Chapter 4

Darien sat in his office going over some important documents and signing papers off. He looked up to notice he had a missed call from Anthony. Darien returned the call. Hey Mr. Shields so I did some digging around about the woman you told me to look up and turns out she has a whole lot going on in her life I sent you what I could pull up and emailed it to you let me know what you think and call me back. Okay thank you good job Anthony. Darien then opened his email and sitting there amongst his many others new emails was the one he was looking for. Darien quickly clicked on the email as if it was burning his hand not to click. Darien sat and read then extensive amount of information that he had been sent. Anthony was right this was some very juicy interesting information.

With this new found knowledge Darien now could gain the upper hand in the situation with Serena he would claim her as his own. He would make a may to make Andrew leave for a few months as well as he worked his magic. This made his day even better. Soon there was a call on his office phone. Darien the board members are here and the meeting will be starting in about twenty minutes the woman on the line spoke . Okay thank you I will be there momentarily. Darien decided before heading to the meeting he would call Anthony back. Anthony this is very good work if you could get this much information in a half a day I can only imagine what else you will bring to me.

Darien got up from his seat to walk over to his full-length mirror to look at himself. Darien smirked at his appearance he looked very smooth and handsome as usual. Being pleased that he still looked of perfection he strode to the main meeting room. When Darien arrived almost everyone was already seated. The only person that was still not there was Mr august smith himself. Darien knew how his father was he didn't wait for nobody they waited for him. Mr shields finally arrived ten minutes later with his secretary and personal assistant following behind him. Darien knew his father was faithful to his mother but he still enjoyed having beautiful woman in his corner and his personal assistant and secretary were both beautiful women. Darien knew that if his father was a cheater that would make it very simple his personal assistant was always around. Then the idea finally hit him. If he made Serena his personal assistant nobody would question him about her always being around.

Once the meeting was over Darien walked over to his father. Dad may I speak to you. Of course son what is it. I was wondering if it's possible that I have a personal assistant? Darien is the job too much for you do I need to cut your hours or change your workload. No dad everything is fine this job is not the problem. Then what is it son mr shields said putting his arm on his shoulders walking him out of the room. Darien then decided at that moment to be completely honest of his attentions. Mr shields stood there shocked. Son I have to say you are brilliant I can't say that I fault you if this job will keep you close to this girl then so be it. Hopefully this is the woman you actually can see. Yourself settling down with. I think so sad I'm still analyzing her. Well I will get the job for you I will even allow you to create the pay range yourself, good luck son.

The work day came to an end it was now well past 4:30 pm and Darien wanted to go on campus to see a certain woman. Right before he was about to go that direction Andrew called him. Hey Darien you're not busy are you. No I was going to make a quick stop but is everything ok Andrew. Yes Darien I was just making sure you had no plans this weekend. Well at the moment no. So you're not traveling or going to any nightclubs right? Correct. Okay because I have invited Serena over to make it up to her this Friday and I wanted to everyone to be there. Darien ears perked up he would get to see Serena again in two days this was perfect. Okay Andrew since this is so important to you I will be there. Darien just really couldn't believe how extremely lucky he was things just always appeared to just be handed to him. And unsuspecting Andrew didn't know that he was handing his girlfriend over to him.

Mina and Serena both had different emotions. It was finally Friday and Serena was a ball of nerves. Mina was busy in her closet picking out an outfit for her to wear. Mina finally decided on something an hour later while Serena went with her usual comfy look. Soon the girls called for a ride to drop them off at the penthouse. What time did Andrew tell us to come over. Serena looked at her phone he said by 6:00 pm. Perfect it's only 5:40 we are early. Mina and Serena arrived at the front desk and the receptionist asked who they were here? Mr Andrew smith please. One moment while I call and verify. Ok ladies you may proceed to elevator 8 enjoy your day the receptionist spoke to them once again.

Darien had answered the call from downstairs she was here. Darien decided to pretend like he was doing something else so he stood by the window With a drink in his hand looking down at the traffic below. With them being at the very top floor he couldn't see much. Soon the elevator dinged. Hello is anyone home he heard from the front hall. Darien stood his ground. Whoa is all he heard and he turned to catch Serena jabbing Mina. Welcome ladies please make yourself at home he told them. Your place is spectacular how many rooms. I've never counted but I know there are 6 bedrooms and 4 private quarters 11 bathrooms that is all I know. And there is a total of 3 floors all together. Mina sat there with her mouth wide open. Darien thought this girl was was much easier to impress. Darien noticed he was turning back to his bragging ways. He couldn't help it though it was who he was.

Soon Andrew came from the back rooms you made it and oh you've brought a friend. Hello I'm Andrew he said shaking Mina's hand. I know exactly who you are but I'm Mina. Are you Serena's cousin sister? No im just her roommate she laughed. You guys look strangely alike. Mina hugged Serena I know right we're both as cute as a button. Soon everyone started discussing everything. The conversation was going great when the elevator dinged once again. This time seven very good looking people dressed in name brand clothing stepped off the elevator. Perfect Andrew said getting up. Andrew then started to make the introductions. There was Ami a blue haired woman with large framed glasses, Reiann who went by Rei who was apparently Darien's younger sister by one year, and Lita a tall beautiful brunette. The guys consisted of Jed blonde haired cool funny one, neph the tall laid back brunette, zoi the pretty boy blonde and kunz gorgeous icy serious one. Each just as beautiful as the last.

We've heard so much about you Serena Rei stepped up to speak but may I ask who your guest is is she related to you. No she is my roommate Mina I hope this isn't a problem. Not at all Lita said. All the girls then went to the balcony to enjoy each others company and get to know each other. The girls really hit it off. Soon Serena felt comfortable and started to let her guard down. These people were nothing like she was told or heard. Inside the guys were congratulating Andrew. Man andrew I didn't know you had it in you. Your first girlfriend and she is gorgeous. How did you meet her again. And how old is she she looks tiny. Well we met on campus we both had things in our hands blocking our view. We were both running late and we ran into each other. I looked into her eyes and just like that I just had to know her. And she is 19 years old her birthday was in june. And what about her friend kunz asked. Her friend im not too sure I just met her. I will be sure to get to know her myself.

Well I guess that leaves the two pretty boys single ladies man Darien and too icy kunz Jed joked. Not for long kunz said taking another sip of the liquid in his cup if Mina is single then I'll be having my fun with her soon. The guys all laughed. Soon the girls all came back in and kunz slowly started making his way to Mina. So Mina tell me about yourself. Well I'm from here in sealine I'm 19 years old I'm a fashion major I love hanging out with friends and shopping. Kunz then told her about himself and his rich family and his interest. I'm 23 years old and single he threw that part in there. Do you have a boyfriend Mina. I don't she responded. Hmmm interesting hey can we talk somewhere a little more private he asked and they were off. Everyone else did some whooping and hollering and told them to be good as the duo left the room. Serena laughed they were very down to earth.

Next Serena got up to use that bathroom and Darien had an idea he got up a few seconds after Serena when no one was noticing. When she was coming back to join everyone he pumped into her slapping her phone out of her hand making sure to break it. Oh my I'm so sorry Darien did I hurt you. Of course it was like Serena to apologize when it was clearly not her fault. I'm fine Darien said as he bent down praying to the stars that he had indeed broke her phone. As he picked it up it was shattered. Ohhh I apologize I broke your phone not paying attention. It is ok I should have been paying more attention myself. As they walked back to the group Darien stopped her listen let me make it up to you can you I have an extra phone that I am not using brand new. Are you sure she asked. Of course. It's already activated and everything.

This was no surprise to the rest of the group they were used to Darien having multiple phones. Darien went to his room to test the phone out everything he did mirrored into his phone. Every text picture and phone call me hade came to his other phone. He had bugged Serena's new phone and would know where she was and who she was talking to at all times. Darien went back downstairs to hand over her new phone with the charger and other accessories over to Serena. She was amazed this phone was amazing nothing like the old model phone she had. She thanked Darien and so did Andrew. Oh just to let you know it will be under my account if that's ok but I'll take care of the bill. Darien you are the best Andrew said. Here let's program your contacts and everything Andrew said.

Andrew put his arms around her waist and led her down the hall. Darien wasn't too happy about this and he knew there was no way he could watch the couple, he had to make sure Andrew wouldn't take her virginity. He wanted to be the one to deflower Serena. Darien sat in his chair pouring n himself a drink after drink. He was getting upset because it had been thirty minutes and they were still alone in another room. Darien however knew there was nothing going on because Serena was texting Mina. Soon all the guest were ready to leave since it was getting late. Andrew and Serena finally emerged from the room they were in all nuzzling with each other. Soon everyone was gone except Mina, kunz and Serena. Well I guess we should call our ride Mina said. I'll drive you all Darien spoke. I don't think that's a good idea kunz said you've been drinking a little too much I'll take them home. Soon everyone was gone except Andrew and Darien. Well good night Darien I'm heading to bed I have a date with Serena tomorrow.
