It felt only yesterday that I was suffering through war. Gunshots flying over my head. Bombs exploding right next to me. Dogmanity breaking into absolute chaos. And my hope during that time was broken. I felt that the Spirit wouldn't give me another chance, not in a million years. Yet…here I am. In a new world, filled with extraordinary wonders. Many things to discover and unravel to my peculiar curiosity. So…here goes the first step.

Continuing the story, Dustin is sitting on the bench. After wiping his tears from his face, he finds himself confused with his new surroundings. He looks to his right and to his left, noticing the empty space he is in. Sitting straight, he begins to feel clueless and unclear of what to do next.

"Well…what do I do next?"

So much for first steps, huh? Let me skip some time and we should be alright.

This Episode of Dustin is called "Starting Over…Again."

(Here you may insert a theme song or any song of your choice, because I didn't have the time to think of one.)

5 Days Later…

"Well, Mr. Spitz, that will be 950 dollars every month. Water and gas will be paid separately every month as well, and yeah, that should pretty much cover all the necessary. So, what do you think?" A woman in a suit turns to face Dustin, as Dustin is checking every spot of the place and admiring the humble house.

Dustin, feeling astonished, answers, "I like it. Good enough for me alone so, yeah, I'll take it."

The woman smiles, "Very good. Then here," she hands Dustin a pair of keys to every room inside the house, "enjoy the place and someone will come tomorrow to pick up your first pay, ok?"

"Fine by me. Thank you very much," Dustin receives the keys and politely responds.

"You're welcome and pleasure doing business with you," she reaches out and extends her hand to shake Dustin's hand, to which Dustin also shakes her hand.

Once the two are outside, they both say their goodbyes and Dustin is now owner of his own home. He gazes at the keys in his house and smiles, remembering all the times he doubted himself and his life. But look at him now. Here with his new house, new life, and new year: 2018.

Wow, going from 1499 to 2018 is a trippy experience. I hope I never do that again.

But just as Dustin is in his thoughts, he remembers something important. "Oh, my journal! I have to finish that last paragraph in my story."

Dustin takes a seat on his bench, pulling his journal from his bag and a pencil to write. He then begins to write away, determined to finish the last part of his autobiography. But before he writes, he takes one good look at his house. The literal definition of humble. It's small, but good enough for one person at least. He then looks around his neighborhood, which is on the left side of what appears to be a cul-de-sac. His house is surrounded by similar establishments of the same word: humble. He loves it. After admiring the setting, he continues to write in his journal. But little does he know that he lives in, not just any cul-de-sac, but in…

"Good Morning!" Dustin's ears perk up to the surprising voice and turn to the end of the cul-de-sac, to where two adult dogs come closer to his house. Noticing this, he puts down his book and gets up from the bench.

Dustin returns the greeting, "Morning!"

The blue and dark blue canine continues, "You must be the new neighbor, right?"

"Hehe, yeah. That's me," Dustin raises his hand out, "The name's Dustin Sable Spitz."

The blue dog returns the handshake, "Bandit Heeler, and my wife's Chilli Heeler."

Chilli points out, "Dustin Sable Spitz. That's a unique name."

Dustin shrugs, "Yeah, almost everyone says that. Back home, many considered my name…weird."

"I was gonna say. You're not from around here, are you? The accent's a bit off," Bandit questions.

Dustin, feeling nervous of mentioning where he is from, responds, "Oh yes, I'm not at all from here. I'm from Cambridge, England."

Once said, Bandit and Chilli's eyes widened and their faces turned surprised, to which Bandit then said, "Oh Wackadoo! Chilli, we have a British man living in this cul-de-sac. Wait till the girls find out."

Confused at this predicament, Dustin asks, "Is it surprising I'm an English dog?"

Chilli answers the question, "Well, to us it is. We never really meet many British who come down to live in Australia, and well, here we are talking with an actual British person in front of us. The girls also just love the "Royal Land", as they like to call it."

Dustin, feeling some pride in himself, says, "Hmm, nice to know. Your girls must be dying to ever meet a British canine in the flesh."

Bandit nodding and laughing, "They sure are."

"Yeah, anywho, your girls. What are their names?" Dustin asks with curiosity.

Chilli responds, "Well, our oldest is Bluey and she's 7, while the other one is 6. Her name's Bingo."

Dustin comments, "Bluey and Bingo. Now those are some unique names right there."

"Haha yeah, they truly are. They're really nice kids, I will say," Chilli nods.

"Hey mate, what were you reading?" Bandit points to the book on the bench, causing Dustin to panic a little.

"Oh, well, you see…it's…a…story! Yeah, a story I'm making. About adventure and horror. It's somewhat interesting," Dustin answers, somewhat hysterically and suspiciously.

Although Bandit takes the bait, Chilli found it somewhat of a lie, seeing Dustin's random movement and way of speaking the words. However, she brushes it off and keeps on chatting. That's when they check the time and notice a good amount passed during their chat.

"Oh biscuits, time really flies when talking to new people, doesn't?" Bandit checks his phone and wears a face of shock, glimpsing at the present hour in that moment. He continues, "Well, we best be going now. See you around, Dustin."

"See ya, Dustin," adds Chilli.

Dustin smiles and waves at his new neighbors, "Yeah, bye. See you around!"

As Dustin watches the perfect couple go off back to their house, he thinks of one word that he said…"Hmm, Dying?"

He stares back at his journal, and proceeds to write one word on the cover. The cherry on top of it all. He writes it down on the front of the book, and smiles. Filled with glee, he goes into his house and admires the inside of it. There, he puts his book down on a counter, to which we see the title of it: Undying.

Dustin walks and sits on the couch, enjoying some peace after all he went through. That was until he heard…*grumble*

He looks down to see his stomach rumbling, filling him with hunger. He scoffs it off and walks over to his fridge, then he opens it and…it's empty.

"Shit"

This is the first episode done! One down…*heavily sighs*...51 more to go. But hey, this is the kind of pickle I get myself into in life. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it and please be patient for the next episode. If you haven't heard, there is another series being made by me. Very original and war-related. It's also a crossover between many different oc's of different Bluey fanfics. So yes, if you want to check it out, it will release its first episode on February 9. Once again, thank you for everything and see you soon.
