*Present Mic narration*

Mineta looked up at the number one hero with awe.

"Yes, young man. I saw what you did in that alleyway." All Might boomed

Mineta looked down at his feet, waiting for All Might to scold him, but the scolding never came.

"Young Mineta...You are a true hero!" All Might exclaimed, applauding Mineta.

Mineta only looked at All Might in confusion

"But I used my quirk to hurt someone." Mineta said, eyes downcast as he knew that he violated the law.

"That you did, but a true hero jumps to the rescue without hesitation, their bodies moving before they think." All Might said, crouching down so he can put a hand on the short teen's shoulder. "This is why I have chosen you to be my successor." All Might finished, smiling brightly at Mineta.

The number one hero's statement caused Mineta to look at him in confusion and shock. "Successor? What do you mean?" Mineta asked.

"My quirk is called One For All. It is a stockpiling quirk that's passed down generation to generation. It also adds the quirks of it's previous wielders and grants the next one their quirks usage. I am the eighth holder. You, Minoru Mineta, will be the ninth." All Might explained to Mineta, still smiling.

Mineta looked up at All Might with hope. "Since I'm sure you want to go to U.A., there is a ten month period between now and the entrance exam, so you will train until then." All Might told Mineta, giving him a look of approval. "We'll start tomorrow." All Might told Mineta while Mineta nodded in understanding.

The next day...After school

Mineta finally arrived at the location All Might gave him. Arriving at the former tourist magnet turned public dumpster, Dagobah Beach, he sees his new sensei. Running over to meet him, he shouts, "Hey Sensei!!!", causing All Might to be startled, deflating into his skeletal form an entering a coughing fit of blood.

"Sorry about that, you startled me there Young Mineta." All Might apologized, wiping off some blood from his lips.

Mineta then shyly scratched the back of his head. "I'm sorry I startled you." Mineta responded.

"Anyway, as training, you'll be cleaning up this section of the beach. I made a training regimen for you to complete during this 10 month period, and diet for you to follow. as well." All Might explained, Mineta nodding along.

"Okay, where do you want me to start?", Mineta asked, looking around the trash infested beach.

All Might guides Mineta to a more secluded part of the beach, and Mineta gets to work as All Might explains why Mineta needs to train.

Four months into the preparatory period, All Might is jogging when Mineta comes up beside him, despite the fact that All Might told him it was a rest day. Concerned, All Might stops.

"Young Mineta? Why are you overworking yourself?" All Might asked him.

"I need to prove to everyone that I'm not a waste of their time. That I'm worth their effort and trouble." Mineta responded, his voice wavering.

All Might merely smiled and put his hand on the short teen's shoulder, having to crouch slightly to do so. "You don't need to prove yourself to anyone but you. You are worth the effort." All Might told Mineta.

Mineta only hugged and started crying into All Might, who only comforted the small boy

Day of UA's entrance exam

Mineta stood in front of All Might, who was looking around at the spotless beach impressed.

"Now, I can bestow upon you One For All." All Might announced as he pulled a hair off his head, and held it out towards Mineta. "Eat this!" All Might exclaimed, causing Mineta to look at it with disgust, before grabbing it and swallowing the hair.

"Now go, Young Mineta! No time to waste!" All Might boomed, causing Mineta to make his way to U.A.

Several hours later, Mineta arrives at U.A.'s front gates. He makes his way inside before he sees a taller boy with wild green hair trip, causing Mineta to run to help him up, before he sees the boy shoot a literal pillar of fire out of his mouth and uses it to

*Midoriya Izuku. His quirk, Firewall. This awesome quirk lets its user create walls, pillars, platforms, and even windows and doors out of fire breathed out from their mouth, but the flames don't hurt the user. Don't overuse it though! Too many flames can make them lose oxygen.*

Mineta, amazed by this, ran up to the boy.

"Wow!! That's a cool quirk!!!" Mineta exclaimed, causing the Midoriya to smile at him.

"Thanks!!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"Well I'll wish you luck!" Mineta said as he hurried onwards into U.A..

Two hours later, Mineta found himself looking at the massive doors of training ground Gamma, the size of the doors making Mineta feel like ant.

Looking around, he noticed the wide variety of quirks present.

Before he could strike up a conversation with someone, he noticed the doors were open. After a couple minutes, he heard the voice of Present Mic exploding out of the speakers.

"What are you doing little listeners?! Life doesn't give you a count down!!" Present Mic exclaimed.

Hearing this, Mineta and the rest of the examinees ran into training grounds Gamma, and began the physical half of their entrance exam.
