A/N Welcome back everyone! I know it's been a long time I had problems with my computer and had to buy a whole new one. I have another explanation to share with you all, but I'm gonna hold it until the end of the chapter. I also got an important announcement to make at the end of this chapter as well. As for this chapter, this one is similar to the chapter where Nicholas was the focus. Will is featured in a minimum and there will be no narration lines. So enjoy!
Search for the Missing Bike.
Lincoln took uptown, he raced down the city streets his face shifting from left to right to see where the bike might be at. He was riding Lynn's bike, she actually agreed to a trade for Lori's bike after she used it to win first place in a bike racing contest. Lincoln felt extremely grateful to not have to ride around on a girly bike and be humiliated.
Lincoln complained in his head. "Man it's been more than a day! That bike could be anywhere by now. Another city, another state even! I can't give up though I gotta keep looking. I got Will in this, I gotta get him out."
Clyde took the city park. Clyde walked along the pathways with his bike at his sides.
Clyde was squinting his eyes as he watched closely to see all walking pedestrians and fellow bike riders.
Clyde thought. "This park is where many cyclists gather to ride, and get their daily exercise. This place is a perfect place to scout in case the bike comes by this way."
Liam was checking around the farmlands around his home and outside of town.
Liam talked to himself. "Lincoln told me to keep an eye out here, in case the bike attempts to leave town. Smart thinking on his end. I know these parts well, If those thieves want to make off with Will's bike they gotta get by me!"
Unfortunately Rusty was assigned to downtown, it wasn't an awful place for Royal Woods, but whenever the news reported on something bad happening in the town, it usually happened there. Rusty shook and sweated a little as he looked around the area to see if there's any clues, although he had to stay on his own bicycle. Amongst all the ordinary people going about their business. Rusty could feel the many shady eyes looking at him, sending chills up his spine
Rusty gulped. "Man, downtown is big! I gotta search this place quickly and get outta here! Just keep your eyes on the prize man, eyes on the prize. Besides, my skills with the ladies should be able to help me, in case I get in trouble with dangerous people…...right?"
Zach was going around the neighborhoods around the Loud's home, in case the bike was parked at someone's house.
Zach grumbled in frustration. "All I can see are the front yards, driveways, and the insides of anyone's garage if the doors happen to be open. I could tell for sure if I could look inside the back yards. That's where someone is most likely to park a bike."
Ronnie Anne rode on her skateboard down to the Diner where the bike was seen last. She's combing the area for it but her eyes kept shifting back to the establishment, not even letting it out of her sight. She had a plan.
She thought hard about her plan. "Thieves always return to the scene of the crime, perhaps the thief will come by with it."
Back with Lincoln he came across a bike rack next to the mall. No sign of Will's bike here.
Lincoln pondered to himself. The mall is a good place. Lots of people around to see it. It could turn up around here eventually.
At this time Leni exited the Mall with a couple of her friends. When she saw her brother she sent her friends away for a moment so she could talk to him.
"Hi Lincoln, what brings you here?"
Lincoln, didn't look at her, he was focused on his important mission.
"I'm looking for Will's bike. I think I might find a clue here if not the bike itself."
Leni thought for a moment and needed a refresher.
"What does it look like?"
Lincoln sighed and took the time to answer. "It's mostly red, and black."
Leni thought for a moment. "Ah! I think I may have seen it here!"
Lincoln snapped to attention upon hearing that. "REALLY!? WHERE!?"
Leni thought some more before answering. "I saw a little girl around Dairy Land with it."
"Thanks a lot Leni!" Lincoln smiled as he raced off to the theme park.
Leni thought some more as Lincoln disappeared, and before rejoining her friends.
"Now, was it red and black? Or maybe…...No that's right."
Back to Downtown Rusty was in a safe area of the town to rest, he came across a group of three, rather attractive teenage girls, around sixteen years old, leaving a coffee shop. Two were brunettes and the third was blonde. They also wore lots of makeup, especially eyeliner and lipstick and tight white clothing. Despite their faces not looking as if they weren't very friendly, Rusty looked at them with wide eyes, as if he was looking at angels. Rusty then got an idea.
"Hmmm, maybe I can work some magic to try to get some information, and maybe a date." He brushed back his hair with his hand and approached the teens.
"Hello ladies nice day today?" He spoke with confidence and gave them a smile. The teens just rolled their eyes at him. Rusty didn't let that disway him. He decided to turn up his charm and get to the point. Unfortunately he tried to make up something to make himself seem like a big deal.
"Now ladies, I may not look it, but I'm…. Actually a private investigator." That seemed to catch their attention.
"Oh and what is it you're investigating?" The blonde asked, sounding interested in the young boy, but she sounded a touch of sarcasm in it. She winked to her friends and they all smirked.
Rusty unfortunately was too overcome by the ladies charms to notice.
He continued. "You see, I'm hot on the trail for a particular stolen item."
"Oh how great of you to take on such a hard case. You must be really brave!" One of the brunettes cooed.
Rusty spoke, but with more confidence. "Oh it's an important bike, one that was stolen by dangerous people. The poor guy who owns it is depending on me to brave all sorts of danger to get it back."
"Oh wow, you're a real man." The other brunette praised.
"Please you're too kind." Rusty smiled his heart racing at the praise he's getting from these beauties. "Now have you ladies seen it by chance?" The three ladies giggled to each other.
The blonde spoke up. "Oh I believe I saw it, three huge guys carried it down there!" then she pointed to a dark alleyway. One that appearance clearly shows 'Danger! Only A Moron Would Willingly Walk Here! Stay Away No Matter What!'
Rusty gulped staring down it and began to sweat a cool sweat, the passage was so dark you couldn't see all the way down it. He knows all too well, that this alley was filled to the brim with danger.
"Surely that wouldn't be too hard for a tough guy like yourself? Would it?" One of the brunettes flirted, affectionately running her finger along Rusty's chin. His face lit up red at this sudden affection, he gulped trying to force himself to be brave.
"Never fear I'll show you ladies what I'm made of!" Rusty boasted. He gulped once more before climbing on his bike and peddled down into the dark.
The teens immediately broke out laughing once Rusty was out of sight.
"My god what a loser!" One of the Brunettes mocked.
"Like his smooth talking and oblivious lies would get him a date?" The other one laughed. The blonde one thought for a moment.
"I suppose he is a little cute, but you're right though. How pathetic!" She looked back to the alley almost as if her conscience was speaking to her.
Ronnie Anne finished combing her area of the city. She sat at a nearby table at a local outdoor restaurant, only ordering water to keep her bill low. She's pretending to read a newspaper and she kept eyeing the diner's bike rack. Her skateboard and helmet sat at her side, it was ok since the tables were outside.
"I can't shake this feeling, the thief has to come back soon."
"More water Ma'am?" Asked the tall skinny male waiter holding a pitcher.
Ronnie Anne, gave the waiter a pleasant smile. "Yes please, thank you!"
"Still not interested in any food?" The waiter asked, he seemed slightly annoyed that she's been at the restaurant for about fifteen minutes and hadn't ordered anything significant.
"Yes sir water will do." Ronnie Anne smiled. The waiter walked away. Ronnie Anne got nervous when she looked over her newspaper and noticed the waiter. He then began to speak to an important looking individual. Ronnie Anne's anxiety increased when she noticed that the waiter was talking to the manager about her.
"I don't have a lot of money, I need to keep my bill low, I can only order water." She muttered to herself. Her eyes kept shifting between the manager and the bike rack. "I just hope the thief returns soon."
Back with Lincoln he made it to the outside parking lot to Dairy Land.
Leni said Will's bike is around here. "I just gotta find that little girl who has it."
Lincoln made it to the bike rack, to his dismay there was only a blue bike there.
Lincoln stomped in anger, but sighed happily once he noticed that the bike he was looking for was attached to the second bike rack on the other side of the entrance to the park. He began to move through the mob that was both entering and exiting the park. He moved quickly with excitement as he apologized for his accidental steps and bumps into people. Unfortunately the fact he's moving with his bike at his side wasn't helping the situation.
"HEY!" A teenage boy yelled.
"Sorry! Excuse me please!" Lincoln asserted moving through the crowd.
"OUCH!" A man yelped.
"Watch here you stick that hand kid!" A woman shouted.
Lincoln shook his head after leaving the mob, a little shaken up about where his face, arms and hands have touched. He refocused his eyes to the bike and rushed over to it. He only eyed it for a few seconds before removing it to get away.
"HEY!" A little girl's voice shouted. Lincoln jumped at the sudden outburst and turned to see a small girl around Lola's age, with brown hair, a white shirt and blue overalls. Drop her pink ice cream cone and rush to Lincoln holding her bike. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BIKE YOU BIG MEANIE!?"
"Where did you get this bicycle?" Lincoln questioned, seemingly unphased by this girl's anger.
The girl looked at Lincoln with great anger. "My mommy and daddy gave it to me as a birthday present! My daddy taught me how to ride it! I just got the training wheels off! My mommy and daddy let me ride off to Dairy Land to celebrate my achievement!"
"This bike is strikingly similar to one my friend owned that was stolen." Lincoln said.
"That bike is mine! You're taking it from me!" The girl yelled.
"Hey! Leave her bike alone! A tall muscular man yelled." Lincoln smiled nervously and put the bicycle back. "Who do you think you are stealing my little girl's bike like this!?"
The Girl looked at the tall man in confusion. "Daddy? Why did you follow me?"
"I couldn't let you go to such a place by yourself." The man said to the girl. The man turned his attention to Lincoln who actually vanished. "Where'd he go?"
Lincoln was racing away from the park with a panicked look on his face. Overwhelmed with fear he had to get away before that man laid a finger on him.
"I'm so stupid! I should have known that it wasn't Will's bike. One, it's too small for him, two, Leni got the colors mixed up!"
Back in the farmlands Liam found a spot on a hill and he watched cars race down the hill and leave town, he saw a few trucks carrying bikes in their beds but none matched the description Lincoln gave him. However one truck came by with one bike that fits Lincoln's description. Liam sprung into action upon seeing it. Liam put a toy police light and siren on the center of the handlebars of his bike. After four minutes of Liam following the truck it slowly came to a halt.
Liam put on police style sunglasses and spat to the ground to make himself seem like a tough guy. He came to the window to see two men dressed in motocross outfits. Once they saw it was just a kid who stopped them. They immediately became angered at this interruption.
"What do you want, kid?" The driver asked, trying to sound calm.
Liam cleared his throat and tried to make his voice sound deeper even with his silly sounding south western accent. This will only take a moment young fellers. "I'm hot on the trail for a missing bicycle. One of you guys has one that matches it's description."
"Dude we don't have time for this, let's go!" The passenger in the truck asserted. The driver agreed and was about to hit the gas to drive away but Liam acted quickly and whistled loudly. To the surprise of the guys in the truck. Moos of cattle filled the air as a huge herd of them blocked the road, cutting off the path of the truck.
"How did you do that kid?" The driver asked in astonishment. Liam continued to speak in his tough guy voice.
"I live in these parts. Many of my family's animal's fields are close by and they do whatever I tell them to do." Liam smiled.
"Tell them to move or I'm gonna…" The passenger ordered throwing a finger at Liam. His friend moved his hand down.
"He's still just a kid dude."
Liam smiled. "That's more like it. If I could just inspect your bikes, I'll move the cows and you guys can be on your way."
"Kid, we didn't take your stupid bike! Now let us go!" The driver ordered.
Liam wasn't gonna budge. "Then you got nothing to worry about then." He climbed into the bed of the truck and inspected the bike that matched Lincoln's description. It matched the colors and was Will's size, but there was one huge problem. This bicycle was equipped with a motor, as was its other bike in the bed.
"Ok you guys are free to go." Liam said as he clapped his hands the herd of cattle mooed again and moved off the road. The truck immediately revved its engine and spun a tire. It took off with great haste once the road opened. Liam lost his footing and tumbled out of the truck and hit the ground. Surprisingly Liam was unharmed. A brown female cow left the herd and went to Liam to check on him and saw he was ok.
"Aw, thanks Daisy." Liam smiled petting her face.
"MOO!" The cow went affectionately licking him.
In the Neighborhoods, Zach was probably having it the easiest. He wouldn't dare sneak into other people's homes, nor their yards to search for the bike.
"Man this is so boring!" Zach whined out loud, passing through another neighborhood with no bikes parked outside. "I mean it's been two hours and we've been searching non stop. I mean come on! A bike just seemingly vanishing when Lincoln takes his eyes off it?"
Just then Zach's brain conjured a theory, after thinking about a bike suddenly vanishing.
"Hmmm. perhaps the bike was taken by some otherworldly force…...Maybe I should go and get some alien hunting equipment!" He stopped at a street corner to continue to think about his theory. "Should I? Or No? I'll sit on it, if it isn't found today. I'll try my theory tomorrow."
At the Park Clyde actually found a bike that matched Will's appearance. It was being ridden by a teenage boy and next to him was a pretty young woman on a bike of her own that was navy blue.
"There it is!" Clyde said happily. "I gotta follow them and wait until it stops. Then I'll take it back." Clyde hid behind several objects, bushes, trees, statues in the park to hopefully stay hidden as he tried to keep up with the bike. When it got too far Clyde quickly got on his dad's two seat tandem bike and followed them. He made sure to keep his distance so he couldn't be spotted. He followed them out of the park and towards a gas station Clyde hid behind a bush on the station's property. He waited until the teens parked their bikes at a nearby flagpole, they then entered the station.
Clyde snuck up to the bikes placing his dad's tandem against the wall of the station and began to inspect the bike he suspects to be Will's. Unfortunately this didn't turn out to be Will's, it was the right size, and the right color, but one small detail was wrong.
"These tires are white walls. Will doesn't have these!"
"What in God's name are you doing!?" A male voice yelled. Clyde tensed as he turned around and saw the owner of the bike standing behind him with the girl at the boy's side.
"Don't think we didn't notice you behind us!" The girl shouted.
"Why the hell were you stalking us?" The boy yelled. Clyde gulped and tried to think of a way out of this mess he's in. He figured out why they went inside the gas station.
"It's nothing! I just….um….saw your bike and wanted to take a closer look at it! It's so beautiful!" Clyde sweated and gave a nervous smile. The couple scoffed and raised their eyebrows while looking at each other. They started to calm down and issued Clyed a mild threat.
"Ok creepy." The guy said in a calm yet intimidating manner. "You saw it now get out of here before I really get mad and something bad happens."
"Yes sir!" Clyde saluted as he climbed back on his two seat bike and peddled away.
Back with Rusty he gulped as he looked back to the only light that filled the alley he was in a dark place that felt dangerous. He came to the end of the Alley and the only thing he met was two bald, huge, filthy looking men covered in piercings and tattoos who looked incredibly dangerous. They appeared to be discussing some sort of business. Once Rusty saw them he stopped and froze in fear.
"You got the stuff I want?" One of them asked.
"You got the money?" The other replied. The man nodded his head and handed him a huge wad of cash. Rusty saw it and his mouth gaped in awe.
"I should really turn around and get away, but my God! I've never seen such money!"
The other man took out a bag of pure white and clear crystals, ready to hand it to the other man, but quickly hid it once he noticed Rusty. They both stared at him with great anger and intimidation. Rusty sweated and shook.
"What are you doing here kid!?" The man with the bag roared.
"I…..I…...um…" Rusty stammered.
"What did you see!?" The other one asked.
"N….Nothing important. Just money and that white jewelry." Rusty answered, raising his hands defensively. The two men rolled their eyes.
"Sorry kid, we can't let you go!" The one with the money stated.
"We can't have you talking to anybody about what you saw today." The one with the crystals added. They immediately rushed for Rusty.
Rusty screamed and tried to turn around and peddle away on his bike, but the two men were quick and tall so they pulled Rusty off his bike and held him by the shoulders. Rusty squirmed and struggled but it did no good.
"We gotta silence him before he starts screaming." The first man warned. The other agreed. Rusty almost had an accident hearing that. Rusty knew he had to act quickly and remembered something a distant Uncle taught him. Something that he had to do in case he was in a tight spot. The ultimate weakness to target. Rusty knew that if doesn't act now, it will be too late. He tensed up his leg and launched it hard and scored a direct hit between the man's legs.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!" The man yowled in great anguish. Rusty threw his leg back behind him and scored another direct hit in between the other man's legs.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" The other one also screamed in pain, they both fell to the ground and clutching themselves as they released Rusty.
"Oh my god it worked! Thanks Uncle!" Rusty praised to the sky. He climbed on his bike and sped away. Once he returned to the light he breathed relief as he was greeted by two police officers.
"Someone called us that a boy was gonna get in trouble down here." One of the cops said.
"Yeah I'm fine now." Rusty said. "There's two guys, one of them was buying pretty white crystals down there to!"
The officer sighed as one charged down the alley.
"Those aren't crystals kid." The other cop said to him as he raced down the alley along with his partner.
Rusty needed to relax after what he just went through. He found a nearby bench to sit on, and he breathed a big inhale and softly exhaled as he just sat for a while. Suddenly the blond teen from earlier sat on the bench next to him.
"Oh hi!" Rusty said to her as his cheeks went pink.
She sighed. "I called the police. It was mean of my friends to trick you like that. It was mean of me to go along with it."
"Well I'm ok now, so it's ok." Rusty smiled.
She laughed slightly. "Yeah, I suppose you really are a man for facing those two brutes like that by yourself. So...I guess you earned this." She quickly kissed Rusty on the forehead and Rusty's mind exploded as if a bright Fourth of July celebration just began in his mind. It was as if to him the outside world no longer existed.
"Next time though, trust your instincts when you sense danger, and watch who you flirt with." The girl advised as she got up and left.
At the Restaurant Ronnie Anne became nervous once she was approached by the manager.
The manager was a well dressed lady, she spoke politely but firmly.
"Ma'am you either need to order something or leave. The water we'll put on the house, if you just leave."
Ronnie Anne sighed and got up. "Thank you guys for being so cool about everything." She smiled at the staff and left with her skateboard and helmet in hand.
Her face lit up as she walked out as she saw a bike parked back at the diner's bike rack. She got a little closer and got a really good look at it. She smiled as it's exactly what they were looking for. She took out her walkie talkie and spoke to the others.
"Hey guys! I found Will's bike! My hunch is right! All I had to do is return to the scene of the crime and it would turn up again."
"That's awesome!" The Voice of Clyde responded.
"Any idea who the thief is?" Lincoln's voice asked.
"It was aliens! I knew it!" Zach's voice interjected. Ronnie Anne just rolled her eyes.
"No word on that yet Lincoln. Just get to the diner quickly! Over and out!"
Ronnie Anne let go of the button and the conversation ended. She snuck up to look through the windows of the diner to see who the thief was. Unfortunately she couldn't see who it was, there were too many people and too much activity to properly identify the thief. She decided to wait for the others at a nearby trash can. After ten minutes they all, except Rusty finally showed up.
"You found it Ronnie Anne?" Lincoln asked.
"Yep!" Ronnie Anne pointed to the bike at the rack. They all rushed to it and inspected it closely.
"YES!" Lincoln cheered. "You rock Ronnie Anne! This is definitely Will's bike!"
Ronnie Anne had a sarcastic smug look on her face. "Yeah I suppose that a lame-o like you would have more trouble finding it would you?" Lincoln smiled and rolled his eyes, he knows she's just playing around.
Clyde noticed something unfortunate. "Sadly, there's a key lock and chain on it. We can't just take the bike back."
Finally Rusty arrived looking as if he was intoxicated.
Clyde raised an eyebrow to him. "You look like you had quite a day." He noticed the kiss mark on his head.
"This was the best day of my life." Rusty said getting off his bike, almost as if he really was intoxicated.
"Anyways, did you find out who the thief is?" Lincoln asked.
"Not yet. There's too much going on in that Diner in order for me to properly identify who took it." Ronnie Anne explained.
"I'm telling you guys the truth is out there!" Zach said, looking and raising his eyes and hands to the heavens.
"You seriously watch too much X-Files." Clyde sighed. Rusty shook his head and finally regained his senses.
"Oh you guys managed to find the bike!" Rusty said with great enthusiasm.
"Glad to see you rejoined us." Ronnie Anne scoffed.
"All I heard so far is that I should hurry to this location….after that I kind of spaced out." Rusty explained.
"Whatever." Ronnie Anne dismissed. "We gotta see who the thief is. We'll see who it is soon."
"How do you know?" Lincoln asked.
"Just a feeling." Ronnie Anne answered.
"Let's get out of sight and wait for our chance!" Clyde suggested. "We can only take it back once the thief returns and unlocks the chains."
"Good thinking!" Lincoln praised.
The team all went to sit at a nearby bench, parking their bikes to nearby street signs and street lamps. They each eyed the bike rack intently.
After a half hour Lincoln saw movement towards the bike.
"THERE!" He called. "GUYS! THERE'S THE THIEF." His friends looked and saw a young man around the same ages as Lincoln and his friends. He had brown hair that curled around the back of his neck. His freckled face had a meanness to it that just screams that he's up to no good. He wore a green short sleeve shirt which had a picture of what appeared to be a mirror in the center. He wore it over a white long sleeve shirt.
Unfortunately Lincoln immediately recognized who it was. He and Clyde immediately began to feel uneasy in their stomachs.
"Oh god! Why him!?" He complained. Unfortunately the others saw who the thief was and also recognized him.
"Not Chandler McCann!" Clyde whined.
"Of course it had to be him!" Rusty groaned. The most obnoxious person we've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
"Leave it to me! I'll wrassle him like I do with my pigs at the farm!" Liam suggested, rolling up his sleeves.
"No! Let's try to reason with him." Ronnie Anne suggested. The boys all looked at each other and nodded. Ronnie Anne leading the way, they quickly approached the young man as he was beginning to unlock Will's bike from the rack.
"Hold it right there Chandler!" Lincoln ordered. He turned and gave Lincoln a mean smile.
"Hi Stinkoln!" Chandler mocked, Lincoln rolled his eyes at that insult, as if he hasn't heard that before. Ronnie Anne used it herself a few times, along with his sisters on rare occasions.
"Where did you get that bike?" Ronnie Anne questioned.
Chandler chuckled to himself. "Yeah I know why you're here. Yeah, I took your precious bike. I saw how you were riding around town with your stupid little biker gang, once you let your gaurd down, I decided to take your bike. I mean I was without a bike. I needed one to get around town. You have my thanks actually Lincoln HAHA!"
Lincoln and all his friends gave him a mean look. This mocking, sincerity that he's showing Lincoln was just plain infuriating.
"I mean come on!" Chandler laughed. "I saw you riding another bike around town trying to get here. I mean you obviously had a spare. So it's not like any real harm was done."
"How did you unlock it?" Lincoln questioned.
"Oh please!" Chandler scoffed, waving his hand dismissively at him. "The lock was a password lock. It was easy to figure out! All you have to do is listen closely to the tumblers inside the mechanism when you got the right answer."
"Give that bike back now!" Ronnie Anne ordered.
"Or what?" Chandler questioned, not feeling at all intimidated.
Ronnie Anne glared at him and cracked her knuckles. Lincoln placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled at her to restrain her. Ronnie Anne had no clue what he was talking about but trusted him enough to lower her fist.
"I'll tell you why." Lincoln said, smirking at Chandler. "That bike isn't yours and it isn't mine either."
"Oh? Just who does it belong to then? One of your dumb sisters?" Chandler mocked.
"Oh just a certain tall guy who gave you black eye some time ago." Lincoln casually said.
That struck Chandler and his mocking face dropped to one of fear. Clyde knew all too well what Lincoln was talking about. The others were clueless.
"That...oaf?" Chandler said, shaking.
"Yeah. That oaf who gave you and your buddies a real pounding a long time ago." Clyde entered the conversation. Following what Lincoln was doing once he figured it out.
Lincoln made a sarcastic pleading face to the heavens. "Oh how mad he's gonna be when he finds out you're the one who took it."
"I mean he still has that short fuse after all." Clyde sarcastically shook, also looking afraid.
Chandler panicked internally. He quickly surrendered the bike to Lincoln.
"Here! Just take it! Just don't let that big jerk touch me again!" Chandler panicked and he quickly ran away leaving the bike behind.
Besides Clyde, Lincoln's friends were surprised at how easy that was.
"He knows who Will is?" Liam asked.
"Oh yeah, it was a day I'll never forget." Lincoln smiled.
"Me to!" Clyde added. "I was there to."
"It's interesting to know there's something he's afraid of." Zach said.
"Hey guys!" Ronnie Anne said taking the bike handles in her hands. "Have you forgotten? We got the bike back!"
"Yes! Let's go return it to Will!" Lincoln cheered. He slapped all his friends with a congratulatory high five.
Hours later near twilight. Lincoln's team returned to Will's home and knocked on the door. They were greeted with the gargantuan form of Nicholas. Except for Clyde and Lincoln, Lincoln's friends were shocked at the large man that stood before them.
Ronnie Anne thought to herself. "Oh my god! Bobby was telling the truth! This man is a mammoth!"
Lincoln chuckled when he saw the gaping mouths of his friends.
"It's ok guys, all people have the same look when they see Mr. Clements for the first time." Lincoln assured.
Nicholas also chuckled. "What can I do for you Lincoln? And your little friends?"
"Is Will here?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"He is but he's grounded." Nicholas replied. "So I'm afraid no visitors."
"Actually, that's why we're here." Lincoln said. Zach braught Will's bike and presented it to Nicholas.
"Hehehehe." Nicholas laughed, smiling at the kids. "You never cease to amaze me little Lincoln. I gotta tell your parents, they'll be so proud of you!" He turned his attention inside the house and called for his son. "HEY WILL!"
Will came down to the living room and greeted his father.
"Yeah dad?"
"Look at what your friends have done!" Nicholas kept smiling as he moved aside so Will could get a good look.
Will smiled huge. His soul began to fill with pride and happiness as he eyed Lincoln and his friends fulfilling their promise. He just smiled at his best friend and seemingly out of nowhere. He moved in and gave Lincoln a huge hug.
Clyde and Lincoln were surprised at this sudden embrace. This is something they have never seen from Will before.
Lincoln's friends felt warm witnessing this as did Nicholas. Will finally released him after a few seconds.
"I'm sorry it's just this means so much to me." Will said, taking his bike back. "It's still in great shape as I lent it to you."
"Don't mention it." Lincoln said. His face hung a little but didn't lose it's smile. "After all it's my fault this happened."
"I see you got a new bike now!" Will pointed out.
"Yep me and Lynn traded."
"Where did you find it?" Will asked.
Lincoln smiled at Ronnie Anne. Will noticed this and smiled at her.
"Thank you very much for your help!" Will thanked her.
Ronnie Anne nodded and raised her palm to Will. "No problem! I just went back to the scene of the crime and eventually it reappeared." They decided to leave out the details of who the thief was.
"Smart thinking!" Will praised, he looked at the whole group. "Zach, Liam, Clyde, Rusty. I owe you guys a great deal of thanks to."
"You can thank us with money later." Rusty smiled. The others in the group glared at him. "He...Hey I was just kidding."
"Hey Lincoln." Liam called. "We helped you, you know what this means?"
"You owe us Pizza!" Zach smiled.
"Uh yes I do!" Lincoln said nervously as he scratched his head.
"Will got an idea. Well what are we waiting for! Let's all ride! Together!" Will remembered something and looked back to his dad who was still smiling.
He had to ask his father. "Can I? I mean my bike is back!"
Nicholas chuckled. "Of course! I'm a man of my word. The bike is returned, your punishment is over."
Will jumped for joy. "Yeah! Come on everyone!" The whole group followed Will into the street and lined up side by side. They each mounted their bikes as Ronnie Anne stepped on her skateboard. All at once the seven friends kicked off and all rode off together into the sunset.
A/N Hope you guys enjoyed this one. Now one explanation why it took so long to do this chapter was because I needed to finish cleaning up my Sonic and Sailor Moon stories. I finally finished doing so. It may not be perfect but it's much better than it was when it was first published. Now this is very important. My Sonic 3 and Sailor Moon story needs to be completed. So this is the last chapter of this story for awhile I won't return until I finish Sonic 3 and Sailor Moon.
If a rewrite of the first Season of Sailor Moon and crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog, along with a crossover adaptation of the game Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive sounds interesting for you, please give it a read. I should also warn I wrote it a long time ago when I was quite weak in writing and it may still show in the stories, just a heads up.
Now to end this, I must ask. Did you all hear about the upcoming Loud House Netflix movie? How do you feel about the idea that it's gonna focus on the Loud's ancestry with Scottish Royalty? Let me know in a PM or a review! So either see you in my other fanfic, or see you all next time!
