Nami was replanting some of her life choices.
After Luffy and Ashley's yellow mouse, Pikachu, beat up Mohji and his pet lion, Ritchie, the three humans and one Pokemon went to confront Buggy the Pirate and his crew.
Nami was scared. She was a thief. She stole and then ran away. She knew how to fight; she just didn't fight unless she had to. It was how she survived.
Until now. Now she was willingly going to a fight.
After Luffy and Ashley made it clear they were going to confront Buggy, she decided she couldn't leave them alone. Let's be honest, those two would probably get lost if left alone. Especially Luffy. Ashley at least seemed to have some sense of direction.
Finding Buggy's ship wasn't difficult. The Big Top was easily one of the bigger and more extravagant pirate ships she had ever seen in her life. Three masts with five white sails, Buggy's personal Jolly Roger in the principal sail, and an elephant figurehead with a hidden cannon on its trunk. Multiple canons were visible on the deck and on the hull. The bright colors of the ship made it feel more like a circus than a pirate ship.
"Sooo, that's a big ship," Ashley whistled, surprised. She had traveled on the Saint Anne and other cruises back home, but this was different. This was made by hand, mostly wood, and capable of surviving the worst of the sea. The Saint Anne had been wrecked by a storm. And it was supposed to be the best ship of their time.
"Well, Nami, how do we enter?" Luffy turned to the thief. "Eh? How would I know?" "What do you mean, eh? You stole their map, so you must have entered their ship, right?"
"I never entered their ship." Her statement had both humans and Pokemon stare at her in confusion. "Ahh, I stole the map from some of his men while they were scavenging. The idiots left it right there, begging to be stolen! A few of them saw me and ran after me; the others, I guess, went back to their ship to inform Buggy about what happened."
Ashley and Pikachu sweatdropped at that. Nami had just been seriously lucky and unlucky at the same time.
"By the way, what has that map that they sent Mohji after you?" Nami smirked at the question, "It's not a common map; it's one of the most important maps ever created. This paper right here is a map of the Grand Line."
"WHAAAAAAT?!" "PIKAAAAAAA?!" None of them thought that something like that could exist. The Grand Line, the monster sea, the cemetery of ships. Whoever had that map would have a huge advantage on their hands.
"Wait, Nami. Were you planning on sailing to the Grand Line on your own?" Ashley began to see the orangette in a new light. Sailing wasn't easy, and on their own? Nami really must be very confident in her sailing abilities.
"Ha, I have been able to read air currents since I was a child. I can detect storms just by feeling the changes in temperature and humidity on my skin," she boasted of her abilities. Her audience had stars in their eyes after hearing her amazing skills.
"Join my crew, Nami! I want you to be my navigator!" Luffy grinned from ear to ear at the idea. Nami gave him a death-filled glare. "Like hell! I steal from pirates; I don't join them."
"But we are working together now. So we are friends." Luffy seemed proud of his deduction.
"Hell no! This is just a coincidence of mutual benefits. For some reason, you two idiots want to fight against Buggy and all his men, and I need them defeated to escape more easily. I´m just using you two."
"If you say so, Still, how are we getting on board of that thing?" Ashley rubbed her head. Luffy stared blankly, and then a grin formed on his face. He walked backwards towards the girls and then quickly grabbed them. His arms looped around their waists and held them tight.
"What are you doing?!" "Oy Luffy!" "Shishishi! Make sure to hold tight to Ashley Pikachu," her starter gripped her shoulder tightly and curled as much as he could.
Luffy crouched with both of them. His legs started to coil like springs. Ashley figured out quickly what he planned to do.
"Wait, Luffy!" "Let's gooooo!"
He jumped. High. Really, really high.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "PIKAAAAAAAAAAAA!" "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHH!"
The four were flying so fast and so far. While Nami and Pikachu screamed in fear, Ashley began to laugh alongside Luffy. After all, they were too similar at heart.
Soon enough, they began to fall. Thank Arceus that they landed on some pirates to soften the fall.
"Shishishishi. That was really fun." "I have to admit it was kind of exciting."
BAM. CRASH.
"Ouch Nami!" "What did I do?!"
"Don´t you dare do something like that again, you idiot! And you! Don't encourage him!" A malicious aura emanated from Nami. The chastised idiots bowed their heads and apologized.
"You," a man whispered behind them. The three turned and saw him. A round red nose, blue hair, and a pirate hat.
Captain Buggy.
"So, not only did you steal my map, you also beat my poor men, and you have the dare to come here and attack my ship. To use my crew as your landing spot!"
"Are you Buggy?" Luffy asked. His face betrayed no emotion.
"I am the great Captain Buggy! The strongest in the East Blue!"
"Yeah captain!" "Captain Buggy!" "Captain!" The crew acclaimed their captain, yelling their support.
Buggy smirked smugly. The Clown Pirate had more numbers; he was sure they could beat three children and their pet mouse easily enough. After all, he still had his ace well hidden. And the moment he uses it, then he will win.
Luffy frowned. He always admired pirates. Ever since he was a little kid and met his idol. Pirates like Shanks the red head. Pirates taught him about what it really meant to be a pirate. About freedom.
Some people became pirates to earn power or money or to simply cause chaos. Luffy did it to be free. Free to do whatever he wanted. To be whoever he wanted.
And now what he wanted was to punch that clown's nose.
So he did it.
With his rubber powers, his fist collided fast and strongly with Buggy's head, right in the nose. The force of his punch pushed him backwards and tore his head from his shoulders.
"Eh?"
"Eh?!"
"EHHHHHHHHH?! The three teens and the Pokemon screamed in shock at seeing a human head flopping to the ground.
"What the hell?! Since when can you do that!?" Ashley screamed at Luffy. She knew he was strong. He withstood Pikachu's Slam easily and defeated a full grown lion with two hits. She just didn't think he had a killer's instinct. Pikachu rubbed his cheek against her leg. The mouse, too, was disturbed by what they had seen. Despite spending years traveling and fighting, sustaining serious injuries on more than one occasion, they had never seen something so brutal.
"The hell is going on!? I didn't hit him that hard! Did he have a weak neck or something?" The young captain was confused. He had trained to fight since he was a young child. Before even meeting Shanks. And since getting his devil fruit powers, he just trained harder to maximize his power's abilities. He knew how much force to use against humans, animals, and even buildings. He didn't use too much force.
Nami stared at the corpse. Something was wrong. She had seen corpses before. She was familiar with dead bodies. Too familiar. A chuckle caught her attention. The men from Buggy's crew weren't angry. They weren't in a panic. They were… chuckling. Why? Their captain was dead. Even if they never liked him, they should at least show some emotion.
"Gyugyugyugyu," a manic laugh sounded. The teens looked at the crowd, trying to figure out who was laughing. Pikachu's ears twitched; he was concentrating. There!
"Pika! Pika pi!" He pointed at Buggy's head. Nami's eyes widened. Now she understood what was wrong.
"Where is the blood?" She whispered. The ground should be covered in a pool of blood. But there were none.
A movement from the corpse caught Ashley's attention. One of Buggy's hands was moving on its own. It was slowly floating in the air with a knife clenched in its grip. Neither Luffy nor Nami noticed it; both were staring at the head, the head that was somehow laughing.
The floating hand rotated and flew right at Luffy!
"Pikachu, intercept it with Quick Iron!"
Pikachu's body blurred, his body usedQuick Attack to reach the floating hand faster. He jumped and rotated so that his tail could hit the blade. A metallic shine covered his tail, making it impervious against damage.
Pikachu's Iron Tail clashed with Buggy's floating hand and its knife. Both struggled to gain dominance until they separated.
"Pika!" Her partner landed on his four paws, his cheeks sparkling and ready to continue.
Buggy's body moved, his remaining limbs split from the torso, and floated in the air. His head was the last to hover.
The clown pirate wasn't dead. He was laughing at them. Despite being in pieces, blood only poured his nose, from Luffy's punch.
"Gyugyugyu! Tremble at the power of the Bara Bara no Mi! The Chop-Chop Fruit. With this power, I can split my body however I want! No blade can decapitate me or dismember me! And no punch or kick can hurt me! Gyugyugyugyu!"
His gloating came to a stop, courtesy of Luffy.
"Uh, but I did hit you. So my punches can hurt you."
Buggy's vein started to throb.
"Shut up! You took me by surprise! Try to reach me now! BARA BARA FESTIVAL!"
His entire body split into dozens of parts and started to spin like a hurricane around the three teens. Pieces of Buggy hit them from every direction; they couldn't even see or try to protect themselves. In seconds, they were covered in scratches and bruises. Ashley was trying to protect Pikachu with her body. There had to be a way to escape from this. The parts moved so fast that none of them could respond in time. They couldn't even figure out a weak spot. The only thing she could think of was...
"Nami, Luffy, this is going to hurt a lot! Brave yourself! Pikachu Thundershock!"
"PI KA CHUUUUUUUU!"
Electricity enveloped all of them. Nami and Buggy cried out in pain. Ashley grunted; she was well used to Pikachu's electric moves. Luffy didn't show any sign of damage. Right, he was a rubber man; electricity didn't affect rubber.
Buggy's pieces fell to the ground, twitching from the pain. Nami fell too, but Luffy caught her. Ashley grabbed one of her special potions, one made just for this situation.
"Here, Nami, drink this. It will help with the pain and the aftershocks." Guilt covered her voice. Nami took the drink and immediately started to feel better. The bruises from Buggy's attack and Pikachu's electricity faded.
"Wow, what is that thing?" "A mix of berries a friend of mine made. It's not the first time we've used an attack like this. It probably won't be the last." "Pika," "I'm sorry that we hurt you, Nami; it was the only thing I could think of," trainer and Pokemon looked down in guilt.
Nami stared at them and then smiled. She rubbed Pikachu's head and placed her hand on Ashley's shoulder.
"You probably saved our lives, so I can forgive you this time. But you better warn me next time before you do something so stupid!" Her tone had both of them gulping and nodding.
"A mouse that can produce lighting," Buggy said. His body was reassembling slowly and in pain. Twitches and spasms were visible. "Only one place produces creatures like that. You, who are you?" His eyes wouldn't leave hers.
"Ashley Ketchum from Pallet Town"
"Captain, let me deal with this trash," a man spoke from behind Buggy.
"It's Cabaji," "Cabaji senpai," "Cabaji will destroy them."
The man they were whispering about was tall. Dark green hair styled to one side with the other half shaved. A long scarf covered his neck and partly his mouth. His most striking part was the unicycle he rode.
"If the girl dies, then the mouse won't know who to attack. Simple enough," Cabaji pointed at Ashley. A sadistic smile crept onto his lips. Pikachu growled and crouched in front of his trainer. He won't let anyone hurt her.
Cabaji began to ride towards them when a shriek stopped him. A red blur flew right at him. The chief of staff barely avoided the attack by rolling backwards. His assailant hovered protectively in front of his trainer.
"Talonflame!" "Pika!" "Flame!" The three were happy to be together again.
"Oy bird, don´t rush alone!" A man´s voice yelled. It was a young man, just a few years older than her, with short green hair, earrings, and three swords hanging from his belt.
"Zoro! There you are! What took you so long?" Luffy asked his first mate (and only crew member).
"Idiot! You fucking flew half the way here! I had to follow this thing´s directions; it kept pecking me all the way," the former bounty hunter grumbled and gave a stinky eye towards the Scorching Pokemon. The fire type glared back at him.
"What the hell happened between you too?" Talonflame wasn't violent towards strangers, although he could be proud. Maybe Zoro insulted him?
"Three swords, green hair, and a bandana. You are Roronoa Zoro, aren't you? The Pirate Hunter" Cabaji's eyes never left Zoro´s. This was his chance to prove his strength. Mohji obviously lost his fight, and the black-haired girl had some surprises up her sleeve with her strange animals. But Roronoa was human, and he could deal with him. If he beats Roronoa, then the captain will surely promote him over Mohji and his beast.
"Roronoa, fight me! Swordsman to swordsman!"
Zoro looked at him from head to unicycle. He lifted an eyebrow. Cabaji smirked. He pulled his head backward, opened his mouth, and used his fingers to pull a pommel. A sword was pulled from his stomach.
Zoro stayed unplussed. Nami watched in a mix of confusion and disgust. Luffy and Ashley had another reaction.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" "AMAZING!" stars sparkled in their eyes. Even Pikachu and Talonflame looked at Cabaji in awe of his trick.
"Do it again! Do it again!" they began to chant together.
Everybody sweatdropped at their attitude.
Buggy began to tremble in fury. He couldn't stand these kids joking and acting like he and his men were mere jokes. The girl was the most dangerous of them. He knew what she was. He knew how dangerous she could be.
"Prepare the Buggy Balls! Destroy them!" His crew went right to it. Even if the Big Top suffered damage, it didn't matter. They could easily ransack the village for more supplies for some repairs. That girl and her Pokemon had to die.
The teens saw how the pirates began to prepare the cannons on the deck and how they grabbed some big red balls. The grins on their faces gave them a bad feeling.
Zoro gripped his katanas, Ashley´s hand hovered over her belt while her two Pokemon readied themselves, Nami had a staff on her hands, and she shifted from side to side, trying to figure a way out. Luffy was the only one who seemed relaxed.
Buggy grinned, "FIRE!"
The cannons opened fire, and the Buggy Balls were launched towards the group. Luffy quickly grabbed them all with his enlarged arms and threw them away from the center. Then he sucked up all the air he could and inflated himself like a balloon. When the Buggy Balls reached him, they didn't explode. They did'n't rupture him. They were pulled in, trying to breach through Luffy´s expanded body. The young pirate, however, moved, and the balls were repelled back to their cannons.
The pirates yelled and ran away from the coming artillery. An explosion was produced, and when the smoke cleared, the cannons and parts of the ship were destroyed. Many of the pirates suffered injuries from the explosion; some didn't move at all. Buggy stared at the destruction in shock and rage. How dare these thieves destroy all he had worked for!
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! CABAJI! EVERYONE! I WANT THESE RATS DEAD!" "YES CAPTAIN!"
Buggy went right towards Ashley, with Cabaji right beside him. However, Luffy and Zoro intercepted them.
"I thought you wanted to kill me, circus boy?" Zoro taunted the other pirate.
"Your fight is with me, Buggy!" Luffy yelled at the senior captain.
"Luffy-" "Ashley I don't want anybody to intervene. This is a one-on-one fight." The trainer nodded. She respected that. She turned towards Nami and her team.
"You heard him; let's take care of this rabble while those two have their fun," her team nodded. Nami struggled with herself. A part of her, the one that kept her alive for so long, wanted to use this chance to raid Buggy´s treasury and then ran away. But she couldn´t. Ashley and Luffy had saved her life in many ways. This was never their fight. They didn't win anything by making an enemy out of Buggy.
"I just want to beat that jerk." That's what both said about the clown pirate. That's the only reason they were risking their lives.
"Come on, it's just a little girl! We just have to shoot her!" The remaining members of Buggy's crew grabbed their swords and pistols and pointed at them.
"Talonflame Razor Wind! Pikachu Quick Slam!"
Talonflame created small whirlwinds in front of him while Pikachu sped up and collided with their enemies. The yellow mouse moved between their legs and hit them with his tail. He was so fast they couldn't hit him; instead, they mostly hit each other, which caused more confusion. That was when the whirlwinds struck them and sent them flying.
One of the pirates managed to crept behind Ashley and tried to choke her with his arms. She kicked his groin, and while he was whimpering in pain on the ground, she kicked his teeth out. Another man tried to rush her, but a staff to the face had him seeing little stars. Nami smiled at her. Ashley nodded, and both went back to back to protect each other.
While Nami and Ashley teamed up, Zoro was having some fun. At first glance, he thought that the so-called Cabaji was just a moron with all his theatrics and behavior. However, he soon realized that the other swordsman had lots of tricks in his bag. The man was able to fight while riding his unicycle without losing ground or his footing. Zoro was currently wielding two swords against Cabaji's single weapon.
Every time their blades clashed, Cabaji would strike at his side with a kick. Because of the height difference, Zoro was unable to protect himself against both the sword and the kicks. That's when he drew his second blade. The added steel allowed him to press with more force and to threaten Cabaji when he tried to kick him.
Cabaji used his unicycle to circle around Zoro, trying to disorient him. At the last second, he attacked; however, Zoro was able to block his attack and headbutt the acrobat. When Zoro rushed forward, the pirate breathed fire using his circus skills.
Both men were tired and covered in bruises and scratches. Zoro felt that some of his ribs were bruised, maybe broken. His eyes still sting from the previous fire attack. Cabaji wasn't better. Blood poured from his nose, and his temperament was rising. His chance to prove himself better than Mohji in his captain´s eyes was slipping.
"I'm so tired of this shit," Zoro said first.
"Oh, feeling ready to give up, Roronoa."
"Nah, I'm just tired of your pathetic tricks. I can't believe trash like you is giving me so much trouble. I better step up my training."
Cabaji raged at the insult, "Pathetic tricks? Pathetic tricks!? I will show you pathetic tricks, Roronoa Zoro! I will use my real sword technique to send you to the afterlife!"
Cabaji sped up at maximum speed right towards Zoro, his sword ready to strike. Zoro finally pulled his third sword and grabbed its pommel with his mouth; his teeth gripped it tightly, and his neck muscles contracted with ease.
"DIE RORONOA!" "ONI GIRI!"
Blood poured on the ground. Cabaji´s front was sliced by three blades.
"How? How could some lousy thief defeat me?" He collapsed to the ground, not believing that he had lost to a bounty hunter.
"You weren't fighting a thief; you were fighting a pirate."
Zoro looked around him. He saw that Talonflame´s owner, Ashley, was standing in front of a pile of bodies. They were twitching, and he could swear that he saw arcs of lighting dancing around their bodies. The yellow mouse and Talonflame were both at her side. He didn't see the other girl around.
"Oy, where is the other girl?" "Eh, Nami? She said something about robbing Buggy´s treasury. We were done here, so I told her to go for it."
"Really?" he sweatdropped. "Yep. Nami is a thief; besides, I think it will be a good way to rub it into Buggy after Luffy defeats him."
He chuckled. She wasn't wrong about that. Both saw where their friend was fighting. It seemed the fight was on its last legs.
Both captains were panting. During their fight, Buggy realized that simple punches and hits weren't able to hurt the young man. His rubber body just absorbed the damage like it was nothing. So, instead of splitting his entire body into dozens of pieces and spinning around him, he just split his arms and hands and used his knives. Luffy was strong enough that he could grab Buggy´s hands and stop them from stabbing him, but the rest of Buggy´s body would take that opportunity to hit him and weaken his hold. Right now, the young pirate was covered in cuts around his face and arms.
"Oy, watch it; you almost scratched my hat!" Luffy complained after one knife came too close to damaging his straw hat.
"Why the hell would I care?! It's just a stupid straw hat!" "No, it's not; it's my treasure!"
"Treasure? Are you keeping gold in there? Or a key to a chest? A map? What is it? Tell me before I gut you and take it from your corpse!"
"Eh? What are you talking about? My hat is my treasure; it´s important to me. Shanks gave it to me before leaving."
Buggy froze in his attack.
Shanks.
Shanks.
SHANKS!
"You. How do you know that fucking bastard?!" "You know Shanks?" "Of course I know that bastard. I lost my own treasure because of him. Thanks to that idiot, I lost the ability to swim and the opportunity to win millions of berries."
Even now, he became incensed when thinking about his perfect plan to sell the Devil Fruit, which the crew they were both in as children had found. He had created a forgery and ate it in front of the entire crew. Then he planned on leaving with the real one and a map that he had hidden. However, Shanks had found him about to leave, and in his panic, Buggy had swallowed the real Devil Fruit. Not only that, but his map fell to the water, and he was unable to save it!
"You have no idea how much pain that red-headed bastard caused me! The fortune that I lost!"
"I´m sure Shanks didn´t mean it; he is a cool guy."
Buggy glared at the kid. Wait, the strawhat.
"That straw hat, that's Shanks' straw hat, isn't it?" "Yeah, he gave it to me before sailing again. We made a promise."
Buggy smiled malevolently. Before Luffy could react, his straw hat was ripped from his head and stabbed. He froze. Buggy´s feet proceed to stomp his beloved hat. Anger began to flow through his entire body. He could handle Buggy insulting him and trying to kill him. But disrespecting his straw hat meant disrespecting Shanks, his idol.
"You bas-" One of Buggy´s parts hit him right on the face. A flying knife sailed right for his head. He managed to avoid it by stretching his neck backward. Buggy had reformed most of his body and was floating. Only his lower half remained on the ground. His upper body (head included) floated, and both of his hands had knives between each finger.
Before Buggy could send an attack towards Luffy, something called his attention. Nami was walking back to the deck, a giant rucksack on her back. The thief was leaving Buggy´s office, where he kept most of his treasury.
"Fucking thief! Who do you think you are?!" His upper body rushed towards Nami, intending on killing her. Luffy was about to follow it when he realized something.
Nami heard Buggy´s shout and ran for her life. When she knew that Buggy was behind her, she closed her eyes and waited. A whimper sounded. She opened her eyes and saw that Buggy´s face was contorted in pain. A look behind him showed the cause.
Luffy had kicked the pirate in the groin. Right on the best friend. Buggy was incensed.
"BARA BARA FESTIVAL!" His lower body dissembled and he rushed towards Nami. First he will kill the thief, then Shank's friend, then the Pokemon trainer and her pets, and finally Roronoa. And lastly, the fucking village that obviously hired them to disrupt his plans! He was about to finish the thief when he started to laugh. Not in an evil way. He felt ticklish.
The others saw how Luffy had one of Buggy´s feet in his hold and how he tickled it. The clown captain rolled on the ground, his parts scrambled from the tickles. Luffy grinned and began to punch the foot in different ways. With his hands against the deck, with pistols laying around, Buggy kept cringing and moaning in pain. However, the pirate refused to give up and kept trying to kill Nami.
Ashley and Zoro exchanged looks. A silent conversation happened between them. As long as Luffy doesn't ask for their help, they won´t interfere.
During the chaos, Nami kept running from one side to another, trying to avoid Buggy´s attacks. Finally, Luffy got fed up and gave up with the foot.
"Gomu Gomu nooo Pistol!" His arm stretched, and his fist collided with the clown´s face. Buggy hit the sack and, more importantly, the golden statues and relics inside. The force between Luffy's strength and the impact against the gold finally stopped the mad clown.
Nami breathed agitatedly. She was alive. Somehow, she was alive. They had won. The village was safe. And she had all this gold!
"YEEEEEESSSSSSS!" She screamed happily. The others just grinned.
Nami saw that even unconscious Buggy had not reassembled. An evil grin crept into her face. She began to grab all the parts she could and went to look for two sacks.
"What are you doing?" Ashley asked her, confused, "Put the gold in this sack; I´m going to leave Buggy a little present to remember us."
The others saw what she meant and grinned too.
After a while, they left the ship. Luffy was carrying one sack while Nami was carrying the other.
"Yes" "Uh?" "We want to join you, Luffy," Ashley pointed at herself and Pikachu. Talonflame was already in his pokeball. Ashley patted her belt to indicate that the rest of her team would be okay with her choice. Luffy grinned and jumped in happiness.
"Yes! We have new members, Zoro!" "Hm." Luffy's first mate nodded at her. She and her starter nodded back.
"What about you, Nami, want to join us?" Nami wanted to scream no, but something stopped her. She remembered her chat with Ashley, the fight against Mohji and Buggy, and the crew. How Luffy kept saving her despite not knowing her. Before she could answer, someone stopped them.
"Who the hell are you?!" In front of them were people—not just people, but the townspeople. They carried pitchforks, handmade spears, and knives.
"We are pirates," Luffy said before any of them could. The townspeople became angrier at his admission. Before any misunderstanding could happen, Ashley spoke.
"We are not with Buggy! Actually, we just robbed him and are about to leave. It might be your best chance to get them out of here; we gave them a good beating."
With those words, she grabbed Luffy by his arm and dragged him away before he did something to anger the horde. Nami and Zoro just followed them. Behind, a town decided to rise up.
When they made it to their boats, they saw a surprise—well, for three of them.
"Why are three guys tied up here?" Ashley asked, "Oh, those idiots tried to rob me, so I forced them to bring me here. Your bird found us when that happened and gave me your note. When we made port, they tried to rob your boat, so your buddy knocked them out."
"Classic Talonflame; he really is protective."
For the next few minutes, they threw the sack that contained Buggy´s body parts to the sea, and they tied Luffy´s boat to Ashley so the currents wouldn't split them apart by mistake. Nami tied another rope to her own boat. At their stares, she just gave a cherish grin.
"Your captain here wants to become the next Pirate King right? That means you will need to go to the Grand Line. A good navigator is essential for that journey. Lucky for all of you, I´m the best navigator in the world."

"I hope things get better for them," Nami murmured.
"Buggy was crippled, his best men defeated, and his ship damaged. His best choice is to leave now before the Marines are called. His number one priority will be to recover his parts. He won't be stupid enough to remain on a small island with no resources or allies," Zoro summarized.
"They will be fine. They are strong people. Besides, I left them enough gold to rebuild the village."
