New story! For anyone that also reads My Aura Hero, don´t worry, I am capable of writing both. Although updates will be random, sorry. Writing one chapter per week was more hard that I thought.
Also this story was inspired by The Dragon that Pierced the Heavenss by DragonPrincess18 in Ao3. Its a One Piece/Fairy Tail crossover. I really like it. The fairy tail characters aren´t the originals, more like their descendants/reincarnations. And it has romance. So check it out if you want.
Finally One Piece belongs to Oda-sama, may he give a great ending to these amazing manga, and Pokemon belongs to the Pokemon Company and Game Freak

It all started on one island. One island that bordered the edge of the weakest sea with the Red Line. On that island, a baby was born. That baby turned into a boy and later into a young man. And one day, this young man sailed. He sailed to the most dangerous sea in the world: the Grand Line. This man recruited a crew—a crew of humans, gyojin, and minks. A crew that became the most famous and hated pirates in history.
The man and his crew navigated the entire Grand Line—not even the New World—ten times more dangerously than the deadliest sea was able to stop them. And then one day, this man stopped being the most famous pirate captain and became more.
One day, Gold Roger became King of the Pirates. The First Pirate King. He became the most powerful, richest, and free man in the world.
But his reign didn't last. Three years later, Gold Roger was arrested by Vice Admiral Garp of the Marines. Shortly after, he was executed in the place where it all started. In his hometown, Loguetown.
It was a public execution, a way for the Marines and the World Government to establish dominance. To say that not even the Great Pirate King Gold Roger could escape from them.
It failed. Because Gold Roger spoke. And what he said changed the world.
"You want my treasures? It's all there! I hid it all in one place! The One Piece!
Roger's execution had been made public and transmitted via Den Den Mushi. Thousands of pirates saw it. And they all thought the same thing: find the One Piece and become the next Pirate King.
The same day the King of the Pirates died, the Great Pirate Era was born.
Twenty years later, history began to repeat itself. A young man left his hometown, also in the weakest sea, with the goal, like many others, of becoming the Next Pirate King. His journey was set to be one of adventure, danger, pain, and friendship.
But what he didn't know—what nobody knew—was that the weakest sea had a secret. Hidden in the middle of a circle of giant whirlpools was a group of continents and islands. They were hidden for their own protection. And one of their inhabitants decided that enough was enough and chose to embark on the journey of their live.
A journey that would have them meet with this young pirate and join the most famous pirate's crew ever.
And it starts now.
The weather was perfect. A nice breeze, good clouds, and a calm sea. A perfect day for sailing. If any ship had been there, their passengers would have had a smooth and calm trip. Of course, as long as they didn't look up.
High in the sky, a bizarre situation was happening. A giant bird was flying with the head of a teenage boy hanging from its beak. The boy had his arms crossed, an annoyed expression on his face.
"Ahh, what a drag. I don't see Zoro anywhere. Where's this stupid bird taking me?"
The boy was a rookie pirate named Luffy. In the past few weeks, he has left his hometown, defeated the Sea King that roamed its shores, helped a weak and cowardly boy stand up to his captors, defeated a pirate captain, defeated a marine lieutenant, and won his first crew member.
And now he was being kidnapped by a bird. That was a new one.
He and Zoro had been drifting with no direction. Neither were good at sailing; they were bored and just chatting aimlessly when Luffy saw the bird. The young captain had been hungry. Because of the altitude, the bird looked smaller, so Luffy stretched his arms to catch it. However, when the rebound brought him to the bird, he was shocked to see that it was bigger than him. The bird bit his head and dragged him away.
The problem wasn't that he lost sight of Zoro. It wasn't that he had no idea where he was. The real problem was that there was no solid mass of ground nearby. If he somehow falls into the water, then he will have serious problems.
"The moment I see earth, I'm so kicking this bird's ass," he pouted.
He was fantasizing about beating the bird and then eating it when an object appeared below him.
It was a boat. Bigger than the one he and Zoro had, with a sail. And someone was on it. His lips widened into a smile. This was his chance!
He stretched his right leg backwards, going as far as possible, and then he let go. The momentum caused his leg to stretch forward and kick the stupid bird's head, right between its eyes. The impact was so strong that its beak slackened and dropped Luffy.
The one crew captain didn't stop grinning. He stretched both of his arms as far as possible, trying to reach the boat. His hands felt the wood, and he pulled.
His body was pulled right into the boat at high speed. He was going to crash right into it!
"INCOMING!" He yelled to the occupant of the boat.
The person turned around. It was a girl. Her eyes went wide at seeing him. Before he could crash, she pointed at him and yelled,
"Slam Pikachu!" "Pika!"
A yellow mouse leapt towards him; its tail hit him right in the cheek.
It hurt. Somehow, it hurt. Not like Gramp's Fist of Love, of course, but he still felt it. It shocked him enough that his hold on the boat slipped. Unfortunately, the tail didn't just hurt him; the force of its punch kicked him backwards. To the ocean. Shit.
The moment the salt water touched his skin, he lost his strength. He couldn't move. He couldn't float. He just sank. He was fainting. He was going to die.
A hand appeared above him. It grabbed his hand and pulled him up. He could breathe! He still couldn't move, but he could breathe.
His savior dragged him to the boat. Once there, Luffy expelled all the water he had swallowed.
"Thank you for saving me!" He bowed on his knees to his savior. His forehead touched the boat.
"What the hell were you doing?" A feminine voice asked him. Luffy straightened out and saw his savior.
It was a girl, maybe his age. Her hair was black like his, tied in a ponytail, with brown eyes and some type of mark on her cheekbones. Like lighting bolts, but horizontal. She had a red hat with a strange symbol on it.
"Wait, how were you able to stretch that far?" She asked, confused.
"I'm a rubber man. I ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi," he said proudly.
"Gomu Gomu no Mi? Wait, that last part sounds familiar. Mmhhhhh. Do you remember Pikachu?" She turned to the yellow mouse at her side.
"Pikaa," the mouse rubbed its forehead with its paw. Luffy didn't know that mice could be this size, yellow, or talk. The sea definitely had amazing surprises.
"Ahh! Devil Fruits! If you eat one, you get some random power, but you can't swim anymore! That's the one, Pikachu.""Pika pii"
The girl turned towards Luffy. "One of my mentors warned me about them before I left home. He said not to eat any type of fruit that looked really strange and mysterious. And to buy a book that cataloged them just in case."
"Yeah, being a rubber man is great, but falling to sea can be a drag. Shishishishi!" The girl and her mouse stared at him.
"Wait, really, why were you falling from the sky? If you can't swim and all that, you would have drowned."
"Ah, I was dragged by a bird. I thought I would have to wait until it landed somewhere to jump. How lucky I was that your boat showed up!" Luffy's smile was contagious. The girl couldn't help but smile a little.
"You're lucky that Pikachu stopped you. At that speed, you would have destroyed the boat and definitely died."
Luffy was shocked. He didn't think about that.
"I am Ashley, and this is my partner, Pikachu. Who are you?" Ashley introduced herself.
"I am Luffy."
"Are you alone? We can call your friends to come and get you." "It's just me and Zoro. We don't have a Den Den Mushi. Shishishishi"
Both Ashley and Pikachu sweatdropped. Ashley grabbed a map from her backpack. It was green and filled with pockets. She put it between them.
"We are somewhere around here. The next island is this one, Orange Town. It's not really big, but it should have a store to buy supplies. If your friend follows the bird and keeps sailing straight, then he won't be able to miss it. Is he good at sailing?"
"Hmm. He said that he went to the sea to find someone and then got lost. So he started hunting pirates to earn money."
Ashley deadpanned at him. She and Pikachu exchanged looks until she sighed. She grabbed something from her belt—a small red and white ball. She touched something, and the ball grew. Then she launched it into the sky.
"Come out, Talonflame!"
A red light emerged from the ball. A silhouette formed in the light. When the light vanished, an animal was hovering above the boat.
It was a bird, not as big as the one that had carried Luffy, but big. Perhaps as big as an eagle. The feathers on most of the top of its body were red, with the underside being gray with red feathers intermingled. The tips of its wings were completely black. Its tail feathers were a mix of black and yellow stripes.
"Awesome! What is that?! How did it appear!?" Luffy's surprise was obvious. His eyes were wide like saucers, and his mouth opened so big that it actually reached the ground.
Ashley smirked.
"He is Talonflame, a member of my team. Talonflame, this is Luffy," she introduced her friend to the pirate.
"Talonflame, Luffy was split from his friend. I need your help to find him." Ashley started pointing at spots on her map. "Me and Luffy are going here to this island. Luffy's friend," she stared at him. "Eh? Ahh. Zoro!" "He should be around here. Try to find him and get him to the island. Be careful; just fly there and back. Got it?"
The red hawk nodded. Then he turned to Luffy.
"Eh? What do you want?" Ashley facepalmed. "He wants to know what your friend Zoro looks like."
"Ahh. He is grouchy, has green hair, some earrings, and he has three swords! Maybe I should draw him?"
"It wouldn't hurt. Here, use this." The trainer grabbed a notebook and a pen and gave them to the pirate. After a few seconds, Ashley, Pikachu, and Talonflame were trying to figure out what exactly had drawn Luffy.
"Is this a head?" "Pi? Pika?" "Flame?" It was definitely a new form of art that no thinking creature could ever comprehend.
"Anyway, here, Talonflame, take this." Ashley tied a slip of paper to his leg. "Be careful, buddy."
Talonflame nodded and flew off. Soon he was a red speck, and then he disappeared.
"What was that thing?" "A note explaining what's happening. I don't want your friend to think that I kidnapped you or something."
"Yeah, that's a good idea! Shishishishi!"
Pikachu and Ashley smiled. Luffy really was a happy guy.
GRUMBLE
A sound interrupted them. It came from Luffy's stomach. The young pirate grabbed his stomach.
"Here, you look like you need some fuel," she said, giving him a box of cookies. "It's not much, but..." "Thank you so much!"
Seeing Luffy devour the entire box reminded Ashley of a Snorlax. That same desperation for food. In just seconds, the entire box was empty, and Luffy began to give her puppy eyes.
She stared at him, deadpan. As if that would work. Pikachu begged better.
After a few hours of sailing, they touched port. There was another boat tied there. It was slightly bigger than Ashley's, and it had some sacks. Luffy wanted to see it, but Ashley prevented it. The last thing they needed was for the owner to go looking for them.
The city was a ghost town. There was not a soul in sight. Most buildings looked attacked. Broken windows and doors. Destroyed furniture, trash on the streets. Rats roamed across the streets.
"What happened here?" Ashley murmured. It didn't look like a natural disaster had struck. There was destruction, yes. But there were splatters of dried blood. In multiple places. A few homes and stores were not ransacked. Only the ones that seemed to have nothing valuable.
Luffy stared blankly. He just looked around.
"Pika?" Pikachu jumped from his perch on Ashley's shoulder to the ground. His ears twitched. He was hearing something.
"Pika, pika pi!" He pointed behind a house. The trainer and pirate exchanged looks and nodded.
Behind the house where the mouse Pokemon had pointed, a chase was occurring. A teenage girl with short orange hair was running for her life. Her pursuers? A group of pirates wielding swords and guns. Her hand gripped a paper that she had stolen from them. A paper that could change her life.
"Come back here, thief!" Gunshots followed their yelling. The thief, Nami, didn't look back. She just kept running, trying to think of a way to escape those filthy pirates.
Suddenly, two people appeared in front of her path. Two teens her age, both with black hair, boy and girl. The boy had a scratch on his face and used a straw hat, a red vest, shorts, and flip-flops. The girls had a blue hat with a strange symbol, wore a blue jacket and shorts with red linings, and wore black sneakers. In front of her was a strange yellow mouse. Its tail looked like a lightning bolt, and its cheeks had two red spots.
An idea came to her mind.
"Boss! Here is the map, just like you wanted! Take care of these guys while I guard it." She kept running and went to hide. Both kids looked at each other in confusion.
"You know her?" "Nop. Do you?"
"This shrimp is her boss? What a joke. This will only take us a minute," the pirates had approached the three teens. The mouse's cheeks began to spark, which made them stop.
"What the-?" One of them muttered. The girl just smiled.
"This brings me some fond memories, don't they, Pikachu?" "Pika," the mouse nodded.
"I honestly don't know what's going on here. So I will be kind and generous. Leave, now"
"Ha. Hahahahahaha! A little girl is going to stop us? We are part of the great Captain Buggy's crew! A pair of kids and their weird pet aren't going to stop us!" The pirate that spoke shoved her while one of his friends punched the boy in the face.
That was the last thing they did.
Pikachu growled deeply. Electricity began to dance among its body.
"Pii-kaa-CHUUUU!" A bolt of lighting emerged from the yellow mouse and enveloped the group of pirates. Nami saw how they screamed from the pain and how they spasmed and froze in different positions. The lighting was so strong that it caused an explosion. She saw how the group was sent flying to the other side of the town.
"Awesome! Why didn't you tell me that Pikachu could do that?! It's so coooool!" The boy beamed at the other girl. She just smirked and scratched Pikachu's chin.
"Sorry, Luffy, but before I left home, I promised to keep a low profile as much as I could," she rubbed her neck sheepishly.
"Wait, does that mean that Talonflame can do things like Pikachu?" The grin on Luffy's face spoke of his excitement.
"Yes. He has different abilities than Pikachu. They are from different species and types after all."
"Hey, you two. Name´s Nami, who are you?" Nami interrupted them.
"Ashley Ketchum. This one here is my best friend, Pikachu. We are from the Pokemon Regions, inside the Kyogre Whirlpools."
"Monkey D. Luffy, I am going to be the next Pirate King."
A pirate.
"I hate pirates." Nami glared at Luffy with hate in her eyes.
Yes Ashley is Ash, but a little more mature and most important, NOT TEN YEARS OLD! She is going to use Ash canon Pokemon from gen 1 to 6 included. And here is when I leave it to you: Do you want for Ashley Pokemon to evolve or be evolved or to keep with the "love of friendship"? I´m leaving it for voting. Just take in mind that I have really good ideas on how and when to make them evolve. Including what I hope is a epic scene for the Kaidou fight. But, no pressure.
The evolution poll is open until they meet Laboon. That´s when Ashley will start to rotate teams.
