Indigo Pokémon League and become champions!"
"Oh! The Indigo Pokémon League." The voice said sarcastically "You guys came in first place and became champions, so what? Indigo Leagues only for brainless idiots!"
Ami covered her mouth and started crying softly and berried her head on Ash's chest and he comforts his number one favorite girl.
"Hey, we're not brainless! We were champions and we even beat Gary Oak, if you should pick on someone it should be him not us!" Ash shouted then turned to Ami "There there, Ami he was only joking about it."
Then Ami calms down and smiled "I'm glad, Ashy love." She spoke gently
"Besides, I was the one who lead us there and I made a lovely harem along the way and overcame obstacles." Ash said
"Did you mention Gary Oak? That ass face?" The voice asked "He went to blow off steam in the Sevii Islands. If you both want to get in, you have to battle me."
"Careful guys, this could be another trap." Ash murmured
"Pika."
"Are you starting trouble again? You're supposed to be inside cleaning your room." A female voice called
"Uh, I was, sissy. But then, I caught these kids about to ring the doorbell!" The voice said
"We're trainers and we came to challenge the gym leader!" Ash said
"Just lead us to the gym leader and there won't be anymore problems." Ami said holding Ash's hand as she is wearing a simple blue halter dress with a white trim along the hem. She ties it all together with a pale blue belt and matching flats.
Then who came out of the shadows is a beautiful girl with brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a long pink skirt with pockets, black sleeveless shirt and white shoes, her name is Atsumi
"Oh, you did? Well, my name is Atsumi, I'm the Natsukan gym leader, and I accept of your challenges!" Atsumi introduced
"Nice to meet you, Atsumi." Ash greeted while blushing at her beauty Minako smirks teasingly
"I guess she beat all the guys." Misty smirked "Somebody's in love…"
"That's what I'm gonna say." Minako agreed
"I am really attractive am I?" Atsumi said flipping her hair
Some of the gang notice Tracey drawing on his sketch pad, sketching Atsumi, that is.
"I need to make some observations." Tracey said
"Just what is it you're observing?" Ash asked "Observing me and my gangs' Pokémon, and me and my girls I'm perfectly ok with, but other girls we don't know, you gotta be careful."
"Careful that you don't blurt out that you're in love with…." Minako teased
"MINAKO!!" Everyone glared
"PIKA!!"
"PICHU!!"
"Did I do that?" Minako asked while imagining
Urkel from Family Matters
Atsumi leads our heroes inside the Natsukan Gym, The interior of the Gym is built for a Pokémon water battle, much like the ones in Cerulean City in Kanto, Sootopolis City in Hoenn, and Pastoria City in Sinnoh. However, it is also used to ensure that all Water Pokémon have an equal standing while they compete in the Water Gun match-up.
"Well, since you're here, why not we get this Challange underway?" Atsumi asked
"But me and my gang have to train and prepare for the battle first!" Ash protested
"Normally before the gym battle, I train Ashy to get a very good strategy." Added Makoto "But here, I'll join Ashy in this gym battle if that's the case you want to Challange now."
"Raichu."
"Sheesh, some Gym Leaders can be so impatient." Rei murmured
"And you shut your mouth, I say we battle today." Atsumi glared "Also if anyone is wondering In the Orange Island gyms, we do a lot more than just have our Pokémon battle each other."
"Well, what does that mean?" Usagi asked
You'll see what I mean. And if Makoto and Rei are training you, then I'm sure you are in good hands. We'll decide each match with two challenges each. Hit it." Atsumi said
Senta activates a remote and reveals the first challenge which has cans, and Senta activates pushes another button on the remote and reveals the pool the Pokémon will be in for the challenge.
"Now, which of you will go first?" Atsumi asked
"I'll go first. My guess, we have to use a Water type Pokémon for this one?" Ami asked "If so, then Pokémon Type d'eau, Water types are my specialty and also Michiru's."
"French." Usagi murmured
"Now, Seadra Go!" Atsumi called
"Vaproreon, Go!" Ami called
They tossed their PokéBalls and what materializes first, is Seaking, a light blue, piscine Pokémon that is similar to a seahorse with a cream-colored belly covered in rough scales. It has a long, tubular mouth, narrow, black eyes, a fin-like ridge above each eye, and spiny pectoral fins. It also has a large, coiled tail. It has a pair of dorsal fins with sharp, cream-colored tips that exude venom. Seadra's venom is toxic enough to induce numbness and even fainting in humans, but it is still prized among practitioners of traditional medicine. And then Vaporeon materializes from the ball as well, Vaporeon is a Pokémon that shares physical traits with both aquatic and land animals. Vaporeon's body is light blue with a dark blue marking around its head and a spiky ridge down its spine. It has black eyes and a tiny black nose. There is a white fin encircling its neck and three fins with cream-colored webbing on its head. Two of these fins are on either side of its head, similar to ears; and one is directly on top of its head, resembling a dorsal fin. Vaporeon is a quadruped with three small toes on each foot and dark blue paw pads on the hind feet. Its split tail fin has been mistaken for a mermaid's in the past and is believed to be the origin of mermaid folklore. It can detect moisture with its fins, which vibrate when sensing incoming rain.
"A Vaporeon, huh? That is an expected choice for a beautiful girl with short blue hair with a wonderful figure and her water is her specialty." Atsumi complimented and Ami was flattered and waved to her lover, Ash.
"Thank you, my lover, Ash Ketchum likes me the way I am." Ami replied "Ashy, are you sure you don't want to go first?"
"Ladies first." Ash insisted
"Pikachu."
"If you say so." Ami replied
"Now with that being said, Now, let the challenge begin!" Atsumi said
"Vaporeon, Use Water Gun!"
"Seadra, match her Water Gun with your own!"
Vaporeon and Seadra both releases a spiral of water from their mouths knocking down the cans, and are evenly matched, using their Water Guns, however Ami's Vaporeon has speed meaning that her water guns are knocking down the cans the fastest, making Atsumi speechless.
"This all comes down to who has the steadiest aim and the fastest shot." Ash said
"Pika."
When all the cans are down, with Ami's Vaporeon's water gun knocking down the last one, before Atsumi's Seadra could.
"Looks like Ami won." Rei said
"I gotta hand it to you, Ami. You've got a lot of skill, intelligence and speed." Atsumi congratulated as Ami thanked and went back with the group "Ok, who's next? Cause the last Challenge 4 people can take."
"I'll be up next!" Rei called "I may not have the strongest water type, but i love her either way. Now, Slowpoke, I choose you!"
"Ok, Seadra, return!" Atsumi recalled "Now, Seaking, go!"
The two girls tossed two PokéBalls and what materializes first, is Slowpoke, Slowpoke is a pink Pokémon that resembles a cross between a salamander and a hippopotamus. It has vacant eyes that never seem focused, curled ears, and a rounded, tan muzzle. It has four legs, each of which ends in a single white claw. Its long, tapering tail has a white tip. This tail drips a sweet, sappy substance that is attractive to many species of fish. Slowpoke uses the tail as a fishing lure. The tail often breaks off, but it will grow back. Slowpoke tails are considered a delicacy and commonly used as a cooking ingredient: in Alola, they are often dried and used in home-cooked stews, while in Galar, they are smoked and packaged as a curry ingredient. Slowpoke is also known to dive underwater to hunt, but is often itself caught instead. And what also materializes next is Seaking, Seaking is a primarily orange-and-white, piscine Pokémon. It has round, dark eyes, prominent pink lips, two small fangs, and a cream-colored horn in the center of its forehead. A female will have a smaller horn than a male. Most of its body is orange with a patch of white under its mouth and along its underside. There are several black markings on its body: two thick lines under each eye, a large wavy patch on its back, and several speckles near its tail. It has billowing pectoral fins and a pair of tail fins shaped like butterfly wings, all of which are white speckled with black. However, its dorsal fin is pure white and rigid.
"A Slowpoke, huh? By the looks of it, she's getting ready to evolve, she is at level 36." Atsumi informed
"Really? Normally fire types and psychic types are my specialty, but I can handle water types with ease." Rei said "SlowPoke, make me proud out there."
"Hey, Shrine Babe, good luck out there, and make be proud!" Ash called
"Pika Pikachu!"
"Sweetie! I don't need luck, I need skill!" Rei Called back and winked at him "Slowpoke, use Water Gun!"
"Now, Seaking, match her Water Gun with your own!"
Both Slowpoke and Seaking releases a spiral of water from its mouth at the cans knocking them down, Water Guns were evenly matched. Finally, all the cans were knocked down.
"It's a draw!" Mamoru called
"I can say, for a girl with long black hair, you're really good!" Atsumi congratulated
"You did it, Slowpoke!" Rei cheered
Suddenly, Rei's Slowpoke reached Level 37, and started glowing catching everyone off guard.
"Slowpoke?!" Rei gasped
"She's evolving!" Ash gasped
Then Slowpoke evolves into SlowBro, Slowbro is a bipedal, pink Pokémon with a tan, striped belly and a rounded, tan muzzle. It has large, vacant eyes, curled ears, and two small pointed teeth protruding from its upper jaw. It has three clawed fingers on its hands and two clawed toes on its feet. There is a Shellder attached to its tail. This Shellder has a gray, spiral shell with darker gray spots and small, triangular eyes near the base. There are several spikes across the surface of the Shellder, and it holds onto Slowbro with many sharp teeth. Shellder developed its spiral form in an effort to suck more sweetness out of Slowbro's tail. If its tail or the Shellder attached to it is broken off, Slowbro will revert to its unevolved form, Slowpoke.
Slowbro has lost the capability to feel pain due to the Shellder's poison. While typically lazy and unintelligent, Slowbro apparently becomes inspired when the Shellder bites down on its tail. While it is capable of unleashing powerful psychic attacks, Slowbro is typically rather peaceful and usually prefers not to fight. Because it can no longer fish using its tail, it instead swims to catch its prey and allows the Shellder to feed on its leftover scraps. Slowbro tends to live near ponds, lakes, and seashores. Then Ash is about to get his PokéDex to analyze her, but Ami got out her Pokémon Information textbook and she found SlowBro, and she reads it."
"SlowBro the hermit crab Pokemon, and one out of 2 evolved forms of Slowpoke." Ami read "When a Slowpoke went hunting in the sea, its tail was bitten by a Shellder, or if it levels up at level 37 it will evolve into Slowbro. However if a Shellder bites a Slowpoke on the head or if Traded while Slowpoke is holding a king's rock, it will evolve into SlowKing. With an intelligence of a genius."
"Wow, a SlowBro." Ash gasped "Congratulations Rei!"
"Pikachu!"
"Oh SlowBro! You evolved! I'm so happy!" Rei cried happily as she hugged her newly evolved Pokemon
"Ok, Who's up next? I'm willing to have two people Challange me now!" Atsumi asked
"Mako, how about you go next?" Ash asked "I'll go after you."
"Ok, Ashy. I'll go next." Makoto giggled as she kisses his cheek "I'll show you what this thunder babe is made of!"
"Rai Raichu!"
While Rei recalls her new SlowBro, and head back to the group, Makoto heads up to the Challange with her Raichu and places her hand on her him and flips her hair with sass and Atsumi stares at Makoto's large breasts and couldn't help but be a little jealous at her perfect figure.
"You know, for a tall girl with brown hair, you have an incredible figure! Are you ready? Cause me and Seaking are!" Atsumi said
"I was born ready! And thank you, if there's something you don't know, I'm a part of Ash's harem and I'm roommates with him." Makoto said as she got out her water type "Poliwag, I choose you!"
Makoto tosses her PokéBall and Poliwag Materializes from it, Poliwag is an amphibian Pokémon resembling a blue, spherical tadpole. It has large eyes and pink lips that can also act as suction cups for rocks. Its skin is very thin, but flexible and difficult to puncture. There is a black and white swirl on its abdomen, which is actually its internal organs showing through its semitransparent skin. The swirl is clearer following a meal and will have a white tinge if the Pokémon is affected by disease. The direction of the belly spiral differs by area; the equator is thought to have an effect on it.
Poliwag has newly developed legs that are poor at walking and no arms. It has a long, thin tail surrounded by a light-blue, semitransparent fin. Its tail makes it a powerful swimmer. It loves to waddle on land despite the dangers. However, it will quickly return back into the water should it see danger. It cannot walk on land well unless trained everyday. Because of its ineptitude on land, Poliwag is more likely to be found swimming in small freshwater ponds and lakes. In the anime, Poliwag feeds on salveyo weed, which can only be found on clear lake bottoms.
"A Poliwag! It looks like he is about to evolve too!" Atsumi called "It's at Level 24! And well developed like your extremely developed!"
"Thanks, Ash really loves me!" Makoto smiled and turned to her boyfriend then winked at him "Hey, Ashy! Watch me knock out the competition, try not to get distracted by my beauty, cause you need all the concentration to for your turn!"
"Go get 'em Mako honey!" Ash called
"Pika Pikachu!"
"Poliwag, use water Gun!"
"Seaking, use Water Gun also!"
Then Makoto's Poliwag and Atsumi's Seaking releases a spiral of water from their mouths at the cans knocking them down one by one, only Makoto's Poliwag, being more developed, her water gun is a lot more faster then Atsumi's Seaking, and then with all the cans knocked down, Challange 1 was cleared and open for one more person.
"And the battle has concluded, Makoto wins!" Sorrel called
"Damn! She's fast!" Atsumi gasped
Suddenly, before Makoto would congratulate her Poliwag, she started glowing white, shocking everyone, Poliwag has gone up to level 25 which could only mean one thing… evolution!
"P… Poliwag?!" Makoto gasped
"Mako, Your Poliwag is evolving!" Ash called
"Pi!"
Then Makoto's Poliwag evolves into Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl is a blue, bipedal amphibian Pokémon with a spherical body. It has bulbous eyes that protrude from the top of its head. A black and white swirl covers its belly, which is actually its organs showing through its thin skin. It appears to have white gloves on its hands and rounded, digit-less feet. When out of water, it sweats to keep its skin moist and healthy. This keeps it covered in an oily fluid that allows it to slip away from enemies. All of its skin feels this way except where its swirl is, which is instead very smooth. The swirl on its belly undulates slowly and staring at it induces drowsiness.
Even though Poliwhirl is capable of moving on land, it prefers to stay in freshwater ponds and lakes where it has fewer natural enemies. It feeds on both bug and fish Pokémon. While it will leave the water to capture bug Pokémon, it will return and consume them underwater in safety. Its swirl is used to make children fall asleep. Poliwhirl's sweat is filled with slimy mucus. When captured by an enemy, it either slithers to escape or use its swirl to put the enemy to sleep.
"Oh my god! Poliwag evolved into Poliwhirl!" Makoto cried happily and hugged her newly evolved Pokemon "Great job, Poliwhirl! You deserve a good rest."
"Looks like you've raised her very well, Mako." Atsumi congratulated "I can't help but be a little jealous of you, I mean, you got an amazing figure like the blue haired girl and the girl with long black hair. I wish I could be like you. Your boyfriend is up next."
"Oh, thank you." Makoto replied and turned to Ash and took his hand cause it's Ash's turn at the challenge "Ah… Ah… Ashy, it's your turn, knock 'em out tiger!"
"Ready, Ash? The cans have been reset, and we're ready to start." Atsumi said as she recalled Seadra
"You bet I'm ready." Ash nodded
"Pi Pikachu."
"Ok, Seadra, go!" Atsumi called and her Seadra materializes from her PokeBall.
Ami got her Pokémon Infromation textbook and she found Seadra and its evolutions, and she began to read.
"Seadra is the Dragon Pokémon. And the evolved form of Horsea, It is known for its powerful disposition but possess both strength and speed." Ami read "If it is exposed to a dragon scale while trading, it evolves into Kingdra from the Johto region."
"Blastoise, I Choose You!" Ash called
Ash tosses the PokéBall and his Blastoise with his sunglasses materializes from his PokéBall, Blastoise is a large, bipedal turtle Pokémon. Its body is blue and is mostly hidden by its tough, brown shell. This shell has a cream-colored underside and a white ridge encircling its arms and separating the upper and lower halves. Two powerful water cannons/jet nozzles reside at the top of its shell over its shoulders. These cannons can be extended or withdrawn. Blastoise's head has triangular ears that are black on the inside, small brown eyes, and a cream-colored lower jaw. Its arms are thick, and it has three claws on each hand. Its feet have three claws on the front and one on the back. Poking out of the bottom of its shell is a stubby tail.
The powerful cannons on this Pokémon's back are capable of producing water blasts that can pierce steel and concrete and can be used for high-speed charges. The speed of Blastoise's charges is similar to the force of a rocket. Blastoise deliberately makes itself heavy to withstand these powerful blasts and to crush its opponents. The anime has shown that Blastoise can take the role of a leader in large groups of Squirtle and Wartortle. Its preferred habitat seems to be freshwater ponds and lakes. As shown in Pokémon Sleep, Blastoise is known to sleep soundly while protected by its tough shell. Blastoise has also been seen sleeping with its belly exposed on very rare occasions. This due to Blastoise feeling completely secure in its surroundings and quickly falling asleep.
"A Blastoise with sun glasses!" Atsumi gasped "From what I've heard, Ash you have all 3 starters I'm not sure if I want you as a boyfriend, cause I don't want to steal you from your girls. Anyway, Like last time, the trainers pick whichever Pokémon have the best Water attacks, and compete against each other in a test. In my gym, the Pokémon compete like athletes do, using their skills head to head, one on one. I think I'll let my Seadra warm up, first. Hydro Pump counts for this Challange too!"
"Trust me, I'll show you what a Pokémon champion of the Indigo League is made of, like Ami, Rei and Mako." Ash said "Are we ready?"

"You bet! Seadra, use Water Gun!" Atsumi called
"Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!" Ash called "One cannon at a time!"
Then Ash's Blastoise fires bullets of water out from one cannon at a time, knocking down cans in the center, and Atsumi's Seadra, releases a spiral of water from its mouth at the cans also knocking them down as fast as she could, but Blastoise is faster then after more cans are knocked down, both Pokémon are tie up with one final shot on that last two cans from each of them.
"What do you know? It's a tie!" Minako asked
"Maybe if my sketches are good enough, I can send them to Professor Oak and he can review them" Tracey said while sketching
"Great, Job Blastoise! You're the man!" Ash cheered and Blastoise gave Ash a thumbs up and does the "Deal with it" meme at Seadra
"Pikachu!"
"Your Blastoise is a beast!" Atsumi gasped being impressed "If you can handle still Targets, Can you handle wave riding?"
"We've used surf a lot of times to travel in the water, of course I can handle wave riding." Ash replied
Atsumi presses a button causing The gym wall opens, giving a full view of the ocean. Our heroes couldn't believe it.
"Holy crap! A gym that has a beach?!" Makoto gasped
"Yeah, Everyone, let's get onto the beach!" Atsumi said
Then after the others had their turns, Ash who is now in his gray swim trunks, is now on the beach In the back of the Natsukan Gym there is a large beach area where the challengers and Gym leader can compete in a Pokémon Wave Ride.
"Huh, so this will be where the last Challange is at." Ash said to himself
"Pikachu."
"Are you sure you're up for a Pokémon wave ride? I even got dressed for the occasion." Atsumi asked
Ash turned around to see Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, May, Naru, Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, Daisy, Violet, Lilly, Misty, Verity, Erika, Duplica, Jeanette, Unazuki and Atsumi came out of the changing tents wearing two peace bikinis as a surprise for Ash. Usagi's is Pink with red tropical flowers and bows, Makoto's is Green and pink roses, Rei's is red and purple flowers, Minako's is orange and blue stripes, Ami's is Blue with light blue tropical flowers, Naru's is light Blue with stripes, Erika being in yellow with sunflowers, Duplica being in pure blue, Jeanette being in green, Haruka being in dark blue, Michiru being in her purple, Setsuna being in red, Unazuki wearing an Orange with purple stripes, May in her pure yelllow bikini, Misty is in her red bikini, Daisy, Violet, Lilly are in yellow, Red and blue bikinis, Verity is in her dark blue bikinis and Atsumi is in her black bikini, and they smile at Ash, Chibiusa and Hotaru gasp that Ash is blushing.
"Hope we didn't take too long changing." Usagi gushed
"We decided to get dressed for the occasion." Ami said happily "Since we're surfing we should put on our swimwear."
"Looks like me and Mako are back in our bikinis, Sweetie." Rei smiled
"I know how much you love us in our swimwear." Makoto gushed
"Your goddesses are here for you!" Minako winked
"So what do you think, Ashy?" Duplica, Jeanette, May, Misty, Daisy, Violet, Lilly Erika, Unazuki asked
"You like?" Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna asked
"I hope I don't distract you with my figure." Atsumi snickered
"You... You girls look so amazing..." Ash spoke while blushing which made the girls blush happily
"Aw, you're so kind." Atsumi replied "Knowing that your girls are very happy with you."
"You always know what to say." Ami replied as she embraces him
"Hey, I got it! How about me, Rei, Ashy and Ami team up this Challange?" Makoto offered
"Yes you can." Ash accepted
"Hey, How about you have Usagi and Minako join?" Atsumi asked
Ash nodded and Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako all stood by Ash's side and then Atsumi got out her PokeBall that she will use.
"Now that you have 5 girls by your side, the Pokémon just have to swim around that flag and come back. Whoever gets back first, wins." Atsumi said
"Got it!" Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto and Minako replied
"Blastoise, I choose you!" Atsumi called
She then tosses her PokéBall and her own female Blastoise materializes from her PokéBall, Ash decided to use his own Blastoise, cause it's revealed that he is very strong enough to carry six people, he approached the six, and gave a confident nod. Then Ash, Ami, Usagi, Makoto, Rei and Minako board Blastoise's back, Atsumi boards her Blastoise's Back.
But before they could begin their match, Suddenly, Team Rocket's Magikarp sub surfaces and Team Rocket opens the hatch for fresh air, but Atsumi and her brother think they're in trouble, then Suddenly, Team Rocket notices they've been spotted and launch into their spiel, as they hopped out of their sub.
"Prepare for trouble!" Jessie said
"Make it double!" James added
Ignoring Jessie's, James' and Meowth's usual motto, the gang just talk among themselves.
"It's the same thing every damn time." Rei sighed
"They changed the first part a little bit." Ash added
"Probably to keep them from inevitably being forgotten, which is what they're afraid of." Ami said
"Do you know what those people are talking about?" Atsumi asked
"Unfortunately yes, but we're kinda used to it by now." Makoto said
"Like I referred to, they're trying hard to avoid seeing their darkest fear of being forgotten realized." Added Ami
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight."
"Meowth. Dat's right."
"Oh, it's so good to breathe fresh air!" Jessie cried
"For a minute there, I thought we weren't going to make it! Thank god!" James said
"Nine lives flashed before my eyes!" Meowth added
"How about you guys piss off?" Rei demanded
"Piss off?! Do you know what we went through to get here?!" James glared "Our sub got tangled in the seaweed so we decided to rock, paper scissors for who gets swim out and untangle it! The problem is, I suck at it! But I sucked it up, and I was able to free the sub, and then it just floated away! I started swimming as fast as I could not knowing whether I'd make it to the surface in time or not!"
Meowth smacks him with a mallet.
"Dumbass! Quit your whinin' an' get ovah yourself! Look ovah dere! We got a shot at a two fawh one deal!" Meowth barked
"You're right. I'll make this a touching story of personal triumph over personal tragedy. Weezing, go!" James called
He tosses a PokéBall and Weezing materializes from it, Weezing is a purple Pokémon consisting of two spherical heads connected by a thin tube with another sphere in the center. The heads have different sizes and features. The left head is larger and has prominent eyebrows, pointed teeth protruding from its lower jaw, and two flat teeth in its upper jaw. The smaller, right head simply has two pointed teeth, one at each corner of its mouth. The larger head has a cream-colored skull-and-crossbones marking below its face, while the smaller head has a ring marking instead. It is covered with many geyser-like protrusions, which usually expel mustard-colored gases. Weezing is said to form when poisonous gases pool and two Koffing fuse over many years. Very rarely, two Koffing can become a Weezing in a short time span because of a sudden mutation. Triplet Weezing have been discovered, although they are extremely rare.
Each of Weezing's heads contains a different toxin. It mixes its gases by inflating one head and deflating the other. When its gases mix, Weezing becomes more toxic and putrid. Weezing can hover in midair, presumably due to gases lighter than air, as is the case for Koffing. Despite their stench and poison, Weezing's gases can be used to make top-grade perfume by diluting them to the highest level. Weezing lives in urban areas. It seeks a dirty, unkempt house and nests there. At night, when the people in the house are asleep, it will go through the trash. Weezing feeds on the dust, microorganisms, and especially gases emitted by garbage and toxic waste. Weezing's body expands and smells worse upon inhaling poisonous gases. The Kantonian Weezing used to be common in Galar and created more potent toxins than their Galarian relatives.
Weezing and its pre-evolved form are the only known Pokémon that can have Neutralizing Gas as an Ability. Then he prepares to use smokescreen but nothing happened.
"W… Weezing!?" James gasped
"He ran out of juice!" Shouted Jessie
"Bad news, we have no nets left! They dropped off into the middle of the ocean while we tried to get the sub unstuck!" Meowth informed
"WHAT?!" Jessie roared
"I hate to break this up, but let's take care of you three!" Ash shouted "Pikachu! Thunderbolt!"
"Pika… CHU!!!!"
Ash's Pikachu releases a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from his body at the idiotic criminals, sending Team Rocket blasting off.
"Damn it! Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
With Team Rocket gone, Ash, Ami, Rei, Usagi, Makoto and Minako's Challange against Atsumi and her Blastoise is about to commence, the two Pokémon lined up at the starting line, as they wait for the signal from Tracey to start, as soon as you can say: 'Boogity, boogity, boogity – let's go racing!'
"Now with Team Rocket out of the way, how about we get this challenge underway?" Ash asked
"You bet! the trainer stands on the Pokémon in wave rides. Or in your case, 6 trainers." Atsumi replied "You ready Blastoise?"
"Blastoise, let's all do our best, remember our training from back at Kanto." Ash said
"Ashy, we're ready when you are." Makoto said holding onto him
With the sound of Rei's Pikachu releasing a powerful bolt of yellow electricity from her body , the race is on, Ash, his Pikachu, Ami, Rei, Usagi, Makoto, Her Raichu and Minako all Balanced on Blastoise's back while surfing to race Atsumi, During the race, they are evenly matched, and they approach the flag
"Ok Blastoise, try to move over to the inside!" Ash called
"Don't let him go there, Blastoise!" Atsumi called
Both Blastoises collide as they both try to move to the inside lane, and they successfully do so, as the two zoomed ahead and around the flag, as they head to the finish line.
"Hot damn! We're evenly matched and we might go for a tie!" Rei cried
"Like hell!" Atsumi shouted as her Blastoise went faster
Suddenly, a tidal wave comes up behind the racers suddenly, Just as the tidal wave Ash's Blastoise forms a light blue ball of icy energy from its mouth and then fires a beam from the energy ball at the Waves, causing it to freeze, Catching Ash, his Pikachu, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, her Raichu and Minako off guard, and it causes Ash's Blasoise to slides forward on top of it on his belly like a Penguin.
"Blastoise, you've learned Ice Beam!" Ash gasped
"Is it just me or is it getting a bit chilly?" Minako asked while shivering "Oh wait, it was the ice beam."
"It wasn't this cold when we went to the Arctic, to face off against the Dark Kingdom!" Usagi added hugging Ash for warm the and Ami hugs Usagi as well
"Dark Kingdom…. Wait a minute!" Atsumi thought "Ash IS the champion of Kanto and so is the girls! I might not win this!"
"It's gonna be close! It's..." Haruka murmured
Then the two Blastoise are separated from one another, The others were cheering Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Minako and Blastoise on as Ash's Blastoise slides faster then the speed of sound, both Pokémon get closer to the shore, then Chibiusa decided to get the Checkered Flag for the Finish line to be festive, Ash's Blastoise crosses the finish line first with Chibiusa waving the Checkered Flag for him, just by a nose, and our heroes are both excited and baffled, Atsumi couldn't believe it, the rumors of Ash and his gang being the Champions of Kanto is genuine.
"Holy Crap! What a finish!" Chibiusa gasped "Papa Ash, Mama Usagi, Mama Ami, Mama, Rei, Mama Makoto and Mama Minako won!"
"By the nose!" Hotaru cheered
"Way to go!" The gang cheered
Then Ash's Blastoise comes to a screeching halt on the shore, and before Ash goes flying off of Blastoise's back, Makoto took Ash by his hand and pulled him back on and close to her and embraces him, and Rei holds Ash from behind, as the two girls embrace him like when a guy is with two girls on a date.
"Woo!" Rei and Makoto cried
"We won that, girls." Ash laughed
"Pi."
"That was quite a stop." Makoto laughed happily
"Good thing we manage to catch you before you went crashing to a tree." Rei informed
"What a magical race." Ami said
"I'll say, Ashy's Blastoise learning Ice Beam freezing that wave, we and Atsumi would've been done for." Usagi said
"Well, it was a great race. And it was pretty smart of you to use Blastoise's newly learned Ice Beam to freeze the water." Atsumi said getting off of her Blastoise and Ash, Makoto and Rei got off of Blastoise as he congratulated Blastoise as he recalled him
Back to his Pokeball "I can see why you and the five ladies had won the Indigo League, though it's a shame that i didn't have the time to go out with Ash, and I bet you all will do pretty well in the Orange League, too. This is the Coral-Eye badge of the Mikan gym, proof that you won your match.
Atsumi presented Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto and Minako their Coral-Eye badges which the Coral-Eye Badge it is pink with a little gem in the middle which looks like a purple pearl. They couldn't believe it.
"It looks like a shell." Ash said as he held his "it fits since we're in the Orange Islands."
"Yes. All the badges from the Orange League gyms are shells." Atsumi said
"They look so pretty." Usagi awed
"Thank you, Atsumi." Ash thanked and he held the badge high and so did Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto and Minako
"We've won a Coral-Eye badge!" Ash Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto and Minako cried happily
"Pi Pikachu!"
"Rai Raichu!"
"And for your win at the Indigo League…" Atsumi said as she leans over to his face and gently kisses his cheeks making him blush "…. When we meet again, please let me be in your harem….."
"Pi!?"
"Wow! Atsumi!" Usagi gasped"
"Oh my heavens!" Ami added
"Did Atsumi just….." Makoto and Rei gulped
"She kissed Ashy!" Minako gasped happily
"So, which one of you all wants to challenge me next?" Atsumi asked
Then Ash's Pikachu found the 4 Star Dragon Ball buried in the sand and he held into it as he wanted to show the gang sometime down the line.
Then After Haruka, Michiru, May, Unazuki, Setsuna, Duplica, Mamoru, Sorrel, Naru, Verity and even Chibiusa and Hotaru even did their challenges, and eventually winning their badges with victories, our heroes are out at sea once more, with Ash and the girls are back in their casual outfits and are sailing with their water Pokémon, with Atsumi and her brother Senta waving goodbye to the gang.
"Farewell!" Ami waved
"Goodbye! I hope to see you both again!" Ash called
"Pay a visit to Pallet Town when you have a chance!" Usagi called
"Goodbye guys! Good luck on the Orange League! I'll be cheering for you all!" Atsumi waved
"Aw…. I wish I had a cool badge like that. I should've challenged her myself." Misty sighed dreamily
"One day, Misty, when we meet Atsumi again, you'll challenge her and show her what a gym leader or 4 gym leaders of Cerulean City was made of." Ash said
"I honestly don't think you can challenge for a badge if you're a gym leader." Erika pointed out
"Come on, guys. Let's just be happy we got to see such a great trainer in action."
Misty, Rei, May and Makoto looks and sees Tracey sketching Atsumi on her Blastoise then Misty smirks at him the same way Minako is smirking at Ash cause Atsumi kisses him.
"I thought you were supposed to be a Pokémon Watcher." Rei smirked
"Oh yeah…" Tracy gasped
"Let's not forget that Atsumi kisses Ash's cheeks!" Minako pointed out while teasing "His face was red as a Pokeball!"
"Minako, shut up!" Ash shouted
"Atsumi kissed Ashy! Atsumi kissed Ashy!" Minako teased "Love is bitten!"
"Ash, May I join your harem, please?" Atsumi called
"Yes! Atsumi! When we meet again I'll give you a big hug!" Ash called
"Yay!" Atsumi said
And so, with their first new badges in hand, Ash Ketchum, Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Chibiusa, Hotaru, Naru Osaka, Duplica, Erika, Jeanette Fisher, Unazuki, May, Misty, Verity, Setsuna Meiou, Daisy, Lilly, Violet, Mamoru, Sorrel, Haruka Tenoh, and Michiru Kaioh are on their way to competing in the Orange League, after hours of traveling on sea, They're headed for Navel Island, where Ash Ketchum, Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Chibiusa, Hotaru, Naru Osaka, Duplica, Erika, Jeanette, Unazuki, May, Misty, Verity, Setsuna Meiou, Daisy, Lilly, Violet, Mamoru, Sorrel, Haruka, and Michiru along with the Moon Cats and their Pokemon hope to battle for their second Orange League badges, where Luna has a turn as the lookout.
"Land Ho!" Luna called

"Luna's right, everyone! Look, there's an island with a huge mountain! Usagi agreed
"There it is! Navel Island!" Makoto cried
"Look at that mountain!" Awed Ash
"We're almost there!" May gushed
"I wonder what kind of badge they have at the gym there." Minako wondered
"I think it's called the Sea Ruby badge because it's made out of a seashell with a ruby in it." Ami said
"The Sea Ruby badge." Ash and Rei murmured
Indeed it is, Navel Island, as our heroes reach land, Navel Island (ネーブル島) is located in the eastern region of the Orange Archipelago. It is a large island, that is dominated by an incredibly tall mountain. At the foot of the mountain, there is a small, quiet village, after our heroes reach land and recalled their Water Pokémon, they notice that it's too quiet.
"This place sure is quiet." Ami murmured
"Yeah. Almost too quiet." Usagi agreed
"Seems like it's deserted." Rei said
"And I don't see any gym around here, either." Minako said
"This looks more like an Abandoned island." Makoto agreed
Soon, Ash spots something "Sail ahoy! Off the port side!"
"A guy!" Minako called
Our heroes looks to their left and see a sailboat sailing past. Aboard the boat is a man who has dark auburn hair and black eyes in a Hawaiian T-Shirt with a boombox playing some tropical music. Our heroes are surprised as the man comes up to the shore to greet them, neither of the girls go Gaga for him as they like Ash.
"Alola! I bet you guys are looking for a gym battle" the man greeted
"Uh, yeah." Ash replied "Me, Mamoru, Sorrel and my lovely young ladies are here for the Challange."
"Then you three and your young ladies came to the right place. It's nice to meet you all. I'm Dan." Dan introduced
"My name's Ash Ketchum. And this is my buddy Pikachu."
"Pika!"
"And my name's Tracey." Tracey introduced
"My name is Usagi Tsukino."
"I'm Ami Mizuno."
"I'm Rei Hino."
"I'm Makoto Kino."
"I'm Minako Aino."
"I'm May."
"I'm Misty, and this is my sisters, Daisy, Violet and Lily."
"I'm Naru Osaka."
"I'm Duplica."
"I'm Jeanette Fisher."
"I'm Erika, the Celadon Gym Leader."
"Haruka Tenoh, at your service."
"I'm Michiru Kaioh"
"I'm Setsuna Meioh."
"I'm Usagi, but everyone calls Me Chibiusa, heres my two friends Togepi and Pichu."
"I'm Hotaru Ketchum."
"I'm Verity."
"I'm Mamoru Chiba."
"I'm Sorrel."
"Pleased to meet you all." Dan replied and notices something "Wait a second. Don't tell me. You and the girls are from Kanto, and you won the Indigo League?"
"You know it!" Ash and his gang replied
"Holy hell, that's crazy! Maybe after our Challange, I might want an autograph!" Dan gasped "I seen lots of beautiful things on these islands, but nothing as beautiful as you, ladies."
"Beautiful as us?" Misty and Usagi gasped while blushing
"Huh?!" Ash, Mamoru, Sorrel and Tracey gasped
"Me, Rei and the girls are in love with Ash." Makoto said while hugging him "Don't worry, you'll find a love of your life."
"But hey, let's go to where the gym is." Rei said as she holds Ash's hand and clings onto him "Come on sweetie."
Then our heroes are following Dan to the gates of the Navel Gym, then Dan notices that has the appropriate amount of important stuff in his backpack mainly climbing gear and same goes for the girls.
"You all got everything you need in that backpack." Dan said "but you can't be totally prepared for the surprises life has in store, but I always try to plan where I'm going and know what I'll need before I do something."
"Come on! That's such a mature way of looking at things." Misty said as she nudged Ash playfully "I would go into detail about how much we have, but we be here all day."
"Aw, Misty, you tease." Ash replied as Misty pecked his cheek
"Unlike Too bad a certain blonde Pokémon trainers aren't smart enough to think ahead." Misty said
"Ha! Some trainers don't have to plan because they're good enough to come out on top in any situation!" Usagi called
"What she said!" Minako agreed
"And Some trainers travel with trainers who know the meaning not to be a hot head or volcano head." Misty sassed teasingly
That made Rei annoyed and angry and she glared at the tomboyish red haired mermaid
"What was that?!" Rei growled
"I was only joking!" Misty shot back "Can't you take a damn joke?!"
"Hold it… HOLD IT!!" Ash called while face palming "Let's focus on our challenge, instead of arguing. I expected Usagi and Chibiusa to argue."
Then suddenly our heroes arrive at the gates.
"This is the place." Ami gasped "Let's enter."
The doors open and our heroes are surprised to find a path leading up towards the mountain and a cable car lift right next to it, Unlike most Gyms, there is no battling involved at this Gym. Instead, several mountaineering challenges, scaling the mountain without the aid of any Pokémon as an entrance test before the actual rounds begin.
"Would you look at that mountain?!" Usagi gasped "This is almost when we had to ski in the detour to the Fuscha City and an avalanche."
"I guess you have to take that little cable car up to where the gym is." Ash guessed
"Is it up at the top of the mountain?" Gasped Minako
"Pika Pi! Pika!"
The gang saw a sign and walked up to it next to the path.
"It says: 'Welcome, Pokémon trainers All Navel gym challengers must climb to the top Trainers must reach the top on their own. Pokémon may not provide help. Any trainer using a Pokémon will be disqualified.'" Ami read "'Those accompanying the challenger should ride the cable car.'
After a few seconds of silence, Ash's group gasped in disbelief
"Climb to the top?!"
"All of us, climb that ourselves?" Usagi gulped
"Pi, Pika Pika!"
"You're right! Yes! I can do it if I try!" Beamed Ash as he got his climbing gear prepared he out of his usual shoes and into a pair of mountaineering boots and rappelling gloves the girls did the same
"I as well as Misty, Jeanette, Daisy, Violet and Lily would like to join you in climbing." Erika said "but sadly I as well as Chibiusa are forced to ride and watch from the cable car along with the rest of the team. Well, good luck everyone."
"In that case...Pikachu, back inside you go." Rei said as well as the girls recalled their Pokémon back in their PokéBalls
A few minutes later, while Erika, Chibiusa, Misty, Jeanette, Daisy, Violet and Lily ride the cable car to the top, Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Naru, Haruka, Michiru, Mamoru, Sorrel, May, Duplica, Hotaru, Unazuki began to climb up the mountain with their winter gear on, with Ash's Pikachu holding on to his backpack, using their climbing gear instead of their Pokémon helping them, however Minako is having a difficult time due to her slight fear of heights, then she nuzzles on him.
"Whatever you do, everyone, don't look down." May said
"Is everything okay, Minako?" Ash asked
"Yeah, everything's just great…" Minako gulped
A few more feet later...Dan is climbing with ease, as are Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Naru, Haruka, Michiru, Mamoru, Sorrel, May, Duplica, Hotaru, Unazuki , while Minako is still struggling and getting to the point she wants to cling onto her lover.
"Who would've thought that I'd literally have to climb up a mountain to reach my goal?" Ash thought as he continued climbing as he prepared to pick into rock with his pickax "But Minako. Ami told me she has a slight fear of heights. I hope she doesn't look down."
"Nice job using your climbing gear instead of your Pokémon, Ash and the same goes for you all too!" Dan congratulated
"Hey, Ashy? Since our journey in Kanto, when we climbed up MT. Tensei, you gotten used to climbing mountains." Usagi mentioned and looks up "At least Chibiusa, Erika, Jeanette, Daisy, Tracey, Misty, Violet and Lily made it up unscathed due to the cable car."
"Hey, Mamas Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako, Mako, Naru, May, Duplica, Verity, papa Ash, Mamo and Sorrel! Sister Hotaru!" Chibiusa called "are you all ok?"
"Yep! We're all ok, no problem!" Minako called who is ahead of them
Suddenly some rock that Minako is resting her foot on gives way, causing her to fall, alerting everyone immediately, The rest of the gang in the cable car notices what happened, until thankfully, Minako manages to catch herself in the nick of time by wrapping her arms tightly around Ash, then she began to burst into tears.
"Wah! I want to get down!" Minako wailed
"Minako, if you're so scared of hights, how about you hang on tight to my back, until we get up?" Ash offered lightly
"Chu Chu, Pikachu."
Minako smiled brighter then ever hearing that coming from the love of her life and she rests her head on Ash's shoulder "I love to! Mmmm! Ashy is giving her goddess of love a piggy back ride up the mountain!"
"Mmm…. By now, Team Rocket comes in and ruins everything, but since they blasted off to a different island, they're not coming." Rei said as she climbs up
"Seems like they're down for the count." Makoto said
"Let's just hope we don't fall." Ami said worriedly
A few minutes later, Ash and the gang head to the top of the mountain where Misty, Togepi, Pichu, Chibiusa, Daisy, Violet, Lily, Erika, Jeanette and Tracey are waiting for Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Naru, Haruka, Michiru, Mamoru, Sorrel, May, Duplica, Hotaru, Unazuki, then snow begins to fall. However, Ash and his Pikachu both collapse from exhaustion, Minako and Ami helped them both up.
"Snow is beginning to fall… but… at least we made it up…" Ash sighed
"Pikachu…"
"Mamas Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako, Mako, Naru, May, Duplica, Verity, papa Ash, Mamo and Sorrel! Sister Hotaru!" Chibiusa called as she and the rest of the girls ran to them "You're here!"
Even Misty ran up to him and embraces him with love and gratitude then Daisy, Violet, Lily, Erika and Jeanette embrace Ash. Then Usagi and Ami embraces Chibiusa.
"You must be cold. Wanna share my blanket? It's really big." Misty offered as she wraps her blanket on both Ash and Minako then Rei and Makoto wrap their arms around Ash with love."That was quite a test. Congratulations. You all passed." Dan congratulated
"We passed?" Ash gasped
"If Climbing is the part of the Challenge, then I'm glad we all passed." Ami spoke with gratitude
"I knew it!" Ash thought "Dan's not here to win a badge, he's the gym leader. I didn't want to spoil the surprise, so I said nothing about it."
"Climbing that mountain was just a test to weed out the wimps. And we're not wimps!" Minako shouted
"I'm the Navel Island gym leader, and I'm also a member of the Orange Crew." Dan revealed
"We just beat Atsumi the first member of the Orange Crew before coming here." Ami mentioned "If there's another challenge ahead, I'm sure we will be able to take it."
"Ami, you're really intelligent for a Pokémon Trainer, no wonder Ash likes you the way you are." Dan complimented "I hope you're all ready for our big match."
After relaxing from the last Challenge with their climbing gear, our heroes arrived at the geysers of the mountain for the next Challenge and now are listening to the rules of the challenge from Dan to use Pokémon that knows Ice Beam, then they also take a good look at the geysers going up every minute passed One by one.
"Here are the rules, so listen carefully. Matches here are decided in three rounds. And if either of you or all of you win two out of three, you'll each get a Sea Ruby badge. Understand?" Dan informed "First, we'll see who can freeze hot water the fastest."
"Wow! A geyser!" Misty gushed
"This Blows." Minako chuckled
"Boiling hot water from under the earth." Ami said "So That means they're gonna have to start with Pokemon that knows ice attacks."
"I choose you, Nidoqueen!" Dan called
Dan tosses a PokéBall and then Nidoqueen Materialized from the ball. Nidoqueen is a large, bipedal blue mammalian Pokémon with distinct reptilian features. Its body is encased with extremely hard scales that serve as excellent protection from any attack and stand up when Nidoqueen is excited or provoked. It has a blunt snout, narrow brown eyes, and large ears with brown insides. There is a small horn on its forehead, a single spine on each ear, and a line of toxic spikes running down its back. Each hand has three short claws and each foot has two claws. Its lower jaw, the front of its abdomen, and two plates on its chest are cream-colored. It has a thick, powerful tail. Nidoqueen is a female-only species.
Nidoqueen can be quite fierce and is very protective of its young. This Pokémon is at its strongest when it is defending its young, and it will try to seal the entrance to its burrow to protect them. It also places its young in the gaps between the spines on its back which never release poison when the children are present. Nidoqueen is more adept at being defensive than offensive. Nidoqueen's armor-like scales allow it to defend its children from any attack. When in contact with foes, it can poison them with the spikes on its back or cause small tremors by slamming the ground. It is also adept at sending foes flying with harsh tackles and it uses its hefty bulk to execute powerful moves. Being the result of an evolution via Evolution stone, Nidoqueen is rarely found in the wild. However, they can be found in savannas and plains.

"Come on Out!" Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Haruka, Michiru, Duplica, May, Unazuki, Sorrel, Mamoru, Naru and Verity called
Ash, Ami, Usagi, Rei, Makoto, Haruka, Michiru, Duplica, May, Unazuki, Sorrel, Mamoru, Naru and Verity all tossed their PokéBalls and both Dragonites, three Laprases, Ditto, Vaporeon, Poliwhirl, Poliwag, SlowBro, Nidoking and Golduck materialized from their PokéBalls and what Materializes are 3 Pokémon Ash never saw before, first is Snorunt, a small, black Pokémon with an ovoid body. It has circular, light blue eyes, wide teeth, and spherical hands and feet that lack digits. It is covered with a yellow cloak that gives it a triangular outline. The coat is rimmed with an orange stripe and has three orange diamond markings on the back. As its evolved form Glalie has a body of rock, Snorunt may also be made of rock. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, defeating a Snorunt, Glalie, or Froslass will yield some "Snorunt fur", suggesting the cloak is made of fur.
Well-adapted to life in colder climates, it subsists on snow and ice and can survive temperatures as low as 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Snorunt is also a social creature, living and traveling with other Snorunt in groups of five. The group can live together in harmony while residing underneath giant leaves. It can be found in caves, particularly when the outside lacks snow or areas with heavy snowfall. Despite this, the Snorunt population in Alola shows it can survive in some places with warm weather. Additionally, it has been known to visit human dwellings. There is a legend that any home a Snorunt visits and lives near will prosper for generations. There is a tradition where houses would leave a lump of ice made from pure water for Snorunt to have when visiting. Playing with Snorunt is a favorite childhood memory for rich people who live in cold areas. It is believed that if Snorunt shows up during the night, they will cause heavy snow to appear in the morning.
Next there was Snover a Pokémon with a white upper body and brown lower body that resembles a snow-covered tree. It will be two-thirds brown if male and two-thirds white if female. It has green eyes and three points on top of its head. Its feet and green tail are stubby, and there are two green spikes that resemble pinecones on its back. Five cones form its hand: a large central cone with four smaller cones around it. Edible white Berries grow along Snover's midsection.
In Galar, packs of its natural predator, Galarian Darumaka, enjoy eating the Berries produced by Snover. This results in Abomasnow often chasing them away in order to protect it. Snover lives on snowy peaks in warm seasons but migrates lower as the weather cools. A curious Pokémon, it often approaches people and can be found inspecting footprints in the snow. There are stories of Snover visiting human settlements, often bonding with the children there. Snover can sink its feet into the snow to absorb water, this helps cool down its body temperature. Prior to Generation VI, Snover and its evolved form, Abomasnow, were the only known Pokémon that could have Snow Warning as an Ability. And lastly there was Swinub, a small porcine Pokémon. Living in frigid temperatures, Swinub is covered in dense, brown, striped hair to keep it warm. The hair is so shaggy that it often covers its tuft-like small legs, making it appear like a legless lump. Swinub's eyes appear as if they are perpetually closed.
The only time that Swinub's eyes have been seen open was in Pokémon Adventures, during the battle between Pryce and Erika in Bringing up Bellossom, when Pryce ordered his Swinub to dodge Erika's Skiploom's attack. Swinub uses its pink, pig-like nose to dig through mud and snow, looking for anything edible. In Hisui, ancient people relied on Swinub a lot because of this skill. Occasionally, it will come across hot springs while scouring the ground. Its favorite food is a type of mushroom that grows beneath dead grass, though it also eats Berries. When a Swinub finds an attractive smell, it will run desperately to find out the source of the aroma. It inhabits cold places, such as icy caves, mountainous regions, and frozen tundra.
"Holy crap! A Snover, Swinub and Snorunt." Ash gasped
Ami got out her Pokémon Textbook, opened it and went to Johto and she found Swinub and she began to read.
"Swinub is the Pig Pokémon from the Johto region, It searches for food by digging into the ground with its snout. Even frozen ground doesn't give it any trouble. It rubs its snout against the ground, digging through the soil as it searches for food. Sometimes it digs up hot springs." Then she found Snorunt and reads it too. "Snorunt is the Snow Hat Pokémon It is said that several Snorunt gather under giant leaves and live together in harmony It is said that a home visited by a Snorunt will prosper. It can withstand cold of 150 degrees Fahrenheit."
Finally she found Snover's Bio on Sinnoh and reads it. "Snover is the Frost Tree Pokémon, During cold seasons, it migrates to the mountain's lower reaches. It returns to the snow-covered summit in the spring. Seemingly curious about people, they gather around footsteps they find on snowy mountains."
"So this 2 out of 3 round challenge for a Sea Ruby badge will begin with a allway freezing speed contest! The gym leader Dan has choose Nidoqueen, while Ash and his gang has two Dragonite, three Laprases, Nidoqueen, Ditto, Vaporeon, Poliwhirl, Poliwag, SlowBro, Nidoking and Golduck and the new Pokémon are Snover, Swinub and Snorunt!" Misty called "Let the challenge begin!"
"Use Ice Beam!" Dan, Ash, Mamoru, Sorrel and the girls called
Then all Seventeen Pokémon has light blue balls of energy appear in front of their mouths. Light blue beams of energy are fired at the water flowing up from geysers the fastest, later, unleashes the full power of their Ice Beams and freezes the geyser solid, shocking our heroes. However Ami froze the geyser the first, after that, Dan explained the second round.
"In the second round, we'll compete in sculpting that ice. The first one to carve out this ice sled using only three Pokémon wins. So, then, do you all know which three Pokémon you'll each use?" Dan asked
Rei steps up "I'll Use Vulpix, Bellossom and Alakazam!"
"Alakazam!?" The gang gasped
"Are you sure, Rei?" Ash asked "I'll use Pikachu, Lucario and Charizard, but are you sure using Alakazam is a good idea? Alakazam never does a thing you ask her to!"
Rei then tosses the PokéBalls and her Vulpix, Bellossom and her Female Alakazam all materializes from their PokéBalls first, then Ash sends out Shiny Charizard and Lucario and Pikachu agrees to help, Ami sends her Pikachu, Staryu, and Pidgeot, Usagi sends her Pikachu, Clefairy and Primeape, Makoto sends out her Raichu, Jolteon and Tangela, Minako sends out her Pikachu, Shiny Beedrill, and Pinsir, Naru sends her Pikachu, Machoke, and her Pigeotto, Haruka sends out her Umbreon, Pikachu and Scyther, Michiru Sends out her Pikachu, Espeon and Hitmonlee, May out sends her Pikachu, Torchic and Tailow, Hotaru sends her Pikachu, Unazuki sends her Cyndaquil and Chansey and leaves out her Swinub, Verity sends her Piplup and Staraptor, Sorrel sends out his Lucario, and Chimchar and Duplica sends out her Pikachu and Ditto Mamoru sends out Venusaur, Donphan and Machamp everyone is all ready for the Challenge
"Nice choices. Machoke, Scyther and Nidoqueen." Dan said as he sends out Machoke and Scyther
"Now that all trainers have selected their teams, it's time for this second round to begin!" Setsuna called
Then Ash decided to team up with Ami, May and Usagi since Ami won last time, and his Pikachu, Lucario and Shiny Charizard helped out carving the ice sled, Haruka, Michiru and Verity team up as Piplup, Staraptor, Espeon, Umbreon, Hitmonlee, Scyther and their Pikachus help carving a big sled made out of ice, Naru, Hotaru and Minako teamed up and their Pikachus, and then Pidgeotto, Shiny Beedrill, Pinsir, Machoke, carved a Sled, Mamoru, Sorrel and Unazuki teamed up and then, Venusaur, Lucario, Pikachu, Cyndaquil, Chansey, Swinub, Snover, Dragonite and Donphan carves a Sled, and Makoto and Rei teams up as Makoto's Raichu, Jolteon and Tangela helps out while Rei's Pikachu and Bellossom are the only ones helping Rei while her Alakazam just lays there while everyone else does the work, annoying Rei.
"Hey, Alakazam! We can't win without you! Now get in there and help out!" Rei ordered but her Alakazam ignores her flipping her the Pidgey
"Oh no, Alakazam is not listening to Rei." Makoto gulped
"Rai."
"Come on!" Rei shouted as she drags Alakazam to the ice sled that is almost done "You have to help out and use your damn spoons to help carve!"
Alakazam then uses her spook but first bonks Rei on the head with it causing her to yelp in pain causing Ash to flinch when he, Ami, Usagi and May were done with the Sled first as Alakazam then picks the ice with her spoons carving it in the process, and with that, Makoto and Rei were the second ones done and then the others finished after Makoto and Rei, then Rei's Alakazam folded her arms cross.
"Ash, Ami, Usagi and May have finished their sleds first! Making them the winners!" Setsuna called
"Oh yeah!" Ash, Ami, Usagi and May cried doing all way high five and congratulating their Pokémon
"Well, I don't know how you did it, Ash, but you just won the second round for yourself and the other challengers." Dan mentioned
Then before the final round would begin, Ash sees Rei sadly recalls her Alakazam and her Pokémon then he walks over to her to comfort her.
"Hey, Rei I saw what happened with you and your Alakazam." Ash said holding her by the shoulder
"Ashy, I don't know what got with my Alakazam, I mean she stopped listening to me after she evolved, and even when she became an Alakazam she wouldn't listen to me no matter what I say." Rei said trying to hold back her tears
"Rei, I wish there is something I could do. I could help you have your Alakazam listen to you more during battle, I'm not sure how, but I will do it." Ash said "We'll get your Alakazam back into shape in no time.
This made Rei a little better and she embraces her lover and so did Makoto. "Sweetie, I'm happy that you really want to help your Shrine princess. You always have the heart to help out Pokemon and other people in need."
"Since you won Last time, want to team up with me and Rei?" Makoto asked "Please? Rei is feeling really sad, and we need you by our side to make her happy and she'll be back on her feet and her Pokémon will start listening to her again."
"You bet!" Ash accepted and Usagi chimed in
"I'll join you, Mako and Rei!" Usagi cried "you have to choose one of your favorite girls to join you!"
"Me, Usagi and May had a talk while you comforted Rei, and I think Usagi should go with you." Ami said
Ash accepts Usagi in and she embraces Ash more then any girl could ever embrace him making Ash's four team being the princesses of the Moon, Mars & Jupiter making Ami proud of Ash for having a pure heart and the guts to do what's right and just.
Soon, the sleds are finished, and the gym leader and challengers formed into separate teams are now facing a starting line and a path that leads down the mountain for the third and final round this time split into teams Ash, Usagi, Rei and Makoto are team one, Ami, May, Minako and Duplica are team two, Mamoru, Naru, Sorrel and Verity are team three and Haruka, Michiru, Unazuki and Hotaru are team Four.
"Well, it's all downhill from here." Misty murmured
"This is the final round of this best two out of three round challenge! It will be a race all the way to the shore of the island! The first team to cross the goal line with their one of their chosen Pokémon wins!" Setsuna called "Ash, Makoto, Usagi and Rei have Chosen Pikachu, Raichu, Vulpix and Clefairy! Ami, May, Minako and Duplica has chosen Vaporeon, Ditto, Torchic and Pikachu! Mamoru, Naru, Sorrel and Verity has chosen Piplup, Chimchar, Eevee, and Machamp! And finally Haruka, Michiru, Unazuki and Hotaru have chosen Pikachu, Umbreon, Espeon, Cyniquill! While Dan has chosen Geodude! Trainers, board your sleds!"
Soon, our heroes and Danny have boarded their sleds. Their Pokémon are ready and at 'em.
"Wait for the green light!" Setsuna said as she, Misty, Daisy, Tracey, Violet, Lilly, Erika and Jeanette heads to the cable car to get to the finish line to meet the winner.
Soon, the start light turns to green, then Right then and there, all four teams race down the mountain side at a tremendous rate, with Dan being in the middle of them.
"Right! Now left! Hold it there! Stay on course, everyone! You're doing great!" Ash called
"Woah! This is intense!" Usagi cried
"Sweetie! Make sure we don't bump into anything! Remember like your skiing!" Rei cried
"Woah, dude! We're getting in front of everyone, hang on!" Makoto should
"Turn right, turn left! You're all doing wonderfully!" Ami called to her comrades and Pokemon
"Port to stern! To the starboard!" Haruka called
"A little to the left! I mean the right!" Duplica called
And while the teams are sliding through the snow, Ash's team sled through a ice cave and then they went out of the cave making them a bit far in the lead, then behind are teams two, three and four and Dan.
"Careful! We're almost halfway down the mountain and to the finish line! There's some dirt coming!" Dan called
Then on cue, Ash's team's sled touched dirt, as it slowly deforms Meanwhile, at the finish line, the rest of the group waits as the racers reach rougher terrain. Then Ash's sled leaps on ahead over a rock like a ramp, they jumped over it, causing their sled to dissolve slowly. Dan and Ash, Makoto, Usagi and Rei are neck to neck.
"Ah! Our sled is coming apart!" Usagi cried
"We're almost there!" Rei shouted
"Look!" Misty cried
"Here they come!" Erika cried
"Who is it?" Tracey cried
"It's Ash's team and Dan!" Setsuna called
"Papa Ash! Mama Usagi, Mama Mako, Mama Rei!" Chibiusa cried "Sister Hotaru!"
"Hang on!" Ash cried
Then as Ami's, Haruka's and Mamoru's team are close behind them, their sleds are almost dissolved giving the racers more momentum, but worrying everyone at the finish line. Then Ash's team slide sideways like they are turning right to go left move.
"It's gonna be close!" Daisy called
Then on cue, Ash, Makoto, Usagi and Rei slide all the way to the finish line and into the water, creating a rainbow on impact everyone can't believe their eyes, Ami, whose her team crossed second, is happy for Ash for winning.
"They won!" Tracey cried
"Not just for himself, but per the rules of the challenge, he won it for the gals, too!" Violet agreed
"That was a rough ride." Ash said as he, Pikachu, Vulpix, Clefairy, Raichu, Makoto, Rei and Usagi resurfaced from the water
"I'll say…." Usagi said as she swims to Ash and embraced him
"Pikachu."
"We were awesome!" Makoto cried happily
she then picks Ash up and holds him on her arms with him holding, Rei and Usagi at the same time which Makoto is strong enough to lift the three up and Ash's Pikachu lays down in the middle of the two girls, as the gang stood with Ash Dan has something for them.
"Ash. You and the others were great. You all chose your Pokémon well and you won it for your fellow challengers, two out of three. Now I'd like to give you and your fellow challengers something you and your comrades really deserve, Ash. The Sea Ruby badge." Dan said
In his hand lies the Sea Ruby Badge which It is shaped like a giant clam shell with a small gemstone on it. Makoto sets Ash down as he sets the two girls down gently Ash is in disbelief, but his look turns to one of happiness they top each of the badges and held them up high.
"All right! We got a Sea Ruby Badge!" Ash, Makoto, Rei and Usagi called
"Pi Pikachu!"
"Rai Raichu!"
"They're keepers too!" Ami, Minako, May, Chibiusa and Hotaru called
Later, after receiving their badges, our heroes are waving goodbye to Dan while they set sail for another island with Dan receiving an autograph picture of Ash and his gang in the Kanto Hall of Fame that reads 'I Choose You! Dan! -Ash Ketchum'
"Bye! Good luck on the rest of your journey! And thank you for the Autograph! You all rock!" Dan called
"Till we meet again!" Ash and his gang called
And so, with courage, skill, and a little bit of luck, Ash earns his second Orange League badge, and he also earned it for Ash Ketchum, Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Chibiusa, Hotaru, Naru Osaka, Duplica, Erika, Jeanette Fisher, Unazuki, May, Misty, Verity, Setsuna Meiou, Daisy, Lilly, Violet, Mamoru, Sorrel, Haruka Tenoh, and Michiru Kaioh. No one knows what's next for our heroes, but there's a new adventure just beyond the horizon. As the Journey continues!
