A/N Hello everyone sorry for the wait on this one. I hope you all had nice holidays. I have a good feeling about 2024 and I hope the rest of you do to. This chapter was actually rather difficult, to be honest writing jokes isn't something I'm great at. Anyways enjoy.

Funny Business/Snow Bored.

It was a calm Sunday morning. Will was sitting on the front porch of his home sipping on lemonade. He was feeling relaxed with his eyes closed and a soft smile on his face.

Ahh, such a peaceful day. Chores are done, no dancing lessons. I haven't seen a sign of the Louds today. A great time to unwind an-

*HONK! HONK!*

Will jumped in surprise as he turned to see Luan struggling to ride a unicycle. She wore a big red clown nose, a red frizzy clown wig and a bowler hat. In her arms were all sorts of comedy props. The honking came from a loud bike horn. Will rolled his eyes at the interruption.

I always get too comfortable too soon.

"Uh, little help please!" Luan stuttered as she was about to fall down. Will got up and rushed over to her, but Luan already fell off the unicycle and landed on her back. Will winced seeing Luan get hurt, however Lincoln was right behind her and got her back up and the two boys started picking up the mess of props on the ground.

"Hey Will.: Luan said, rubbing the back of her head to ease the pain of the fall.

"Another birthday party?" Will asked.

Luan runs her own entertainment business. It specializes in clown shows for children's birthday parties. I feel really relieved that I long grew out of the age where I had birthday parties like that.

"My third gig this week." Luan groaned. "I could really use an assistant."

"I thought Lucy was helping you?" Lincoln asked. Will giggled at that question.

Come on, like I need to explain why that's funny?

"She didn't work out." Luan answered. "Neither did Leni, Lynn, or Lisa." However Luan looked at Will and smiled. "Hey Will-"

"HARD PASS!" Will said loudly, putting his foot down. It was pretty obvious what Luan was gonna ask him to do.

I know I'd do anything for my friends, but I gotta draw the line somewhere. The thing with Luan, is I have drawn many, many lines.

Will handed Luan the props he picked up, he turned around and returned home. Luan put on a pouting face. Lincoln also giggled a little for Will's foresight and rejection.

The next weekend, Saturday, Will was mowing the lawn. He just finished up as he exhaled after the hard work and whipping the sweat off his brow. Across the street were loud cheers of ecstatic children. Will looked at the house across the way and smiled at all the littles ones having fun at what appeared to be a birthday party.

It always does my heart good to see the kids having a good time!

Suddenly all the kids fell silent as they scrambled to a makeshift stage. It was very basic with floorboards supported by cinder blocks. Two small metal columns on both sides in the back, a large metal rod was sitting on top of the columns. The rod was being used to hold up a large brown curtain. In the center was a microphone.

This is it, Luan's show. Luckily it's right across the street, let's watch!

Luan dashed onto the stage and was in a white clown shirt with oversized red buttons and an extremely fluffy pink collar. She wore a rainbow afro wig. Luan comically pretended to slide off stage as if she ran too fast and slid on something. The children all broke out in laughter, Will just cracked a smile.

Hey I may find Luan annoying, I never said her performances were bad! Although let's face it, I don't find this stuff funny. It's just nice, I mean come on, I'm not six years old.

Luan quickly dashed back and took the microphone in hand. She started telling jokes.

"Yesterday I was casted in an opera for the role of the sad clown." Luan started the joke as she began to make crying faces, which got concerned looks from the children. "Somebody yelled to me, hey you shouldn't be such a 'wet blanket!.'" Luan quickly took out a big squirt bottle and sprayed herself in the face with water. "Hahaha. Get it?" The children burst out laughing. Will still smiled but rolled his eyes.

See what I mean?

"Why do Clowns never feel bored?" Luan started the next joke. "Because we're always occu-pied!" Will noticed Lincoln rushing to Luan with a cream pie in hand. Unfortunately Lincoln slipped on the can of spray cream he used to make the pie and slid across the stage and slammed into the stack of presents. Luckily none of the gifts were hurt, the pie Lincoln had flew up into the air and splattered him in the face.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" Lincoln cried, feeling overwhelmed at the fact he ruined Luan's act. She gave Lincoln a death glare, however, all the children in the crowd all started laughing hysterically. Will even started chuckling. This made Luan smile.

Time passed and the party was over. Lincoln and Luan were crossing the road back to their house as Will approached them applauding them.

"Way to go you two!" Will praised them. "Lincoln that fall was hilarious."

"I can't believe how good that turned out." Lincoln said happily. "When I tripped and the audience laughed and clapped. It was amazing!"

Luan looked a little irritated. She handed Lincoln a top hat.

"Yeah yeah, that's nice." Luan said, in a dismissive tone. "Now go clean this, the rabbit pooped in it." Lincoln grimaced as did Will as Lincoln charged into the house to clean it.

"Found your new assistant, eh?" Will said. Luan rolled her eyes.

"He's lucky the crowd responded to him. Otherwise he'd be fired." Luan said coldly. Will felt a negative tinge in her voice. "Honestly I think you'd be better, Will, you're capable of being focused and calm in crowds." Will was stunned to hear that.

"What makes you say that?" He questioned. "You've never seen me give speeches or anything like that."

Truth is I'm terrified of stuff like that.

"It's not about 'talking' to be my assistant." Luan explained. "You would just have to give me my props or hit me with a pie when I need it. Lincoln messed up because he got excited and lost focus. I know you wouldn't do that."

"Again how do you know?" Will pressed further. Luan just rolled her eyes.

"I guess it's just a feeling I got." She answered. She quickly changed the subject as she pulled out a white box.

"What's that?" Will asked. Luan smirked as she opened it. Inside was a fancy slice of chocolate cake, not only did the cake itself look moist and smooth. The chocolate icing was smoothed perfectly and had little chocolate shavings on it. Will stared at it in awe.

I'm not really hungry for the cake, I'm just stunned at how high class this looks. I never got anything this rich for my birthday parties!

Luan explained in a taunting voice. "Along with my money, I also get paid in leftover cake and ice-cream from the parties. I usually share it with my assistant, but since you said no before I could even ask, I suppose you don't get any. More for me and Lincoln!" Will rolled his eyes again.

"Not worth it." Will said, waving his hand dismissively. "Especially if I have to clean up animal waste and wash your clown outfits." Luan just grumbled as her attempt to get Will to change his mind failed.

Weeks pass and it's still business as usual. Unfortunately whenever Will notices Luan and Lincoln coming back from a party. Lincoln looks more and more thrilled to be a part of the act, while Luan looks more and more annoyed. On a Saturday Lincoln and Will were sitting in Will's bedroom playing video games. Lincoln was describing how the acts were going as the two focused their eyes on the screen.

"It's amazing!" Lincoln said all giddy. "The crowds love me. All I gotta do is slip and fall on my butt and the crowd howls with applause and laughter."

"Terrific." Will responded, not entirely interested.

Lincoln explained further. "Luan keeps doing her routines. However it's me that the crowd really wants to see! They clap for Luan, but it's me they laugh at!" Will was starting to catch on as to how this could go wrong.

"Lincoln sounds like you're upstaging Luan." Will sighed. "You sure that's a good idea?"

Lincoln scoffed. "Not at all, the crowd really likes it. Although we can really hone our craft if Luan did less clowning and did more pratfalls."

"Lincoln, your audience is Lisa's age." Will laid out a hard truth. "They're not that difficult to entertain."

"So?" Lincoln questioned.

"So, what if you get an audience that's not so easily amused?" Will pushed.

"Don't worry it'll all work out." Lincoln dismissed.

Hours later Will was taking out the trash. Coincidentally Luan was too. However she had an angry look on her face and viciously smashed the garbage into the can. Will sighed as he watched her do that.

Ok, time to be a good friend and neighbor.

Will walked over to Luan and put on a concerned face.

"What's wrong Luan?" Will asked, sounding sympathetic.

"Lincoln had the nerve to tell me that I need to stop clowning in my act, in my business!" Luan shouted. "He doesn't understand that there's more to it than just falling on your butt!"

Will sighed exasperatedly.

I warned him about this.

Luan continued. "Now he's trying to steal my business from me! He booked a party next Sunday and he won't tell me who, or where it's at! He said he can handle this himself."

"Oh I wouldn't worry." Will smiled. "Even if he succeeds at this party, there's only so far he can go without your knowledge of humor." That praise caused Luan to smile a little.

"Thanks Will." Luan calmed down. "Although he's still using my business, if he sinks it, I'm ruined." Will sighed, but his face piped up as he got an idea, he reached into his pocket and took out ten dollars. He handed it to Luan who was confused.

"What's this for?" Luan asked.

"I would feel terrible if your business was wrecked by Lincoln, so I'd like to book you for a comedy show. That's your payment in advance." Luan pocketed the money and started laughing.

"You got a deal!" She said as she dashed back into the house.

"Why do I have a feeling I'm gonna regret that?" Will sighed to himself as he returned home.

Next week. Will was sitting on the couch in his living room with Nicholas and Ms. Johnson. In the space between them and the TV. Was a small wooden stool and a small stand with a microphone in it. Sitting next to the microphone was a speaker that was plugged into the microphone.

"So, let me get this straight." Nicholas asked Will. "You paid for Luan to do a stand up show for us?" Will simply nodded.

"I've never seen one of these." Ms. Johnson said. "I've heard about Lincoln's comedic older sister before though." Will shook a little, feeling nervous.

When I booked Luan for her to perform here for me. I didn't really think Dad and Agnes would be here, however it's the schedule that the two of us agreed to, so I suppose I gotta subject them to it. I'm just nervous how this will go, and will Dad and Agnes hate me for it?

Luan walked out from the kitchen and her three audience members started to clap for her. Luan carried a leather trunk with her and sat it on the floor next to the stool. Will stared at it nervously.

Oh God, I hope that's not what I think it is.

Luan rushed back into the kitchen and returned with a black leather bag that Will recognized as her prop bag. She sat it on the floor on the other side of the stool which she then sat on.

"Good afternoon lady and gentlemen!" Luan said in a cheery voice into the microphone. She started with a joke. "At the last birthday party I entertained, a kid was being pessimistic and deliberately having a bad time, I said "gee pal, don't be a wet blanket!" Luan quickly pulled out a squirting bottle and sprayed her face in the liquid. "Haha, get it?"

The three members of the audience just smiled and clapped their hands. Luan didn't seem to detect it, however it did seem that Nicholas, Ms. Johnson and Will didn't find that funny.

No that wasn't really funny, but hey we're trying to be nice here. Besides it seems like she's doing her usual routine that I heard a few times already.

Nicholas was a little dismayed though when the excess water from Luan's joke splattered onto the hardwood floor of the living room. Will gulped as he noticed his father's reaction to this mess Luan was making.

Man I hope dad doesn't take this out on me. After all, I'm the one who hired Luan for this.

Luan then told the joke from the birthday party Will witnessed Lincoln mess up at.

"Hey, why are clowns never bored? Because we're good at keeping ocu-pied!" Luan then took out a cream pie and smashed it into her own face. Will kept smiling, not thinking that was funny. Although to his surprise. Ms. Johnson and Nicholas started to lightly snicker. Those feelings washed away once Nicholas noticed the excess cream splattered on the nearby wall. That made him smile and snicker. Instantly disappear, replaced with an annoyed frown. However Luan also didn't seem to pick up on this.

I'm just glad her pie didn't hit the TV. Dad would lose his mind if she did.

Will stood up and spoke. "If you excuse me, I need a glass of water." Will walked to the kitchen and got a cup and filled it with cool water, he drank it slowly as he somewhat dreaded how much longer this is going to take.

After he finished his drink he went back to the living room. Will failed to notice the smirk on Luan's face which oddly enough, Nicholas and Ms. Johnson also shared. Once Will sat back on the sofa…

*PRRRRRRRTT!*

Will jumped in surprise and embarrassment as a fart sound came from his seat. Everyone burst out laughing except Will as he put on a furious face as he aggressively reached under the cushion of the sofa and pulled out a whoopie cushion. He turned to face Luan as she told another joke.

"Gee Will, who knew you liked to 'toot' your own horn?" She joked. "Hahaha get it?" Will gritted his teeth as his anger started to build. Luan noticed this and started to sweat. Before Will could say or do anything. Nicholas grabbed his arm tightly, Will turned to his father who gave him a cold stare.

"Sit down now!" Nicholas ordered. Will's face relaxed a little as he did as he was told. He threw himself back into the sofa and crossed his arms. Ms. Johnson and Luan felt a slight chill down their backs as they never saw Nicholas lay down the law so hard before.

I've told Luan several times I hate pranks. She knows this, but I don't know why it seems she can't get the message. I should confess, dad is one of the only few that can hold me back from exploding. Although it's because if I did, he'd ground me.

Luan cleared her throat and went to her trunk and unlocked it. She pulled out her ventriloquist dummy Mr. Coconuts. Will's anger almost instantly cooled as he shuddered at the sight of it.

I hate dummies. They're so scary.

Luan sat on the stool and sat Mr. Coconuts on her lap and started to tell another joke.

"Hey Mr. Coconuts, why don't you tell them your story and how we met." Luan joked and did a goofy, masculine voice as she manipulated the dummy's mouth.

"Gee, where do I begin? I suppose it started when I was a small oak in the woods. I suppose that's why this town is called 'Royal Woods' huh? Of course the woods gotta be royal if I was born there!"

Will actually snickered at that. This made everyone smile as they noticed Luan finally got a positive reaction out of Will.

I gotta admit. That's only a little funny because honestly why is this town called, 'Royal Woods?' I don't think anyone really knows.

An hour later Luan finished her show as the three audience members applauded her. She packed up her things and left after taking her bow before the 'crowd.'

"She's ok." Ms. Johnson said. "She just needs to work on her material, especially when it comes to entertaining an older audience." Nicholas agreed. Will got up and was about to go to his room.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" Nicholas called. Will halted immediately. Will slowly turned around and Nicholas stood in front of Will with a rag and mop. "You hired her for this show, and while we did somewhat enjoy it. She made a mess and you're going to clean it up." Will sighed and went to clean up the mess Luan made.

The next day Will was playing video games in the living room of his house when a knock was heard. He paused the game and opened the door and found Luan with a plate of chocolate mousse cake.

"Hey Will, I'm sorry about the prank." Luan apologized. "I got a leftover slice of cake from my last birthday job, I'd like you to have it." Will took it, he actually felt a little happy to have it.

This is a special cake, not just a regular birthday cake you can buy pre-made at the store. Hey I stand by what I said about Luan being annoying, that doesn't mean we're not friends.

Will invited her in as they sat at the kitchen table as Will ate the slice of cake happily.

"Don't you give this to your assistant?" Will asked as he shoved a forkful of cake into his mouth..

"Lincoln declined to take any cake for a while." Luan answered. "He tried to take a job by himself. The audience were not little kids but emo tweens. Lincoln's routine of just falling on his butt wasn't working. I would've let him crash and burn out there, but I needed to save the day because he booked the job with the Funny Business name."

"So how did you save the party?" Will asked.

"Simple." Luan said triumphantly. "Don't clown, I did a mime routine. They seem to respond well to the trapped in a box act."

Will wondered. "Aren't mimes a type of clown though?" Both Will and Luan just shrugged.

A week later Will and Nicholas were sprinkling rock salt on the sidewalk and driveway. They were dressed in winter clothes as Will wore a black beanie hat with a matching overcoat and gloves. Around his neck is a scarf that was the same color as his favorite jacket. He also wore orange galoshes.

Nicholas also wore the same color galoshes. However they were naturally a bigger size for a huge man. He also wore a black overcoat, but with brown gloves and no headwear.

We just got a weather report for tomorrow. The sky is pale gray which means it must be accurate. The report says a blizzard is rolling in. Me and dad are sprinkling ice melt on the pavement so hopefully we won't have to shovel snow in the morning multiple times to prevent large pileups.

As they were finishing up Nicholas and Will walked back into the house. The first snowflakes began to slowly fall. Will and Nicholas made hot chocolate for each other to enjoy and warm themselves up.

Three hours later. Will sat next to the window and peered out with a smile on his face as Nicholas was watching the news on TV to get more updates on the storm. The sky was darkening as the day was coming to an end.

I gotta admit, for me. Watching snow or rain fall can be very relaxing.

Suddenly Will's phone started to ring. He answered it and it was Lincoln. There seemed to be a huge amount of cheering going on in the background.

"Hey Lincoln, what are you guys partying for?" Will asked.

"Didn't you hear the news?" Lincoln said happily. "Schools are closed tomorrow. All the snow related activities are ours to enjoy! I'll see you in our yard tomorrow."

"You got it!" Will said happily as he looked over Nicholas's shoulder and saw the weatherman confirm what Lincoln just said. Will jumped for joy. Nicholas noticed this and smiled at him. It does his heart good to see his son so genuinely happy.

Oh yeah! Snow days are the best! No School, minimum house chores!

The next day Will went out in his winter gear again and walked over to the Louds. Will knocked on the door and Lincoln answered it. To Will's dismay Lincoln's face was frowning.

"What's wrong?" Will asked. Will noticed Lincoln didn't look ready to go outside and play in the snow, he was still dressed as he usually was.

"It's Lisa." Lincoln said. "She wants to send us to school." Will's eyes bulged out. He pushed his way past Lincoln and entered the house and found all the siblings looking worried as Lisa stood in front of the TV making a horrible announcement.

Lisa announced. "There will be no snow day from school. I have arranged to spread salt all over the city's roadways to keep them clear. This is a super salt of my own creation, once it's spread around, we shall have no problem accessing school, so I suggest you all get ready to go to school right away."

The siblings all booed and tossed all the couch pillows and cushions at Lisa knocking her down.

It's six in the morning. If Lisa wants to start a plan like this she needs to begin in the next hour and forty five minutes. Although, what gives her the right to play God like this?

Lisa pulled herself out of the pile of pillows she was pelted with and cleared her throat to explain herself.

"Let me explain. For every day of school you miss, your brain functionality decreases by point zero zero six percent."

Leni interjected. "But Lisa snow days are fun! F O N! Fun!" Lisa just rolled her eyes as did everyone else who understood her sad misspelling.

"I rest my case." Lisa concluded. "Besides I fail to see how frolicking in the snow like a bunch of nincompoops is fun." Lisa pulled out a highly advanced communication device that looked like a combination cell phone and CB radio.

That's gotta be a new thing she invented. That's no phone or walkie talkie I've ever seen.

Will understood she was getting ready to give the order to clear the roads as she pushed a button on it, but Will dashed towards her and snatched it out of her hands. Lisa looked at Will stunned.

"I've never seen a show of force from you like this towards me or any of my siblings William." Lisa said. The other Louds gave Will a look of gratitude.

"Normally I welcome your genius for making things better for the world." Will said.

"Then kindly return my communicator so you all can continue to expand your minds." Lisa demanded softly. Will shook his head no.

"Lisa, you don't get to dictate what's best for us all." Will argued. "You are not the parent of everyone in the world and it's wrong for you to act as such." Lisa squinted her eyes at Will showing some small form of anger at him. Lisa seemed to growl at Will not complying to her demand. Lincoln stepped forward. With a smile on his face.

"Lisa, what if we showed you how fun snow days can be?" Lincoln offered. "Would you not salt the roads then?" The other Louds all started giving Lisa begging looks. Lisa made one small demand knowing that she can't beat this situation.

"Alright. If William returns my communicator then I'll agree." Lisa stared at Will, he looked at the other siblings and nodded 'yes' to him. Will handed Lisa back the communicator.

Everyone was outside and began to play, everyone had their winter gear on. The challenge to win Lisa over on the joy of days off from school began. Lincoln got an old wooden sled and Will placed Lisa on it. Lincoln started to run with the sled in tow.

"Come on Lisa!" Lincoln cheered. "Isn't sledding fun?" Lisa sat with her arms and legs crossed, looking like she's not enjoying herself.

"I must point out that sitting on these planks of wood is making my buttocks cold." Lincoln accidentally had the sled hit a stone buried in the snow causing Lisa to bounce off and land hard on the ground on her bottom. "Now my buttocks is bruised." Lincoln paused as Lana and Lucy were putting the finishing touches on an igloo. He felt nervous at how Lisa, not only wasn't convinced, if anything they may have convinced her to melt the snow.

Lincoln held Lisa's hand as he led her to the Igloo.

"Here's a snow day classic!" Lincoln said with great enthusiasm. "Snow Forts! Come on in and check it out!" Lincoln crawled inside the igloo entrance. Lisa stayed outside and knocked on the snow blocked with her fist.

"This structure lacks load bearing walls and support beams." She observed. "Overall this is an unsafe structure." Lisa's knocking on the walls caused the igloo to collapse on Lincoln.

"It's very much collapsable." Lincoln groaned, picking his head out of the snow.

"Let me handle this!" Lana said, taking Lisa's hand. "There's something that's always fun to do on snow days!" Lana took Lisa's hand and led her to a snowman she built. "Say hello to Mr. Twigarms!" The snowman looked like a typical snowman with a carrot nose, button eyes, branch arms and a top hat. Lana also added a yellow and black striped tie to its neck and a comb around where the mouth is to give it a mustache.

Lisa also observed the snowman closely.

"What does Mr. Twigarms do?" She asked. Lana struggled to find an answer.

"Well, nothing I guess." She shrugged, but she immediately changed to a happy tone. "But he's very jolly!" Lisa waved her hand dismissively.

She said in a smug tone. "If you valued your education, you could build something more pizazz."

Time passed and most of the siblings failed to impress Lisa. Lola tried ice skating, but Lisa pointed out how thin ice makes it dangerous. Lucy tried snow angels, however Lucy's idea of snow angels is just laying in the snow until you get hypothermia. Luan tried using the snow for pranks, by sneaking up behind Lincoln with snow and shoving it down his pants, but Lisa didn't find getting frostbite on the rear to be funny.

Lynn and Will made a bobsled track and Lynn got her bobsled. She put Lisa in it as the other Louds went to watch Lynn push her down the small snow ramp she and Will made. However Lynn quickly lost control and Lisa ended up flying at incredible speed until she crashed into a snowbank. Fortunately she wasn't hurt.

"I am not convinced people." Lisa announced. "Snow days are pointless and a health hazard. I'm gonna have to use my salt and get you back into school." The siblings started to beg Lisa not to, but she wouldn't budge. Will got an annoyed look on his face when he got an idea.

There is one more thing, I normally wouldn't do this, but if she's gonna ruin this day off. We have nothing to lose.

A snowball was hurled at Lisa and smacked her in the back of her head. Lisa turned around not amused at what happened.

"Who projected that snowball?" She grumbled.

"Me!" Will said, stepping forward.

"You poked a bear neighbor." Lisa said coldly.

"Oh yeah?" Will said putting on a competitive face. "What are you gonna do about it?" Lisa quickly rolled a snowball and hurled it back at Will, it hit him in the shoulder. Lisa actually smiled after that.

"Wow, that was surprisingly satisfying to do." Lisa said, coming to a realization. Lisa quickly rolled up more snowballs as she started throwing them at her siblings. "Wow, I can't believe this, but this is actually…."

"Fun?" Lincoln said finishing her sentence.

"Yes!" Lisa cheered. "F.O.N. Fun!" Everyone laughed as Lisa repeated Leni's bad spelling. Everyone immediately split up and rolled more snowballs and started a snowball fight.

Hours later Will separated from the Louds and returned home.

Looks like we finally found something Lisa can enjoy about snow days. However she still can't play parent like that.

Will was making hot soup for dinner as Nicholas was watching the news again. Getting a weather report.

"Tomorrow it will be bright and sunny with the temperature in the low fifties." The weatherman said. "I hope you kids enjoyed your day off from school because tomorrow, there will be tests and homework for all."

"Can you believe Lisa worked a deal to sprinkle salt to force everyone back to school?" Will said to Nicholas from the kitchen.

Nicholas added. "Not only would it have ruined your day off. It also would have ruined mine."

"That's right." Will said, getting a reminder. "For jobs that require working outside, if the weather is bad you are given the day off too."

"Well, I gotta make the money and you gotta go to school. Tomorrow is back to real life." Nicholas sighed.

The next morning. Will woke up at a regular time to get ready for school. After he showered he went downstairs to make breakfast. However he was met with a rather interesting surprise when Nicholas was standing at the window with an astonished look on his face.

"What is it dad?" Will asked. Nicholas didn't answer, Will walked to the window and was also just amazed as to what was out there. "It's snowing again!?"

Nicholas scrambled to the TV and turned the news on and they both watched the weather report. The weatherman also was just as surprised.

"I can't explain it. However a huge snow and cold front just rolled in as if out of nowhere. Our doppler radar didn't even detect it. So kids, it turns out, it's your lucky day, another day off from school!"

"How do you like that?" Nicholas said. "Two days in a row."

"Yeah, I guess." Will said.

Two hours later. Will was shoveling snow off the driveway.

Dad went to the store. I'm shoveling because our ice melt was used up yesterday. We would have sprinkled more but we were not expecting a second snowstorm.

Will looked over at the Louds and saw everyone enjoying their usual snow day activities. Lana made another snowman, Lincoln was enjoying his sled and Lynn was enjoying her bobsled.

Unfortunately Lisa's laughter filled the air, and this laughter sounded crazy. Will even gulped as he heard it. Everyone froze in fear, Lisa couldn't be seen anywhere, but her laughter was in the air.

Let me explain, Lisa is a scientific genius. She may abuse that knowledge, like yesterday. Also she has on more than one occasion, turned into a mad scientist. It seems like that time is now.

Lisa bolted out of the Loud's front door. She seemed to be carrying realistic looking firearms. In a toboggan sled she had a miniature SAMS missile launcher, A bazooka, and a gatling gun, in addition, oddly enough a simple baseball launcher. Will was shocked to see that heavy artillery.

Will screamed. "My god Lisa's got guns! Run for your life!"

I meant for the Louds to hear that. I hope they did.

Will instantly dropped the shovel and dashed back inside. He ran to the window and saw the Louds scramble as they either heard Will's yell, or also saw Lisa's heavy artillery. Lisa opened fire on her siblings laughing maniacally. To Will's relief, her weapons were just firing snowballs.

I wasn't expecting her to fire real ammunition. However she's pretty unpredictable so who knows. However, when you mess with a genius, she'll just find a more efficient way to do snowball fights.

Will thought for a moment then gulped as he started to feel guilty.

My goodness, I did this. I showed her how good snowball fights are now she's going off the deep end with it.

Lisa destroyed Lana's new snowman with her missile launcher. She pelted Lincoln with snowballs as he rode around on his sled. She soon did the same to Lynn with her gatling gun, knocking off her bobsled and into the snow. The Louds all screamed and ran back inside their house as Lisa loaded up her bazooka with snow in the ammunition tank and chased after her siblings inside.

Will quickly took out his phone and called Lincoln. It only rang twice before stopping. Obviously Lincoln rejected Will's call.

That's not good, let's try Lori.

Will called Lori but got a busy signal. Feeling extreme worry he dashed to the side window and looked into the side window at the Louds. Lola, Lana, Lynn and Lucy were running in separate directions as Lisa was firing snowballs at them with her bazooka, still laughing like a mad scientist. To Will's shock and horror Luna flung herself and clung to the window directly in Will's sight. While Will couldn't hear anything, he made out that Luna mouthed the words. S.O.S. That tugged on Will's sense of guilt and desire to help his friends.

I gotta do something! I created this. I gotta end it!

Will charged to the closet a couple of feet from his home's front door and took his coat and an extra coat that belonged to Nicholas as well as a pair of extra gloves that also belonged to his father. It took Will about ten minutes but he put on all the winter gear and even borrowed one of Nicholas's goggles and hard hats from his work uniform. Will comically looked like a fat creampuff about to go to a construction site due to all the layers he's wearing.

Lisa's probably gonna fire her ammo at me. I need all the protection I can use. No matter how stupid I look right now.

Will exited his house and moved towards the Louds once there he just let himself in. Once he did, his ears rang with loud screams and laughter from Lisa. Will marched over to her and Lisa noticed the huge bundled up teenager marching towards him not looking happy. Lisa immediately stopped laughing which in turn caused the other Louds to stop yelling, Lisa fired a snowball at him from her bazooka. It hit Will in the shoulder with great force that pushed him back a little but it didn't hurt.

My god, that could bruise someone! God knows what damage she did to her siblings, imagine if that hit my bare skin!

Will inched towards her again and Lisa fired another snowball and it smacked Will in the head. Luckily Nicholas's hard hat protected him. Once Will was close enough he snatched the bazooka away from Lisa.

"ENOUGH!" Will shouted at her. "No more Lisa!" Everyone in the house flinched at Will's show of anger, however Lisa was just smirking.

"You haven't disarmed me William." Lisa snickered. "I have one more weapon. A Snow Tank!" Lisa took out a remote and pushed a button, a realistic looking military tank but was about the size of a go kart rolled up the sidewalk. Will's eyes widened.

"No!" Lincoln cried when he and the others got on their knees in front of Lisa. "No more snow! Please contact NASA and stop the snow!"

"What!?" Will asked confused. Lincoln explained.

"Lisa used her contacts at NASA to somehow manipulate the weather to give us this extra snow day." Will's eyes widened in shock at this seemingly impossible revelation. Lisa simply looked proud of herself. He simply looked dumbfounded and couldn't say anything.

That does not sound legal or even ethical at all! How did she or anyone for that matter have the ability to change the weather like that?

Lisa cleared her throat and explained. Sorry but we'll have another snow day tomorrow too, the method used to do this is Cloud Seeding. It's not entirely irreversible.

Cloud Seeding? I don't even know what that is. I better Google that when I get home.

"Then use your special salt so we can go back to school." Lincoln pleaded.

"You sure?" Lisa said. "You guys convinced me that snow days are F.O.N. Fun!"

"We've had enough fun." Lincoln replied.

"My dad and I'm sure many others who work outside need to get back to their jobs." Will added. The other Loud siblings joined in and begged Lisa to let them return to school.

Lisa adjusted her glasses and sighed.

"Well, if that is the consensus, then I'll submit to the will of the majority." The Louds all cheered and went to their rooms to prepare to go to school tomorrow. Will looked at Lisa with suspicion.

Something's off. We had to work to convince her to let us have a snow day. Now that everyone wants to return to school, she didn't even argue. Now she wants to go along with what everyone wants?

"You better return home William." Lisa encouraged. "Big day at school tomorrow."

"Right." Will said with a suspicious tone. He simply turned around and left the Louds and returned home.

I gotta get to the bottom of this. What was she really doing?

That night when everyone was supposed to be asleep Lisa went to her Snow Tank and began to modify it. Unbeknownst to her, Will was watching her through the window. He took his phone and readied a certain app on it. Once Lisa climbed inside the tank and closed the top hatch to it, Will crept out of his house and snuck over to it. He pushed a function on his phone and held it up to the haul of the tank and listened as lights flashed on inside of it.

"Hello NASA?" Lisa said. "My mission was a complete success. I soured my siblings on the idea of snow days and got them excited for school instead. I'm sure they won't want another for as long as they live. I thank you all for aiding me in this endeavor, now I just gotta finish up modifying my Snow Tank to a salt spraying ice melter." She ended her transmission just as Will pushed the button on his phone and immediately opened the hatch to Lisa's Tank. Lisa gasped in horror as she realized she was just caught.

"Uhhh. Hello Willia- I mean Will." She stammered nervously. "Odd time to be out isn't it? Shouldn't you be sleeping for school?"

"Maybe." Will answered. "Not until you get your day in court." Lisa was confused. Will showed Lisa his phone and the app he was using was a recording program. Will showed Lisa that he just recorded her entire conversation.

Since she's busted, she now decided to call me by my preferred name? It doesn't matter, I'm sure with this evidence there will be some lawyer that can make her suffer some kind of legal consequence for tampering with nature like that.

Lisa sighed in defeat. "You got me. Yes I planned this all along so everyone would not want to slack off on their studies."

Will also sighed. He put his phone away as he decided to level with her.

He said calmly. "Lisa, I must repeat myself. You don't have the right to play God for everyone in the world like this. If you want people to be enthusiastic about learning. There are better ways to rework how schooling is done. I don't know what that is, but it's a much better option than playing with nature. Also did you know what your tinkering with nature could have done to the planet? What about people like my dad who work jobs outside?"

Lisa rolled her eyes. "Poor William. You don't understand what it means to be a scientist."

"What?" Will gasped annoyed. "You're right I don't know what it's like since I'm not one, but what's that supposed to mean?"

Lisa explained. "People look to scientists because they want us to be Gods. To make life easier, to cure diseases, to perform miracles and allow what's impossible to be possible. To make what we imagine a reality. Besides, what I did is inconsequential. The atmosphere will restabilize in about two days."

Will sighed. "I think you're placing too much importance on yourself." He once again showed Lisa the recording as she cleared her throat.

"Ok I'm going to negotiate with you." Lisa sighed. "I promise to never use science to engineer changes in my siblings, or anyone else's attitude on anything if you don't release that recording." Will paused for a moment and thought for a moment. He nodded as the two shook hands. "Thank you, now shouldn't you be returning home? You gotta go to school tomorrow." Will rolled his eyes and left as Lisa continued working.

As Will walked back inside his house and went to bed Will smiled.

Hey I may have worked out a deal with Lisa. I got her over a barrel with this situation! I finally beat her at something! At least I think so. Nah, I'll consider this a win on my part.
