Author's Note: Sorry it took soooo excruciatingly long to update with a new chapter and sorry if it annoyed some people that I've kept changing a few things on some previous chapters, school has been kicking my butt, thankfully it's spring break for me so hopefully I'll have some more time to work more on this story during the week. Also I do appreciate the follows and favs and of course the one review I've gotten (Though I could use a little more reviews, seriously I want to know what you guys think of this story so far, I'm not forcing you to, just asking for a friend).
Also, seeing as Women's Month is coming to a close, I'd be interested to know who your favorite Nintendo ladies are and why, because at the end of this chapter, I'm going to tell you my top 10 favorite Nintendo girls so stay tuned for that.

Chapter 10: "Peril In Paris!"
The air was mostly tense inside the S.O.R.A transport ship, for Luigi at least. He's always been the cowardly Mario brother, and this time he has every reason to be. After all, who wouldn't freak out in a situation such as this. The twelve of them were going up against a giant hand that manipulates reality with just a twitch of his huge finger alongside his massive army, so he knows that if they mess up, they'd lose everything and everyone they love, including Daisy, forever. While he was scared, he knew that in order to keep everyone safe, he needed to fight back along with these new faces.
His worried expression didn't go unnoticed by Jigglypuff and Samus, who were in the ship with him, the latter of the two flying the ship. "Jiggly (Luigi)?" Asked the Balloon Pokémon, making the cowardly plumber snap out of his thoughts and face her, "Jiggly Jigglypuff (Are you alright)?"
Luigi sighed, "I'm-a fine," He said, "Just a little nervous."
Samus looked back, "But you seemed to jump on in as soon as your brother made his speech." She said, "Why would you be nervous now?"
"It's-a just-" He sighed again, "It's always been me and-a Mario against the world, not to mention I'm-a scared. If we fail this, we could-a lose everyone we care about. I guess on one hand, I was just-a worried that you'd all judge me for being frightened, but on the other hand, I knew that this is-a the only way to protect the ones we love. So there you have it."
After a while, the Balloon Pokémon spoke up, "Jiggly, Jigglypuff Jiggly Jiggly (Luigi, do you think you're the only one who's scared)?" She asked him, "Jigglypuff Puff Jigglypuff Jiggly (You don't think I'm scared)?" She continued, "Jigglypuff Jiggly Puff Puff Jiggly Jiggly (This is much bigger than any Pokémon battle me or Pikachu have ever been involved in)!" She sighed, "Jigglypuff Jiggly (But we can't let that stop us)."
"She's right." Said Samus, remembering how Gray Voice called out to her when she became traumatized by Ridley and helped her face her fear, "I know this is going to sound strange coming from me, but even I get scared, used to, until I remember that I can't let fear cloud my judgement," She sighed, "I know it must be hard for you, Luigi, but we all have to face our fears at some point." That sentiment made the green-clad plumber smile, and the huntress smiled back. However the sentiment would have to wait as the ship's computer started beeping, "We're here, so you better get ready."
Luigi and Jigglypuff then looked out the window to see the citadel that the Polygon soldiers had set up right next to the Eiffel Tower, but they also saw that the soldiers were armed with cannons and swords, considering the latest threat to their invasion, "Oh no," Breathed Luigi, "It's-a just as bad as Hal City."
Samus then narrowed her eyes, "Alright you two," She said, "We're gonna have to be stealthy for this mission, so I'm bringing her down."
The streets of the City of Love were crawling with Polygon soldiers. After converting the transport ship to stealth mode, camouflaging it as part of a nearby building, and landing by said building, the three heroes got out and skulked around the streets, Luigi using a Vanish Flower and Samus cloaking her own suit, Jigglypuff didn't have any way of hiding herself so Luigi gave her a spare Vanish Flower that he had. They snuck around the streets and sneak-attacked any soldiers they came too close to. But as they got closer, Luigi noticed a little girl and her mother about to be struck by a Polygon soldier holding a javelin. He held his hand up and fired a lightning bolt at the soldier, eviscerating it, but the family was unharmed and ran as soon as the smoke cleared. Unfortunately, that made Samus lose her focus and she bumped into a soldier, thankfully, she shot the soldier's head off before it called her out. Samus then felt something grab her shoulder, she turned and immediately got into a defensive position as a Polygon soldier grabbed her wrist and crushed the suit's wrist, but not her own, deactivating her cloaking device. Luigi and Jigglypuff saw this and rushed over to help her out, but Samus went ahead and shot the soldier in the head after it requested backup. "Well, it looks like stealth is out the window." The huntress remarked as she saw eight Polygon soldiers ready to attack them.
Luigi and Jigglypuff got rid of the Vanish Flowers and engaged in combat. The Green Wonder jumped and stomped on a soldier's head and followed it up with slamming his Ultra Hammer into its head. The singing Pokémon used Amnesia on two of the soldiers that were about to strike her, but forgot due to the attack, leaving them wide open to a Pound from her. The armored huntress used her Plasma Whip to swing a soldier into two that were advancing toward Luigi, who used an Ice Flower to freeze two soldiers advancing on the three. When the soldiers were finished, the three heroes looked to where the citadel was, "I'm-a really starting to wish that-a Kirby came with-a us." Said Luigi, nervously, "He could-a probably eat that-a thing with that-a Hypernova form of his."
"You can't win fights with just raw power alone, Luigi," Replied Samus, "We just need to take out the citadel." She then pointed to the aforementioned citadel, "All the soldiers, tanks, and ships are coming from there. All we need to do is put it out of commission and they're done for."
"Good-a plan," said the Green Wonder, "But I don't-a think they'll let us in without a fight."
"Jig, Jigglypuff Jigglypuff Puff Puff Jiggly (Yeah, I mean it's not like we could just drive in there or something)."
As Jigglypuff said that, Samus noticed an unoccupied tank, 'Why would they just leave a tank out here where an enemy could easily take it.' She thought, but shrugged it off because it gave her an idea, "You know what, 'Puff? That's not such a bad idea."
The Polygon soldiers waiting at the citadel were approached by a commanding officer, "Come with me!" He told two of them, "The scanners have detected three of the insurgents Master Hand told us about!"
The other soldiers agreed and the rest decided to stay behind. The three soldiers looked inside an abandoned shop until one of them felt a tap on its shoulder, it turned around only to get punched out by a metallic fist. When the other soldiers turned to see it, one of them felt an electric shock in its back before falling unconscious, the commanding officer was taken out when a stubby fingerless hand grabbed it and suplexed it into the ground, knocking him out. "Get in." Samus told Luigi and Jigglypuff, who complied.
"Can-a you drive this thing?" Asked Luigi when the three got in the tank.
"I think so." She answered as she drove the tank towards the citadel, "Okay, just a reminder of the plan, we use the tank as a disguise to get into the citadel, from there we can mess up their chances and stop their attack here, if we manage to do so, we're good." The bounty huntress explained.
"Jigglypuff (And if they find us)?" Jigglypuff asked.
"Then we die."
"Jiggly (Just making sure)." Then they heard a rattling noise and turned to the green-clad plumber, who was shaking out of fear.
"Luigi/Jiggly (Luigi)!" Samus and Jigglypuff whisper-yelled in unison.
He smiled nervously and stopped shaking after the girls looked at him, "Sorry." They all immediately returned their focus to the mission.
After that exchange, the tank moved past some of the soldiers but didn't care because some of them were naïve enough to think that one of their own was inside, which relieved them. They saw the citadel come into their vision, the main entrance opened when the tank was close enough and they watched as the soldiers viewed the monitors of the citadel, while others entered through hovercrafts. Samus then saw a row of tanks and stopped it there. The three of them got out of the tank and made sure to remain silent because it wasn't time to let their presence be known just yet. They saw the main control panel on the top floor, however there were a lot of soldiers and war machines at the gate. "Okay, the way I see it, we need stealth to do this, going for a full frontal attack is too risky." Samus explained.
"Then how are we gonna get in?" Asked Luigi.
The huntress only smirked under her helmet, "Actually, Luigi," She said as she tapped a few buttons on her arm cannon and activated a holo-matrix in her suit which gave her the guise of a Polygon soldier, much to the other two's surprise.
"Samus," Breathed Luigi, "Is that-a really you?"
"Yup," The half-Chozo answered, "The cloaking device implanted in my armor can also disguise me as anything my mind can think of."
'Making me wonder why she didn't think about using it when we were sneaking in earlier.' Jigglypuff thought to herself.
"Now listen," Samus told them, "I did some scans of several Polygon soldiers before this, so using this disguise might give me access to their controls in the fortress without their suspicion. While I do that, you two do your part." She gave them circular devices, "Once the shields are down, blow the ships and tanks and whatnot to bits."
"Jiggly (Understood)." Saluted Jigglypuff.
"Good-a luck." Said Luigi as Samus saluted them. The galactic huntress separated from the two and walked upstairs to the main entrance without much difficulty due to the passing by soldiers naïvely assumed that she was one of their own, she saw her allies sneak up to the war machines, showing that they were ready, it was her turn now, she entered the main control room and observed the camera footage. She pressed her hand against it, sending an electronic pulse that shut down the screens, along with the rest of the room, which the soldiers within noticed.
"What happened?" A soldier saw the disguised huntress, "You there, state your business!"
Its response was a solid jab to the face as Samus undid her disguise and sent several electric waves, enough to shock them unconscious.
Meanwhile, Luigi and Jigglypuff placed the bombs in as many ships, tanks and war machines as they could, once they were all in place they regrouped together, "Puff… Jiggle (And… Kaboom)." Jigglypuff said with a smirk as Luigi pulled the trigger that Samus gave them, arming the bombs and causing numerous explosions, turning the mass of war machines, tanks, and anything else the bombs were attached to into dust and scrap. "Jiggly (Alright)!" Jigglypuff cheered.
"Samus, we did our job, what about you?" Luigi said into his communicator.
"The soldiers in the control room have been dealt with, but if we're gonna completely wipe this thing off the face of the planet, we need to short out the whole power grid here, it only takes a concentrated amount of electricity."
"What are you waiting-a for then?" The eternal understudy and the sleepy singer watched in awe as a bright flash of light is seen throughout the whole citadel, not only shutting down its power, but Samus ensured that she only hit anything that bared resemblance to a Polygon soldier, in only a minute, the whole citadel powered down, Samus vacated herself from the control room and reunited with the group.
The huntress' helmet vanished as she smiled at the Green Wonder and the singing Pokémon, "Mission accomplished." She told them.
"Wonderful!" Cheered Luigi as he and Jigglypuff shared a hi-five.
"Jiggly (Alright)!"
Samus decided to let the director of S.O.R.A know their progress, "Director Sakurai, this is Samus Aran, we've shut down the citadel in Paris, can you send your men to bring some cuffs for every Polygon soldier in this area?"
"They're on their way. Great job." The director responded.
The huntress turned to her allies, "That's one down, three to go, let's just hope the others have as much luck as we do."
"Samus," Said Luigi, "I don't-a think luck played any part in this." He smiled, and Samus smiled back.
Within a few minutes, S.O.R.A soldiers swarmed around the area and cuffed the remaining Polygon soldiers who started to wake up, however the war was still far from over.
